Chapter 17: Thanatos and Hypnos

Date: February 20th, 2024

And so, while most of my comrades quickly finish off the rest of our foes in the Cancer House, allowing Deathmask to finally calm down from a long and desperate rage, I just stand in place to let the shadows come to me. Before leaving, Ishizu told me to do just that so that's what I did. The Cancer House is somehow still standing and due to Deathmask's former collection of skulls that was inside the house before he was killed, there still lingered a faint darkness. That darkness was grown immensely in the fight we were all just involved in. The Millennium Trial and resulting Penalty Game only grew it even further. And now, the shadows that were once connected to me have taken up residence with the pre existing shadows who aren't bound to anyone. I speak: "Shadows of the Shadow Realm, for too long, we have been apart. I willingly accept you back into my very soul. It is time for us to reunite. I never expected to regain you but I know what Ishizu said was right. We just have to be together. We should have never been split apart. Things would be different if I hadn't been the one to give up my old powers during the battle against Gorganan and The Shadow. A lot of time has passed since that day. But now, let us come back together and become whole again. Once again, I openly welcome you back into my soul. I have managed to get a better and better grip on myself. I can control darkness to a certain degree without losing myself now that I've become a dark knight."

I can hear their whispers getting louder. They're coming for me. Soon, we will be reunited. I wait patiently and extend my arms out in opposite directions."Hear me shadows, I ask of you to return to me!" The shadows begin emerging from anywhere shadows are being cast in the Cancer House. The ominous aura of darkness in this place only makes it's easier for them to reach me. After a few more minutes, I begin feeling them entering me and/or embracing me. "I may wield the darkness to a limited extent while staying sane. But my nature isn't truly one of darkness. Nor is it just of an affinity for the wind. Like it or not, I'm too light to be a being of pure darkness. I do what I can to embrace my darkness in order to strengthen my light. I must now find out where I lie in terms of the 3 categories for the shadows: light, balance, and darkness. It isn't darkness but is it light or balance? My personality lies somewhere in chaotic good. My morals aren't of evil. Hmm. I don't know. I'll need someone else to figure that out for me. Oh well. For now, I must get going and worry about relearning shadow magic another time." I teleport to the Leo House: the next one. But what I see makes me stagger: "What the?! Everyone is unconscious and there's no enemies." I hear a laugh. A figure who literally looks like the embodiment of gray scale wearing armor and one hell of a long robe appears before me. It's Thanatos. Next to him is his younger brother Hypnos. Hypnos has golden shoulder length hair and eyes, and black, yellow, and gold armor as well as mostly white robes that still match the armor to some degree.

Thanatos laughs again: "It appears that someone else has foolishly decided to come here. Mortal.. You're among the dead, aren't you? I can see that you haven't been alive for quite some time. How interesting." I reply: "Thanatos. I know I can't stand against you or Hypnos. I don't see a point in trying to fight either of you when that will just lead to my own destruction. Therefore, I will make this simple. I know what you've done. My comrades have all been forced to sleep because of you two. Let them go. Let all of us have a fair crack against the both of you." "Undead mortal, you really are foolish. Look at your comrades again." I do so: "What the?! You've defeated all of them in battle. Your power level.. It's so high.." Thanatos smirks: "Now you see just how outmatched you are. Now surrender peacefully and Hypnos will put you to sleep quickly." "I refuse. Instead, I'm taking some of my comrades and then, I'm going to try waking them up in a safe location far away from here." I try to pick up one of my comrades only for Thanatos to lift me off the ground with ease: "You are as persistent as those humans who destroyed us in the past. Seiya especially. Now that we have our revenge at long last, I grow bored once again. Fight me, human. I will go easy on you so you can provide me with some entertainment. There's no gods out there to bail you and your comrades out anymore." "Again, I refuse. I will not fight you. Nothing I do will be able to defeat you. Or wait.. Maybe there is a way I can win." "Will you accept my challenge?" "You're a god but you have been killed once already. You can be killed again. Let's fight."

I recall how they were killed off by the efforts of Seiya and his friends as I ready myself and my sword. "Thanatos, my sword is a Divine Object due to being bathed in so much blood including my own blood. It took God Cloths to kill the two of you. With my sword a Divine Object, I should be able to kill you as you leave me no other choice. I don't want to kill. Neither of you have been willing to emphasize with humans despite the numerous times Athena's Saints have fought against you throughout the ages. Since you are willing to go easy on me, you are allowing me the chance to kill you. If you held nothing back, my armor as well as my body would be instantly pulverized back into solo atoms." Thanatos laughs again: "You really are entertaining, human. Now then, show me what you can do!" I draw my sword and perform a feint only to say: "You know something. There's another way I can approach fighting you. The DHI system has been consuming too much energy to be in widespread use in battles as of late despite the original plan. However, just me using it won't use up too much energy. It's time to link into the VRAINS." My physical body becomes unmoving as my mind transfers over to my virtual avatar logged into Link VRAINS. From there, I find a safe place to fall asleep in that avatar. Thus, I enter DHI state and have my solid holographic body get sent to the Leo House. Thanatos laughs again: "So you have another body? How amusing, it looks exactly the same! What's more: it feels very much alive!"

"Of course it does but now that I'm in it, I don't have to hold myself back that much until all the fighting destabilizes this form. Now then.. Enhance Armament!" I draw the virtual copy of my sword I worked with Lisbeth to make in Aincrad during the Infinityverse Incident. And using that move, it becomes engulfed in energy. I run at Thanatos with it. He laughs: "That's too weak even though I'm going easy on you!" "Oh yeah? Behold! Release Recollection! I have no time to hold anything back. Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 100! HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Thanatos is sent flying as the area around us is blown apart. A lot of Leo House gets damaged from my attack. Thanatos gets back up: "Human knight, student of the Guardian of Creativity and once granted favor and power by Ra, is that all you can do? I disabled my divine invulnerability and yet, your attack still did nothing." "Is this what you call going easy on me?!" "Haahahaha! That's right and you just proved yourself to be far too boring for me to play with in a battle. I am tired of you being far more boring than I expected! How can you say you have a way to kill gods when your attack did nothing to me?!" He suddenly gasps in pain: "What?! How did you do that?!" "It appears that my attack took some time to actually damage you despite the fact that the tornado made of a hundred flaming and windy ones has already dissipated."

