Near a small house in Hawthorne, Pennsylvania or otherwise known as Burgess a blue haired computer geek was typing up on her computer
She was sucking on a lollipop in her mouth as she was typing...it was the early day the white haired male in bed in the other room was still fast asleep
An owl flew in through the window and landed on the perch shaking off the snow from outside "how was the weather outside today." Emilia said turning to look at the owl
The snow white owl had blue eyes and shivered "I may have feathers but even I could possibly freeze up in this weather mistress" the owl said freezing
Emilia walked up to the owl and pet it's head "you did as you were told I think you've done enough for today. thank you Frolic" Emilia said as the owl cooed softly
Rose was just watching this scene beside them making Emilia sweatdrop and turn to look at her "how long have you been standing there" Emilia said a bit awkwardly
"Just long enough to see this sweet scene" Rose grinned while Boyd groaned "Excuse me while I barf" Boyd said making Rose flick him making the cardinal shut up
Emilia cleared her throat "it's Not that I'm not happy to see you...but uh...did you have to come so early?" Emilia said rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly
"It's 7 am...how early do expect me to be?" Rose said making Emilia sigh "Nevermind that..." Emilia said sweatdropping and changed the topic
"I'm guess your here to make me read a book?" Emilia said as Rose grinned holding it up "figures...I'll go wake up Jack" Emilia said as she walked into the other room
"Wake up" Emilia said trying to shake jack from his deep sleep "mmm nooo don't wanna give me 5 more minutes sugar cube" Jack said sleepily
Emilia started to noogie him "wake up Frost Face" Emilia said making Jack wake up abruptly "what's up?" He said wiping the tiredness from his eyes
"My cousin Rose is here, she wants me to read about how we met" Emilia said making Jack Frost look over at the door to see Rose waving good morning to him
Jack rubbed his eyes again "alright I'll get dressed" he said and slowly got up "you guys are surprisingly 'chill' about this" Rose said with a smirk
Jack and Emilia along with Frolic and Boyd gave Rose a WTF expression on their faces "seriously...you just had to make that stupid joke" Emilia groaned
"The worst joke anyone could have said it had to be you" Frolic groaned rubbing his beak even Jack couldn't help cringing at her joke
"Sorry bad joke" Rose said awkwardly as she hands the book to Emilia "how many people have you bothered so far" Emilia said looking at her
"7 including you...your the 2nd to last person" Rose said making Emilia look at her with a deadpan expression on her face "I'm guessing the last person would be Solace correct" Emilia said sitting on the couch
"Bingo...you are correct" Rose said with a smile "good grief...ok Frosty let's go ahead and take a seat" Emilia said as Jack sat beside Emilia leaning his head on her shoulder
Rose sat across in a separate chair as Boyd was perched on her shoulder and Frolic was perched on the couch cushions in between Emilia and Jack
"Your not going to Overblot in your story are you" Rose asked a bit terrified this made Emilia sigh "no Rosehearts I'm not going to Overblot in this story" Emilia said as she opened the book
Rose sighed in relief "now that you say that why do you ask all of a sudden?" Emilia said curiously making Rose clear her throat awkwardly
"Have some of the other's Overblot in their stories?" Emilia asked making Rose avoid her gaze 'she's not gonna answer' Emilia thought to herself sweatdropping
"Whatever not like it matters anyway" Emilia said as she started looking over the first page and cleared her throat...
