Sherlock knows that when you're part of a jury, you have to decide a fate. That doesn't bother him. What does is the boredom. Sherlock has never been at good dealing with a lack of stimulus, or ignoring a convoluted murder. Cue legal shenanigans, boredom, awkward situations and all the inconveniences Jury Duty causes. But hey, at least someone's dead under mysterious circumstances.