"How entertaining! I'm going to make you pay for that deception! Terrible Providence!" He unleashes his signature huge ball of cosmo at me. I retaliate by activating my Artist's Eye and Sharingan(coded into my avatar's skill tree a couple months ago). I perform hand signs while also conjuring all kinds of things meant to force someone to be stuck in place. I then go All Clear to become made of just energy. His attack passes right through me and causes destruction. Using the Sharingan, I attempt to cast a genjitsu on Thanatos. With All Clear active, I don't need it to dodge any attacks. I even create some shadow clones to up my DPS and to try to confuse my opponent. However, everything I try is rendered meaningless by another Terrible Providence that knocks me back despite the fact I'm just a hologram right now. Thanatos laughs: "Is that all you can do?!" I'm knocked right out of All Clear and notice my avatar's hp fall to be displayed as red. "Damn it. Guess that's all I can really do against you. I could try my other skills but there would be no point. Actually, I still have some cards up my sleeve. *pulls out dagger and BRAIN Blaster* One of these two things might end up killing you." "Again. How amusing! You really think that will be enough to kill me?! Hahahaha! No ordinary weapon can kill me! No mortal armor can resist my divine power!" "Don't be so sure about that. Divine protections have been bestowed on these digital versions of my weapons. Heh. That means I can kill you with them though I'd rather have a peaceful resolution to all of this." Thanatos growls in frustration. "You continue to prove to be a nuisance! I should just destroy you already!"

He fires another Terrible Providence but I just simply dodge it. He gasps: "You dodged that?!" "Yes, I did. I've had a lot of time to get better with my reflexes. After all, being a dimension hopping adventurer as well as a humble dark knight as well as riding roller coasters has done wonders for my dodging skills. I recently endured hundreds of Gs of force on a roller coaster that is so intense and fast that no ordinary human could survive even just a tenth of a second on it. They'd be instantly killed by the sheer force of the coaster. That thing went around 100 times. I lost my lunch, breakfast, and dinner from the previous night after riding it. Enough talk. I have to kill you. Have a taste of this piece of sci fi technology!" I use my BRAIN Blaster to fire shot after shot at my foe. He dodges every single one. What he doesn't know is that it's all a diversion. And since Thanatos has lost his temper, he isn't paying attention to the fact that I'm getting closer to him and that Hypnos is trying to tell him to move away. "YOU DAMN PEST, HUMAN. WHY CANT YOU JUST BEGONE?! SO BE IT, I WILL DESTROY YOUR PHYSICAL BODY! THEN, YOU WILL CEASE TO BE JUST LIKE THAT!" He tries to aim right at my physical body but I have other plans. I take the hits as best as I can. It's a good thing I snuck in drinking some healing potions before I got out my dagger and blaster. Otherwise, my avatar would have died and my mind would have been trapped in the digital world forever. Despite the fact it hurts like hell, I just keep doing that until I can't anymore while also continuing to fire blast after blast.

Once I get close enough to Thanatos, I stab him with my dagger as many times as I can. He's even angrier now so he just can't think straight anymore. Perfect. This is my chance to really get some hits on him. Thanatos focuses on my current form again, finally noticing that I've managed to get so close to him. However, I catch him off guard by kicking him in the nether region which didn't appear to be armored. Gods can still feel pain at least sometimes and being kicked by an armored leg must hurt a lot when it gets in contact with a largely underprotected portion of the body. He briefly reacts to his pain before getting even angrier. His attacks become more sloppy, allowing me to more easily dodge them as I make sure I move when he moves in order to stab him with my dagger more and more times. I want to release so much of that lethal substance into Thanatos that even he can't stop it from reducing his body to goop. "Haaaaa! Take this! And this! And this!" "HUMAN, YOU CONTINUE TO BE AN ANNOYANCE I MUST CRUSH. DIE. DIEEEEEEE!" Once my hp goes back to red, I stop stabbing Thanatos and immediately retreat from him. Once I'm some distance away, I put away my weapons in favor of my shield. Thanatos laughs: "You think acting like a coward will save me from you?!" "No but what I just did will." "YOU!" He gets angry again and tries harder and harder to completely destroy me, forgetting about my actual physical body in the process. Now all I have to do is stall for time. I start drinking hp potion after hp potion after regaining the ability to go All Clear and doing so.

When that fails me, I just play the role of a tank with high agility as he uses his power to put on his full armor instantly. I use my shield and armor to block as much damage as possible while also making sure that my hp and gear stays in good enough shape. "YOU PEST, JUST DIE! I GROW TIRED OF YOU AND YOUR PLOYS! FACE ME AND YOUR DESTRUCTION AT LAST!" "Never! I'm going to kill you despite that armor you now wear or be completely destroyed after trying my best to do so! Haaaaaa!" I just keep on stalling for time until IT begins. After several minutes, it does in fact begin. Thanatos doubles over in pain and is forced to one knee on the ground: "WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?! IT WAS YOUR DOING. WASNT IT, HUMAN?" I don't answer. Instead, I just go right at him and stab him even more in small areas that the armor doesn't cover as the pain and what else is happening to his body leaves him unable to move at all. Before long, his body is turned to goop. But I knew things wouldn't be so simple. Not only is Hypnos still alive and waiting to get me when the time is right but there's no way a servant of Hades would go down so easily. I may have outsmarted him but that doesn't mean Thanatos is finished. I am proven right when Thanatos just appears out of nowhere like what just happened to him never happened to him. He laughs: "Foolish human, that body I was using was only a weak copy of my true body. I dare you to try to use the same tactic you used to destroy that one on this body." "Very well." I stab him over and over again and manage to even puncture his armor to stab him more. He just stands there, letting me stab him without any resistance. But after a couple minutes, I saw that nothing else was happening. With all the times I had stabbed him, the substance should have begun to hurt him.

