The next day Kagome woke up to something she wished she had not.

There on the front page, was a photo of Sesshomaru, with his hand around the woman's waist. The same woman from yesterday and the headline read. 'Most eligible man no longer available"

Maybe she would call in sick. No, this had nothing to do with her, what did she care?

Se quickly got dressed and prayed everyone would be hush-hush about the whole thing, yeah right. It was the radio, the news, people were talking about it. The first thing Sango did was ask if she was ok.

Sesshomarus's father was not a happy man.

"I had to give Kouga a month off with pay!" He yelled, "Then I wake up to this!" He threw the paper down "' Our phones have been ringing off the hook"

Sesshomaru didn't budge "What would have you me do about it Father?"

"First off you better thank god Kouga is not suing you, what were you thinking!"

"He crossed the line, I am still a demon, no matter what the times,"

"Are you really seeing this woman?"

"So it would seem,"

His father knew it was a game.

"Sesshomaru, I have no idea what you think you're doing, but I am still the leader of this bloodline and pack."

Sesshomaru looked up. "I would think you would be happy, is it not your wish to see your sons married off?"

"You know what I mean,"

"It is not my fault that you took things the wrong way, father."

"Did I?"

A knock at the door stopped them both. Kagome poked her head in "Sorry, but does anyone know where Kouga is, Inuyasha is yelling for him,"

"Kagome my girl!" Toga beamed!

"Um, yes?"

"Come, have breakfast with me!" He walked to her,

"But I just got here!"

"Don't make an old man eat alone,"

Toga pushed her out the door and closed it.

"Kouga is on vacation Inuyasha," His father said as he pushed Kagome into an elevator.

Once inside they were quiet for a moment as the elevator went down, but Kagome could not take it. "Is everything ok?" She asked,

"Yes, are you ok?" He asked back

"Yes, why, I'm not getting fired am I?" He was acting weird!

"What, no, I was just worried about you, plus, you need to eat breakfast."

"Why would you be worried about me?" Was she missing something?

"Because my sons can be idiots, really, I do not know how I had two sons so dumb, well not dumb but with very little common sense."

"Can't say I disagree- hey wait a minute, you said Sons, with a S?"

He raised an eyebrow at her. "Yes,"

"What do you mean son's, oh my god, you know!" She gasped, and he laughed. "Of course I know, I knew the day after girl!"

She turned pink and he laughed more, then the door opened and they both looked out to see a tall woman standing there, it was her.

"My Lord," She smiled,

His smile faded and he offered his arm to Kagome. "Come Kagome out food awaits us."

She quickly took his arm and they dashed out of the place, Toga looked down, she was acting as if it didn't bother her, in fact, she fooled him rather well, but as she held his arm, he could feel the racing of her heart, and the fluttering of another.
