Chapter 1: Dare to be stupid!
Story summary: After they made it to Earth, the Junkions decided to stay on the planet for their own reason.
Location: Texas, Witwicky Junkyard
The Witwicky family had a lot of things to them, a family of mechanics, military personnel who were high ranking, and owners of large amounts of land, such as a junkyard that was currently one of the few Autobot bases across the planet. The Junkyard had rather large walls to keep people out, such as collectors who would try and venture to find something interesting, such as the saying "another man's trash is another man's treasure". This junkyard was currently being used by a group, the Junkions.
Inside the Junkyard, there were large piles of garbage, scrap metal and more, a large tower with smoke and brightly could be seen, a junkyard incinerator used to burn most trash, such as waste from spoiled food or broken objectnotto make room was in the center, around it was tones of clearing as the trash was moved around, no just into piles but used to make something, a town made of trash, scrap, and junk.
The junk town had multiple structures, nothing too complex, just large huts that could hold large beings, mainly Transformers, some were used as homes while others were used almost like shops or a bar that was currently open where all the Junkions were, listening to music, dancing on a makeshift dance floor that was made with pipes and LED lights wrapped around them, making blocks, some were even watching music on a makeshift TV that was mainly a large box that had a projector inside and stereos on the outside. Another thing or sets of things were the dozens of ramps or loops around the makeshift town, something that both the twins Junkheap and Scrapheap were using.
Both of them were driving up and down, speeding as fast as they could, going into the air as they did flips, when they landed, they nearly crashed into each other only for Scrapheap to transform into his robot mode and mounted onto the seat of Junkheap, they both sped up before going on a ramp that sent them into the air high. They did a few tricks such as a triple backflip, spinning around using Junkheap's handles like a pommel horse, and then finally pressing one foot on the instrument display and the other on the seat while playing an air guitar. Many Junkions saw them, many started to cheer and show their excitement, calling out their names before they both crashed onto the ground and fell into pieces.
Everyone stayed silent for a moment, the music died out. A Junkion pulled a horn out of nowhere and started to play Taps, a Junkion pulling off their helmet to place it over their chest as a sign of respect. This all stopped as Junkheap and Scrapheap started to assemble themselves before standing up. They then looked at the crowd and were annoyed. "We're okay! Back to partying!" Just like that the somber music was replaced back to the joyful and lively themes played sooner and everyone returned to partying.
"That was Awesome!" Said a voice at the makeshift open bar, sitting at a stool were both the Autobots Mini Cassette duo, Rewind and Eject both watching around as they saw everything, sitting below them on the ground was both Ramhorn and Steeljaw, they wished they had Sundor with them, but he had to stay at the Ark for medical checkups. The one who spoke up was Eject as he turned to Rewind. "Tell me you recorded that?"
"Eject, I am an archivist, I am recording everything I see and hear, never-ending work really." Rewind answered their brother's question as the bartender left two cubs made of metal, most likely scrap metal with an oily liquid inside and tiny umbrellas in them to make them look fancy. "Thank you. We also shouldn't get too comfortable, remember, Prime had us sent here to make sure the Junkions are at home and if they could be trusted to stay out of human sight."
"I know, that is why he asked Tracks, Blaster and us that, but I think we are doing a bad job," Eject pointed behind them while both Raoul and Stella were close to them. "Since we have two humans in Junkion town. Haha! And you all say I make bad jokes."
"Kinda was Eject, but hey, it is nice being the only human in this town, makes me feel popular and unique," Raoul said, puffing out his jacket to make himself look cool only for Stella to roll her eyes at this. He then pulled at a cart near him with several car parts. "Plus, look at this, they said I can take what I find, and I found a ton of cool parts. I even found some fuzzy dice that are in good condition too."
"You sound like a kid in a candy store." Stella said, pointing out Raoul's excitement. She then looked at the dance floor where Tracks was having fun showing off his dance skills, they weren't top tier moves but were still good. While the music was playing, another Junkion was standing beside Blaster as they were playing music together. "Something tells me they really like it here too, must make them feel free."
"Yeah, I know they should be worried since Jetfire and Perceptor went missing," Raoul said before pulling out a muffler from his cart to look over, thinking about selling it. "This place even feels like paradise too, full of fun-loving Bots with great taste to the music." Raoul then noticed a Junkion break dancing, literally, they danced so hard they fell apart from moving so fast and hard. "They even bring a new meaning to break dancing too, Hehe."
"True that my friends." Said the leader of the Junkions, Wreck-Gar. They walked over and sat in a seat next to them. "We also welcome you all to our lovely town. Soon to be open to the public!" Wreck-Gar shouts as he throws his arms up.
"Um, Wreck-Gar, you guys know you can't let people know about this place or any of you right?" Stella pointed out the flaw in their logic of wanting this town to be open to the public.
