I spent the next few hours working on my project, attempting to lose myself in my work. I made myself comfy in my bed, sitting cross-legged by the headboard, laptop aptly in my lap and textbook flipped open on my bed. With a sigh, I slid the laptop off to the side and leaned against the headboard, rubbing my eyes, feeling the fatigue. She glanced at the alarm clock on her night stand. 4:38 pm. Wonder when Anna gets off? I felt a twinge at my accidental double entendre. Jeez, even embarrassing myself with the dirty jokes. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and shot Anna a text.

"Hey, when are you off work? Need a ride?" I sent it to her. I looked at my phone for a while before locking it and setting it back on the nightstand. She's at work Els, she can't text you back right away. I sighed again and closed my eyes. Yeah, I think we're done for today, my eyes are killing me. I reached over to my laptop and saved my work, closing it up and then laying back down.

The semester had been going along smoothly, all the classes were fairly easy to pin down, but my class on management of a non-profit decided it wanted to throw me for a loop. It's almost like the professor knew I didn't like public speaking. The professor insisted that we would need to build the face of the organization. As a non-profit, we would be looking to convince donors to donate and continue donating, and without their donations our business would fail. Couldn't I just hire someone for that? My phone on the nightstand buzzed twice so I grabbed it and unlocked it.

"I'm actually out now. Had a great first day! Didn't even trip and break everything like I usually do. I'm at the bus stop now, do you want me to pick up some food or something on the way back?" Anna's response brought a small smile to my face.

Do I even have anything to cook? I hadn't been grocery shopping for two the last time I went. I thought for a moment about it and then just gave up. "I don't think I have much I could make here, let's pick something up after you get home?"

"Sure :) See you soon!" Anna replied.

5:12 PM. The clock on her phone confirmed. I got up and tidied up a bit, sliding my books back into their places on the bookshelf and setting my laptop on top of the bookshelf. Now that everything was back in place, I took a moment to check myself in the mirror. "Braid? Mostly intact." I said aloud to myself. No time to straighten it out, so it's good enough.

I plopped back down on my bed and closed my eyes. Glad I got that work done early, I am looking forward to relaxing the rest of the day. I continued to lay there, soaking in the quiet and staying somewhere between sleeping and being awake.

The sound of the front door pulls me from my half-awake state. I can hear Anna mumbling to herself as she struggles with the front door, and the sounds of something hitting the floor as she loses her grip on it. With a yawn, I slip out of bed and stretch. Going out into the living room I'm greeted with the sight of Anna hopping around on one foot, struggling to pull her one remaining shoe off, a bag of what looks like sugar packets sitting on the ground next to her. A small giggle escapes my lips, which she turns to look at me, blushes, loses her balance, and tips over onto the couch, letting out an exasperated sigh. A full-on laugh from me this time makes her crack a smile and she lets out a huff of air blow a couple strands of copper hair out of her face.

"You know, it's rude to laugh at people," she scolds, doing her best to look stern, her blush still in full effect. I can only nod through my laughter in response. Anna reaches into the bag and tosses a small handful of sugar packets at me, some hitting me, some scattering around the room.

I finally stop laughing and give her a smirk. "You know, it's rude to throw things at people." A solid eye roll, her smile never leaving her lips.

"So, are we going to go get some food or what?"

With that, we got ready and headed out. We decided on Mexican food, and hit one of my favorite restaurants in town. Anna went into great detail about her first day and how surprised she was to have not broken anything, set anything on fire, or generally made a fool of herself on her first day.

I really do enjoy her story telling. She's so.. animated.

Anna was now pantomiming pouring coffee beans into a coffee grinder, exaggerating how perilous it felt at the time.

"Thankfully I didn't manage to tip it over, so, no mess thankfully." she finished with a smile, looking at me expectantly. With a laugh, I gave her light applause as she faked a bow.

"So how was your day?" she asked.

"fairly boring," I sighed, "spent most of the time working on a group project for school, though I did get to sneak in a nap."

"You spent your Sunday doing school work?" She asked incredulously.

"Seems like an average sunday for me," I shrugged, "I'm honestly just excited I got it done and got to sneak in a nap in the middle of the day."

"This is going to sound strange coming from someone who just spent a day at work, but you should try to relax more." Anna sighed, pushing the little bit of food in her box that remained around with her fork. "If you school work through the weekend it's like the week never ends!"

