Disclaimer I do not own Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus.

Again thank you to 7MOONS you have given me lots of ideas and insights, critiques so thank you so much.

Reyna's POV

It was a normal senate meeting with Octavion trying to take control and just overall annoying me. That was until he crossed the line.

"Perseus and his group of questers obviously have no chance they are useless. That sea spawn is useless and an enemy to Rome the lares whisper he may be Greek." There was a loud rumbling as if a storm was happening they looked up to see the sky quiet and angry most of the senators and I were getting a bit ancy as Octavion continued, He is a Son of Neptune after all what hope do we have in him, a useless demigod. Didn't stop him from beating you and your cohort in war games" Reyna questioned. Then all at once there was a bright flash and twelve figures stood there.

One thing that stood out the most prominently was one of the figures who had come out of the flash looked very angry and all his anger was pointed at Octavion. The figure had blue and green armor that had swirls in it almost as if the sea was in the armor itself. In his hands he held a trident, he had tanned skin and black hair, and his eyes which were sea green were filled with anger and looked as if they had a storm brewing. Reyna realized she was looking at Percy's father… Lord Neptune.

With a start, Reyna reacted by getting out of her senate "throne" and bowing to the assembled Olympians. Octavian as always being the master groveller that he was stooped so low he was almost sniffing the dirt which made a few of the gathered senators and centurions snicker. Jupiter then said "Rise my Romans" While saying this Neptune's glare never lessened and never went away from Octavian who squirmed under his gaze. Once everyone was standing Neptune marched up to Octavion with Apollo following closely behind saying "Give me one reason I shouldn't smite you where you stand" Neptune snarled. Octavion looked at Apollo pleadingly but Neptune didn't wait for him to respond not only do you try to disgrace me but my son as well. Neptune was almost glowing in godly power while Octavian was shrinking back. Once he hit the wall Neptune threw his trident and at the last second the middle prong shrunk so that Octavion couldn't move without being impaled by the point of the Trident. Everyone watched this in fascination as he threw it while Octavion screamed like a little baby people noticed a stain slowly growing on the crotch of his pants. The ten other gods were just watching this happen. While Reyna was not a fan of Octavion this was scary for her to watch. "You say my name with disgust yet in ancient time if it were not for me you would have lost many battles. The Punic wars would have gone to shambles, the pirates I allowed Ceaser to completely wipe out yet you still say my name with disgust" Neptune all but yelled to everyone in the room. Then he turned toward me there was no denying how scared I was in this moment but to my surprise his gaze softened and he said in a much calmer voice "thank you for standing up for my son". I merely nodded to the king of the seas before he stepped back and joined the other gods and all that was left in the middle were Apollo and his descendent the augur. Apollo looked at him sadly before saying "You can no longer be Rome's Augur firstly because you are charged with the murder of former Centurion Gwendolyn of the fifth cohort by the council as well as trying to disgrace Lord Neptune and blackmailing your fellow legionnaires using your powers of sight." Octavion paled as each charge was issued but he paled even more so when he heard the punishment. "For your crimes, you receive the punishment of death," Apollo said sadly. We will have to wait for Death to be freed though. I will replace your augur in a few days and bestow upon you a gift you have not seen in your lifetime.

With that Octavion and all the gods flashed away leaving the senate in shock. Until one senator spoke saying "What do we do about his open spot" I turned to Micheal Kahale saying "Find a suitable replacement in your cohort, but as for his senatorial spot we will have a vote during the Feast Of Fortuna." The senators seemed fine with these answers, and I dismissed the senate meeting relieved that there were no more questions I looked at the time and realized it was almost time for dinner and the senators, and centurions, and I left for the dining hall to inform the legion of the developments that had occurred.

This Chapter didn't have anything happen with Percy the next one will though. I dislike Octavion so I thought this would be a more interesting way to get rid of him. I hope you enjoyed this chapter if you have any ideas or critiques please leave a review about it.
