Chapter 13: "Happy" Birthday
Date: January 12th, 2024
The surprise birthday party for me is now over. I guess I should just train or something until another mission pops up. That was how I felt at the time besides the peaceful joy I was also feeling. I trained for 2 hours with some of my friends. Once we were done, all of us were sweating. But then, Dominic suddenly coughs up blood and collapses. "What the hell is going on? Dominic!" Bray shouts: "Swiftdrawer! Begin CPR! I will prepare to examine him with one of my spells!" "Okay! But I need to check for a pulse first. *checks for pulse* He has no pulse!" Barla takes all of her gear and runs into a wall at full force, fracturing her skull and dying from the injury. "No! I can't sense Barla's Ki anymore, that killed her! And I can't sense Dominic's either." Bray looks over them and sighs: "I have bad news-" She clenches her chest and collapses too. Before I knew it, 3 of my dearest friends were dead. It didn't stop there. I had 3 other training partners for the session. Before I even turned to see if they were okay, Madeline had already activated one of the Wacky Clowns' training chainsaws and now, she's dead too. Carlos then died from punching the wall over and over again way too hard. Herbsalvin died the same way as Bray. I managed to catch them as they collapsed but I sensed them die in my arms. Tears began falling from my eyes: "My friends.. My lover.. No! This can't be happening! This must be some kind of nightmare! AAAAAAAAAAA! What is going on?! How did they all die?!" I run out of the training room to cry in a quiet corner only for me to witness Fluffy's death by banana peel, trash can, and axe. I heard screams come from one of the bathrooms and a loud crash from the library. "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!" Screams and more were heard everywhere. Concerned for my comrades, I decided to check on all of them while continuing to cry and despair.
But whenever I got anywhere, anyone I saw was already dead or dying. Even Aqua died despite being a goddess. I raced from room to room, hoping to save someone or to see at least one person who wasn't dead or dying. But no. I looked everywhere but it was too late for everyone in the base. Desperately, I try to contact BRAINS members in other universes but all I get is silence. "EVERYONE IS DYING!" That's about when I accidentally knocked myself out. When I came to, I found myself in an elevator with no recollection of what just happened. "I feel like I'm forgetting something important. What happened and why am I here?" The elevator doors open. I stepped out of the elevator and into some kind of bar. That's when I saw a familiar face: Marceline. She greets me: "Hey, Swiftdrawer! It's been a while!" "Yes it has, Marceline. But what even is this place? It feels so familiar and yet I can't place why." "I don't know but you're looking really cool as usual in that armor of yours." "Thanks. This looks like some kind of bar. I guess we should see what this is about." "Yeah, we should. It'll be like a little adventure and an excuse for us to get to know each other a little better. After all, I do really dig your vibe. Always have since we first met each other." "That's a good idea. Let's sit down at the bar." And that's exactly what we do. We sit down at the English style modern bar. A white haired and pale skinned man with light blue eyes in a typical bartender's uniform with a red tie, white shirt, and black apron or something was waiting for us. He speaks to us: "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Decim and I'll be your bartender." He bows Japanese style. Marceline smiles: "It's very cool to meet you! You also have a vibe I dig!" I add: "Yeah, it's very nice to meet you." Decim nods and replies: "You will likely find this a strange question but I'm afraid I do have to ask. Do you remember anything prior to your arrival here?" I shake my head: "No but now that I think about it, I feel sweaty. Was I training? Maybe that's what I was doing? I'm not sure."
Marceline adds: "I have no clue. I might have been hanging with Bonnibel or something but I guess being part vampire, part demon, and part human really messes up my memory sometimes." "I see. Thank you for indulging me." "If this is a bar, could I get something to drink? I seem to be pretty thirsty, I'd like a water if that's okay." "Very well. *gestures to Marceline* Would you like anything to drink?" "I'll have whatever the reddest drink you have is." "I will be right back with your drinks." He goes to the back. "So Swiftdrawer, neither of us can recall what we were doing before now. How about we make a guessing game out of our shared problem?" "That sounds like a good idea. There's so much that's a blank right now. For example, I have this unexplainable feeling of sadness in the back of my mind. Now then, what kind of guessing game should we play?" Decim comes back with our drinks: "Here you are." "Thank you. Let's wait until we finish our drinks, Marceline." "I'm cool with that. We can just chill and talk for now." Decim speaks again after we begin to focus on our drinks. Marceline sucks the red out of her drink, expressing how delicious it is before actually downing the drink itself. I calmly drank the water. "I will now explain some things about your situation. This is important. Please pay close attention." "Situation? What's going on?!" "Yeah, what the glob is happening?" "Number 1: I'm afraid I cannot provide you any information regarding your current location. Number 2: now that you are here, we shall have you play a game." "Did you say a game?" "Hehe, some kind of guessing game?!" "Number 3: as to game selection, it will be decided upon by roulette."
A roulette machine appears. "Number 4: the stakes of the game are very high. Your lives in fact." "Lives?! I'm already dead!" "And I'm immortal!" "And number 5. Don't worry, this is the final point. Until the game is complete, you cannot leave." "Even if that's true, that doesn't change the fact that I'm amongst the undead! You can't kill what's already been killed!" "Yeah, your vibe is honestly kind of weird. I'm not sure if I like it or not anymore. What if we don't want to play your game?" "I highly advise against it. As I outlined in both points 2 and 4, we would like you to play a game. The stakes are your lives. I cannot say more than that. *places a button before me* If I could have you press this button please, the roulette will begin and the game will be decided." I press it. It's chosen at random but before Decim could even explain the game after the bar transforms into a space for it, someone else arrives. She has light skin, light blue long and styled hair, some jewelry accessories, painted fingernails, easy to miss eyebrows, purple eyes, black pants, a white buttoned top with puffy sleeves, slightly oversized black suspenders, and a red ribbon. Oh and she just like Decim has a cross of some kind in her irises. Decim stares at her: "Nona, greetings." "Hey Decim! I came here to tell you something important. Do you remember getting any memories from these 2 prior to their arrival?" "No, I do not now that I think about it. Is there something strange going on?" "You finally realized it. Too bad it required me to come here. Oh well. These 2's souls were supposed to pass on before now but due to changes in them, that didn't occur. In fact, neither of them should be here to begin with."