And yet, it hasn't started doing that at all. The god of death laughs: "Hypnos, let's send this human to our world now. The World of Dreams." In an attempt to escape that fate, I wake up in Link VRAINS right away. But it's no use. Their powers cross dimensions and the digital multiverse to reach me, sending my consciousness straight to that Dreamworld of theirs. At first, I am able to move around freely but then, I suddenly find myself inside a dream of some kind. It's a nightmare. A nightmare of my mistakes, regrets, and fears. I see my mom die painfully over and over again spliced with the most painful moments of my own life. It's like every bit of suffering I've endured rushes towards me to drown me in a sea of sorrow and misery. My worst memories play one after another as creatures who are manifestations of all my fears appear. It's just a constant nightmare of agony that I can't possibly begin to fully describe in excruciating detail. I don't know how much time passed in there. All I knew was that I had completely lost my sense of time as well as my awareness about the purposes I have given to my life so far. It's like I forgot who I am in that nightmare barrage of horrible things. "Who I am? Why do I suffer? What's happening to me?! AAAAAA! MAKE IT STOP, MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!" But then, something happens. Some figures enter the nightmare. "Who are those figures?! They look so familiar.. But why can't I recall who they are?!" "This should be interesting. My my, I never expected to be helping others escape from nightmares generated by Hypnos."

I scream: "HEEEEELLLLP MEEEEEEE!" Without warning, the entire nightmare gets wiped out by the efforts of the figures. With it all over, I regain all of my memories. "Damn it. I lost sight of myself. Thank you for saving me everyone. I guess now we must help free anyone else trapped in a nightmare in this realm." That's exactly what we do. I contribute to the best of my abilities. I'm not some hero everyone looks up to who doesn't do their fair share just because many others are there to help them out. It takes a lot of time, struggle, and effort but eventually, we do free everyone else. Hypnos and Thanatos appear before us. Hypnos speaks: "Brother, you are far too impatient to take the lead on this. I will make the majority of the moves from now on. I will start by summoning the fallen Dream Gods who were killed by Pegasus Tenma and the others who interfered with us in the 18th century." Thanatos is not happy with that: "Hypnos, don't tell me what to do! I will do as I please to serve Lord Hades." "Don't be rash, brother. Hades gave us orders. You must have forgotten about them. He ordered I take the lead when we reached this point. We must obey his every command lest we wish to face punishment for disobeying him." Thanatos relents as Hypnos summons the 4 Dream Gods who were previously killed off. Fu chuckles: "Look at them. They're so weak compared to you two gods. Hearts, you may have abandoned your goal of killing the Omni-King but what do you say to killing these Dream Gods? It will only take the two of us." Hearts smiles: "This should be fun."

Hypnos is unconcerned: "This will keep some of you busy." Thanatos meanwhile is angry that the Dream Gods are being cast off as weak just like that. But he doesn't say anything. Hypnos turns to the rest of us as Hearts and Fu begin battling the 4 Dream Gods. "Now for the rest of you. The two of us will personally see to the permanent ends of all of you." Sailor Moon replies: "We'll see about that!" "Hahahaha! This will help me release my anger. Terrible Providence!" Snarky who joined us a little while back smirks: "You really think the same attack will work on all of us again? BRAIN Blaster time!" Most of us swap out our preferred weapons for the BRAIN Blasters we have. And without another word, we all fire at the 2 gods who became the servants of Hades for reasons I don't know of. Hypnos and Thanatos easily dodge only to encounter someone else who sort of quietly slipped into our group earlier. A yellow octopus man with really nice teacher clothing and a permanent smile. He's supposed to be dead but we brought him back to life. He laughs and starts attacking the gods at Mach 20 speed. Thanatos demands: "Who are you?! You're a human but you don't look like one." Kuro-Sensei from Assassination Classroom chuckles: "Hi there! My name is Kuro-sensei or at least, that's the name one of my former students gave to me. I must say, being alive again is an adventure I never saw coming. But here I am. Do keep in mind that things like bombs and nuclear warheads do not work on me." He easily dodges every single attack the twin gods are sending his way.

Sinon speaks: "He will keep the gods busy until they start taking him seriously. For now, we have to adjust our aims in order to directly hit both of them successfully." I nod: "It's a good thing we've gotten really good at coming up with plans and following through with them so quickly. Otherwise, we wouldn't be trying to pull off this latest attempt to stop them. But even if we kill them, they may just come right back. I killed Thanatos but he just came right back." Barla sighs: "We have to at least try. This is going to be one hell of an attack." Dominic nods too: "Even our foes are still made of molecules and atoms. Otherwise, Seiya and his friends wouldn't have been able to finish them off in Elysion. Because they are still made of such things, that means our BRAIN Blasters should theoretically be able to disintegrate them instantly if we change the settings on them to disintegrate their targets." And so, right as Kuro-sensei yells about the pain and how he can't keep this up any longer, we make our move. Thanatos laughs at seeing us all armed with the same exact weapon. We fire at will. Not even he or Hypnos were able to avoid all of the blasts. Some of them hit their mark and both gods were killed on the spot. Sinon breathes a sigh of relief: "We have to end this conflict by any means necessary without sacrificing innocent lives." Bray replies: "Indeed. We shall now use all means at our disposal with our ideals in mind and no limits to what we try."

