Witness a tale of adventure, action and pain as you follow the story of a boy named Cody, he's a gaming addict with an attitude problem. But that dosen't mean he won't be able to do good. However, can he do a perfect playthrough (or even just a playthrough) of the game of life? Let's find out.

10. The Last Level (Of The Game Of Life)

It was an average day for Cody, he was playing on his phone. Just then, Professor Mark had come into the room.

CLICK!

"Oh, hey."

"Cody, we're going out to whatever places we can all agree to go to. Y'know? So we can have some bonding time for a bit. Want to join us?"

Cody didn't want to join. However, since he had matured a little bit his personality had changed slightly. He was now a bit more considerate of what others needed. So reluctantly he replied "S-Sure, why not. I got nothin' to lose...", he mumbled that last part to himself.

"Great! You better get ready in five minutes 'cuz we're leaving by then." replied Professor Mark before he went out of Cody's room, Cody sighed before mumbling "Welp, time to pick out some clothes. Maybe new clothes in the style of my old superhero outfit will do.". He went into his drawer, before picking out what were basically bigger versions of his old superhero outfit which consisted of the cap, short-sleeved jacket and shades. He then put them on, before looking at himself into his small mirror. "Hellooo handsome." he joked to himself before smiling. Then, he went back to playing on his phone.

Five minutes later...

"Cody, we're leaving now! You ready?"

"Yup."

"Good. Get down here, we're going now!"

Cody turned off his phone and put it in his pocket. Then, he took the one thing that would be able to save him should anyone try something at him. -The game controller. He placed it inside a container called a "Pocket Cube". Hazel was the one who invented it, and she sold much more to the public. It was a container that one could store a few items in depending on the size. In this case, a game controller wouldn't take up much space. He placed it in there, before it sucked it inside its built-in portal. Then, the cube collapsed into a flat shape that could easily fit into a pocket. Cody then rushed downstairs, locked everything in his room and went towards the new pickup truck that Professor Mark had built. Everyone got in. Then, Professor Mark started driving.

"So... where to first?" asked Hazel, "I was thinking we could have some fun at the local arcade. I'm sure Cody would love that." replied Professor Mark. Cody suddenly looked up, there was something he kind of wanted to do for a while now there. -Play Kill-Ballad. Kill-Ballad is a fighting game based on the anime "Mobile-Battler Gunvarrel", rumor has it that 13 members of the staff that were in charge of it died one day including the mother of the creator of Kill-Ballad.

When everyone arrived at the arcade, Cody first went up to the Kill-Ballad game. He inserted a token he got from Professor Mark. Then, he started playing. When the matchup menu stopped looking for a player to make him battle with, he saw that he was going to face someone named "HEAVENRY_NAE". On the other side of the Kill-Ballad game was a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes, she was dressed in a uniform with the logo called "JAXA" on it.

The match started, Cody had chosen the main character who was none other than Gunvarrel himself. He was a big white robot with a yellow crest-like structure on his head. Cody waited for his opponent to make the first move. The opponent made that mistake, as Cody gave the enemy character an uppercut.

BAM!

The enemy then used a special move on Cody, it wasn't powerful but it managed to catch him by surprise. "Oh yeah?" Cody mumbled to himself as he unleashed a combo attack on his opponent. He managed to decrease almost half of the opponent's health. Then, HEAVENRY_NAE used another special move. It decreased Cody's health a bit. "Alright, you're askin' for it!" Cody said a little too loud, before he shouted "Gunvarrank Counteeer!".

BAM!

Cody used a special move called "Gunvarrank Counter", everyone else ended up staring at him but he didn't care right now. Cody finished HEAVENRY_NAE off with a punch to the head.

BAM!

"Alright!"

When the match was over, Cody had won. "Oh yeah!" he said, before doing a pose. "Congratulations, you beat me." the girl with the brown hair said, "Wait, that was you?!" replied Cody. "Yep!" the girl added, "Welp, guess ya just can't beat a gamin' master!" bragged Cody as he did another pose while pumping his fist in the air. The girl then rolled her eyes chuckling a bit before leaving. But then, Cody stopped her for a bit and asked "Yo, if ya don't mind me askin'... What's yo name?". "Nae. Nae Tennouji." the girl answered, before she walked off. "Nae Tennouji, alright then." Cody said to himself before continuing to play Kill-Ballad.