"What do you mean, Nona? I don't understand." "Decim, to put it simply, that knight really is already dead and the vampire is also part demon as she mentioned earlier which means she didn't die when she would have died. There's been another increase in deaths. Now, 4 on average are dying a second." I sigh: "So what brought us here anyway? I remember what this place is now. The Quindecim. And you 2 are arbiters. You pass judgement on the souls who come to this realm and send them to either the void or reincarnation." Nona smirks: "Not a bad deduction by a human being. Actually, I'm very well aware how you knew all of that already. While your and Marceline's memories weren't transported into Decim here, I still took a look anyway. Your memories should be returning now more and more. As much as I'd like to stick around, I have some important business to take care of. After all, that man who Giniti had sent to the void in place of that famous pop star or whoever he was was revived. Was his name L or something? I can't remember. Either way, a lot of humans are getting killed because of him." With that, she leaves. Decim speaks: "I don't really know what to say at this point. Nothing like this has ever happened before. My apologies. It seems there won't be need for a game after all. *the bar returns to normal* The elevators will take your souls back to your real bodies. You can leave at any time but if you could indulge me again, I'd like to know more about what's going on if you're willing to share assuming you recall it all."
I nod: "My memories came back when Nona mentioned L. So Light Yagami has been revived after all. He's the one killing people. But this time, he isn't just killing humans.. He killed all of my comrades back in Mii World." Marceline turns to me: "Are you okay? That must have been- Wait, is he the person behind the deaths of all my friends in Ooo too? Even Bonnibel is dead!" Decim hugs both of us: "I can only imagine how difficult it is to go through something like that. My heart goes out to you. I respect both of you. It seems you've lived full lives although you both clearly haven't reached your full potentials yet." I nod: "Thank you, Decim. But right now, we have to go back to our worlds and rendezvous with any others who were not killed by Light's Death Note." "I see. But before you go, please share with me more information. I can't help but find myself curious and concerned about your situation. And it feels as though someone tried to kill me as well. However, arbiters cannot live or die, that's one of the rules that we arbiters are bound by." We share more information with Decim. He nods in satisfaction: "I see. So that's what has happened. Please do be careful out there, I have to continue with my duties here. Please step into the elevators when you are ready and you will be returned to your bodies." We both nod. Marceline speaks: "As much as I'd like to hang around here for a bit longer, we have a huge problem to deal with. If all of our friends from Mii World and Ooo are dead, that means there must be even more of our friends dead now from beyond those places." "I agree. I foresaw the deaths of every BRAINS member who could be killed. If I'm right, we're in deep trouble. I may seem calm but that's just a mask I'm putting up to communicate more clearly."
A couple minutes later, we enter the elevators we originally came in to the Quindecim. With both of us settled in, Decim speaks: "Best of luck on your journey" before bowing as the elevator doors close. Before I knew it, I was back in my body. "Damn it. I can't sense any high power levels anymore. They're really all dead. I'm going to try contacting the others again." I try but I can't get a hold of anyone. I teleport to Tomapie only to find the dead bodies of its inhabitants. A piece of Ovenzilla appears: "Swiftdrawer, we're the only BRAINS members in this universe who weren't killed just now." I let all of my emotions out at once and just sob, scream, and all that for several minutes. Once I've calmed down, I say: "We need to find whoever's left and get in contact with Marceline, the only survivor from the Land of Ooo. Actually, I think Sweet Pea survived too but they're the only ones. I already did some thinking while I was working at my job in my home universe to figure out who would have survived being killed by the Death Note. That will help make things easier. Orochimaru, all robots, and Yui are amongst those we have to find. They should have evaded death even though it's clear someone upgraded the power of Light's Death Note to target various universes and species of life forms. I am filled with so much pain and despair but we can't give up on the fight." We quickly meet up with Marceline before teaming up to find whoever is left. Every single Justice League member died. No survivors in the MHA universe either. The Avengers? All dead. We ended up finding the following still alive: Techmo, Skips, the Guardians Of Eternal Youth, Pops, Death, the Ignis, any other immortals from the Regular Show universe, Hit(because of Time Skip), Majin Buu, every single RCT3 universe inhabitant affiliated with BRAINS, Bubbletown's robots, Dr. K's robots, Aeos, Chronoa, TokiToki, Fu, Hearts, Dr. Hedo's androids, and more.
A far cry from the full size of BRAINS but better than I thought. We end up meeting up in the Death Note universe. "It sounds like a really bad idea to meet up here. It isn't just Light we have to worry about. There's all those OSW villains and pawns around too. Damn Don Thousand. Of course he revived Light and gave him an upgraded Death Note." Hit speaks: "Light Yagami, huh? I should have taken the job to eliminate him some time ago.." Fu replies: "Don't worry about that. We are still a formidable force. Just not nearly as formidable as we previously were. This is proving to be an interesting experiment." Pearl sighs: "It's a good thing the Death Note doesn't affect us gems because we're not organic life forms." Whis speaks: "I suggest we get to the point." Hearts grins: "I wouldn't mind facing the enemy head on. I've been itching for a good fight after all." I reply: "We can't underestimate them. It's like a whole gang of bad has shown up. 'Happy' birthday to me. Most of our comrades are dead and I get the feeling that OSW intends on invading all of our universes at the same time soon. We are in a really tight position." Fu smirks: "That's why I have been working on something. With the Universe Tree destroyed twice now and my and Hearts joining BRAINS, I've done some interesting thinking. I have determined that it would be for the best to revive the Universe Seed and have you take it in, Hearts." "You want me to have that much power again?" "It will be yet another interesting experiment. With that kind of power, you should be able to take on multiple villains at once and kill them if necessary. The Universe Seed is ready. Are you, Hearts?" "Why wouldn't I be? I was ready from the moment you suggested it."