"What? How can we be friendly to our neighbors in the town a few miles away if we can't interact with them? We even had a gift for them too." Wreck-Gar then showed behind him a full-scale model of a globe made of trash. "This is a full-scale model of our home world, Planet Junkion before it mysteriously blew up."
Those words felt heavy on the two humans, they had no idea the Junkions lost so much. "Oh my gosh, you guys lost your home, it must have been rough, how many of your people were still on it before you got off before its destruction?" Stella asked, only to get a confused look from Wreck-Gar.
"Wha? Oh, no we were still on it, the explosion was near the core of the planet, it mostly fell apart, we all survived, some of us just formed tribes on rubble to either build ships or wander the stars, our tribe landed on Cybertron. No one actually died on Junkion as it fell apart." Those words lifted the heavy weight that the two felt, it was like they felt nothing afterward. "Though, we never did figure out what happened?"
Both Junkheap and Scrapheap looked at each other as they overheard what Wreck-Gar was saying, they remembered a good few decades ago they came across something, a large jet engine-like device buried deep into their planet, near the core of it to be exact. There was a sign on the side of it that said: "Model one World Scanner, do not touch as it is unstable" After reading those words, Junkheap only turned to Scrapheap with a simple request. "I dare you to touch it."
Back in the real world, Tracks was stepping out from the dance floor and walked over to the two, greeting them. "Hello, my friends. Doesn't this place seem nice?" Tracks asked them, and they replied by nodding their heads. "Great, next time we have to bring Jazz, he's going to be jealous about this place."
"I know right," Raoul replied to Tracks' statement.
"Yeah, maybe in the future we can bring everyone, I think Ironhide and Chromia would love to be here too," Stella said as she could feel that Chromia and Ironhide were close, maybe someday getting really close. "By the way, should we leave now to return to the base?"
"Optimus said we need to watch over them for a while, if we need to join the search for Jetfire and Perceptor he'll call us." Tracks explained, but a thought came to mind. "Are you both hungry?"
"Yeah, I guess I had a light breakfast earlier when I didn't see Lincoln or Clyde, I was worried for them," Stella explained as she was hungry, and her stomach was slightly growling. "Maybe we need to get some lunch somewhere."
"Do you need food? We can get you something." Wreck-Gar said as he was ready to leave to get them something, but Stella stopped them.
"Um, no Wreck-Gar, I meant real food, no offense but I don't think you guys have anything edible to eat. I think we could go into town to eat something." Stella said as she pointed out that they were in a Junkyard. "Maybe Raoul and I could go into town and get something to eat."
"Yeah, my treat," Raoul said with Tracks transforming into his Alt mode, opening his door. "Thanks, Tracks, guess you just want an excuse to be in your alt mode."
"What can I say, I may be a social bot that loves to freestyle, but I love being in my alt mode as well. Just don't eat your lunch for me, alright?" Tracks requests.
"Alright, what about the town?" Stella asked with Rewind walking up to them.
"Don't worry, Blaster will watch over the town," Rewind said to them letting them know it was in good hands, despite Wreck-Gar looking heartbroken.
"Wha? But- but what about us, we would like to see this town."
"Wreck-Gar, we can't let people see you guys, I'm sorry Wreck-Gar, if you want, we could get you guys something, like movie you guys don't have." Stella explained before they started to leave, they drove through the makeshift town before making it to the entrance which opened automatically and started to drive off.
Wreck-Gar did his best to act mature before slightly kicking a paint can lightly. He then scoffed. "Hmm! Fine, it's not like I wanted to spend time with my new friends… wait a minute! Junkheap, bring me my thinking hat!" Junkheap then ran off to be back in a second with a large hat that looked like a dome-like net with light bulbs and wires inside. Placing the cap on his TV head, he then flipped a switch on the hat before he started to shake rapidly and violently as he was being electrocuted, almost looking painful before flipping the hat off. "A-HA! Eureka, I have an idea- wait I lost it, hang on." He then flipped the switch again before shaking again painfully before turning it off again. "Okay, found it again. A-HA! Junkyard, get me my tools! Scrapheap, get me materials to make clothing! Trashmaster, drop that oversized Ice Cream comb!"
On the road, as they drove closer down the road, Stella felt a little guilty for leaving their friend Wreck-Gar behind as the Junkions seemed social and would like to interact with other people. They made it to a small town called Rockville, it seemed like a nice small and quiet town. Outside it looked friendly and nice, but that was due to the lack of people outside.
It was almost rare for them to see anyone, they saw a few bystanders such as a child playing in a basketball court or a man sweeping the sidewalk, the man noticed them, and they waved as they were slowly driving by, but the man avoided eye contact which confused them.
They must have thought it was just a quite small town, so they then stopped at a diner, parking Tracks in the lot before walking to the entrance. Stella felt eyes on her, looking behind her she saw a building with all the windows having blinds down, one window however had someone looking from the blinds before closing them to act as if they weren't doing anything. Stella turned back to Raoul. "Um, hey does this town seem strange to you?"
