"She's back..."

"She's back.."

Back at Flower Fruit Mountain, Macaque was pacing back and forth. Even though they won the battle, the war was far from over.

His worst fears had came true. The Lady Bone Demon.

He brought a hand up to his scarred eye, his six ears visible, his breathing starting to pace. The Lady Bone Demon had somehow broken out of her tomb, and she's taken the possession of his daughter.

He knew what he has to do.

Macaque sighed, looking over at the horizon through the window. "Don't worry Bai-He, I'll get you back." He muttered. He started gathering his things and head out.

"So what? You were just going to leave me again without a proper goodbye?" A voice called him from behind. Macaque flinched as he turned to see Wukong standing there, arms crossed with a frown.

"Peaches, I.."

Wukong cuts him off. "Don't 'Peaches' me, You're just going to up and leave me again? Without even telling me this time!?" Wukong shouted.

"You know exactly why I have to," Macaque narrowed his eyes. "She's the one who took her, I have to get her back!" He turned away to leave, Wukong quickly grabbed him by the arm.

"I ain't letting you go alone, Macaque!"

Macaque let's out a frustrated growl, tugging his arm for him to let go. "Let go! I have to get her back!"

"You can't face her again, She'll kill you! Or worse she'll take your other eye!"

"I have to! I...I..." He couldn't hold it in anymore as he fell to his knees, letting his tears flow. Wukong pulled his husband into a comforting hug, rubbing his back and hair. "Macaque.." He trailed off.

"I can't loose anyone else to her again, I swore that I'd never let anything bad happen to Bai-He." He whimpered, he felt his chin being lifted up to see Wukong's face.

"We'll get our little kitten back, We're just going to need something to beat her," Monkey King sighed, sitting down next to Macaque. "Seeing as our last victory was a near death experience."

"I know," Macaque sighed, wiping away his tears calming down.

"I'm going with you. Im gonna stick by you no matter what, sugarplum." Wukong assured him, squeezing his paws.

"What about MK? What will you tell her?" The shadow demon sighed.

"Don't worry, I'll just tell her we're going on a...honeymoon or something," Wukong shrugged.

Macaque scoffed, "You're not seriously thinking lying to her is going to help are you?"

"But If I tell her the truth, she'll just want to come along," The great sage argues back.

"Sun Wukong," The shadow monkey's snarl sent shivers up his husband's back. "You ain't going to lie to that girl who just risked her life to save this city."

"Then what do you suggest?"

"We'll just tell her the truth, but we'll let her know that she'll need to keep the city safe," Macaque suggested. "Check in on her from time to time and make sure that everything is okay."

Wukong let a nervous sigh, he sighed before sitting up. "Alright then, let's do this then, Sugarplum." A small smile appears on his face and holds his hand for Macaque.

"For better or worse?"

Macaque smiled, taking his hand helping him up. "Yeah, For better or worse, Peaches."

Back below in the Silken Web Cave, Spider Queen groans and grunts as she struggles to move her injured body on the ground. Hair messy and expression furious as her eyes locked onto the little girl. "Where were you!? What happened to my destiny!?"

The girl just blinked at her calmly before smiling. "Your destiny has not been changed or diminished, Your enemies have done exactly what we needed." She said with a sweet smile, a shadow nearby slowly revealed the trigram furnace.

The arachnid queen looking at it before back at the girl furiously. "And now, my Queen, the real game can begin."