"Very well. Let the test of this new Universe Seed begin!" The seed is summoned and merged with Hearts who transforms as a result. He laughs: "We will free this universe of Kira!" Death speaks up: "Unfortunately, I'm having trouble bringing back the dead from my universe." Marceline replies: "Dude, what if you just at the very least brought back some of the people from this universe instead?" "I should be able to do that. But who do you suppose I should revive? This isn't something I can just do as much as I'd like, you know?" I think for a moment: "It's clear the stakes of this battle as well as the goals are very different. You need to revive L, Mello, Near, and the others who have gotten in Light's way. I'm not nearly strong enough to take on any of the villains who have come to this universe. It would be best if I helped search for ways to bring back our fallen comrades. Or helped defend other universes. We are shorthanded right now. It's a huge problem." Death replies: "That won't be too difficult. I have the strangest feeling that they'll be the only people I will be able to resurrect from the dead today." And with that, Near, L, Mello, and the others soon appear: revived from the dead. L has light skin, black hair, dead/dazed looking black eyes due to the shadows below them, blue jeans, and a long sleeved white shirt. Near has light skin, gray eyes, short platinum blonde hair, pajamas (pants are light blue, shirt is white), and a short stature.
Mello has tan skin, orange hair that screams 80s girl hairstyle, blue eyes, a large scar, dark leather clothes, and a unique belt with a gun attached. Soichiro Yagami is Light's father. He wears formal western clothing, a mustache, short neatly combed graying black hair, light skin, and gray eyes. Aiber is a professional conman who has helped L and the other members of the (former) Japanese Task Force. He has brushed back shoulder length blonde hair, light blue eyes, light skin, a suit and black coat, and handsome face. Wedy is a pro cat burglar with shoulder length blonde hair, a curvy figure, sunglasses, red lipstick, light skin, tops that leave the shoulders visible, and long black leather pants. Watari, formerly L's butler and founder of Wammy's House which is behind some of the greatest minds in this universe. He has white hair, gray eyes, light skin, a black tuxedo, black hat, and glasses. Shuichi Aizawa has light skin, black hair(short crop), dark brown eyes, facial hair, and a simple outfit. Hideki Ide has short black hair, light colored eyes, light skin, a green blazer with a red tie and white shirt beneath, and no eyebrows. Touta Matsuda has light skin, black hair, brown eyes, and a regular official outfit. There's more people who have opposed Light actively but these are most of the major ones. L looks around: "I see. So I've returned from death. How interesting." Pandor speaks: "I apologize for interrupting but there is no time for your emotional reactions. Light is alive once again and now, he must be stopped once again."
Matsuda asks: "Who are you?" "I am Pandor. An AI created by Revolver." Near hmms: "An AI, huh? That's very interesting. Tell me. What else do you know about Light Yagami? And who are the others here as well?" Introductions and explanations are done. With that settled, things seem to be fine now. We all collaborate on making a plan. I comment to the police members of the Japanese Task Force: "In all honesty, I despise cops but we share common interests and you guys seem to be actually good people. So let's work together and do our best." 30 minutes later, Eggman appears laughing: "You fools! You should have moved your little meeting somewhere else! But now, I have located all of you for Light Yagami on Don Thousand's orders! You're going to get it now! I'll start things off by blasting all your robots to bits with my new Egg Carrier 9! Hahahaha! Say- Arg!" Eggman begins dying out of nowhere. He struggles until he dies right before our eyes. Light appears in the sky while flying somehow. He laughs: "Welcome to the new world where I, Kira reign as god!"With him, 4 others are present. Misa has a slender build, long straight golden hair in pigtails, red eyes due to Shinigami Eyes, light skin, lipstick, bright red fingernails, cross jewelry, and a gothic style outfit. She's a famous actress and model. Teru Mikami(criminal prosecutor) has shoulder length black hair, glasses, light skin, red eyes due to Shinigami Eyes, and a black trench coat over a business suit. Rem, the shinigami who gave Misa a Death Note as well as the Shinigami Eyes the first time by halving Misa's lifespan has a skeletal appearance, dark markings and white hair with purple shades, and yellow reptile eyes. Finally, Kiyomi Takada. She has short black hair swept to the right, dark gray eyes, formal clothing, a blouse that don't conceal the shoulders, and long pants.
Becoe and Decoe show up. Becoe exclaims: "How dare you kill the Doctor!" "What he said!" Light laughs: "He was of no use to me any longer. Mikami, why don't you take care of everyone else I no longer have need of?" Mikami pulls out a Death Note and frantically writes in it while saying: "Delete! Delete! Delete! Delete! Delete! Delete!" Just then, Frieza appears and prepares to blast Light: "I know what you're doing and I don't appreciate-" Frieza gets killed. "Delete! Delete! Delete! Delete!" L widens his eyes uncharacteristically: "Just what is going on?!" Light speaks again: "I am the god of the new world! I AM KIRA! I AM JUSTICE! Not even the Gods of Destruction can stop me! Killing them all was so easy when the Kaioshin are so easy to kill! When they died, so did the Gods of Destruction! Hahahaha! I know all about the multiverse! I will punish all those who do evil! And anyone who stands in my way will die too! My word is law!" He then looks at us and exclaims: "Impossible! How are all of you still alive? I thought I killed each and every single one of you! Your names! They're all there in MY Death Note! WHY DIDNT IT WORK?!" I fly into the air and reply: "Kira. Light, what you're doing is wrong. I don't oppose the fact you're having Mikami kill off all of the villains. However, killing every single person who does wrong or opposes you without giving them a chance to change for the better isn't right. You are willing to use and kill anyone who served your purposes. Even people who don't deserve to die." "Don't you dare lecture me about what's right and what's wrong! *activates Shinigami Eyes* Wait! You're supposed to be dead! Why aren't you dead?!" "I'm already dead." "That can't be! No! I refuse to believe the words of a knight in shining armor like you! You're lying! You're lying!" "I don't know how you got these Shinigami Eyes of yours. But why don't you use them to see more of what's different with me?" "Don't tell me what to do! ..How is this?! I can't see the day you're supposed to die! What's going on?"