"Yeah, quiet with barely any sign of life." Raoul said as he looked around. "Something tells me it is off, like I've heard this before." Raoul couldn't figure it out. He just shrugged it off and just continued to the diner with Stella following him. They entered inside, it was like the town, just a few people such as a man reading a paper in a suit, a man in a mechanics uniform sitting at the counter, and a few people in a single booth.
Behind the counter was a sweet-looking lady with bleached blond hair wearing a pink dress and apron. She had a notepad and pen in hand before seeing the two. "Take a seat where you both want dear; it is a slow one today."
"Don't say that or we'll get a major lunch rush!" Said the voice of a man from the back.
Both Stella and Raoul walked over to a booth close to the back, taking a seat with the lady rolling over as she had rollerblades. "How are you sweeties doing today? Are you both on a date or something?" She asked with a heavy southern accent.
"No ma'am, just friends on a trip." Raoul said as they both took a menu handed to them. Reading them over, asking about the special that was just a double patty cheeseburger. Raoul thought of just asking for the burger while Stella asked for a salad and side of fries before they started to talk some more.
"So, what are you going to do with that scrap and spare parts you found?" Stella asked.
"Maybe keep it or sell some of it to collectors I know. I usually like to work with my Uncle in his garage, either working on cars or building them himself." Raoul explained before continuing. "I sometimes help in making cars at times, I even made one all by myself, sold it too for good cash."
"That is kind of cool. Who did you sell it to?"
"A friend from my crew, the Bop. I know it sounds totally lame, but we were kids when we first formed it, Mari and I joined it while we were still in middle school. We're mainly a youth group in a way, helping out in events and such, we even have a code, and stick to nicknames." Raoul explained as he looked out the window. Hearing a noise outside drew his attention.
"That sounds cool I guess, I wish I sometimes had a nickname as well but I never-" Stella then noticed Raoul looking outside, she was confused before looking outside to see three men, each having a rough-looking attire with them having silver sunglasses over their eyes and had some long gloves that were covering both their arms, they each had different colored hair with a man with black hair and a beard well-kept wearing a brown shirt with black spots and a fanged necklace, another had brown hair and mustache that connected to each other wearing a red headband and black leather jacket with no shirt underneath, and the last man with blond hair tied in a ponytail with a poorly shaved beard. They could see they had biker symbols on their backs with flaming skulls with a knife through the word "Dreadnok" under the skull. Each of them looked as if they were having fun as the man in a leather jacket was sitting on Tracks hood drinking a soda can.
"What the heck are they doing?" Stella questioned what was with them, they were making a mess on Tracks' hood. They then heard someone talking from a booth beside them.
"Great, the Dreadnoks are outside." The man said, sounding sarcastically.
"Calm down, just don't make eye contact and they'll hopefully leave."
"Dreadnoks?" Stella questioned before turning to the people talking. "Um, excuse me, sorry to overhear but who are the Dreadnoks?"
"Huh? Wait, is that your car?" The man asked with Raoul nodding his head. "Sorry to hear, just hope they won't like your car to the point they ask for your keys, those are the Dreadnoks, a biker gang, they are seriously dangerous too, they have been causing trouble around town, I mean they have been causing traffic jams, roughhousing, fights and more. They are seriously powerful too; the cops won't even stand up to them."
They were all then jumped by the sound of something hitting the window, they all turned to see it was a soda can that was thrown by one of the Dreadnoks who was laughing like crazy. Raoul looked at his communicator that beeped, checking a message before responding "yes" to it. He then looked out the window with suddenly Tracks' car horn blaring as loud as possible, giving the guy sitting on the hood a fright and making him jump off. "Whoa! What the-! Who did that!"
"Ease it up Torch, check the windows." Said the blonde man with the guy named Torch running to the side with no one in the driver's seat, or in any of the seats. "Anyone inside?" They asked.
"Nope, no one is inside Buzzer. Still, get me something, I want to break something." The man named Torch said with the man named Buzzer pulled out a crowbar from the back of their belt and tossed it to Torch. "Thanks, now then, shame, this was a nice-looking car, now it will be a wreck!" Torch raised the crowbar and readied to swing it down, but Tracks' wheels started to spin with him going in reverse dodging the swing and making Torch miss. "WHAT THE!"
"How did you mess that up!" Buzzer said in utter surprise.
"Is this one of those self-driving cars?" Asked the third man.
"I don't think so, Ripper, it didn't run anyone over yet." Buzzer replied the last man named Ripper. They saw Torch trying to swing the crowbar, trying to bash Tracks but missed every time.