And of course, Thanatos and Hypnos just come back to life in new bodies. Fu and Hearts return to us, having just killed those other gods by themselves. Fu adjusts his glasses again: "I see. So it appears that our main foes just revived themselves in new bodies. This is proving to be quite problematic. With that in mind, what can we do to stop them for good? Sealing them away would only be a temporary measure. They'd easily break through any seals given not even I was any match for Thanatos earlier." Kuro-sensei replies: "What weaknesses do they have? We have to use every weakness we can exploit. That very principle is what allowed my students to come up with so many clever ways to try to kill me in the Assassination Classroom. I'm well aware Thanatos is impatient and prone to getting angry but is there anything else that we can use?" Seiya nods: "They're overconfident. They believe we can't kill them for good again." "I see. I know there's a way to use that to our advantage but I can't quite think of it." Rem and Ryuk appear with Misa and Light. Ryuk laughs: "You know, Rem and I are shinigami. We're gods of death just like Thanatos. The God Cloths were what did Thanatos and Hypnos in for good originally until someone found a way to bring them back. A God Cloth has divine power. Rem and I could try writing their names in our Death Notes since they are created by us shinigami. Though I have to be honest. I never saw Rem being revived coming at all. Heh, that was quite something to watch."

Rem speaks: "Ryuk is right. It is worth attempting to kill them with our Death Notes. However, we must not do so while also defending those we care about. The only way to kill a shinigami is to make them fall in love with a human and save said human's life with the power of the Death Note. I do not desire to die again. But I am willing to if it means Misa lives but I don't want it to come to that." The 2 gods stare at us. Thanatos laughs: "I hope you're enjoying this brief mercy we're giving to you. It's really boring to be able to easily crush any opposition. Do as you wish to kill us again." Ryuk and Rem kill them using their Death Notes but they just keep coming back. Rainbow Dash exclaims: "Oh come on! How are we supposed to finish them off for good?! Not even the Death Notes are capable of pulling that off!" Twilight replies: "There has to be a way. I still do not like the prospect of killing any creature but sometimes, there's no other choice." Thanatos laughs: "It doesn't matter what you try. The only thing that could stop us is the God Cloths but you mortals can't just come into possession of some of those. The Gold Saints and Bronze Saints currently here could try to transform their cloths into God Cloths again but that's not easy as we saw for ourselves! And now that we're back, we won't let ourselves be killed by God Cloths ever again!" We are very much stumped. But the Saints just nod at each other and push themselves to the point their cloths became stunning God Cloths once again.

We watch as they still fail to get rid of Thanatos and Hypnos for good. Another Dimension does nothing. Aiolia's Lightning Plasma despite moving at light speed does nothing either. Naruto shouts as the gods just return back to life again: "What the hell?!" He tries to kill them by using everything he has to no avail despite Kyubbi being high level beings of enormous power and the awe of Sage Mode. I sigh: "We can just keep killing them over and over again but they'll come right back anyway. What can we do besides escaping, sealing them away, or killing them for eternity?" Goku goes Ultra Instinct. He kills them both but they come back seconds later. Thanatos laughs: "It's useless! There's just no possible way any of you could kill us!" Hypnos adds: "I do not object to allowing you mortals to try to kill us off for good again and again. It will be much more interesting than those 2 centuries we were sealed away." I sigh: "This realm is part of the Dreamverse but has its own rules and physics. Otherwise, we would be stuck in an endless battle of imagination with you two gods. So that's another way we can't end you for good." Fu laughs: "I might have an idea. You see, I created another Universe Seed in an attempt to grow a new universe successfully. Hypnos and Thanatos would provide more than enough nourishment for the tree." Hypnos replies: "The Universe Tree.. We heard all about that from Lord Hades."

Fu reveals a Universe Seed and shouts: "Universe Tree, use the essence of these two gods to create a whole new universe!" With a little tug from his immense power, the seed begins taking energy from the gods and using it to grow into a whole new universe. Fu laughs: "You know, creating a whole new universe normally takes a very very long time. But in this situation, it isn't going to take any longer than a few minutes with all of the nourishment you gods are willingly giving up without a fight because you believe there's no way we can kill you off for good. That's going to end up being your undoing!" Neither god responds. They just smirk as suddenly, the Universe Tree dies and the energy it took returns to them. Fu shrugs: "It was a long shot. Now I see that you both have also gained Cumber's evil Ki as well as Barian power and the Dark Factor except you choose not to use it to increase your own physical strengths." Heathcliff steps forward: "In Aincrad, I am an immortal object with total authority over the entire Cardinal System. By definition, I am a god of the game master type. I must see if my skills are able to finish them both off for good." He uses his sword, programming, and hacking skills against both gods but nothing happens. Those of us who can also hack try to do so as well with the assistance of Dominic's ability to somewhat alter reality itself.

But again, nothing happens. I shout: "Damn it! Nothing is working! We're running out of things to try! And there's nothing I can do to help with these attempts. This sucks." Goku then yells: "Everyone! Give me some of your Ki!" Goku forms a Spirit Bomb. It also does nothing. It kills Thanatos and Hypnos but they just come back to life. Barla states: "Damn. This is like Pmurt Nedib all over again. Dying and reviving over and over.. This situation is as hellish as it can really get.." I nod: "If it weren't for the fact that I took away his fragment of The Shadow and those of us who did fight him that day kept weakening him, we wouldn't have been able to kill him off for good. Taking the power of Thanatos and Hypnos has proven to be a pointless endeavor." Hit speaks: "I will try. I have little interest in the money I collect from hunting bounties anymore. Therefore, I have no issue attempting to eliminate these 2 gods for good." He uses an upgraded form of his Time Skip technique to try to kill them. By freezing time, it's possible that their divine energy could also freeze and thus be unable to protect them from whatever he tries. At this point, I've come to believe that the reason they won't stop coming back has something to do with their divine energy/cosmo. But Hit is unable to eliminate them permanently either. Atemu and the other item holders try to use a Penalty Game to rip their souls apart but even that doesn't work in the slightest. Bulma yells: "There's only one thing we can really try left! Fusing all of our powers into one by fusing together!" Vegeta scoffs: "I hate fusion! I don't want anything to do with it!"

