Ch. 28: Training part. 5
On one such day that didn't seem in any way off from all the others, the remaining recruits were all taken back to the large open field that they had been in to train their Drake's. Once there they lined up in formation and waited as the General once again made his rounds of walking back and forth.
Once he finished he stood in the center, faced them, and announced in a happy yet shaky tone, "Recruits, today is an extraordinary day for you all. Before I tell you what, I must say that I am very very proud of you all. Though only two dozen of you have survived Trial by Fire, it shows that those still here are without a doubt the best of the best. And to that I say well done.", the teens couldn't help but smile at this, until he followed up with a more serious tone, "Now then, the reason today is a special day is because this is your last day of training, tomorrow is your graduation into becoming true blue Drageria soldiers." before excitement could flush over them, he stated with an even more serious and firm tone, "However! In saying that, you all have one more test to pass. One more hurdle for you to overcome before you can be called the best."
Getting more nervous and cautious now, the teens began to look around stressed out at what was to come. It was then that Kirishima spoke up and bit the bullet, asking, "General, sir, what exactly is this test?"
Without a bit of hesitation, a large object fell from the sky and landed at breakneck speeds! Though when it landed it didn't make any dust cloud or shock wave, instead just broke these laws and landed in a kneeling position before shooting up in a standing position!
From there the figure showed its black dripping eyes and mouth while saying in a demonic tone, "ME!"
All the teens broke formation as they backed away in shock and horror at the sudden sight!
However, the figure coughed hard and wiped away black goo while apologetically saying in a horse tone, "Sorry, I haven't had my morning tea."
Turns out the fearful figure was Tachibana who was shown to not be a morning person. After clearing his throat and wiping the resin away, he addressed the startled kids and said, "As I was saying, I'm your final test."
"What?!", they all shouted in shock.
"Lord Tachibana?", Uraraka asked aloud.
"You?!", Izuku exclaimed.
While everyone was freaking out over this revelation, the teen with the fire quirk quipped and asked in a snarky tone, "Do you expect us to rub your feet or something?"
Tachibana shook his head and assured him, "Oh no no no! I have servants for that…..who oddly fight each other for that service, and then get quite strange while doing it…..do I have to screen my servants for underlying fetishes?", Tachibana thought this over….aloud, much to the disturbed expressions on the teen's faces. When he finally came to some kind of consensus with himself and gave his gratitude to the fiery boy, telling him with a thumbs up, "Thank you, recruit! I think you finally made me realize something!", the teens just stood there with varying expressions on their faces, mouths gaped in awe. At the same time, the General shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Tachibana readjusted himself and then told the teens in a much more serious tone, "Anyhow, I don't expect any of you to wait on me with royalties. No, I expect you to fight me."
"WHAT?!", they all shouted even louder.
"Fight you!", Momo exclaimed in disbelief.
"You're joking…..right?", Shinso asked in pitiful hope.
Tachibana nodded his head and confirmed, "I am completely serious here. All of you will engage me in combat and see if you can beat me. If you come out of this, you pass!"
"But that's impossible!", one person shouts.
"You're a god!", another person adds.
Tachibana raised a finger, as if to point out something, and said with a closed-eyed smile, "That's what makes this test perfect. If you can handle me, you can handle anything thrown at you!"
"Don't we get a say in whether we want to do this or not?", Izuku asked him, hoping for a loophole.
Tachibana shook his head and quickly said, "Nope. Readysetgo!", all before blasting their feet with a strange purple energy that kicked up a cloud of dust and dirt, which all of them used to run or hide.
As panic ensued within the dust cloud, the only sounds coming were several quirks being fired by off Tachibana alongside his hysterical laughter, were the running feet of all the recruits! Izuku, who was in the front and took the worst of the dust cloud, covered his eyes and rubbed them while running in a random direction. Eventually, he could clear his eyes enough to see a large tree where he could hide. He ducked and rolled into the spot, leaning his back against the tree while breathing heavily to catch his breath.
After he caught his breath he noticed he wasn't alone. Sitting behind the tree with him covered in a semicircle of tall grass and bushes, was his friends Uraraka, Momo, Shinso, and Kirishima. At first, he felt a little awkward for not realizing they were there while he was catching his breath but the moment passed as an explosion rang out across their ears with Tachibana's laughter.
Shinso peeked out his head and With a click of his tongue said, "I can believe we were fighting Lord Tachibana!"
