Chapter 7:
"So, let me get this straight," says Buster, "you had magical shoes..."
"That give you basketball powers," says Plucky.
"And have been the source of your skills the whole time," says Hamton.
"And now Duck Vader has them," says Montana Max.
"Ahnd now weethout zem, you ahre, how you say, lahme," says Fifi.
"Yeah and until now, only Babs, Bugs, and Meiying know," says Jack.
"But we dought you wewe a weaw basketbaww pwayew," says Elmyra.
"I'm sorry," says Jack, "but without the shoes, I'm no help to you guys." Jack then walks away.
. . .
The Tiny Toons were playing against Duck Vader's team again and thanks to the "Secret Stuff", they were doing better.
Shen Du was about to barbecue Babs, but Buster freezes him. Babs then tilts Buster and kisses him on the lips for a long time and then gets back to the game.
"Impwessive," says Duck Vader, "most impwessive."
The Toons' score was finally going up, but then the bad guys started kicking their butts again.
"Why isn't that magic drink working," asks Plucky.
"Oh, you mean the water Bugs used to trick the Tune Squad," asks Marvin.
"Now someone tells us," says Plucky.
. . .
Jack was watching.
"Doesn't seem to be going too well," says Lola.
"Not like I can help," says Jack.
"And what makes you think that," asks Lola.
"Without those shoes, I'd get them all wiped out," says Jack.
"Maybe you just need the Secret Stuff yourself," says Lola.
"I don't think drinking water and pretending it's magic could help," says Jack.
"You don't get it," says Lola, "the Secret Stuff wasn't the water, it was the confidence." Lola then walks away.
. . .
Meiying had the ball, but then Juggernaut flattens her.
"How is this possible," asks Meiying.
"That happens when you're in our world," says Buster.
"Weird, right," asks Plucky.
Meiying was sent to the bench.
Lola was alone with Buster, Babs, and Plucky.
"Okay, we have a problem," says Lola, "we need at least two more players."
"I'm in," says Jack.
"But your shoes," Babs points out.
"I think I'm a little too reliant on them," says Jack.
"We still need a fifth player," says Lola.
Then a live action dog enters.
"Air Bud," asks Buster.
"Can we use him," asks Plucky.
"I say go with it," says Lola.
The team then joins hands.