Bulma threatens him. He relents and reluctantly agrees to be part of a fusion consisting of all of us. Fu laughs again: "Fusion, huh? You can count me in. This will also prove to be an interesting experiment." Through various means, we rapidly perform fusion after fusion until all of us have been fused into a being with a staggeringly high power level. Thanatos actually looks worried: "Such power from mortals.. Fused together no less? Impossible.." Hypnos stares: "Brother, it does not matter. We will just have revive once again." He was right. The fusion killed them over and over again but each time, they revived almost instantly. Eventually, the fusion runs out of time and splits back into all of us. I pant heavily as that ended up draining a lot of my energy. "Damn it. Even fusion failed. We've exhausted our options. We can't get rid of them for good." A familiar robotic voice is heard: "That may be so but that doesn't mean we can't stop them for eternity through other means without the help of our divine allies." It's Laser Battle 1. The ride has arrived with the other notable RCT3 inhabitants along with an invincible army of RCT3 peeps. Vegeta face palms: "You have got to be kidding me?! WE HAVE TO RELY ON THEM?! JUST LOOK AT MOST OF THEIR FACES!" Some of the peeps scream in excitement, showing their rather poor 3D character designs. Mayor Smythe speaks up: "It doesn't matter what you think of us. We're here to wrangle some evil gods for eternity if necessary. Return to Sanctuary, we'll keep Hypnos and Thanatos busy."

Vegeta fumes but is still among the first to leave the realm anyway. Thanatos laughs: "You think these strange looking creatures will be enough to keep us busy for eternity?! Think again!" He would come to regret those words. I just knew it. The peeps are armed with the inevitability of throwing up apparently, balloons, other items like inflatable hammers, pizza, ice cream, cookies, root beer, and sunscreen, the fact that they can survive unprotected hundreds of Gs of force, chainsaws, swords, guns, axes, and more. There were even a few dune buggies and water cannons in the mix. With that all said and done, I soon depart as well. Seiya shouts once everyone has made it out besides the RCT3 individuals: "We have to move! There's no time to stand around! We have to hurry up!" Shun adds: "That's right! I can see the Fire Clock from here! We were in that World of Dreams for a long time. Now, only 7 flames are lit!" Sinon speaks up: "Ya know, don't you find it strange that's it's already so dark out in this world? It's about midday now, right?" Mu widens his eyes: "It can't be.. The Greatest Eclipse.." We all look to the sky and see an eclipse with the Moon blocking the Sun more and more. Nagato exclaims: "We must hurry! Time is running out! It is indeed the Greatest Eclipse! Every single person on this planet will die if the Greatest Eclipse is allowed to be completed! This is all the doing of Hades.." We teleport to the Virgo House where Shaka of course is. And he's having a better time than anyone at defeating our foes.

He sees us as he continues to wipe out our foes: "Welcome, comrades. I know all there is to know about the current situation. Aid me here and I shall go with you to save this world sooner." And that's exactly what we do. But before we can safely leave the Virgo House, someone appears. A huge and immense killing intent could be felt even before they arrived. I wasn't expecting who we would end up facing at all. A cyborg Pmurt Nedib. A lot of us gasp, myself included. Yappa Yappa appears from another universe and exclaims: "Pmurt Nedib, you've returned once again?! I'll kill you!" Pmurt Nedib laughs: "It's good to see all of you inferior creatures. I'm going to kill all of you and then, I will once again become a god! In the name of America, you will all be easily killed at my hands!" I sweat heavily: "This is really bad. Why did HE have to come back? Furthermore, how did he even manage to return from the dead this time?!" He hears me: "You! I won't even say your name because the only name you deserve is no name because you are nothing just like the rest of you! I came back with the little power I still had left after the last time I was killed! I have come here to finally get everything I want including all of your heads and your sweet blood! That's right! I want to bathe in your blood and shower in your remains! I hate you all! I'm going to eradicate you filthy things off the face of the multiverse!" Yappa Yappa glares at him: "I want to make you scream! I'm going to kill you! It's going to be quick and I hope no one blames me for enjoying it!" I put a hand on his shoulder: "Yappa Yappa, settle down. We won't solve anything by seeking revenge. If we're going to fight and kill someone, it will be to stop them because they are scum worse than trash."

"..You're right. In that case.. Pmurt Nedib, I'm going to kill you and enjoy it while doing everything I can to stop you!" Our foe laughs: "You really think a creature like you have the right to even challenge me at this point?!" "Is it me or has Pmurt Nedib gotten even worse since we pummeled him in his home universe/timeline?" "Worse?! No, I've become better! I may have had nearly all my power taken away but that doesn't mean I won't be able to kill any of you sick freaks! You don't deserve anything but death and misery! After all, abominations like you are exactly the reason America is declining!" "Pegasus Meteor Punch!" "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 65!" "Great Horn!" "Starlight Extinction!" "Prepare to lose all of your senses!" "With the power of the Dark Factor and DogiDogi, you won't be long for this world, Pmurt Nedib!" "Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" "The Elements of Harmony, awaken!" "Shadows! Cast your Penalty Game on our foe!" "Supernova!" "Hell yeah! Time to bring him down again! Gamma Ray Laser!" "Miitopian Knight Barrage!" "Octuple Pirate's Plunder!" "Universal Pull!" "Striking Shadow Snake!" "Kaioken! Kamehameha!" "Masengo!" "Galick Gun!" "Aurora Execution!" "Lightning Plasma!" We all unleash our signature attacks against our foe. Pmurt Nedib gasps: "What?! How can this be?! How can you all be this much stronger than me?l I'm the only one worthy to be a true god! This can't be real! I will kill you all for this when I return once again! Just you wait, you creatures whose purpose should only to be serve me as obedient servants!"