"I told you. I'm already dead!" "That's utter nonsense! Zombies aren't real! You only live once! *regains composure* But you know what? It doesn't matter because I killed most of the BRAINS Collective and now that I have begun killing villains too, I can begin the next stage of my plan! I'm going to kill another god! Just watch and you'll see it first hand! Oh, Don Thousand! I renounce my alliance with you! I no longer serve you! As Kira, I declare that you must die!" Don Thousands appears and glares at Light: "Foolish mortal, you are no god. I gave you back everything you lost and more. You are in my debt and as long as you are, you will never be able to defy me." "Oh yeah?! Watch me write your name down in my Death Note! Even sentient AI have been killed by me or my subordinates! You gave me back so much but now, I'm going to use it to destroy you and kill you off for good! You are pure evil! You must die!" Don Thousand just laughs at Light as we all watch Light write his name in his Death Note. Ryuk chuckles: "I knew helping Light was going to be the most interesting of things for me to do!" Before our eyes, Don Thousand just starts dying seconds later: "Mortal! How dare you betray me and try to kill me! I am actually not dying! It only looks that way to you mortals. It won't be long now until I destroy all of you together." "Delete! Delete! Don Thousand, prepared to be deleted! If Kira can't kill you, I'll cast his judgement on you myself!" Misa, Rem, and Takada also write down Don Thousand's name in their own Death Note. There's apparently enough of them around now for all of them to use at the same time instead of having to share Death Notes. Light laughs again: "Don Thousand! You fool! You have made a grave mistake by bringing me back and trusting me to help you conquer the multiverse! I never liked you for a second! I outsmarted Rem in the past. Of course I was able to outsmart you too!"
Don Thousand just laughs again: "You think that Death Note I gave you has the power to kill me?" "It killed other gods! Of course it can kill you!" "Naive mortal. You have not managed to kill a single one of my subordinates. The Frieza you killed was only a weak clone I created using a Barian crystal." L interrupts: "This situation is far more interesting than it was explained to be." "Stay out of it, Ryuzaki!" Don Thousand and Light end up staring at each other, daring one another to make a move or at least say something. But nothing happens. They just keep staring. That was until Don Thousand clenched his chest while screaming in pain. Light laughs: "If it's true I only killed clones of your subordinates, that means I can take over command over your real subordinates from you by killing you! You're actually dying! Ahahahaha! This is what you get for trusting Kira!" Don Thousand just laughs again: "You have outplayed me. However, you will soon learn to regret what you've done. I am a being a chaos, a god of my own world and you are a weak mortal posing as the god of this world. When a mortal defies a god, they eventually pay the price for doing so even if it takes a very long time." "What?! You aren't concerned over your own death?!" "In due time, you will understand as you once again take your last breath." Not long after that, Don Thousand's body dissolves into dust. Light laughs: "I have done it! I have killed Don Thousand! Hear me, One Supreme World. Bow down to Kira, your new leader or be destroyed! Hahahahaha!"
He turns towards all of us: "Now, I will eliminate all of you as planned! All of you should be gone but here you are, silently standing in defiance of me! All of you will perish soon enough!" The villains of OSW who are still alive appear to face him and his subordinates before any of us could reply. Mr. Heartland smiles: "Now now, Light Yagami. Don't get too excited just yet! After all, you may have killed our supreme overlord but that doesn't mean you'll be able to kill us so easily! After all, Don Thousand let himself die! But we? We won't let ourselves die! He will rise again stronger than ever before to destroy you and take the power of the Death Notes away from you and your little servants! Now, BRAINS Collecfive, you just sit back and watch as we crush Light and bring him under our control for the time being!" Hearts tries to get in on the action but Baby appears with Kamioren to stop him. Kamioren is a Tuffle fusion with a white body featuring some red and blue as well as blue eyes and an interestingly shaped head. The two easily stop Hearts from interfering with some kind of barrier. Seeing this, I draw my sword: "We have reason to bring down Light too! You won't stop us! I may not be nearly as strong as Hearts is but still.. I intend on breaking your barrier!" Baby laughs: "Good luck with that! With my allegiance to One Supreme World made official, I am more powerful than ever before! Hahahahaha!" I fail to break the barrier with my sword despite giving it my all. I back up: "Guess I have no choice but to watch what happens." But then, a piece of Ovenzilla comes to me: "Swiftdrawer, Mii World is currently being invaded by OSW." "I saw that coming.. Okay then.. No other choice. I have to do something about that. Comrades, I'll need help."
