The tarnished had been a great asset in Leda's quest to cull those who would threaten her master. However, he seemed to be growing disillusioned with Miquella's machinations. The castle was usually a tranquil place to rest. Between the loyal mages and the diligent knights of Mesmer, not many would dare to trifle with Ensis.