Some time later...

After the arcade, everyone headed to a science museum. This would be almost everyone's favorite place with the exception of Cody. He didn't really care for science all that much. He did like the cool things it could do though, like allow inventions like laser blasters to be put into use. The tour guide guided everyone across the museum for a while. After that, he left them to be able to do their own things. Right now, Cody and Hazel were touching a plasma ball. Their hairs stood up while they did so. "Lol." said Cody as he saw Hazel's hair.

After going to the science museum, everyone decided to go to Domino's for lunch. While waiting for the orders, Cody watched a parody song called "I'm Hungry And I Know It". It was basically a parody song for Domino's. When the orders finally arrived, he put his phone back in his pocket and started eating with everyone else. Then

BZZT! BZZT!

He felt his phone vibrate. He took it out, before unlocking it. Maddie had just sent him a message. He quickly opened Messenger before seeing a message that said "Hai Cody!~" with a heart emoji at the end. Cody replied back with "Heyyy.~" with a heart emoji of his own. The two messaged each other back and forth through lunch. Then, Hazel asked "Who are ya textin' dude?". "Mind your own damn business..." Cody groaned, "Okay, okay." Hazel replied jokingly. She knew what was going on, but decided to leave Cody at it.

After lunch...

After lunch, it was time to head home. Everyone was tired but happy from everything that happened today. Cody went straight to his room to chat with Maddie further.

"So, wanna date before dinner time?~"

"Id love that thank you~"

"Great, its settled then"

Before dinner time, Cody had prepared for his date with Maddie. He picked out some nice clothes and rode his car to her place. Once he got there, he stopped his car and stepped out before ringing the doorbell.

DING DONG!

CLICK!

"Oh, C-Cody, i-it's you."

"Hi Ms. Maddison, I'm looking for Maddie."

"Maddie! Your boyfriend is here!"

"Coming!"

As soon as Maddie heard her mother, she quickly made the final adjustments to her makeup before rushing downstairs. Then, she met Cody near the door. "Hi Cody!~" she said excitedly as she saw him, "Hey, you ready?" Cody asked smiling. "Yep! Let's go!~" Maddie replied, before going with Cody in his car. Cody made his car a two-seater again, before he drove off. Maddie's parents looked on as the car left their house.

While Cody was driving, Maddie asked "So, where to?~". "I managed to make a reservation at Outback Steakhouse, should be fitting for a proper date." replied Cody. Then, Maddie suddenly kissed Cody in the cheek. This caused him to blush and smile at her. Maddie then smiled back. Cody wouldn't return the kiss so suddenly because he was more of a "do-it-in-the-right-moment" guy, at least when it came to this sort of thing instead of randomly. Maddie already knew this and just let him drive.

Soon, Cody reached Outback Steakhouse. He parked his car, before stopping it. Then, he and Maddie went out. When they got out, they went inside the restaurant. It was a very nice place. Cody and Maddie then went behind the line and waited for their turn. When their turn came up, they placed their orders on the cashier who listed it and got someone else to make some of the food. Cody and Maddie then looked for a good spot to sit on. When they did, Cody said "Oh, this looks like a good spot.". Maddie agreed, before she and Cody sat down on it.

Once Cody and Maddie's orders came, they said thank you to the waitress that gave them the food. Cody had already paid beforehand so there was no need to do that later. He and Maddie then began eating.

However, Cody and Maddie were unaware that someone was watching them from the window of Outback Steakhouse. -It was Black Jack again! And he looked even more bloodlusted this time!

"It's time for you experience the pain all over again, Cody. Hahahahaha!"

He said that, before vanishing into a cloud of smoke. Cody and Maddie continued with their date not knowing that Black Jack had just spied on them.

After the date, Cody and Maddie went back inside Cody's car. Then, Cody started driving again. "So, where do ya wanna go now?" asked Cody, "Sandwood Pier. It's got an amusement park and a nice view there. Especially at sunset." replied Maddie. "Alright." Cody replied back, before continuing to drive.