But then, Ovenzilla says: "There's more. Every single universe any of us here is from except for your original universe is also under attack." "Damn it. I'll have to defend Mii World by myself! How will I even pull that off? I can't do anything here. Guess there's no other choice." "I will divide myself evenly to help all of the universes including Mii World's. You won't fight alone." "Thank you. I needed to hear that. I guess I'll have to go back there then. This is going to take everything I have." I teleport back to Mii World or more specifically, the skies above it. I float in the air using my Ki which isn't nearly as draining as flying surprisingly. It doesn't take long for me to see the enemies all coming down to invade. I draw my sword: "Damn it, I hope part of Ovenzilla gets here soon." Right as I say that, part of Ovenzilla does show up as does Abstractoa who immediately speaks: "Swiftdrawer, I have sent a clone of myself to assist you in the battle. I will help to the degree necessary to ensure you are able to win in the end. Light Yagami has merged himself with a piece of Don Thousand that broke off before his death as well as his Death Note. With all of that power in his hands, he has begun to crush Don Thousand's subordinates. Guardians from the Citadel attempted to take him away for committing the cosmic crime of killing Prismo. They have been destroyed." "Damn it, this entire situation just keeps getting worse, doesn't it? Nevermind that, I must fight!" Ovenzilla speaks: "Swiftdrawer, you are at your best on the ground. We'll fight here. You must return to the ground to fight enemies from there." "I see. Then that's exactly what I shall do." I teleport to Greenhorne Village and prepare for the enemy forces set to land in Mii World.
Additionally, I choose to lure all of them towards me by drawing as much attention to myself as possible even though I hate the idea of drawing so much attention to myself. It was a spectacle. But it worked. Soon, I had the leader of the invasion force coming straight at me: One For All. He laughs: "Foolish! Underneath that armor of yours, you're nothing more than a pathetic weakling who tries to look and act strong by wearing armor. I will kill you and take all of your powers. After that, this world will fall to One Supreme World." "You think I'm weak huh? Do you not understand what a knight is?" I stand my ground against a series of punches made by One For All who has apparently had his body fully rejuvenated from its long largely crippled state. "Oh? You can take my punches at this level? I'm impressed. But against my full power, you're only destined to be completely destroyed. Now that I no longer need Tomura Shigaraki's body for myself, I am perfectly capable of crushing your armor with a single punch." "I won't allow you to hurt the people of this world." "So naive. My soldiers are advancing quickly. You won't be able to hold them off while also fighting against me." "Maybe so but I will still do my damn best to beat the odds. I owe it to the people especially those who have helped me continue on up to this point. I'm not weak. *tanks tougher punches* I'm flawed, imperfect, and sometimes a bit unstable or worse. Still, I am a knight. I vowed to protect the people as well as space-time and the multiverse. That's exactly what I'll keep doing for eternity or until I am unable to anymore. He laughs as he intensifies his punches: "If I were still young, I'd admire your foolish attitude. You aren't like many other heroes are, I will give you that. But in the end, everything you have ever done is pointless and has no real meaning. When this is over, you will be bound to an afterlife from which there's no escape. You are holding well against my attacks. You haven't moved an inch. But that won't mean anything soon enough. You are only stalling your own fate." "Stop underestimating me. As long as you keep doing that, there's no way you will be able to defeat me! I'll say it again. I'm a knight! I raise my sword to fight those who dare harm the innocent, I don my armor to be a hard to break shield for others. Even if I lose to you and your army, I won't go down with a fight! Witness my strength paired with my other attributes! If you want this world, you're going to have to tear through my body first! Haaaaa! Get ready because now, it's my turn!" With that, I pull out my sword from its scabbard and remain standing in place. "Great Infernal Tornado Slash!" The attack does nothing to AFO. He laughs: "You think such a feeble attack will be enough to stop me or my army? You really are foolish! Let me show you real power!" He uses many quirks at once to become a much more dangerous opponent to deal with. His subordinates are coming to join up with him. Now is the time for me to do something about all of this. I remain standing in place, my armor too powerful and heavy to be so easily moved by AFO's large collection of quirks and restored to its fullest vitality body. "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 30! Continuous Drawing Destruction: 10! Continuous Drawing Devastation: 15! Anatomical Disruption! Shadow Hurricane!" I fire off attack after attack. The villain wasn't expecting this. I wiped out a lot of enemies before they even knew what hit them. AFO finally begins taking me seriously: "I see you are much stronger than I expected you to be. Very well. I will put an end to you with my true power."
"We'll see about that! I will show you what a knight can really do! Come at me with everything you have!" He grins and immediately begins moving so fast I'm forced to use my Sharingan in conjunction with the enemy outline system in my armor to fight back against him without moving my feet an inch in any direction. That combination allows me to counter every single one of his attacks but not without opposing force. I'm pushed back. My metal boots dig into the ground below me as small dents in its barriers and actual physical components begin to form. "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 50! This is nearly the height of my strength! Just you watch! Haaaaaa! Take this!" I catch him by surprise with the ferocity of my attack. Many more of his subordinates are completely destroyed. Behind me, the common people of Mii World suddenly run in, offering to me their aid. Joey of Greenhorne Village shouts: "Swiftdrawer! We won't let you fight alone down here!" "Thank you, everyone! I'll focus on AFO, please take care of his subordinates. I know you can all do it! Together we must fight!" AFO chuckles: "More foolish people trying to get in my way? Now, we can't have that, can we? Of course not. I will destroy all of here myself. Your attack failed to harm me just now, Swiftdrawer. Or should I say Adam *redacted*?" "You even know my full given name. Damn, you know a lot. However, that may be so but I'm not finished just yet! I will keep fighting you until one of us can't keep at it anymore! Take this! I'm going to do my best over and over again as you try and try to wear down my armor and get to my flesh, muscles, bones, and organs! This is what I live for! Doing what I can to make this damn existence that much more bearable! You're not the only one who's hard to defeat around here, All For One! Haaaaaaa! Haaaaaaaaaa!"