Inside the diner, Raoul and Stella could only watch, it was actually a little hilarious. Raoul was doing his best not to laugh at what they were looking at, seeing three fully grown men being fooled by a car. The other patrons of the diner noticed their reactions. "Are you doing this?" One man asked with Raoul, needing to keep the Autobots a secret nodded his head with a wide smile on his face. "I would cut it out if I were you, trust me! If they know you're messing with them they'll-"
"They'll what? I don't see what the big deal is. Just call the cops on the creeps and get them arrested, it is just a simple biker gang." Raoul pointed out the common sense of things. Why were a simple biker gang so much to handle, if the cops were having trouble, they could call for help from state officials or federal agents.
"You don't understand, they are much more than a biker gang, they have done work for dangerous people and-" The patron then looked to the window to see one of the three, a man named Riper, looking through the windows staring at Raoul and Steel.
"Huh? What the heck is he-" Before Stella could finish her sentence, Ripper punched the window with enough force to shatter the whole thing into pieces before reaching inside and grabbing Raoul, tossing him to the curb. "RAOUL!"
"YOU LITTLE PUNK!" Ripper said with Torch and Buzzer stopping their attempted assault on Tracks to walk over to the teenager. "You think I can't read lips, I read your lips! You were messing with us!" Ripper said as was about to stomp on Raoul's head but luckily for the boy he rolled away, getting up he dodged a punch from Buzzer but as he backed up, Torch put him in a headlock, holding them. "Hold 'em still!" Ripper said as he was getting ready to punch Raoul in the face.
"Time to learn you don't mess with the Dreadnoks!"
Ripper, Torch, and Buzzer
-Trio always working together, ride or die as they say
-Would sell their own mothers for cash
-They look crazy because they are
Tracks were getting ready to floor it into Ripper to get them to stop but suddenly Ripper was hit in the back of the head by her bag, inside was a metal water bottle, full of water. "Get away from him you jerk!" Ripper ducked down, hands on the back of his head as he was in pain. She tried to swing it at Buzzer, but they grabbed the bag and tossed it aside before grabbing her by her arms. "Hey!"
"You little brat! You think we won't hit you because you're a girl? Do you know who we are? We're the Dreadnoks, the worst of the worst bikers in these parts-" Buzzer couldn't finish as he reserved a firm kick right between his legs forcing him to let her go and fall to the ground out of the sheer pain. "AH! You little-" He said with his voice cracked before taking a moment to correct himself before standing back up.
Raoul needed to free himself, he thought of using a trick he saw online where he elbowed the person holding them, but didn't as Torch was hit by Tracks, not enough to hurt the man but enough to make him let go of Raoul. "Thank you Tracks." Raoul said under his breath.
"You little freakin'!" Torch said as he got up, his gloves started to glow with heat before they burst into flames, his hands made of metal. "Learn why they call me Torch!" The Dreadnok said before making a throwing motion with his arm, forming literal fire missing Raoul and hitting a lamp post.
"What the heck! Is that Cybernetics?!" Raoul said in surprise, beginning to see why no one stood up to these guys, they had weapons in their bodies. He then heard the sound of a motor running, turning to the man named Buzzer, the glove on his left arm slipped off showing a robotic arm that had the hand fold under the wrist with a chainsaw blade sticking out. "Suddenly Torch and Buzzer makes sense now. What about you?" Raoul turned to Ripper who removed his right glow showing a hand that did the same as Buzzer but with a long normal looking blade. "Maybe I shouldn't have asked."
"You think?!" Stella said before taking herself to the diner, turning to it to see if anyone was willing to help but they just didn't look, they were terrified. Buzzer walked over to Stella, the chainsaw raising up, she had a taser back in her bag, but she could get to it but before he swung down, something hit his chainsaw and looked at it to see a bicycle chain wrapped around the blade, jamming it. "Huh?"
"What the heck! Who did this!" Buzzer demanded to know while he was trying to remove the chain, then the sudden sound of music could be heard, a song Stella knows all too well, the iconic music the Junkions normally play. "Hey, is that Weird Al?" Buzzer asked.
Turning her head, Stella noticed three people, each of them riding on familiar-looking dirt bikes made of junk along with a tow truck covered in rust and sheet metal behind them. Each of the riders looked as if they were extras in a post-apocalyptic movie, wearing leather clothing along with scrap metal and junk. One of them had several chains wrapped around their chest like a sash with a crossbow on their arm and a pipe staff on their back, another had spike shoulder pads, knee pads, elbow pad, they were just covered in spikes all over their body and had more of a welding mask mixed with a biker helmet to cover their face, they also had a pipe staff on them. The last one, the one in the center had a black tarp-like cape that waved with the wind, it looked a little damaged with a chain to keep on their shoulders and back, with something on their back, but something eye-catching was the boombox that was out of place on the back of the bike- it was Blaster!