"How are we supposed to win?!", Uraraka stressed while hugging her knees.
"Was this a setup from the start? Where are we set up to fail?", Momo theorizes to herself, slowly becoming more panicked.
A light bulb then went off inside Kirishima's head and he asked his green friend, "Midoryia, you lived with Tachibana for a while. You gotta know something about him, right? You're smart."
"I only lived with him for a week, and I only saw a bit of what he can do.", Izuku told him as a tree next to theirs was frozen solid and shattered.
"What can he do?", Shinso stressed.
"...anything.", Izuku finally told them with a dreaded tone after a moment of not saying anything.
"That…..doesn't help.", Shinso's sweat dropped and he said back in irritation.
"I'm sorry but I'm trying!", Izuku shouted back.
"Try harder!", Kirishima yelled as a huge boulder took out half the tree they were standing behind.
Izuku fumbles through his racing thoughts and blurts out, "He likes cake!"
All four of them looked at him as if to ask if he was serious, to which Momo inquired, "That's it?"
"Don't rush me then!", Izuku shouted back as lightning struck from the sky.
"Little pigs, little pigs. Where are you? You can't run and hide from me forever.", Tachibana chanted, his tone filled with excitement with every moment.
Izuku peaks above the half stump and comments, "He's enjoying this too much."
Thinking aloud, Momo then tells the group, "Well if he can use a variety of quirks, then surely we can just count them as they come."
"He's got like a bajillion quirks! How are we supposed to counter all of them!?", Uraraka exclaimed.
"And he has the experience, decades of it! And probably knows how to mix and match them.", Kirishima adds.
"So what's the plan? He can probably read our minds so he knows whatever we attempt.", Shinso asked Izuku, who was already in his thoughts once more.
After a few minutes to think it all through, he closed his eyes with a relaxed demeanor, causing the others to inch closer in anticipation, as he opened his eyes and said, "We wing it."
"What?!", They all shouted in shock.
"We charge in blind!", He reiterated more firmly.
"That's suicide!", Uraraka exclaimed.
"If we have no idea what we're doing then neither will he. Mass, confusion.", Izuku explained while getting close to their faces, causing them to look awkwardly between them.
Before any of them could put their own two cents on the idea, a bolt of black energy swept across their heads and they heard Tachibana call out mockingly, "Oh come on! I thought you wanted to be a royal guard! How can you protect others if you can't even fight for yourselves?"
Shinso sighs and admits, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but in this situation, that idea might just be crazy enough to work.", While the other three all nod together, seeing no other way.
Tachibana looked around the now-empty field with smashed boulders and disintegrated trees, restraining himself from using his x-ray vision. His little display of power had gotten the desired effect and now all the teens were gone! So continuing on he pressed them, "You know I'll find you. You may as well-.", Before he could finish, he heard a voice yelling out in a war cry and charging towards him. He turned his head and saw Izuku of all people running towards him with fighting intent in his eyes. Tachibana sighs proudly and states, "I gotta love that kid's tenacity…..oh well.", With that, he points his finger and shoots out a crackling bolt of energy at him.
To his surprise, however, Izuku skidded himself away from the blast! Shock at first, Tachibana tried again, and still, he managed to get out of the way. Then he fired once more, this time using all five of his fingers! Izuku retorted by literally jumping over the blast and throwing one of his escrima sticks at his head! Despite literally everything being in Tachibana's favor, the weapon connected with the god's face, causing him to flinch for just long enough for Izuku to land, grab the weapon from the ground, and attempt to attack Tachibana…..emphasis on try.
Tachibana recovered quickly and managed to easily move out of the way from every attempted blunt attack on him by Izuku. Each attack was aimed at his head, shoulders or chest, and stomach, but Tachibana always seemed to know when and where he was going to strike and move accordingly. Despite this, Tachibana was impressed by how far he had come, seeing his vast improvement in not only his fighting but speed and reflexes.
Eventually, Tachibana managed to grab Izuku's arm as he tried to strike him in the face. He pulled the limb off to the side and grabbed the other arm to make sure he didn't try.
Once he was caught, Tachibana gloated with a HA! Right at the moment when Izuku shifted his wrist and made his one escrima stick extend and make contact with the gods head, only for it to send a jolt of electricity right into his temple!