He dies again. And with that, we move onto the Libra House where Dohko is having a lot of trouble against our foes. Several hours later, we finally managed to reach the Pope's Chambers after fighting through so many enemies such as some of the Overtakers, many Evil Stars, and Hell's 3 Judges. We are all pretty beat at this point. Suddenly, a portal opens as Hypnos and Thanatos continue to fight our RCT3 comrades. The portal causes their fight to spill over entirely into Sanctuary. Thanatos exclaims: "Damn you invincible human like creatures!" Some of the peeps respond with: "Yay!" "Yahoo!" "Wow!" or "Yeehaw!" But we all end up ignoring the fight and enter the Pope's Chambers. Pisces Aphrodite, the most beautiful of the Saint with his long mint green? hair, rose in mouth, lipstick, and more speaks: "Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience my deadly roses caused." Dohko smiles: "It's alright. It's the job of the Pisces Saint to keep the roses and healthy to defend against any enemies who dare attack Sanctuary. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have been able to make it here on time before all of the flames could go out. We have just under an hour now." And then, evil laughter is heard from all directions. Seiya shouts: "Who's there?! Show yourselves!" A familiar face who is called pineapple head by some walks out of the shadows that suddenly appeared first. Yami Marik. He laughs: "Fools, you have reached your final destination! It is here where all of you will be killed or sent to the Shadow Realm for eternity!" Marik confronts him: "You. You are no longer needed. You should have stayed where you were."

"Hahahaha! It's my weaker half! Good to see you haven't changed all the time! After my friends introduce themselves, I'll make sure to kill you once and for all this time! But first.. Hahahahaha! You're not going to enjoy this at all! Not only is time counting down to the completion of the Greatest Eclipse.. It is also counting down to the moment when all of your precious gods die! HAHAHAHAHA!" Anzu demands: "What the hell does that mean?!" "Oh, one of little Yugi's pathetic cheerleader friends.. I can't wait to torment you! But I'll answer your question because your reactions will be priceless and truly put a smile on my face! Right now, each of the gods has been transported to a location set up to kill him once the last flame on that clock tower over there runs out! Athena is going to be dropped into the Sun when time runs out! HAHAHAHAHA!" That's when the other villains reveal themselves. Yami Bakura laughs: "Ah, Yugi, the Pharaoh, and the others. It's been too long. I can't wait to take everything away from you and have Zorc destroy the world once I manage to resurrect him myself!" Ishizu replies: "Thief King, Spirit of The Millennium Ring, we will not allow you to get what you desire. You will find us all much harder to defeat than you expected us to be." Goku Black grins viciously: "You mortals are all going to die. I will rid the multiverse of mortals. Once all mortals are dead, there will only be a few gods and many puppets of gods who aren't gods but not mortals either. Project Zero Mortals will succeed." Frieza laughs: "Oh yes! This time, I will get revenge on those monkeys for certain!"

Nightmare Moon laughs as well: "Oh look, it's Twilight, her friends, and many others! This is going to be fun! Once all of you are dead, I will get my revenge as well on Celestia for trapping me in the Moon for a thousand years! Eternal night will soon cover this world in darkness as it will in Equestria too!" Yami Marik laughs once again: "Now do you see just what you're dealing with?! We'll kill all of you without mercy! Wait.. Hold on, someone else was supposed to join us.. Where is-" Dr. W appears with his white hair and aged but grumpy face plus lab coat and cybernetic left eye. He laughs: "Did you miss me? Janemba! Kill all of these fools! I no longer have need of them!" A red and black alien like android breaks through into the Pope's Chamber and transforms to the level of Super Saiyan 4. Janemba then attacks the other villains before hurting any of us. Goku Black demands while going to Rosè form: "Mortal, what's the meaning of this?!" Dr. W laughs madly: "By giving up my true power to Janemba, I have created the ultimate creature to take over the multiverse myself with! None of you will be able to defeat the new and improved Janemba!" Frieza blasts him, killing him instantly only for Janemba to suddenly start talking while continuing to rampage: "You think destroying my own body would kill me?! Think again! Now, Janemba is mine to fully control!" We end up reluctantly joining Dr. W in fighting the villains. He scoffs but laughs: "Fine! Go ahead! Help me crush these fools! But know this, all of you are next!" Frieza powers up to his Black form. I end up in a Yami No Game with Yami Marik and his followers against myself and some others after some time.

Arkana laughs. He is a black haired man dressed up in a colorful outfit that feels like a cross between a jester and a magician outfit with a masquerade style mask included. "You fools! You don't stand a chance in this ultimate game of Duel Monsters!" Seeker who is a normal looking white haired man who looks really good for his age laughs too: "I won't need Exodia to help my master crush you all!" I reply: "Just stop talking. It's my turn now. I draw! I'll begin with this. The spell card Knight's Call. It allows me to add a warrior type monster of my choice from my deck to my hand. Next, I begin my composition by setting the Pendulum Scale! In order to do so.." The Yami No Game style duel must have gone on forever but finally, it ended in our victory. The members of each side shared life points. Yami Marik laughs as he begins to vanish: "This isn't the last you'll see of me! When you least expect it, I will return to get what I desire at long last! And I won't need my useless servants to do it! Hahahahahaha!" Goku Black is cornered. Us duelists join those fighting him to finish him off: "How can this be?! You mortals should stand no chance against me! And yet, somehow, you are completely overpowering me.." A few minutes later, he is forced to retreat before he could be killed off. With him gone, it doesn't take long for Frieza and the other villains to retreat. They completely underestimated us. They must have thought Thanatos, Hypnos, Turles, Ozotto, and Saga would be enough to wear us down enough for them to easily destroy us all. But no. That's not what happened. Instead, they got themselves humiliated. I sigh: "Damn. This just keeps going on and on. What will happen next? I have no idea!"