Blaster was no doubt on the back of the bike playing music, they had to have been the Junkions. They stopped right in front of the group before getting off their bikes and walking up to the group. "I suggest to the gentleman that you step away from those people, get on your bikes, and get lost." The man in the middle spoke, their voice was- That was Wreck-Gar, what was he doing?!
"Yeah! Then we'll run you down!" Said the one on the left, it was Scrapheap.
"Hey, Scrapheap, calm down, I know you're excited but be really calm for a moment." Junkheap said to calm down his brother who was shaking and rattling the chains on his chest with excitement.
"What the heck are we looking at? You guys clowns or something?" Ripper asked as he was confused at the Junkions.
"Not very funny." Torch said before throwing a fireball at Wreck-Gar who pulled out his pinwheel-like weapon, it was nearly bigger than he normally uses it but managed to block the fireball. "What the-" Torch was then interrupted as Wreck-Gar suddenly fired a beam from his weapon hitting the man.
"Forget it! Slag 'em!" Ripper said as he ran forward swinging his weapon at Junkheap who used the spikes on his body to block the large blade on their arm. "What the-" Ripper kept trying to slash or stab Junkheap, not knowing just what he was facing.
Buzzer rushed at Scrapheap who loaded a bicycle chain on his crossbow, firing it at Buzzer, not hitting his weapon but his legs that wrapped around them and made them fall to the ground. "Eat concrete jerk!" Scrapheap said before loading another chain to his crossbow but as he pulled it back it launched itself hitting a parked motorcycle with the Dreadnok symbol. "Oops… wait is that your bike? HA! You had that coming."
"You are freakin'!" Buzzer shouts before using his chainsaw to cut the chain.
Wreck-Gar walked over to Stella and Raoul with Blaster in his hands, walking literally over Torch, and stepping on them, he had a biker helmet with a rusty knight's visor, lifting it up to look at them with eye contact. "Psst, guys, it is me Wreck-Gar," Wreck-Gar said, handing Blaster to Raoul. "How are you guys?"
"Wreck-Gar! What are you doing here?!" Raoul then turned to Blaster, looking at them. "Blaster?"
"What are they doing here? And how?" Stella asked.
"Well… Hehe… Wreck-Gar had a plan where they took parts off of them, making clothes they found at the junkyard. I tried to stop them, but they just picked me up and rushed me outside where I transformed into my Alt mode with the others." Blaster said as he opened his tape deck to show five Cassettes that were inside of him, each being his partners. "Sorry guys, I really tried to stop them."
Torch managed to stumble back to stand up, shaking his head, he turned his head to see Wreck-Gar and the others. He ended up having his hands turn up the heat before firing a burst of flames. Wreck-Gar used the tarp cape he had to block the flames before rushing at Torch, throwing the tarp over him, making him stop as he tried to pull it off of him. "What the-"
Torch was interrupted by Wreck-Gar jumping up and doing a spinning roundhouse kick, landing it on the side of his head and knocking it down. He then turned to you, making eye contact, raising his arms up with his fist making a fighting stance. "Roadhouse!"
"Boo!" Scrapheap said as he was still blocking Ripper's bladed hand as they tried to stab them, they then started to sway their hips side to side as they tried to stab them. "Man, you really can stab anything can you?" Scrapheap said with Ripper slashing at Scrapheap, blocking it and punching Ripper to make them fall.
"You little-" Ripper was about to insult Scrapheap who started to run towards the tow truck in the back. "Huh?! Hey, don't run from me you little-" Ripper started to chase them only to stop as Scrapheap was pulling out something from the truck, taking out a weapon that made Ripper step back.
"That's not a knife-" Scrapheap then pulled out a giant sword- the size of a person made of several blades, dozens of knives, and swords wrapped together by straps and belts to keep them together. "This is a knife!"
"What the Heck! That isn't a knife, that is a sword made of swords and knives!" Ripper said pointing out the flaw in Scrapheap's words, he then looked at his weapon and started to run away with Scrapheap chasing them, swinging the large weapon.
With Junkheap they were just shooting chains at their legs that kept getting cut in half. Junkheap tried to fire again only to see he was out of chains to fire. "Welp, when in doubt, get a new way to keep someone down!" Junkheap shouts before running to the truck.
"Don't you dare run from me! I'll rip you in-" Buzzer shouts before ripping apart the last of the chains around his legs to stand up. He then stumbled back as he saw Junkheap walk up to them with chainsaws of his own on his arms and one on his head like a unicorn horn. "What the-"
"And before you ask, YES! This is a Chainsaw Man reference! HAHAHA!" Junkheap cheers as he starts to chase after Buzzer who is running away.
"AH! THESE GUYS ARE CRAZY!" Buzzer shouts before tripping over a downed Torch, luckily, he didn't land on his chainsaw before Junkheap caught up to them and stomped on his Chainsaw arm, breaking it and stopping it from working.