Completely off guard, Tachibana took the full throttle of the attack and felt his whole body freeze and fizzle up at the jolt! This gave Izuku ample time to free his other hand and used the other escrima stick to strike his stomach where another jolt was sent! Causing the God to fizzle up even more! From there he jumped on him with his full body and using the newly developed flexibility he spun around his body with ease like a ballerina pole.
He was now on Tachibana's back and tried to choke him out….emphasis yet again on try. Since Tachibana recovered quickly, he also easily broke the teen's grip and was about to throw him over his shoulders when Izuku used the new secret weapons that Namiel picked out for him. With a click of his heels, His boots zapped to life with power! Without wasting a second he jammed the boots into his kidneys!
Tachibana screamed like a little girl in pain while Izuku turned on his wrist gauntlets and broke the god's grip to send them on either side of his neck! When Tachibana was stunned once more, Izuku hoisted himself into his shoulders where wrapped his legs around his neck, and using his body weight and Tachibana's unsteady stance to throw him over and off his feet, lifted him above his head before sending him crashing into stomach! Once down, Izuku unhooked himself and backed off!
Everyone around was stunned by this, including Izuku himself, until Tachibana tried to get back up….emphasis on try. Since Izuku came in and slammed his foot into the back of his neck, telling him to stay down!
Tachibana smiles up from the dirt at his bold proclamation and reveals at the sight of Izuku freaking out from seeing his foot dunk into the god's neck! Within a second, Tachibana turned into a goo-like substance and quickly used this form to knock Izuku clean off his feet! Before he could blink, the roles had been reversed.
"I think you should take your advice.", He told the downed boy, looking over at him with a sly expression as Izuku struggles to get free.
"Mind if I give you my advice?", Another voice calls out.
Tachibana scoffs and replies, "Well sure, why n-.", But he never finished as his whole body suddenly went numb and his mind went blank.
Then he felt Izuku ya kef from under his foot, while at the same time a large, thick, and heavy net was shot over him! Just as he realized what had happened to him, a huge rainfall of large stones began to fall on him.
As Izuku is suddenly yanked away from the god, he looks up to see a wonder of displays before him! Momo created and fired a net gun as she dropped a grapple line that was attached to him, Kirishima threw rocks that would've been far too large for anyone without superhuman strength to lift, and Uraraka touched said rocks that were being thrown skywards. Only for her to touch her fingers together and watch as a shower of stones fell on top of the paralyzed god!
He was starstruck, to say the least, but he wasn't for long a hand reached out to him. He looked up to see Shinso asking if he was okay. Izuku connected the dots and figured it was Shinso who paralyzed the god for a bit, thanks to his quirk.
Izuku nods at his question while getting hoisted to his feet, and says, "Thanks for the quick save back there."
"Thanks for giving us the drive to just go for it.", Shinso says back as he sees Momo nod, Uraraka smile, and Kirishima smile and gives a thumbs up.
"But that won't hold him for long." He states seriously while turning around to the other hiding recruits, and shouts, "Come on everyone? Attack!"
At first, the hides flinch, but then find their edge and begin to run toward the recovering god with shouts of war! Tachibana finally gets back into it just as the teens are swarming him. With a sigh and a push back of his hair, he readies himself for the clobber fest that was about to go down….which it was. Weapons were drawn or fired at him, quirks were released at full power, and Tachibana countered all of it! Now that he was serious and not taking this lightly, Tachibana was letting the kids have a good beat down!
He fought back with the natural weakness to any quirk that hit him, blocked attacks and weapons with keen precision and armored skin, and threw and bashed away anyone willing to go hand-to-hand combat. Using his wings, arms, extra arms, extra torso, and so forth to fight the onslaught of attacks! It looked crazy to view all at once, but Tachibana made it seem like he was running in easy mode.
While he was distracted, Izuku tried to attack from behind with his bo staff, attempting to strike him on the head! Only for the god to swivel his head around and then sprout a horn to stop the attack from connecting and electrocuting him again. With his plan foiled, Tachibana curdled his wings into himself and then pushed them open to create a huge wave of air pressure that flung all the teens away!
Once he had some breathing room, he spared no time in performing his counter. His head swelled up like a balloon and several dozen eyes sprouted everywhere! After this, a small glass like-lense went over the eye like glasses. With his transformation complete he addresses the teens.
"I hope you kids are ready! Because this next one I like to call, The Disco Ball of Death!", Everyone gasped as Tachibana followed up with, "Now dance monkeys, dance!"
