"Don't move or else I'll suffocate all of them!" said Vortex while motioning to the hostages, the cage of wind slowly closing in on them as she did so.
"You're not fast enough," said Max Girl while controlling the water that was covering the ground to ensnare Vortex before freezing her into a solid block of ice where she had been standing.
"Just how many powers do you have?!" asked Chew Bomb.
"More than even I know," said Max Girl.
"Then I'll just shut them all down!" said Chew Bomb while going to spit more gum out, but found a sheet of metal suddenly shutting his mouth close before the gum could leave.
"It's over," said Max Girl.
"Far from it," came a voice out of nowhere.
"Who are you?!" asked Max Girl.
"Call me Metallic," said a female robot that walked out of the darkness into the light of a sky light.
"Are you working with them?" asked Max Girl.
"They work for my father, the man who will change the world," said the robot before it released gas from its body.
"Wha… what is this?!" asked one of the hostages who had been too afraid to move and the gas filled the area around them, causing some people to cough.
"A present to start the new world with," said the robot before a flash of light blinded everyone.
"They got away," said Max Girl once the light vanished to reveal the four were gone without any trace of where they had gone
"Police!" yelled some officers as they stormed into the area with weapons drawn.
"I'll leave them to you then," said Max Girl before vanishing into the shadows.
"Just how does she do that?" asked an officer as the power turned back on in the whole building.