Ripper was still being chased by Scrapheap before he tripped over his bike. Turning to see Scrapheap tossing the sword into the air, the straps, belts, and whatever else that was keeping the weapon together fell apart, making it rain blades. He raised his arm to block the blades but heard stabbing sounds and looked around to see they barely missed him. "It's raining knives!"
"Hallelujah!" Junkheap said as both he and Wreck-Gar walked over carrying Torch and Buzzer, tossing them next to Ripper. Both of them were waking back up as theory was out for only a moment and turned to the three. "What do we do with them Wreck-Gar?"
"We kicked them out of town." Wreck-Gar declared before crouching down to look at them, the visor was down so they weren't making eye contact, but they didn't care. "Listen here gentleman, we could have talked, but it is clear you took on much more than you could handle. So here is a limited time offer!" Wreck-Gar then rose up, waving his hands up dramatically, confusing the three men. "The offer is to get out of town and never come back until you learn some manners! Junkheap, tell them the other option!"
Junkheap then pulled out of nowhere a spiked baseball bat with hopefully red paint on it, that is what Stella, Raoul, and the Autobots were hoping for. "Broken kneecaps and a weekend at the local hospital! They need to pay for their own bill."
"Oh! Oh! Pick that one! Pick that one!" Scrapheap said in excitement, being rather violent today, maybe he was just bored.
"You- You have no idea who you're messing with do you! HUH! You think you can just mess with us like this! Forget that! You and what-" Torch tried to point out that they were just three before hearing more music with several vehicles made of junk and scrap driving down the road with several people, all Junkions wearing outfits made of trash, junk, scrap, and other materials. "-Army…" Torch then turned to the other two Dreadnoks before they got on their motorcycles and started to drive off.
"And never come back you creep!" Wreck-Gar yelled at the fleeing three Dreadnoks, he turned to his people who stopped by and started to cheer in victory even though not a single one of them fought. "Yes, my people, we did it!"
"Wreck-Gar!" Stella ran up to Wreck-Gar, she had so many questions. "How! What?! WHY?!"
"Ah, how are we here? We removed many of our parts enough to make out vehicles that we can control. Why, we want to meet the people, see the sights, and eat popcorn at a movie theater!" Wreck-Gar declared as he raised his arms with his people cheering them on.
"Can you guys eat popcorn?" Raoul said, walking up to them.
"No idea." Wreck-Gar replied.
"Wreck-Gar, you can't just do this! Listen, I'll call Agent O'Neal and- Huh?" Stella was interrupted by the sound of police sirens. "Is that the cops?"
"Finally, someone must have called them." Raoul said, rather relieved from this.
"Good! We can meet with them, offer protection to the town, keep the people safe and become great friends! Maybe we'll have adventures, classic stuff too. Fighting bad guys, jumping cliffs, chasing cars. Oh, this is going to be-"
Wreck-Gar and the other Junkions then found themselves inside several jail cells. Outside the cells were the officers of the town, it was just a few people, some young and an elderly-looking old man. Stella and Raoul were outside standing next to the cops.
"-just great." Wreck-Gar said, sounding sarcastic. "Guess this means we can't use the pool?"
"Shut it!" One cop said, trying to sound tough.
"Okay, you two," The elderly officer said to both Stella and Raoul. "Listen, kids, I'll need your statements about what happened back there."
"Officer, I know they were a little extreme-" Stella tried to defend the Junkions, but the cop spoke up.
"A little? Listen young lady, a little extreme are people popping wheelies on motorcycles, tossing bottles into trash bins from a distance, or dropping fireworks into bottles and running away from them. They had chainsaws on their arms and head while another was throwing a giant sword made of swords! That isn't a little."
"Technically it was made of swords and knives!" Scrapheap explained.
"I said shut up!" Said the same officer from earlier.
"Listen, are… friends…" Stella thought of using her words carefully. "They're a little… dumb, offensive guys!"
"Oh no, we are stupid, we know that!" Wreck-Gar replied.
"But they didn't start the fight, it was those bikers who were being crazy!" Stella said to the cop who looked away from them, a hint of both shame and worry that the two noticed.
"What is with those guys, the Dreadnoks?" Raoul asked.
"Look, son, you're both from out of town, right?" The cop asked with them nodding their heads. "Then I'd get out as fast as you can. Those guys are dangerous as all heck."
"Who are they?" Stella asked with the cop just getting up from his seat. He tried to push them out through the station. "Wait! Just tell us!"
"Look, you kids just need to head home. Those men are dangerous! We'll kick these troublemakers out of town, hopefully, that will make the Dreadnoks not do anything extreme." The officer said as he pushed the two out.
"Hey! Wait we just-" Stella was cut off with the doors closing on them. "GAH!" Stella was frustrated. "What is wrong with this town!"
