Chapter 438 Expansion Of The Store's Commercial Scope

Evan could be certain that if he were Mr. Dursley, upon witnessing this scene, he would be in tears now.

It was conceivable that the Dursleys might never again welcome wizards into their living room.

All they heard was a loud BANG!

The Dursleys' blocked fireplace exploded open, and the electric heater flew across the room.

Then Mr. Weasley, Fred, George, and Ron were expelled in a cloud of debris.

The scene was truly stunning. Evan, Harry, and Hermione stared at them, wide-eyed.

They all gasped in astonishment.

Dudley howled all the way out of the room and rushed to his bedroom.

Even louder was Mrs. Dursley's scream as she fell backward onto the coffee table.

Mr. Dursley reached out and caught her before she hit the ground, gasping, speechless, looking at the Weasleys, all of them in wizard robes with bright red hair.

Fred and George, the twins, looked like they were completely identical, carved from the same mold down to the last freckle.

"Hello, Evan, Harry, Hermione!" panted Mr. Weasley, dusting off his long green robes and straightening his glasses. Seeing the Dursleys in front of him, he said, "Ah, you must be Harry's aunt and uncle."

Mr. Weasley approached the Dursleys, extending his hand.

But Mr. Dursley took several steps back, dragging Mrs. Dursley, horror written all over his face.

They were utterly speechless. Mr. Dursley's best suit was covered in white dust, looking extremely embarrassed.

The same was true for his hair and mustache, making him appear as if he had aged thirty years in an instant.

"Oh, yes, I'm sorry," Mr. Weasley said sheepishly, lowering his hand and turning to look at the exploded fireplace. "It's all my fault, it just didn't occur to me that we couldn't come out the other end."

Mr. Dursley groaned heavily. It seemed like he could lunge at Mr. Weasley at any moment.

"Oh, you see, I connected your fireplace to the Floo Network, come, just for the afternoon, so we could come through. Strictly speaking, Muggle fireplaces shouldn't be connected. But I have a useful contact at the Floo Regulation Panel, and he fixed it for me. I'll sort it out in a moment, don't worry. I'll light a fire to send the kids back, and then I can repair your fireplace before Apparating."

Mr. Weasley spoke these words calmly, as if nothing had happened, which seemed normal for wizards.

But for the Dursleys, every word Mr. Weasley said was shocking.

They all stared at Mr. Weasley as if they had heard the most terrible thing in the world.

Mrs. Dursley straightened herself shakily and hid behind Mr. Dursley.

"Don't worry, don't get nervous!" Mr. Weasley reassured them and turned to Evan, Harry, and Hermione. "Evan, Hermione, your luggage was delivered to our house this morning. Harry, is your trunk ready?"

"Packed, upstairs!" Harry said with a smile.

"We'll bring it up!" Fred offered immediately. Winking at Harry, he and George left the room.

"I'll go check, they might not know where your room is!" "Hurry, Evan," said Harry, "No, Harry, you and Hermione stay here with your aunt and uncle so they don't have to be so nervous."

Evan left the room and ran upstairs.

But when he arrived, Fred and George were trying to get into Dudley's room.

Dudley was desperately hiding behind the door, squealing like a pig.

"Harry's room isn't there, you two are going to the wrong place!" Evan hurried to stop them.

"Long time no see, Evan!" Fred said with a smile. "We know this isn't Harry's room."

He approached and gave Evan a warm hug.

"We just wanted to surprise Harry's cousin, but it seems he's not welcoming us!" George said.

Seizing the opportunity, Dudley screamed and ran out of his room downstairs.

"What surprise?" Uncertain, Evan asked, looking back at Dudley, "What did you do to him?"

"We just gave him something!" George said with a smile. "You know, Evan! We've both made great progress this summer!"

"What the devil is going on?" Evan couldn't understand what they were talking about.

The main purpose of their surveillance was to prevent Fred and George from playing pranks on Dudley and thus not further disturbing the fragile nerves of the Dursleys.

"But Dudley came running down, and upon seeing the smiling faces of Fred and George, it was obvious that they had succeeded!"

"Of course, it was a Weasley twins' prank product. We sold everything we left in your store. In fact, it was a great success!" said Fred excitedly. "We earned many Galleons of Gold, and Professor Lupin sent them to all of us."

"So now, we have enough funds for research," said George, patting Evan on the shoulder. "We already had good ideas before. We both researched and produced specific products during the holidays. Now, after the test, we can finally put them into practical use!"

It turned out they were talking about that, and it was truly delightful.

Indeed, this summer, after delving into alchemy, Evan had more innovative ideas.

He intended to discuss them with Fred and George and put all the ideas in his head into practice.

They weren't just magical accessories used for pranks. According to Evan's idea, by incorporating alchemy, they could create more powerful magical accessories that were more practical.

By then, the scope of the shop's business could expand from young wizards to the entire magical world.

Evan had carefully studied it, and with proper operation, they would undoubtedly achieve unimaginable success.

With the help of alchemy, the products they would produce and sell would no longer be limited to prank products.

They could also include all kinds of magical accessories for daily life and even dueling equipment to withstand malevolent dark magic.

These protective magical items had always been popular, but the actual supply was very scarce.

If they could mass-produce, Evan's shop could even become a giant enterprise in the magical world.

Fred and George had enough talent in this field. Evan would solely focus on designing the magical accessories.

"Come on, Evan!" urged Fred, picking up Harry's trunk, "Don't keep US and them waiting downstairs too long."

"Yes, I can't wait!" said George, the smile on his face more pronounced.

They both laughed and dragged Evan downstairs.

Obviously, they must have done something to Dudley, and now they wanted Evan to witness the show.

Whatever it was, Evan just hoped things wouldn't take a turn for the worse.