I let out a little laugh. Hey, that felt pretty natural. Keep that up Els. "Well I didn't work on it yesterday, we made plans instead, and honestly.. this project is a nightmare so I feel like I need to keep working on it."

"Ooo what kind of project?" Anna interrupted, "please tell me youre making a baking soda volcano. Those are awesome."

"If only," I managed to breathe out through my giggle, "it's a presentation involving the pitch to get investors for a non-profit organization." I wrapped up the remains of my burrito in its wrapper. "In honesty, the project is basically done. Just have to.. present it in class." I hesitated on that last bit, the thought of talking to a room full of people, commanding their attention, making me shudder.

"Not a fan of the spotlight?" Anna gave a sincere, understanding smile. I nodded. "Well I can understand that, I do fine with it right up until a ramble endlessly about something and everyone tunes out."

"I wish that was my case," I let out an exasperated sigh, "My public speaking usually comes off cold and monotone, and then the nerves really kick in and I forget how to form sentences or say words, like I freeze up." Last time you didn't show up to school for a week because the panic attacks were so strong. "Let's just say it's bad and every time I have to do it I dread it."

"That bad, huh?" she said, a look of understanding crossing her face.

"Yeah," I huffed, then with a shake of my head, "but hey, i'll live." She tapped her chin pensively with one finger, eyes looking up and left as she was thinking.

"What if I help you practice?" she finally said, bringer her eyes to meet mine. "I'm not the best public speaker but maybe I can find some tips to make it a bit easier?"

"Well," I paused. Well, I don't see why not. It does feel fairly easy to talk to her. If it makes getting this project over with any easier then I'm all for it. "Sure." I finally said, realizing that I paused to think much longer than I meant to.

She let out a small sigh of relief. "It's settled, when do you want to start?"

"Actually," the nerves crept back up, making me scrunch my shoulders, "the project is due on Friday so as soon as possible."

"Then there's no time to waste!" she closed up her styrofoam box and started to stand up, "let's get home and get started!" With a smile, and a roll of my eyes, I grabbed my burrito and headed out to the car with her.

Within minutes of starting the drive home, Anna had dozed off. Her ability to doze off in a moving vehicle was something to envy. Would have made some of those long drives much more comfortable if I could have slept like a rock the whole way.

With a chuckle, I stole another glance at Anna. She looks so peaceful but also.. how does her neck not kill her? She had fallen asleep with her head tilted back and to the side, leaning against the window. The weird angle she had on her neck was making her snore slightly. I drove slowly over the bumps not wanting to disturb her. She's had a harrowing day at her new job, she deserves the sleep.

Once I pulled into the driveway at home I parked and woke her by gently nudging her knee. She opened her eyes and looked around groggily. "Where? What? Who?" she said, blinking, trying to get her eyes to focus. "Oh hey, we're here," a sudden blush started to creep up her neck, "Oh no, I didn't snore did I?

Before I could say no, the smile I got at the thought of her snoring against the window must have been enough to give it away. The blush bloomed into her cheeks and she cleared her throat. "It.. wasn't loud at least right?"

"Not at all!" I said. "It was very soft, and honestly, kind of comforting."

She gave a small smile, blush receding. "Well consider yourself lucky, my mom used to say it was sometimes like sleeping next to a chainsaw being mauled by a grizzly bear."

"Now that would be impressive!" I said with a laugh. She just rolled her eyes and grabbed her to-go box and hopped out of the car.

"Maybe one of these days you'll get to hear!" She said, shrugging her shoulders, "If you wake up in the middle of the night to the sounds of an angry grizzly, don't be too alarmed. Well.. maybe be the right amount of alarmed but check that it's not just me before calling someone."

I strode up next to her and walked up to the front door. "I'll make sure you are not the source before calling the authorities, although that would be a hilarious story to tell!" I unlocked the door and took our leftovers and slid them into the fridge.

"So, do you still want to practice for your project?" She looked up at me expectantly.

I let out a big sigh, letting my head droop down, "I was partly hoping you would forget about it."

"I mean.. We don't have to work on it if you really don't want to?" She kept her eyes on my face, trying to read me. "If you don't think it will help.."

"No no.. I think I could use the chance to practice with someone I may not be quite as nervous in front of." I said, heading over towards the bedroom to locate my notes, returning a few moments later. I stood awkwardly in front of where she was sitting on the couch, fidgeting with my notebook. She eyed me, stroking her chin in thought.