The Pope's Chamber suddenly gets destroyed around us due to a fight of some kind. Hades and Poseidon are fighting. Someone rises out of the ground to stand in our way. "Halt, you shall not interfere in the matter concerning Lord Hades." Ikki staggers: "Pandora! But you-" Pandora has dark hair, purple? eyes, and a overall dark dress. She replies: "Phoenix Ikki. I have come here for another reason than just my warning. BRAINS Collective, you will hand over Shun. His body belongs to Hades after all." "Like hell I'll let you take my brother again! Phoenix Specter Punch!" Pandora avoids the attack: "Impressive. You've become much stronger than you were last time we met. But it's futile. Shun must come with me if you want to live any longer." "What the hell?!" Shaka frowns: "Her cosmo is far stronger than most cosmos I have encountered lately. This will not be easy." Scorpio Milo replies: "That may be so but I won't just stand here and let Pandora take one of our comrades away from us." He has long blue hair and eyes, light skin, a white cape, and of course, golden armor that reflects his constellation. He then adds: "Pandora, if you want Shun, you will have to defeat me first!" Pandora laughs: "Very well. Let's see what you can do! Now that I have been revived, I once again see that I must serve Lord Hades! I don't care what you think of me now, Ikki!" Goblin Slayer taps Milo: "Milo, it is not wise to face her alone. I researched her abilities. She is far more dangerous and cunning than any goblin. Even if that goblin happens to be a champion, lord, or shaman."

"If that's how you feel, I will accept your aid. Pandora's blood has already been restricted by my cosmo." Suddenly, Pandora uses her staff to hold both of them in place before firing energy blasts at all of us with her blasts. Ikki yells: "What the hell are you doing?! That's not an honorable way to fight!" She just laughs: "I was lying. I had no intention of fighting fair or one on one. If I only fought one of you, the rest of you could easily interfere in the fight Lord Hades is in and I cannot accept that." We all power up in response and get ready for a fight. Dr. W in Janemba's body shouts: "Don't forget about me, you fools!" Pandora laughs: "So you're the traitor I heard-" Ikki interrupts her: "Pandora. We don't have to fight like this. Don't you remember what you said to me when I was about to pass through Hyperspace?" "Yes I do and I do not care anymore." "What?! But that's just insane! Why don't you care?!" "I will protect Lord Hades with my life if I must." Dr. W growls: "Stop ignoring me! Normally, I'm calm and confident.. But now, you're getting on my nerves!" Pandora blasts him: "Ikki. We are done now. We are not friends. We are-" Dr. W uses Janemba's powers to hurt her badly. She is sent flying back but regenerates and starts beating him to a pulp with all kinds of attacks. "Damn it. I miscalculated my calculations about you, Pandora. Oh-" Hearts and Fu join in to kill him off for good. And so, Dr. W and Janemba die just like that. Pandora laughs at this turn of events only for Milo and Ikki to get free and use their attacks on her. "Scarlet Needle!" She is immobilized because she let her guard down. Bad move.

Ikki speaks again: "Please Pandora, care about how we interacted that day again. It doesn't have to be like this. We don't have to fight. Ikki. We do have to fight because we serve gods who are ancient and mortal enemies." Suddenly, a huge explosion knocks us all off our feet. Pandora exclaims: "What was that?!" That's when Super 17 and Perfect Cell show up, having decided to help Hades beat Poseidon. Pandora is very confused: "Why are they helping Lord Hades? Shouldn't they be taking over their universe?" Turles, apparently back from the dead shows up and laughs: "The battle there is a lost cause for our side. Oh and btw, I never was killed by those shadows, BRAINS Collective! It seems that Dr. Eggman's true final project proved to have some use to us after all. And to think, we would have more clones to use if it weren't for the fact he was killed." None of us are shocked anymore. We just expect the wildest twists to occur now after everything we've seen the past close to half a day. Sailor Mars replies: "What?! Why can't you take a hint and give up?!" Some more of our comrades appear. Turles eats one of his fruits only to die again. Ryuk laughs: "Looks like someone can't see shinigami. I wonder why.. His remaining lifespan has now been added to my own!" I just say: "Welp, this whole battle feels more and more like a fanfiction the more it goes on. What's next? Someone's going to show up with the Infinity Gauntlet to snap all of our enemies here out of existence?"

Iron Man wielding the Infinity Gauntlet appears and uses the Infinity Stones to erase all of the villains including Pandora without any warnings or whatever. Don Thousand comes to our location through one of his Barian portals: "It seems you mortals do not realize just how much power I have at my disposal." Somehow, while growing even stronger behind the scenes, he has gained the strength to destroy the Infinity Stones as he instantly defeats Iron Man in one hit and destroys the stones along with the gauntlet. And using his power, he restores all of our foes who were erased. After that, he restrains Poseidon, Hades, Cell, and Super 17. "Allies, cease your foolishness and listen to my words. Hades will get the souls of all life on Earth. Poseidon will rule a flooded world. If you cannot accept this arrangement, I will consider it a betrayal and I will remove you myself." Poseidon laughs: "That's something I can get behind." Hades says: "I can get behind that as long as I claim the lives of the living creatures on Earth with my Greatest Eclipse. But if Poseidon claims anymore lives, I won't oppose him for doing so any further than I already have." Cell and Super 17 just back off. Don Thousand silently and ominously leaves after corrupting the sky. Anzu shouts: "No! They're coming! The fake numbers! We have to do something."

Shadi replies: "Sadly, there is nothing we can do that won't lead to our premature deaths. If we try to stop those fake numbers, we will only let our enemies kill us off that much easier." I sigh again: "This just keeps getting harder and harder.." Pandora looks at the sky. Something clicks inside of her at that moment. "..I haven't been acting like myself.. I've rarely acted like myself for most of my life.. My emotions.. They betray Hades.." The villains move to surround us on all sides. Hades speaks: "Pandora, that's enough. I heard everything you just said. I know that you don't truly have loyalty towards me. I know what you did to betray me before this true body of mine was killed. Now, I will punish you before we kill all of these mortals at last." Hades increases his cosmo to a level that our respective auras and what have you are instantly suppressed. I literally can't move a muscle. The villain laughs: "I have restrained all of you. Now Pandora. It's time to die." Even the strongest of us are unable to do anything but watch as Pandora is killed for what she has done. In an attempt to appease him before he ends up killing her, she played a beautiful melody on her harp. But it doesn't help her. Hades still kills her without any struggle or hesitation. Hades turns towards the direction Shun is in: "Ah yes, my host in this era. I must once again take his body for my own." Before anyone can stop him, time suddenly stops as Aeos appears as the one responsible. She's grinning the way she did before Demigra interrupted her Super Space-Time Showdown Tournament.