"Calm down," Raoul said leading Stella to Tracks, they both entered and sat into him to continue to speak. "Listen, we just need to call Agent O'Neal and he'll send people to help and-" Raoul stopped talking as he noticed someone walking over to them. It was a young-looking officer who looked nervous as he looked around before making it to the two. "Huh?"
"What does that officer want?" Stella asked as the officer knocked on the window, Tracks lowered it. "Is there a problem officer?"
"Listen, I am truly sorry about what happened earlier, I took a statement from someone who said this started because of your car." The officer said as he kept looking around. "But you should do what the sheriff said and get out of town as soon as possible."
"Why, what are the Dreadnoks?" Stella asked. The officer kept looking nervous. "Sir?"
"Gah! Alright, listen, the Dreadnoks, they are a powerful biker gang, rumor has it they did high-paying mercenary jobs, like millions enough for retirement. They even got cybernetics from what I heard. Top it all off, they monetary everything in town, spy gear that lets them hear in on radio signals, phone calls, and more, they even know if people are messaging on computers. Blocking any calls for help and even our mail." The officer then took his hat off in shame. "They practically took over the town."
"Are you alright officer?" Raoul asked.
"No, I wanted to be a cop to serve and protect people but since they took over, they messed up the town badly. People are too terrified to even step out of their homes." The cop then put his hat back on before starting to walk off. "Just leave and forget about us, if you get caught up in this, they'll hunt you down, they know tactics to find you. Stay safe and out of all this."
As the cop walked off, Tracks started his engine and started to drive off. "So, what do we do?" Stella asked Tracks, Raoul, Blaster, or anyone for an answer.
"No idea, best guess we help them by contacting Agent O'Neal or General Witwicky to look into the Dreadnoks, they'll show up quickly when they learn that the Junkions are in jail." Tracks answered their question before making a hard break from driving. They all then realized this fact and said in unison: "The Junkions are in jail!"
"We need to find a way to get them out!" Stella points out that the cops will find out they are robots and the Junkions could make it worse. She pulled out her phone to start dialing but then remembered what the officer said: "Top it all off, they monetary everything in town, spy gear that lets them hear in on radio signals, phone calls, and more." They could call for help on their phones, she thought of using her communicator, but Raoul stopped her. "What are you doing?"
"We don't know just how well they can monitor frequencies in town. I know we have a secure channel as Ratchet said but it could still be breached. We just need to get out of town then call him, we can wait a few minutes, right?"
Stella thought about it, was it a good idea, it was only a matter of time until something went wrong at the station. She just sighed and nodded her head in agreement to his plan, hopefully, it wasn't that far, maybe after they reached the junkyard. A piece of her wanted to call for help, what these Dreadnoks were doing was both wrong and immoral, they were bullying a town into making them do whatever they said.
"I know it's wrong to leave these people, but yet we have to get out of town, they don't know just how connected we are with military help."
The drive felt long to Stella, things didn't feel right. Looking out the window of Tracks she noticed a park, devoid of anyone, not even children in a playpark for them, a place meant for cheerful moments that felt abandoned.
Tracks stopped at a stop light; Raoul looked out of the window to see a child staring back only for their parents to pull them away from the window. He then noticed something else, a car in the middle of the road completely destroyed, exploded and burnt to junk. Just how wild this town is, how could they let people do such things.
Tracks looked at a building, it looked to be an auto mechanic shop, destroyed, looted, and abandoned. It looked more like a family-owned business with a small shop and not having a known named shop and more local. "This is a sad sight huh?" Tracks asked.
"Yeah, these Dreadnoks seem to think they have control over the town." Stella pointed out, she wished they could do something about this with just a little bit of help.
"Don't worry Stella we'll- OH SCRAP!" Tracks hit the brakes sharply to avoid something, it was a glass body with a rag in its finish as it was on fire, it was a Molotov cocktail. It landed in front of them, making a wall of flames. They all then heard the sound of a war crime, turning they saw a large crowd of the biker gang, the Dreadnoks, charging at them. Some wielding weapons, some had chains, pipes, and other weapons all out for blood. Tracks pulled in reverse and turned around, starting to drive off. "Whoa! These guys are crazy!" Tracks shout as they are being chased by the bikers.
"No kidding! We're only just down the road to the police-" Stella then realized the police were still intimidated by these guys. "Right! We just need to get away from them!"
Tracks kept on driving while dozens of bikers followed, one throwing another Molotov at Tracks who quickly swerved out of the way to avoid it. Wanting to get away from them, Tracks ended up opening something from his back bumper, releasing oil that made several of the bikers slip off their motorcycles. "Gave some of them the slip!"
It only got a few of them but kept chasing them, wanting to get away Blaster had an idea, he released Steeljaw who turned invisible and leaped out of Tracks window and ran close behind knocking down bikers left and right to knock most of them down. When there was about a dozen left the remaining Dreadnoks were getting closer before suddenly a beam came from out of nowhere hitting the bikers, doing no physical damage but rather made them suddenly be covered in a dark energy, seemingly blinding them all.