The eyes shot lasers from them which were amplified by the glass lenses and all the teens ran off in several directions screaming as they attempted to dodge the lasers! One teen managed to erect several walls of stone for people to hide behind, but even then they wouldn't last long. Those lasers were powerful and cut the stone apart like paper!
Izuku, who had gotten trapped with his four friends, looked at them to see if anyone had an idea, but none of them did. Kirishima asked what they should do, and Izuku looked out to see what he could observe.
After his observation, he turned back to the group and told them, "Thanks to that giant head, I don't think he can move, and with his eyes shooting lasers, I don't think he'll see, and I don't think those glass lenses are doing any favors for his vision. If we can hit his body, he might go down. We just need something to distract him!"
"He already knows my quirk so I'm out.", Shinso stated.
Kirishima then stood up and stated boldly, "I'll do it!"
"Kirishima, you're tough, but your not laser proof.", Momo argued against his bravery.
"That's where you come in.", Izuku states, making the girl look at him confused, where he explains, "Make some mirrors and put them all over his body."
"Okay, but what about his other eyes?", Uraraka questions.
Before anyone could say anything, Izuku stood up this time and voluntarily offered, "I'll distract them."
Her eyes went wide with shock as she tried to dissuade him, telling him in worry, "Midoryia, I know you said he likes you, but I don't think he's taking any punches with anyone, you are no more of an exception. Plus you can't outrun a laser!"
"I don't have to outrun it, just pace its trajectory.", Izuku told her with a smile and clenched fist.
After this he explained the rest of his plan, which they all agreed on, seeing as they were strapped for any other options. Momo quickly created tape and small mirrors that were stuck all over Kirishima's body. He and Izuku took the position as their rock wall was starting to crumble away.
"Ready?", Izuku asked his group as they all nodded. Then looking back at their target he yelled with a determined expression, "Go!"
The two teens ran from their cover, taking opposite sides where Kirishima grabbed Tachibana's attention.
"Hey Dork God, over here!", He yelled while waving his arms.
Tachibana stopped firing at random and all the eyes pointed toward him looked dead at him.
"Oh look, a new target.", Tachibana stated as all their eyes fired on him at once.
However, all the shots bounded off him and flew off in random directions! Tachibana stopped, squinted his eyes, and saw the man's mirrors on him.
An impressed look went across his many eyes as he lightly praised, "Interesting strategy, but let's see what happens when I shift from kinetic energy to thermal energy!"
Then his eyes began to glow like fire and Kirishima gulped in fear. Until another voice called out from behind, yelling, "No! Over here!"
The eyes on the back focused and saw Izuku running around him from several yards away. A solemn expression crossed his eyes and he said to himself, "Oh Izuku, I almost feel bad about doing this…..well almost.", He then tried to fire off the lasers at him, only for the boy to vanish from view after he whistled.
Shocked by this he blabbers out, "What the-?!", His eyes quickly scan the area, and soon he sees Izuku riding on the back of White Drake. He sees this as an exciting challenge and exclaimed, "Oh, think you can outrun me? Well, run run run as fast as you can: let's see if I can catch the gingerbread man!"
While all of the gods' eyes were occupied with shooting down Izuku and Kirishima, the other three put the second part of the plan into motion! Using what fat she had, Momo created several sticky bombs and threw them to Uraraka who took away their gravity. After which she tossed them to Shinso who snagged them up with his capture weapon, inspired by Eraserhead, and threw them at the distracted Tachibana.
Uraraka, who had been given extensive training on her quirk, controlled the weightless object to float around the god's body like a moon orbiting a planet. When there was enough, Momo created a detonator and pulled the trigger. A huge explosion went off around his body, and Tachibana cried out in shock and pain as his body was blown to bits and his huge head crashed to the ground in the cloud of destruction!
Everything was still for a long while after that. Everyone hiding had now come out to the peak at the site to see the aftermath. And with nothing to be seen or heard, they started to think that Tachibana had been beaten. Though before they could even begin to think about celebrating, a huge hand emerged from the cloud of smoke and dust, where it slammed into the ground and began to hoist up an even larger form. Within seconds all of the teens were greeted by the site of an enormous Tachibana that stood over them like a building!
He looked down at the shocked and horrified teens, and asked them smugly, "How do you like me now?!"
"Lord Tachibana!", The General scolded him, making the god visibly cringe.