This can't be good. On closer examination, I see a familiar M mark on her forehead, a Dark Dragon Ball attached to her body, the Barian symbol also on her forehead, and more. Hades nods to her: "Very good job. These mortals may be able to still see what we're doing but they can no longer move as long as time remains still. With no one able to stop me, I will gain greater power by taking control of Andromeda Shun once again! But this time, it's going to be done a little bit differently. Courtesy of that strange human Otis! I activate Fusion!" He transforms into a Barian humanoid with a Orichalcos style duel disk for some reason and plays the card on that disk, allowing him to fuse himself with Shun in the most unexpected way to gain control of someone. Kilobot once did something of the same concept to Cubix over Bubble Town. The resulting fusion doesn't look any different from the Shun we know and trust. His Andromeda Cloth is still the same even. But then, his hair turns red and his Cloth becomes a surplice with elements of the god's own surplice. Before long, his hair turns black, meaning that he has complete control over the fused body. Aeos resumes time and vanishes. Ikki yells: "SHUUUUUUNNNNNN!" Hades grins: "I think this body is quite nice! Now, I have the powers of the Andromeda Cloth as well as Shun's cosmo at my disposal. I even know everything he knows. This is exactly what I wanted. I will now absorb Pandora's body to take her powers too." After he does so, Ikki is ready to charge in blindly. Sinon yells: "This is worse than we could have ever imagined."

Asuna exclaims: "We have to fight! To save Shun and this entire universe! That fact won't change until we win." Kirito nods with a defiant expression: "We can worry about other things later. Right now, it's time to bring down all of these foes of ours." Cell smirks: "Goku, I want my revenge on you as well as your son. Where is Gohan?" Gohan makes an entrance by punching Perfect Cell while in Beast Mode. Cell turns around: "There you are. I'll kill you first. Not a bad power up but it's nothing compared to what Im able to do now that I've become even more perfect. Now, you could say this form of mine is Ultimate Perfect." I honestly didn't know who I should help fight. Super 17 doesn't speak. He just smirks until someone shouts: "I activate Defusion!" The spell card splits the villain up into the Android 17 from the GT era and the copy of him made in hell by Gero and Dr. Myuu. The copy, having no personality goes on a rampage before being killed by GT Android 17 with ease as some of us went over to help him. Now that that was over with, there's only 3 villains. I weigh my options and choose to help fight Hades. A couple minutes later, it's clear who's fighting who now. I run towards Hades with my sword in hand. It's too bad that I wasn't sent back to my avatar in Link VRAINS instead of my physical body after leaving the World of Dreams. Otherwise, I could have pulled a nice surprise attack at some point. Oh well. It's like Hades has hundreds of eyes. ..No, he actually does have that many eyes. Seiya exclaims: "What the hell?! Why are there so many eyes out of nowhere?!"

Hades laughs: "Notice anyone missing from your group?!" The body of Pegasus J Crawford is spotted motionless on the ground nearby. Sinon shoots our foe with Hecate before deducing: "So while we weren't looking, you killed the creator of Duel Monsters instantly and managed to fuse yourself with Thousand Eyes Idol at some point." "Impressive." We all then start attacking our foe. I create shadow clones to deal some more damage before activating both of my ocular abilities. Now, I can read our foe's movements better. I also conjure the Blood Demon Sword: "I don't think my usual moves will be enough to deal any damage! Even though cosmo and Ki are different, I can still guess the power level of Hades now to be shockingly high at this point. Haaaaaaaa! The condition for using this sword usually is to go insane. However, I don't think that's necessarily the case now that I've regained my power over the shadows. I do think it will drain me a lot still however. Hades! Take this! Piercing Darkness! Infinite Pain!" I use the sword for as long as I can to unleash a torrent of attacks one after another. I don't stop no matter how much my muscles hurt from the strain. My fingers are the first to hurt a lot despite the comfort of the leather glove portion of my metal gloves but I still keep going. Hades just laughs as all of us attack him. When the Blood Demon Sword vanishes again, I use Artist's Eye to create an accelerating roller coaster car to crash into him and use the moment to rest my muscles. The car barely does anything.

Until I have to close my left eye again from the strain(which didn't take long because I put enormous demand on it with my ability usage), I keep conjuring things to hurt him with. But none of them really do much to him. As a result, I'm eventually forced to change tactics as my left eye is forced shut. Hades laughs again: "I'm through toying with you mortals by letting you entertain me with your pitiful attacks! Nebula Chain!" He uses the chain to hit all of us hard one after another. My shadow clones are easily defeated. We are all sent back some distance. As I'm hit, I plant my boots to the floor and create friction against the force applied to me. With how heavy my armor is, I would have still gone back the least distance of those of us fighting Hades even if I didn't do that. Hades is amused at my actions: "How amusing human. You managed to resist my attack very well. But I wonder, how long can that pitiful armor of yours hold up? It's been heavily damaged from all your fights in this world so far. Pathetic mortal, I will put you in your place soon." "I cast Repair! *my armor is repaired* What were you saying about my armor?" "It doesn't matter to me what shape your armor is in. I will destroy it and you along with it." "We'll see about that." I drink a bunch of bottles of poison as quickly as possible before drinking some withering potions as well. With that done, I run at him: "You will let go of Shun one way or another! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 75!" Thanks to all of that withering potion, my exhaustion fades away instantly.

Hades laughs again only to be cut off by a Phoenix Specter Punch as even he was too distracted to notice Ikki recover and come at him from behind. As if that weren't enough, Hypnos is sent crashing into Hades with super powered up RCT3 peeps flying after him. Hades starts screaming as that punch takes effect. Hypnos recovers, ignores the fact he crashed into his master, and sent the RCT3 peeps back some distance but not too far since his fighting style isn't aggressive. I don't want to mess with those powered up peeps. No thanks. To be continued..
