Chapter 439 The Pig's Tail Again

When Evan and the twins returned to the room with the trunk, Dudley was trying to hide behind his mother.

He was clutching his backside as if he feared it would fall off.

Upon seeing Dudley, Fred and George's faces broke into identical mischievous smiles.

"What on earth have you done to him?" Evan asked in a low voice.

Dudley was scared, which didn't seem to be truly unusual.

"Just a few treats, he hasn't eaten them yet!" said Fred. "That is our latest product."

"When he eats them, he will definitely be impressed," added George.

Upon hearing both of their words, Evan's heart was filled with more concern than anticipation!

The previous term, he had seen the quick getaway sweets developed by the Weasley brothers.

These products were the first ones to be developed because they did not require too much magical knowledge.

At that time, there were only two types of sweets: Dizziness Drops and Nosebleed Nougat.

Although not many varieties, these candies were surprisingly effective.

The young Gryffindor wizards used them to skip classes they didn't want, mainly Snape's Potions class.

Of course, after too many people used them, they stopped working on Snape.

No matter how much you vomited or your nose bled, Snape would not let you leave the class as you desired.

Instead, what awaited the user would be an endless confinement.

Every night after dinner, in the cold underground office, as prescribed by Snape, cleaning bucket after bucket of slimy slugs.

It was a nightmare. Over time, these quick getaway sweets were rarely used.

Of course, it was still fine to use them occasionally in other teachers' classes.

As long as you didn't mind eating those dirty things.

To achieve the effects of vomiting and nosebleeds, only God knew what Fred and George had added.

In addition to the Quick Getaway Snack Box, Evan also saw the Swollen Tongue Toffee.

That was his warning. Eating this candy would make the tongue swell and spit.

It looked very funny.

However, Fred merely said they gave Dudley the latest product, which should not be this.

Like Evan, Mr. Weasley was also concerned about Dudley's strange behavior of clutching his backside all the time.

"Having a good holiday, Dudley?" he asked kindly.

By the tone of his voice, Evan was pretty sure Mr. Weasley thought Dudley was as crazy as the Dursleys thought he was, except Mr. Weasley felt sympathy instead of fear.

Dudley whimpered. His hands squeezed even tighter on his enormous backside.

"Ah, well, that seems fine!" Mr. Weasley joked. "Kids, let's get moving then."

He rolled up the sleeves of his robe and pulled out his wand.

"Incendio!" Mr. Weasley said, pointing his wand at the hole in the wall behind him.

Flames immediately rose in the fireplace, crackling cheerfully as if they had been burning for hours.

He took a small zippered bag from his pocket, untied it, took some of the powder inside and threw it into the flames.

The flames immediately turned emerald green and roared louder than ever.

"Let's go, Fred!" Mr. Weasley said, "Then George, Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Evan!"

"Coming!" Fred blinked but did not act.

He cheerfully waved to the Dursleys, apparently waiting for Dudley to swallow the candy.

"Fred?" Mr. Weasley frowned.

"Understood!" He stepped forward and walked straight into the fire, saying "The Burrow!"

There was a sizzling sound, and Fred disappeared.

The Dursleys flinched slightly, trembling, and stepped back carefully.

"Alright, George," Mr. Weasley said, "you and the trunk."

Everyone moved the trunk towards the flames and positioned it securely for George to carry.

"The Burrow!" There was another sizzle, and George also disappeared.

Then it was Ron and Hermione's turn.

After bidding farewell to the Dursleys, they vanished into the fire.

Watching this strange scene, all the Dursleys had wide eyes and their faces were filled with wonder.

Now only Evan, Harry, and Mr. Weasley remained.

"After you!" Evan said to Harry, while still watching Dudley.

He hesitated, if Dudley wasn't going to eat the candy, perhaps he could retrieve it before leaving.

Of course, knowing how to converse with the Dursleys was crucial.

Evan believed there was no need to resort to magic, as that would only annoy them further!

However, as he descended the stairs, he had promised Fred and George he wouldn't intervene.

As Evan hesitated, what happened next helped strengthen his resolve.

"Oh, well," Harry turned to the Dursleys and said, "Well... goodbye then!"

They didn't utter a word, no response given.

Harry seemed to have anticipated this and headed towards the flames.

Just as he reached the edge of the fireplace, Mr. Weasley reached out and stopped him.

At that moment, Mr. Weasley gazed at the Dursleys in astonishment, feeling angry.

"Harry said goodbye to you," he remarked, "Did you not hear him?"

"It doesn't matter," muttered Harry to Mr. Weasley. "Honestly, I don't care."

Despite Harry's statement, Mr. Weasley did not remove his hand from his shoulder.

"You won't see your nephew again until next summer," he furrowed his brow slightly and said to Mr. Dursley with a hint of displeasure, "Surely you are going to bid farewell, aren't you?"

Upon hearing this sentence, Mr. Dursley's facial expression changed.

The notion of another man showing him consideration, who had just blasted half the wall of his living room, seemed to be more than he could handle.

But Mr. Weasley's wand was still in his hand, and Mr. Dursley's small eyes immediately darted to it before saying, quite resentfully, "Well, goodbye then."

"Goodbye," Harry waved his hand.

Before leaving, he witnessed an astonishing scene.

Suddenly, Dudley screamed loudly, dropping to the ground, yelling and grunting.

Evan saw him popping a candy into his mouth. Undoubtedly, it had been left by Fred and George.

Now his body was rapidly changing.

Swiftly, he transformed into that of a pig, the nose began to tilt upwards and the two round nostrils became more pronounced.

Dudley's ears grew large and round, and his tiny eyes almost slitted into a narrow gap.

A pink pig's tail emerged behind his back.

He had not expected the candy left by Fred and George to have this effect.

This required an incredibly deep knowledge of Transfiguration and potions, and it appeared they had made progress in their vacation pursuits.

Poor Dudley! It was the third time he had grown a pig's tail on his rear end.

As for the change in his face, it wasn't as dramatic as expected, probably because Dudley already bore a striking resemblance to a pig.