"AH! I can't, see?!"
"What is this! Look out!"
"Watch where you're driving you freaking idi- AH!"
Most of the Dreadnoks crashed, some stopped to avoid being hit but that didn't stop others who didn't think this thought to crash as well into others even more. Once the energy was cleared the last of the remaining bikers were in a pile, most of them were hurt. Stella looked up to where the beam came from, the roof of a building where a humanoid figure stood only for them to run off before being fully seen.
Steeljaw made it back to the others and jumped back into the window and returned to Blaster. "What was that?" Blaster asked before suddenly the radio inside of Tracks started to act up. "Is that a transmission? Someone is calling you Tracks."
"Who is calling?" Raoul asked.
"Don't know but it is the directions, we'll tread cautiously." Tracks started on the others; he was worried for their safety.
Venturing further into the city they had to avoid being seen by any Dreadnoks who were on foot. It was slightly difficult since they seemed to be rather dumber than they first believed as one looked into the trash cans. They made their way back to the abandoned auto mechanics shop, the garage doors were closed and locked, well most of them as one was slightly open a few feet from the ground, just enough for a small dog to sneak into, the door started to rise up and open. "Come on in." A voice cried out it sounded somewhat charming, so they entered, it was risky but if push came to shove, just going crazy to get out and protect the humans was Tracks' plan.
Once they entered the garage, the door lowered and closed, lights turning on and showing the garage was bigger than they believed, there was some space deeper blocked off by most likely the interior of the building for customers. Tracks told the others to stay inside of him while Rewind stepped out with Blaster who transformed into his robot along with Eject, Ramhorn, and Steeljaw, he wished he still had Sundor, but Ratchet had to keep him for medical reasons. "Anyone here?" Blaster asked as he looked around.
"First, don't shoot me Blaster." The voice called out. "I am unarmed, I swear."
"Usually no one starts off a conversation like that." Blaster said as he readied his weapon, his Mini-Cassettes were already for combat. "Show us who you are!" With that a car started to drive forward, it was a yellow XR311 jeep with a mounted gun and what looked to be a human being in the front seat in full tactical gear, showing no trace of way to identify them, their head was covered by a leather-like ski mask with green tinted goggles. "Scrap a human?!"
"Not really Blaster," Said the voice again only it didn't come from the man in the front seat as they leaped out of the vehicle, they were high in the air even touching the ceiling before they landed on their feet without stumbling, they weren't human.
"Swindle, Transform!" The vehicle started to change shape, arms stuck out from the side, the back split apart with stumps rising out of them like feet, they were forming legs, the hood of the vehicle folded into itself, the arms standing beside it like a chest on a torso, a head in a dark cubic shape purple shade-like visors over his eyes. The mounted gun that was in the back was now on his arm, this was the Transformer named Swindle. "Hello there."
"SWINDLE!" Blaster pointed his rifle pointblank aimed at Swindle's face along with the others aiming weapons at him, Tracks had the trunk of his alt mode open up with twin cannons sticking out pointing at them.
"Whoa, calm down, I'm not a Decepticon, see?" He pointed at his left leg, everyone looked down to see a blank black badge on his leg, it was an odd place to put a badge, but no one ever really asked. "I am more a neutral now."
Swindle
-Neutral?
-yellow XR311 jeep
-If the price is right, he'll give you what you need, no refunds
"C'mon, how about we be friendly and talk, I'm unarmed after all." Swindle said, showing his empty hands, he then noticed his own arm cannon and turned back to the Autobots while pointing at his arm-mounted weapon. "This is out of ammo I swear."
"Yeah, a Combaticon is unarmed with no violent tendencies towards us, and I'm the Fallen." Eject clearly not trusting them. He and Rewind were below the Combaticon, aiming at twin pistols they could hold in their hands.
"It's true, I left after the battle at Axel-Point before the exodus, when we Combaticons battled the Protectobots, I'm the only survivor from our battle!" Swindle sounded dramatic acting like he was wiping away tears that don't exist. "Well, one of the Protectobots survived and Brawl did too but I have no idea where he went." Swindle then thought hard, what happened to Brawl? Oh well, sure leaving the dumbest and possibly dangerous Combaticon on their own was like leaving a nuclear bomb the size of the Ark but it wasn't his worry since he hadn't heard once about him, so it was most likely he was dead.
"Get to the point, why are you here?" Rewind wanted answers, not lowering his weapon.
"Because… I know about the Dreadnoks and what they plan on doing." Swindle explained making the others pique their interest with what he had to say, ignoring his smirk growing wider, unaware that outside had a few vehicles that looked banged up, strange paint that made them seem like they were covered in sandpaper starting to drive off.
End of Chapter
