"How's he feeling, Marshmallow as we just got home, from Wondergore." Logab asked Rocket Senior.
It was a few days later, and Logan, Herbert, Rocket Senior along with Ranger had returned to their house in New Raccoon City from Wondergore since Dr Ball said Ranger could go home, but right now, all three male raccoons were in the living-room and lil Ranger asleep on the matress wrapped up gently in the blanket as not to touch the bandages as the big for his age infant kit was still recovering from the surgery he went through.
"He fell asleep, after I gave him meds." Rocket Senior said to them whichh they got as they cared about Ranger just as much as Rocket Senior knowing the male-kit would be okay but he was a deep sleeper which Herbert pointed out to them. "We should turn in, since it's been a lomg day. Plus Logan has work in the morning." Herbert told Rocket Senior as he and Logan were going upstairs however, Rocket Senior was deciding to stay down here with Ranger in case his boy needed him lying on the couch falling asleep but in the morning, Ranger was awake but cuddling with his dad on the mattress which was making them both happy as Logan was checking on them smiling knowing this was a good thing making himself coffee.
Later, after Rocket Senior woke up and making breakfast along with coffee with Ranger but was seeing him eating Rice Krispies making him giggle which made Rocket Senior smile because it was sweet knowing he was getting used to his cybernetics despite being sore making Herbert smile. "Atta boy and see you're loving Rice Krispies making him giggle hearing the snap, crackle and pop of the cereal only inhis mind's eye he was imagining the future seeing his sweet guy in armohr making Rocket Senior frown.
"I see you're up, but why upset Marshmallow." Herbert asked him.
"Imagining the future for ohr sweet big lil guy over there and saw him in Dynasty armour which I don't want for him. I know Rocket has an adventoyrous life but he was perfext for that growing up. I can't see Ranger in that life." RocketSenior confided feeling Herbert squeeze his paw gently which was helping a bit.
"I get it Marshmallow, but let's see. Maybe Ranger will surprise us as he grows up." he told him drinking coffee seeing Rocket Senior scratch hisfurry chin in thiught at this.
"Maybe you're right Herbie, let's see what Ranger can do, as he grows up. He might surprise us after all and he loves Rice Krispies trust me." he said which made Herbert smile at this as he knew theyhad something special here with Ranger making him nodding seeing Ranger on the floor after finishing eating which was sweet but saw he was crawling astounding them despjte the kit doing it slowly majing them clap.
"Atta boy Ranger, as you're crawling even though you're still recovering from surgery. We're so prohd of you." Rocket Senior said feedibg him some Rice Krisppies from his big, fluffy paw which Herbert was recordibg with pride so when Ranger was older, he could watch these videos seeing Rocket Senior nodding.
"Woah, he's crawlibg which is amazing and that means he'll be able to walk." Logan told Herbert and Rocket Senior later after coming home from work as Herbert had shown him the recordibg which made the raccoon male smirk but 2as hoping Wade wouldn't figure out where helived not wanting to put his friends or Ranger in danger as Rocket Senior understoid while Ranger was playing and crawling around majing the big, fluffy adult male got worried aboht Ranger's safety again seeing Ranger curious aboht things like sockets scooping hin up before the kit's curiousity encohraged it or he got hurt.
"Marshmallow's been like thus all day, Logan despjte Ranger learning to crawl distracted him from that." Loganheard Herbert whisper.
"Maybe if Rocket talks to him, it might calm him down, as he and Nebula are parents so it might help." Herberttold him seeing Logan nod noticing Ranger wearing a foitball helmet making them exchange a lokk. "How he has protection in case he bumps his head and prifexts his growibgbrain." Rocket Senior told them making them facepalm.
"I'll call Rocket right awat as it will calm Marshmallow down.":Herbert said seeingLogan nodding.
