"What was that back there?!" asked Chew Bomb who was back in the lab with the others and threw a chair across the room, shattering it against a far off wall.
"She… she had powers that you n… never told us about," said Vortex who was shivering while sitting next to a heater that was slowly warming her body up, melting the ice off in the process.
"Because we did not know about them," said Metallic.
"And why was that tin-can there?" asked Pyro.
"I sent my daughter for a different mission, exposing people to that gas but that mission turned into her rescuing all of you," said Mr. Ravencloff as he walked into the room.
"And my other name is Lizzie while in human form," said Metallic before a hologram of the girl appeared around her body.
"What was that gas?" asked Chew Bomb.
"The same substance that gave all of you your powers," said Mr. Ravencloff.
"I thought you just wanted Max Girl dead, why give others powers when they have nothing to do with taking the freak down?" asked Vortex who had stopped shivering.
"My father's true goal is the evolution of humanity, so we're starting on a small scale," said Lizzie.
"The gas also was made to stop the mutation to Max Girl's DNA since it was out of control, that's why she kept getting new abilities," said Mr. Ravencloff.
"Without new powers she should be easier to defeat then," said Pyro.
"No, we're moving on to phase two of the plan," said Lizzie. At the same time, Alex and the others were in her garage.
"That stuff stabilized my DNA?" asked Alex.
"It did, but I'm worried that it may have an effect on the normal people who were exposed to it as well, including you two," said Hunter while looking over at Robyn and Nicole.
"Guess you'll need some blood samples from us," said Robyn.
"I'll rush the tests so we will know by morning," said Hunter.
