Sonic and the Freedom fighters

Hi everyone, this is mastershadow, I'm doing a sonic game timeline along with some side stories, but with the freedom fighters and many more friends, even six certain characters from another world which will be merged later on (forgot to mention that), including chronicles because I liked the game, but the story could be a little better along with the planned sequel, I'm also adding the events from the idw comics because they're awesome, also Sally won't hook up with sonic for a while until way later, but for now enjoy.

Superstars part 5- Sand sanctuary and stop the presses.

Dash and Tunnel enter the sand sanctuary.

"So, this is sand sanctuary, not too bad," Dash said."

"I agree, and I bet I can dig around here," Tunnel said." Hey look, a giant snake."

"Well, its body anyway," Dash said." Let's go find the emerald."

They venture through the zone as Tunnel digs around. they soon found a warp ring.

"Warp ring located," Tunnel said."

"Let's go!" Dash said."

They enter the warp ring and sees the yellow chaos emerald.

"I see it," Tunnel said."

"And judging our surroundings, we got to swing towards it," Dash said."

They both swing around and grabs the emerald.

"Got it!" Dash said."

"I wonder, if the blue emerald gave Sonic power, I bet this one will," Tunnel said."

"In due time, now let's go!" Dash said."

They venture through the zone.

"Man, I've heard of waterfalls but not sandfalls," Tunnel said."

Dash rolls his eyes as they continue through the zone avoiding saws and fighting badniks. they were even amazed by how long the snakes' body is. they see the head as is goes underground and big machine appeared with a grey robot wearing gold armor and helmet, and a red cape.

"That's new," Tunnel said."

"Yeah, and that robot looks new," Dash said."

"I am Commander Brutus, Eggman's greatest creation," Brutus said." now hand over the emerald and I might spare your lives."

"Not happening!" Dash and Tunnel said."

"Very well then," Brutus said."

He tunnels into the sand then comes back up and shoots brown tiles at them.

"Heads up!" Tunnel said."

They dodge the tiles.

"Is that all you got?!" Dash asked."

Brutus then sends out badniks and more tiles.

"You just had to ask," Tunnel said."

"Good luck fools," Brutus said."

He tunnels under the sand and comes up between them. they start having a hard time fighting Brutus and the badniks.

"Now what?!" Dash asked until he realizes he has the emerald." Come on emerald, help us."

The emerald glows and slows down time around him and Tunnel.

"What's going on?" Tunnel asked." everything has slowed down."

"I think it's the emerald, it gave us the power to slow down time," Dash replied." Lucky us!"

"Yeah, let's do it to it!" Tunnel said." and we better hurry because i'm sure how long we got."

Dash and Tunnel use their limited time to destroy the machine leaving Brutus in his egg mobile along with destroyed badniks and free Mobinis.

"Curses, I don't know how you defeated me, but this isn't over!" Brutus said as he flies away."

"Talk about great help from the emerald," Tunnel said."

"Yeah, slowing down time will help us beat Eggman faster," Dash said." Let's go meet up with the others."

They head to the golden capital. meanwhile Tails and Rotor make it to the press factory. They see alot of press machines and papers flying around.

"So, this is the press factory," Rotor said."

(Picks up a paper)" And now we know what their pressing," Tails said."

He sows Rotor monster pictures of Sonic and the others.

"Oh great, they want to make everyone believe we're the bad guys," Rotor said."

"I don't know why he thinks that'll work, everyone knows Eggman's the bad guy," Tails said."

"Which is why we're going to destroy this place and find the emerald," Rotor said."

"Right," Tails said."

They venture through the press factory while destroying badniks and press machines, they soon found the warp ring.

"Found the warp ring!" Tails said."

"Great job little buddy," Rotor said."

They enter the ring and sees the white emerald.

"I'll get it," Tails said."

He tries to fly but starts falling.

"Ahhhhh!" Tails screamed."

"Tails!" Rotor said as he starts swinging towards Tails and catches him.

"That was close," Rotor said."

"I know, somehow, I couldn't fly," Tails said."

"This place probably thinks its cheating," Rotor said." best to swing to the emerald."

"He swings towards the emerald as it moves, he eventually catches it, and they return to the press factory.

"Got it, and whatever power it has it'll help destroy this place," Rotor said."

"Right," Tails said."

They continue on until they encounter a monkey like badnik.

"Stop the presses!" Tails said." We won't tolerate fake news!"

It pulls the lever, and a press machine almost squishes them.

"I guess it won't give up without a fight," Rotor said."

They avoid more presses until the badnik swings towards them. Rotor manages to punch it making it go back to the lever. it continues until Tails finishes it off, a giant clucky fly out of it.

"Welp that ends that," Tails said."

"True, but we still have to destroy this place," Rotor said."

They continue on and end up in a darker part of the press factory.

"Eggman really loves dark places," Tails said."

"Yup," Rotor said."

They continue on as a drone follows them.

"Why is there a drone following us?" Rotor asked."

"No idea," Tais replied."

they soon meet up with Eggman in a new machine.

"How dare you destroy my press factoring!" Eggman said." ever heard of freedom of the press?"

"Yeah, but you don't deserve it!" Rotor replied."

Eggman fires electro balls at them making them dodge, he then uses the giant hammer to squash Tails. but just in time Rotor catches it and holds it above him.

(Grunting)" you won't hurt anyone!" Rotor said."

"Oh really, let's see how long you'll last," Eggman said."

The hammer pushes Rotor down as he struggles to push it back.

"Rotor!" Tails said."

Suddenly the emerald starts glowing white. Tails felt its power and gave him a boost for him to attack and destroy the machine. Eggman was seen covered in soot.

"Everyone's a critic!" Eggman said as he escapes."

"That was a unique attack Tails," Rotor said."

"I know, and I bet the others will tell us that if they found their emeralds they had special powers too," Tails said."

"True, so let's meet them at the golden capital and tell them," Rotor said."

"Yea," Tails said."

they fist bump and head towards the golden capital.

To be honest Void, I think the powers from the emeralds only work on Trip's island since in four years Sonic and the others don't even use them anymore.