"Very well! Try to defeat me! Show me what a pitiful knight in the wrong era can do against me! It's a shame Deku and All Might have already perished. If I had my hands on One For All, I would be even more powerful." Our fight continues on for a while, we are unable to deal any crippling blows to each other. My armor continues to hold its own but I'm running out of strength. If this keeps up, I will collapse. He laughs at seeing my tiring state: "Swiftdrawer! It appears you aren't able to keep this up for much longer! I don't even find fighting you anymore to be entertaining. You can simply give up and make this all go away by allowing me to destroy you with a single attack." "I won't give up! No matter what!" "So be it! But can you keep yourself sane long enough to even just escape from me for the time being?!" "What do you mean?" "I will tell you. All of your friends that have been killed were necessary sacrifices. Now that they are dead, they are now loyal servants of Don Thousand. Our lord is currently being revived while Light seeks to destroy all of his enemies. Light will temporarily lead OSW soon enough but I am not concerned about that matter. Should he fall out of line, I will simply kill him myself." "What?!" He begins to provoke me more and more by insulting me, mocking my friends and everything I stand for, describing what my comrades are doing now that they've been revived as Don Thousand's pawns, and more. Normally, I make an effort to keep myself in check. If I get mad, I try to direct it to what is most reasonable while also criticizing my enemies. But this doesn't always work. I can easily put on a mask of calm and joyful content. I do it around my family while also harboring deep mixed feelings about them. But I snap. I snap so hard that my inner darkness takes me over along with the shard of The Shadow sealed in my pendant.
"AAAAAA! I'm going to kill you and watch in joy as you die while squirming, All For One! I'm tired of holding my feelings back! Prepare yourself for your own destruction! You won't be able to stop me now! I create you once again, Blood Demon Sword! Now with your power, I will consume all enemies and cast them into an eternity of pain and suffering!" I go berserk, killing many foes in my way as well as damaging the enemy. I keep going and going until I lose the rest of my strength. And with that, my inner darkness and that shard are pushed back from the drain all of that caused. Panting heavily, I state as AFO appears somewhat damaged with most of his forces now effectively wiped out' "I may have lost control until just now but now, you can see my resolve and strength right before your very eyes! I'm pushed to the very limits of my strength. The limits that my body can handle without self inflicted injury. And I simply refuse to stop here!" And so, at the risk of my body's physical condition, I begin fighting harder and putting everything on the line. AFO laughs: "You really believe you can defeat me?!" "Not exactly but I can at least wear you down enough to allow someone else too! But now, I'm going to not just fight with my defense and my strength! *equips BRAIN Blaster* Prepare to be made to fight longer than you ever expected! I won't give in to you! *activates Artist's Eye* Up until now, I have not used the power of imagination I possess. So that's what I must begin doing!" Our fight amps up as his subordinates keep being held back or even defeated by the people of Mii World. Some monsters arrive as backup to help the people.
Between sword attacks, laser blasts, dodges, other techniques, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Ki techniques, and Artist's Eye, I manage to keep putting up a good fight despite how much it hurts to even unleash a single attack. My muscles are sore beyond belief and yet, I still fight. I keep going with all that I have left, "I will do everything in my power to take you down, All For One!" But after 15 more minutes of fighting, I'm unable to keep going. My body fails on me. I collapse to the ground. My foe laughs: "It's over! You've managed to deal me severe damage. But that won't be enough to defeat me. I am far from defeated. But you. You have lost. It's over for you! Be destroyed!" I am unable to do anything against what's coming my way. I close my eyes: "This is it. The end. I only managed to keep AFO busy and deal some decent damage to him in the end. I gambled everything I could have. If my body hadn't collapsed when it did, the energy I need to keep it from rotting away would have been used up too. So this is how it ends for me, huh? This is the most optimal way to go other than old age." But then, something happens, preventing AFO from destroying my armor and body. Abstractoa steps in and blocks the attack: "Swiftdrawer, the sky front has been taken care of. I will now assist you to the extent necessary to end the battle here as well." Ovenzilla appears too and joins in: "I can handle All For One. Let's finish cooking these enemies to defeat. The situations elsewhere are getting worse. No one left in BRAINS at the moment can perform necromancy or resurrection techniques."
I reply: "Thank you both. Damn it. I just realized. I could have fought as a DHI connected to my virtual avatar instead. Actually, no, Kira would have killed the people responsible for maintaining the various virtual worlds we sometimes use to battle as our avatars. Im going to need to recover before I can fight again. It's going to take some time but I'm certain I'll recover somehow despite being a zombie." I teleport to a safe location far away and do what I can to recover on my own. I happen to be carrying around harmful substances that are toxic or even lethal to living creatures. As a zombie, they have the opposite effect. Drinking poison heals my body. It tastes horrible but still. After I recover, I teleport back to where I was to find AFO and any of his subordinates left retreating. Ovenzilla notices me: "I'm glad you're alright now. But this isn't over. The battles in the other universes have ended. But there are still 2 primary objectives. Bringing back our lost comrades who have allegedly been turned into Barians and stopping Light Yagami. We have learned that Light Yagami is now the leader of OSW." "I see. This is one of the most difficult situations we have ever been in. I use the fight to keep myself from breaking down over the deaths of our friends and comrades. It's what I need to keep doing right now because there's no time to just break down and cry somewhere right now. The entire multiverse is in truly grave danger. I don't think I can do much right now against Light. I want to find a way to bring back our lost friends." Hearts appears: "I heard everything. That's what some of the others are planning on doing as well. I will assist in this effort as well." Abstractoa nods: "I will provide protection for such a task. Mii World's Guardian should be able to help take care of the rest here in Mii World." Not that long later, myself and others are looking around in OSW's territory for our fallen comrades turned into Barians. But I don't see any. That's when several comrades appear but they're not on our side.
