Toga watched Kagome eat the breakfast HE ordered for her, clearly the girl did not know. It was too soon for Sesshomaru to know without touching her, this was not good, well, it was, he loved Kagome.

How was he going to fix this?

"Is there something on my face?" Kagome asked,

"What?"

"My face, your staring,"

Toga smiled "Sorry, I was thinking."

Kagome eyed him, anytime that man had a thought, nothing good came of it.

They went back to work, and the first thing Toga did was lock himself in his office, he had to find out dirt on this girl Sesshomaru was dating, he had to find out just how real this relationship was. But, to his displeasure, there was nothing. She was smart, came from a rich family, and had 2 degrees, damn.

Sesshomaru took his dad's locked door and do not disturb sign as him pouting, he was always fond of Kagome.

But work went on, and Toga had to watch as his oldest son made the same mistake as his youngest. Kagome was strong, she went on as if nothing was wrong. The woman came every other day and all Kagome could do was smile in the faces of others, but he, he could see her pain in her eyes, it was not fair, both of his sons had used her, god if he was not so old (which mind you he does not look older than 30) and not already married, he would date her!

Why did his sons have to be so dumb, why could he not have another son, ugh.

So work went on, and Kagome would even go into Sesshomaru's office here and there and Kagome even started working late, then one night, to his pleasure, Sesshomaru decided to work late, so, he slipped out, in hopes that their late night work would turn into something more.

Sesshomaru left his office at 8 pm and she was still at her desk. "Woman,"

She jumped, she didn't look so good. "Sesshomaru, you scared me,"

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to get tomorrow stuff down, I was thinking about calling in, I think I'm coming down with a cold."

A cold? But it was not even season for that.

"Leave it, do you need a ride?"

Kagome stopped typing, she felt weird, a ride, with him? She did need a ride. Slowly she turned off the computer. "Is it out of your way?"

"If it was I would not have asked you,"

Kagome didn't recall him ever going her way, but maybe his new girlfriend lived that way, no she could not think light that. "Sure, thanks,"

He walked her out, and to her surprise opened all the doors, which made it feel even more weird. Kagome slid into the seat of his tiny black car and took a deep breath when he shut her door. She smelt the perfume as soon as she did, the woman had been in this car. Why was she even thinking about it, they just slept together, nothing more.

Sesshomaru got in, started the car, and drove, eying her ever so often, he rolled down the windows a bit, damn Kaugra and her wild-ass perfume, he was sure Kagome could smell it.

They drove in silence and before long he could hear her tummy growl, he looked over. "Have you not eaten?"

She was startled, "What, oh, yeah, way too much in fact." God she really hoped he was not going to try to feed her, his father had been doing that enough. "Your father has been sending me food, kinda weird,"

"My father has been acting most strange."

She agreed with him, her tummy growled again.

"You are hungry,"

"I have food at home," She stated quickly, she was not lying. Sesshomaru got the clue, but he had to admit, he didn't like it, the girl was clearly hungry. But he drove, she was not his problem anyway, he didn't know why he was acting so, laid back with her. Soon the ride was over. "Thanks," She stepped out before he had a chance to get out to open her door. "Tell your dad I am fine, please, knowing him he will show up at my door with a first aid kit,"

He stared at her.

"I'll see you on Monday."

"Eat something," He told her,

"What is it with you Inu dogs and trying to feed me?" She smirked and shut the door, soon she vanished from his site. But it didn't sit well with him, leaving her, alone and hungry, damn it, this was his father's fault somehow.