Tachibana coyly looked down at him and asked, "What? Too much?"
"Yes, you're far too big.", MacArthur stated matter of factually, while pinching the bridge of his nose.
Tachibana rolled his eyes and waved him off while saying, "Oh come on, I'm not that big.", He said while standing at 50 ft tall. "And besides-I never gets an excuse to use any of my gigantification quirks.", He argued back in excitement. He then looks back to the teens and says while spreading his arms out, "Well kids, let's see if you can handle things larger than life.", And with that, he started by slamming his giant foot on the ground.
Yet again the teens dispersed and ran away from the giant giant as Tachibana joyfully began to punch and kick at the ground to hit the scurrying teens! Izuku rode off on his Drake and caught up with his friends once again as they all tried to figure out what to do now!
Izuku thought fast, looking over the god's huge body, and then he got it. He membered a scene from an old movie and thought it might work! But with his wings and several other things involved, it would take far more than a copy and paste.
So he looked at his friends and told them, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall."
Kirishima smiled with a thumbs up and exclaimed before deflating, "I like your thought process…..what exactly is it?"
He looked at the tall girl and told her, "Momo, I need you to create the strongest wire you can."
Momo sighs in self-disappointment and tells him while grabbing her somewhat skeletal body, "I'm sorry but I barely have any fat left on me.", Then a small item in a wrapper is placed in her hands Shinso. She looks at it and says, "What-?"
"Eat it.", He firmly tells her, making her look at him in caution and confusion. To which he explains, "Look, a guy in our ranks has a quirk that can siphon off nutrients from people. He did it to me once and then gave me this…thing to eat. Whatever he took I got right back. I snagged an extra in case it happened again. So eat it and you'll get all your fat back, forewarning it's gross."
Momo looks down at the food item, unwraps it, and sees that it looks like a thick white chocolate bar. She puts on a determined face after looking around at her situation and nearly swallows the things down!
After a minute of nothing happening, she tells Shinso, "It wasn't that bad. It was bland, but not gross."
Then her face turned green and her stomach openly voiced its disagreement with the foreign body. She looked half ready to vomit, but Shinso quickly stopped her!
"No no no! Keep it down! You need to keep it down for it to work!", He exclaimed while putting his hands over her mouth as she tried her best to hold her stomach down.
After a bit, things seemed to settle and the girl let out a very disgusting-sounding burp. After wiping her mouth she complained, "Ohhhhhhhh! I feel sick!", Then in an instant, all her body fat, and then some, packed right back into her body! Giving her a much chubby appearance. Momo felt her new padding and stated, "Woah! I haven't had this much weight on me since I was a toddler."
"Okay, now what?", Shinso asked Izuku.
"You have enough to bind his wings?", He asks back.
He holds up his captured weapon and then guesses after looking up at Tachibana, "Maybe just three."
"Then we'll have to serve the others.", He states before looking at Uraraka and asking, "Uraraka, what is your quirks weight limit?"
"About…..1,000lbs, I think?", She gives an unsure guess.
"I hope his shoes are under 1,000.", Izuku prays.
"What about me?", Kirishima chimes in, looking ready to help.
"Call your Drake, you're with me, all of you. We'll need the speed.", He tells him and the other as he turns his own in the direction of the giant god before telling them, "Shinso, tell the others this part. Momo, we'll need some other things as well."
After he told them the rest of his plan, they all called their Drake's and took their positions or did what they needed to be or where they needed to be. Shinso started by riding up on his Drake with the fire quirk guy, the siphon guy, and a girl who was good with a sword. From behind they all jumped up where the fire quirk guy burned all the feathers off his wings, the sword girl made large gashes in three of his wings this preventing them from flapping, and Shinso bonded the other three while the siphon guy latched onto his back and began to suck the energy from the wings, causing them to shrivel up.
Uraraka rode over while he was distracted and touched both his shoes, causing him to nearly trip but he changed the weight of his feet and planted himself down firm before his shoes were pulled over his head. Now with his legs stiff and his wings useless, Izuku and Kirishima were next.
On the backs of their Drake, they each held a strand of wire that came out from each of Momo's arms. The two of them ride out with the wire coming out nearly as fast as their mounts run, much to Momo's willpower and concentration. They rode out towards Tachibana and then began to wrap the wire around his legs; once, twice, and three times over where they both came together and tied the ends. Momo collapsed in exhaustion at finally being let go and her body nearly depleted of fat once more.