Pirate Blaster laughs: "Swiftdrawer! You've come at last! Join us! Arr! Become part of the most powerful crew in the entire multiverse!" "No! I will not! I refuse to change sides! Listen, you don't have to obey Don Thousand's influence! Come back to us! Return to BRAINS! When all of you died, I was filled with so much despair! And most of that despair remains. What has happened to you? Just how far have you been twisted?!" "Open your eyes and see the treasure that is in allowing the Barian power to take hold of you! If you refuse to join us, we'll make you join by force!" "Blaster! Please listen to me! Again, you don't have to do this. You're my friend. I miss you. I miss all of you. I need you. But not just me. BRAINS needs you. We need you to save the multiverse." My pleas fall on deaf ears. I sigh: "So be it. If I can't use my words to get you out of the brainwashing that has been inflicted onto you, then I must use my sword! Get ready because I won't hold anything back even if it means hurting all of you. I don't want to have to hurt any of you. But sometimes, life demands you hurt those around you to knock them to their senses. I hope this doesn't apply to my family. I hope I don't have to non physically inflict pain to get them to understand just how bad Covid really is. Right here and now, I must fight for who all of you truly are on the inside! Haaaaaa!" And so, I begin fighting my comrades. But it wasn't easy since it was me against all of them and we all know each other's moves. I was constantly being pushed back, mocked, and overpowered. I didn't give up for a moment because I knew that this was the only way I could get them back to their senses. "Damn it! This is so hard!" Carlos laughs: "What's wrong?! Are we too much for you? Hehehe! How sad!" "You are but I'm also too much for all of you because you haven't managed to beat me yet despite having many advantages!"
Artist's Eye ends up being one of the reasons I'm still able to keep fighting in the battle. It hurts to be fighting some of my closest friends but I have no other choice right now. I keep going and going, doing my best to win and hold on long enough to even do that. "Damn it! Haaaaaaaa!" After some time, I find myself unsure of why I'm still able to keep going. That's when I notice the Supreme Kais of Time. "Aeos. Chronoa. Why are you helping me specifically?" Aeos smirks: "You were the easiest to get to from where we were. That's all." "I see. Good because I don't want to be treated like a hero everybody looks up to and respects. I hate attention." Dominic yawns: "I never knew you could be such a nap causation until Don Thousand revived me onto his side! Prepare to be atomized!" The fight goes on for a while. In the end, with the help of the Kais as well as Hit and Fu who have also chosen to join in, all of them are completely defeated. Dominic yawns: "So I die again. What a nap causation. A truly tiring one." I widen my eyes: "Not again.." Barla smiles: "It's okay, Swiftdrawer. All of you managed to free us from Don Thousand's control. We'll die again as ourselves and be at peace with that. We can't help you anymore. It's up to all of you and the rest of what remains of BRAINS now. You can do it. Hell yeah!" "..Not again.. I don't know how we can do this without you with Don Thousand set to be resurrected.." Bray smiles too: "It will work out in an intriguing way. Never lose hope." Aeos adds: "It will work out. I will risk everything I have to make sure of it." My friends all die right then and there. I clench my fists: "Their deaths won't be in vain. I will help find a way to bring them back again. Not all of our comrades were turned into Barians. There's no way."
Fu nods: "I don't believe they all were either. Let's go perform a few experiments to try to bring them back. Experiment 1: the Super Dragon Balls." Hearts grins: "They should be interesting to gather. It's going to take a lot of effort and power time bring all 7 together in a single spot. I cannot revive anyone despite having the powers of the Universe Seed inside of me." We teleport to Universe 7 in search of one of Bulma's dragon radars to find the Super Dragon Balls with. They are each the size of a planet so theoretically as long as the devices aren't fried by the energy they give it, it shouldn't be too hard to track all 7 of them down. We do in fact find what we're looking for and begin searching for the balls. However, Goku Black appears and immediately goes Super Saiyan Rosè. "I won't allow you to do what you wish. I will kill all of you. Even you, Aeos and Chronoa. All of you must die for my Project Zero Mortals to succeed." Hearts laughs: "I already crushed an alternate version of you. I may be part of the BRAINS Collective now but I won't hesitate to do the same thing to you." "Hahahahaha! Mortals can't kill gods! I don't believe you! You won't stand a chance against me but for treating me the way you just did, you shall receive punishment in the name of divine justice." The two start battling each other over Earth. The skies immediately become chaotic. The rest of us teleport away, trusting Hearts to deal with Goku Black. It's obvious why Goku Black was willing to join OSW. He wants all mortals eliminated. When someone becomes a Barian, they're no longer a mortal. Anyway, we split up into groups of two. Aeos and Fu. Me and Chronoa. It takes a long time to find all of the Super Dragon Balls but once we do, all we had to do was somehow bring all of them together. Aeos and Chronoa took care of that themselves. With all 7 now brought together again, I sweat drop: "Now one of us has to do the silly chant to summon the dragon.." Aeos summons Super Shenron in the Language Of The Gods. Super Shenron appears before us and speaks about the wish.