"Let's try this!" she says suddenly, shifting to one side of the couch. "Come sit here next to me, and let's just talk about the business. I'll ask you some questions and try to answer them."

Joining her on the couch felt much more comfortable, and she probed about the requirements of the project. She would clarify points and took her time making me convince her I knew what I was talking about. We spent about an hour just chatting about the content but I already felt like I had actually learned more of the content in the last hour than in the last two weeks of working on it.

"See?" She said, finally letting up. "You know this stuff like the back of your hand, you know the answers, and all you have to do is present the answers to the other person. Doesn't matter if there is one or twenty." She rested a warm, reassuring hand on my knee. "Now want to try it while standing?"

I nodded and stood up, leaving my notebook on the couch. after taking a deep breath and a thumbs up from Anna. I started. It only really took maybe five minutes to run through all the details, but the minutes seemed to drag on. Anna was attentive and a model audience. When I finally finished, she gave a round of applause. "Perfect! You do still look a little nervous, like you're trying to rush through the info to get it over with but that aside, you got all the way through!"

I released my braid that I didn't realize I had been clutching and gave a sheepish, "Thanks." She frowned a little at me, looking concerned. "Sorry, still nerve racking for me but I think running through it with you helped. Honest!" I tried my best to sound reassuring.

She gave an understanding smile. "You've got this Elsa," her lips quirked up a little, closer to a smirk now, "and don't forget, if you get really nervous just imagine everyone in their underwear." A memory of Anna pulling me into the dressing room a day earlier flashed through my mind. Based on her following giggle, my face must have given me away. "I'm sorry," she said, "I just can't help but tease sometimes."

I did my best to look offended and stuck my tongue out at her, which only prompted more giggling. I couldn't help the smile that crept over my face at the sound. "Very rude," I rolled my eyes, "and unfair that you get to know the things that turn me into a bumbling mess and I know none of yours."

"I have to keep my mysterious persona up somehow," she shrugged, getting over her giggles. "Also, about that.." she trailed off a little, and the way she was slightly chewing on her lower lip gave the impression she was nervous. "I wanted to apologize again.. for this morning and last night." She gave a sheepish look.

The events of the morning were not forgotten but I hadn't really considered them today. "Didn't you already apologize?" I asked, giving her a confused look.

"Well.. yes and no. I apologized for trying to kiss you," the memory swam back up, my cheeks burning slightly guaranteeing that I was blushing, "but I think I have been.. pushing you." She was wringing her hands, and the mood seemed to have shifted dramatically from the light teasing moments before.

"Pushing how?" I asked

"Not everyone is as.. comfortable or open with their.. preferences." Oh, she means that. I nodded, showing I was understanding. "I just.. ugh I am making this so much more awkward than it needs to be." She took a breath and continued. "Anyhow, the short version is that I want you to feel comfortable telling me anything and I am sorry that I sometimes tease by being suggestive. I truly don't mean anything bad by it but if it makes you uncomfortable,"

"We're good," I interrupted, and she looked up at me and away from her hands, "You don't make me uncomfortable, just very um.. shy? No, more like.. flustered." The memory of stuttering out words while Anna wore an intense expression while we had coffee this morning swam through my mind. I shook the thought away and found that Anna was smirking up at me, no longer wringing her fingers but just fiddling with the end of one of her braids and watching me speak. "a-and as far as preferences.. I mean.. you've seen how flustered you make me so i'm sure you've got that much figured out." Real smooth Els, very proud sounding.

Anna's smirk only grew in size, she started to stand, but stopped herself and sat back down. "I make you feel.. flustered?" She smirked up at me.

Uh oh Els, that's a big smirk. I took in a deep breath but only was able to manage a slight nod, one hand moving up and stroking what was left of my braid.

"And does it bother you when I make you feel flustered?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, the same expression on her face. Once again, for some reason, my voice wouldn't come out of my mouth so I resigned to shaking my head no. "What about me makes you flustered?"

"U-umm.." my voice did not want to cooperate and my brain was telling me to say something even more embarrassing. Just say it, she's gorgeous. "You can look very intense sometimes." I just managed to eek out.

Anna's stare finally broke and she brought both hands to her cheeks, pushing them in. "You're shooo cute." She said through her scrunched mouth. The mood became immediately lighter. "Sorry, I know I was just apologizing for doing that but.." she gestured to me, "You get all wide-eyed and blushy.. Too adorable to pass up."