But it wasn't over yet. Half the other teens took to Tachibana's backside and hooked into his giant back with grappling guns while on their Drake's they started to pull. While the other half with long-ranged weapons took to shooting at his front. The combination of attacks caused Tachibana to finally lose his foot and fall back.
"What the-? Hey!", He shouted in shock as he attempted to cover his face, only to feel himself fall to the point of no return and cry out, "WOAH WOAH WOAH!"
When he finally fell back, the earth kid erected up huge blunt stalactites that were aimed at his head and back! He hit right into the rock and a gasp of shock and pain rang out from his throat as his eyes rolled back and he went completely limp, appearing unconscious!
Everything and everyone was silent for a long while after that. They all were exhausted from the ordeal, breathing and sweating heavily with relief and caution, limbs numb, head fuzzy. They all eventually grouped up around one another as they looked at the fallen god's limp body.
Then one person asked what they all were thinking, "We did it?"
"We did it.", Another person stared.
"We fucking did it!", Another person exclaimed in assurment.
Thus causing all the others to cry out in revelry at their victory. All of them were shouting and cheering and congratulating one another, all except for Izuku who was still looking extremely stressed and worried.
He gulped dry and said in a low tone, "Wait. No, we didn't."
"Whaddya mean? We took him down.", Kirishima, who was beside him, asked him while throwing his arms around his shoulder.
He then looked seriously at the redhead and exclaimed far too loud, "But for how long!? I've seen him fight and it takes way more than this to make him flinch!"
This got everyone's attention and the celebration died down as quickly as it came. Furthermore, their fears were confirmed as a voice said, "He's right, you know."
A cold chill ran up their spines and bullets of sweat rolled off them at hearing that voice. They all fearfully turned their heads and saw the now-awakened god looking over at them from the ground.
"I have to say, you kids surprised me. I'm fully impressed.", He praised them as he began to rise from his position as if all he had been through didn't happen. Standing to his feet and bushing himself off like he just got hit with dust. After he was back up and mostly clean, he looked down at the teens and said to them with a sinister smile, "...but I'm afraid our game has come to an end."
All the teens huddled around one another frozen in fear while Uraraka, who was now next to Izuku, asked Innocently, "M-Midoriya….what happened?"
"I think we failed.", He answered with equal fear.
"You…..", Tachibana drew out, making the teens gasp in anticipation. He then suddenly shrunk back down to his normal size, completely patched up, and exclaimed excitedly, "DID IT!"
"Huh?", They all shouted in unison after the initial shock blew over them.
"You did it! You passed! All of you! Congratulations!", He reiterated while clapping his hands and smiling.
"What?! Huh? But…..what?", Uraraka stammered out.
"We…..passed?", Izuku asked, completely floored.
"But we failed!...didn't we?", Shinso asked, confused.
"No, not at all.", He assured them while waving off their confusion, which didn't help.
Baffled by this sudden turn, Izuku prompted him, "We were supposed to beat you as our final test, and we didn't, so we failed. Why are you saying we passed?"
"Now don't get it, twisted children. I'm not trying to mock you or anything, but you were never going to beat me in the first place, and that wasn't the idea of this test.", He told them while pointing a finger up.
Still confused by this and still trying to come off their previous stress, the General stepped in and explained, "The whole point was to see how you all would react in a dire situation. Who would stand, who would run, who would fight, and so on? That's why you all pass!"
The kids were silently trying to absorb everything over for a while, until Izuku piped up and asked again innocently, "So we did it…..we did it?"
Tachibana smiles big while shaking his head, telling them proudly, "Yes, yes you did. And you should feel very proud about that.", He then spread his arms and wings out wide while exclaiming in praise, "Congratulations recruits, you are all now officially members of the Drageria Royal guard!"
Hey everyone here is the last chapter in this little finisher of this mini arc. So sorry it took so long to get out, life got busy and some new games came out so I wanted to play. But I found time and was finally able to finish. I hope you guys were expecting really long chapters with lost of character development, cause that's not happening here. Taking a page from the Attack on Titan Manga, I made sure the whole training montage didn't take long. Just indros, some development, and other small stuff. With that i hope you enjoyed this chapter and the others. I'll be working on a new chapter for my SYOC, then going to the Pokemon one, then back to this. See you in the next one.