Fu smirks: "The Super Dragon Balls can grant any wish. It's interesting that none of our enemies other than Zamasu and Goku Black have tried to use that to their advantage." I nod: "It took a lot of time and effort to find them all but we did it. Thank goodness. There's no time to waste. We have to wish for all BRAINS members who have been killed recently to be brought back the way they were when they died due to Light's Death Note." That wish is spoken to Super Shenron in that same language by Chronoa. But an unexpected twist occurs. As Super Shenron glows, something begins growing inside of the dragon. A chaotic energy that absorbs the glow of the dragon to become bigger. The Barian crest appears on the dragon's forehead, causing the, to be surrounded by the energy of Barian World. "What the hell is going on?!" It gets worse. Another evil energy manifests. Fu adjusts his glasses: "It seems even the Super Dragon Balls aren't immune to interference. The balls are being engulfed by darkness and chaos energy. We will not have the wish granted." The scales on the dragon begin falling off to reveal the bones. A familiar evil voice speaks: "I once thought the spawn of Death and Creation was the perfect vessel for my revenge on Finn and Jake. I was only aware of part of the multiverse my influence could reach. When my host's hand was cut off, that hand containing me fell through a portal into the multiverse and it was duplicated into each and every universe in my part of the multiverse. But now, I understand that a dragon capable of granting any wish is a far more suitable vessel for me. Before he died Don Thousand offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. In exchange for collaborating with him, he helped me obtain this body for my use and my use only. Now, I stand above even many of the very gods themselves. You cannot defeat me, you can only be killed by me in the end. I will exterminate all life in the multiverse some day. But for now, destroying all of you and getting my revenge will be enough for me."
"Damn you, Lich." "Hahahaha! You can't stop me! You can say that as much as you'd like but it won't change your situation. Even if you could successfully separate my spirit from this body, the Super Dragon Balls are now useless. I have completely consumed Super Shenron's consciousness. There's no way out of this for any of you. I have drained all of the dragon's power and added it to my own. I now am a god who cannot ever be defeated. You have no chance against me. I will now erase you from existence. Farewell, all of you." It's worth mentioning others ended up joining in to help search for the Super Dragon Balls. Ai sighs: "Glitch! We're doomed!" Just before The Lich could erase us from existence, something else happens. A astonishingly massive power level is sensed by all of us. Fu laughs: "Can it be?!" Hearts says: "The Omniking.." Grand Zeno appears(not the future one though) before us. He stares at The Lich, holds up his hands and says: "Bye bye!" The Lich is terrified: "Noooo! I can't erase anything! And you! Why did YOU have to come here?! My plans are ruined! Not again! I will return and when I do, I will destroy you first, Omniking!" The Lich is completely erased. Zeno then silently returns to his palace: vanishing without a trace in the process." And then, the Barian energy from before returns and engulfs the depleted Super Dragon Balls before forming itself into someone we all know way too well. Don Thousmad revives with a large size and more power than before. He laughs: "My plan worked. I intended to let Light Yagami to kill me in the first place so I could return even more powerful. For now, I won't interfere with him. His Death Note powers can still kill me again. Mortals and other gods, I will destroy all of you now. You do not interest me. You must be eliminated for you no longer serve any use to me."
He prepares to destroy us all. Aeos teleports all of us away to the Time Nest. I look around: "I don't think I've ever been here before." Chronoa speaks: "We'll be safe here. Just be careful around the Time Vault." Cubix replies: "Okay! But what now? What can we do?" Orochimaru chuckles: "We can form a strategy here. It seems OSW are more concerned about fully taking over the Death Note universe than trying to attack our universes again. I hear that because that universe is tied to a realm of Shinigami, that's proving to be more difficult than they expected. The Super Dragon Balls failed. We couldn't bring anyone back with them. However, my perfected Reanimation Jutsu will be of use. The only drawbacks are how much chakra it requires as well as the weaknesses in the bodies of those who are resurrected with it. I have tried everything I could to eliminate all drawbacks but I was unable to eliminate anymore than I had up to now. It's true it once seemed like my Reanimation Jutsu had been upgraded to the point it had no more drawbacks but that was never the case. Using it should prove very interesting." Pandor replies: "While it is unfortunate many of us forgot about your Reanimation Jutsu, why haven't you tried to use it yet? As an AI, I do not understand not taking action to use it when it is logical to use such a technique as soon as possible." "Up until now, I've been dealing with situation after situation I'm afraid. I just couldn't find the time to use it with everything that's been going on. However, I now have time to begin using it. I won't even need any bodies to sacrifice for this to work." He performs some hand signs to bring back Naruto with the Jutsu. He returns to us immediately.
Orochimaru smirks: "So it works here after all. Sadly, I can only revive so many with the chakra I still have left. The jutsu is not that easy to learn or teach. I cannot pass it on at this moment in time unless this Time Nest operates outside of time itself. We don't have time for much after all. If I recall, this realm does not but time does move slower outside compared to inside of here." Naruto speaks: "What? I'm alive again?!" Chronoa smiles: "You can thank Orochimaru for that." "Orochimaru, huh? I'm not surprised. What about the others?" I reply: "Most of our comrades are dead or have turned into Barians. An attempt to get all of them back as well as you with the Super Dragon Balls failed miserably. And now, Don Thousand wants to destroy all of us as soon as possible. He's probably already found out we're here and is coming right for us." The bird TokiToki panics: "Toki! Toki! Toki!" Yui speaks up: "You're right! I detect his energy signature getting stronger and stronger. We must do something." Hearts looks concerned for once: "Even I don't have the power to defeat him." Fu nods: "I am the same way. This is a situation of great concern." Tsunade is revived. She says: "I have watched this situation from the afterlife. We have to be ready to defend ourselves as well as this place." That's when Don Thousand does the unthinkable and "invites" himself into the Time Nest. At that moment, Light Yagami and the rest of the main OSW members appear in opposition to him. Light laughs: "So you really did revive after all? Too bad for you your subordinates now worship me, Kira! I will be the god of the multiverse!" L, Near, and co are teleported in by Ovenzilla. Ryuk cackles: "Now this really is interesting! I can't wait to see how this unfolds!" L sighs: "This just became more complicated. With Light aka Kira now in the position he's in, he could very well crush all of us even with Don Thousand standing in his way." Light grins: "Everyone who has to die is here! Perfect! Doh Thousand, you're first!"
Whis speaks: "This is not a suitable location for a 3 way battle." With a snap of his fingers, we're all teleported to a dead large planet that surprisingly has a decent atmosphere. To be continued..