I rolled my eyes. "Geez, so rude." The burn in my cheeks slowly subsided. "Are you like this with all your girlfrie," Phrasing Els, "erm, friends who are girls?"

She genuinely thought for a second. "Hmm.. not really." she finally said, "most friends i've had don't react quite so.. vibrantly." I must have blushed a little in response because she giggled again. "Yeah, like that!"

Something must have finally snapped in me. Yeah! Fight back Els! A burst of confidence flowed through me as I pulled myself into her lap, straddling her with my legs on either side of hers. I put my hands out to the sides to brace against the sides as I leaned down to get into her personal space. All the sudden confidence quickly retreated as I felt my left hand slip off of the arm of the couch and all my weight shift forwards. A brief gasp and then our mouths collided. The heat of Anna's lips burned red hot against mine and my cheeks burned in response. As my hands floundered trying to grab the arm of the couch and pull back in my embarrassment.

There was suddenly a feeling of something against my lips and I realized that Anna's eyes had slid shut, and a hand had reached around and pressed into the small of my back. Oh fuck. My breathing froze, my lips parted without thinking as I felt Anna's tongue probe forward again. An unfamiliar feeling came alight in my stomach and my eyes closed. Desire Els. My body reacted on its own, hands finding purchase on the couch but not pulling back from the impromptu kiss at all. My tongue tentatively pushed forward and met hers, a soft groan escaping my throat as the rush of sensations caused my desire to burn hotter.

Time you listened to yourself Els, no going back now. Anna's left hand stayed against my back as her right reached up and held my neck, solidifying our kiss firmly. Her own moan escaped with a gasp of breath. My whole body felt like it was on fire, every shift and change sending tingles and warmth through my whole body.

My left hand stayed steady against the arm of the couch, but my right reached up to the back of the couch, leaning us back into the cushions, the kiss remaining unbroken.

Anna pulled back, and my eyes opened to meet hers. We were still close together, foreheads near touching, eyes locked to each others, our chests both heaving with ragged breaths. I realized at that moment that her face was flushed and couldn't help but let a small smirk form. Yeah, but I can tell i'm at least twice as red. My smirk faltered a bit as I could feel the question forming in Anna's eyes.

"Are," her voice caught a bit as she recovered, "Are you sure about this?"

Sure? Well, not entirely. But.. My head was absolutely jumbled with all of the stimulus it was trying to process. I felt myself nod and my voice attempted to speak but only managed to push out a whisper-like "Yes." Anna's eyes were alight again, a smile pulling across her lips. Her hands reached up and clasped my face on either side, her hands warm against my face, still burning with a blush.

"Just let me know if I go too fast," she said softly and then closed her eyes and leaned back in to kiss again. As soon as our lips met, one of her hands moved to my hip and shifted our weights, turning us to the side and landing me on my back on couch, laying back on it, she somehow managed to keep our lips locked together.

My hands froze to my sides, uncertain of where to place them, but her's stayed firmly at my hip and against the side of my jaw. Her kissing somehow gained fervor, the heat in my body rising intensely. It felt intoxicating and it quickly pulled me from my indecision. My hands grabbed her hips, gripping tightly. Her hand against my cheek turned my head, our lips separating in a gasp, and she trailed kisses across my jawline and up near my ear. Her voice came out in an almost sultry whisper as her hand at my hip slid up my side, my shirt pulling up slightly, her hand warm and soft against my skin. "So gorgeous." The hand at my waist softly slid up, and the one at my face let a finger slip across my lips. "My sweet Elsa."

My breathing was in rasps, and the burning in my abdomen was hotter than ever. My head was swimming in all of the intense feelings. Before I could pull myself from the thoughts, the lightheaded feeling had caught up. I felt Anna's hand leave my side and she said my name again. "Elsa?" Her voice sounded suddenly far away. I tried to look but couldn't see her suddenly. I closed my eyes trying to escape the blinding light and mumbled something incoherent trying to answer her. My whole body still tingled pleasantly as the familiar feeling of fainting overtook all else.

*Author's Note*
Hello all! Long time since I got to write on this story and hopefully it is all you hoped for. Warred with myself for a long time on how to write this part. Hope you all enjoy! Side note - I feel so mean to Elsa ' poor, blushy sweetheart.