It took a while, Sandwood Pier was pretty far from where Cody lived. But eventually, he got there. He found a good parking spot, before he and Maddie exited the car. "C'mon. Let's go.~" said Cody as he held out his hand, Maddie blushed a bit and took it before going with him.

The two played games all day, they even managed to win a couple of prizes. They went all around the amusement park, trying almost all the rides, eating lots of snacks and of course playing almost all of the games there. It was a wonderful time, and Cody could never be happier.

At last, when the sun started setting Cody and Maddie went near the end of the small bridge that allowed a good view of the vast waters and atmosphere. It was beautiful. "This is nice." said Cody, "I know right? It's beautiful." agreed Maddie. "Yeah.~ Yeah it is...~" Cody replied back as he looked at Maddie blushing a bit. Maddie then noticed Cody looking at her, before saying "Oh, stop it you.~" and playfully and lightly slapping his arm. "S-Sorry!" Cody quickly said before returning his gaze towards the distance. Just then, the two sat on the end of the bridge before holding hands. Maddie leaned towards Cody. The two spent quite a while on the end of the bridge.

That night...

Cody was laying in bed, he couldn't stop thinking about Maddie. This day was perfect. For once, he felt anything other than being depressed and feeling like shit. With Maddie, he felt like the light had been brought back into his life. And that it was normal again. But how long would these good feelings last?

"Soon... Hahahaha!"

FWOOSH!

"H-Huh?"

Black Jack said the first line, before disappearing. Cody slightly heard his disappearance. He looked out of his window to see if anyone was there. No one. "Huh, must be my imagination. Ever since Black Jack returned I've been a bit paranoid about potential signs of him." he thought, before returning to his bed. He didn't realize the horrors he would witness later on.

That night...

FWOOSH!

"Ungh... wh-what's that smell? Smells like... something burning?"

CLICK!

"AAAHHH!"

Maddie was asleep, a burning smell woke her up. She checked where it came from. And to her horror, it came from the kitchen! "AAAHHH!" she screamed as she called her parents. When they came down, they were shocked as well. "Wh-What happened?!" asked her father, "I-I don't know! I smelled something burning! And when I came out to check it I saw this!" Maddie replied.

Soon, the fire quickly spread. Too quickly. It was highly unusual even for a large flame. Then

FWOOSH!

"AHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

"Wh-What?!"

"Hello, Maddie. You never thought you'd see me again, did you?"

"Black Jack!"

"Wh-Who is that?! Wh-What's happening?!"

"Mom! Dad! Stay back! He's-"

FWOOOSH!

"AAH!"

"AAH!"

"AAH!"

Black Jack had spewed fire all across the room, trapping Maddie and her parents in it. Maddie's parents had started burning first, they screamed as they tried to put out the flames. They couldn't go to the bathroom to put out the fire because it was blocked. "-MOM! -DAD!" Maddie shouted, before she saw her parents burn to death. She was shocked, fear began to creep up on her. "HAHAHAHAHAAA!" Black Jack laughed maniacally, before he gave Maddie a very creepy look. Then, he spewed fire at her.

FWOOOSSSHHH!

"AAAHHH!"

Maddie burst into flames. She tried to put them out by dropping to the ground and rolling, but they were too much. She screamed in pain and agony, before her body was reduced to nothing but ash. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!" Black Jack laughed even more crazily as he watched Maddie and her parents burn. "Wait until you find this, Cody. AHAHAHAHAHAAA!" he added, before vanishing. By this point, Maddie's whole house was on fire.

Eventually, firefighters were called. They came to the scene as quickly as they could. Then, they sprayed their trucks' hoses at the house. The fire had soon spread to nearby ground, structures and plants making it even worse. And soon, our heroes arrived.

SCREEECH!

Professor Mark stopped his pickup truck, before he and everyone else came out. "What's going on?!" asked Cody. Then, he saw whose house was burning. "-NO!" he shouted, before rushing towards it. "Cody, wait!" yelled Hazel, but Cody wasn't planning to stop. He quickly rushed inside the burning building. He activated his controller's Fire Extinguisher Mode before spraying it everywhere.

FWOOOSH!

The controller's Fire Extinguisher Mode was powerful enough to put out all the flames despite how big they were. Then, Cody checked the surroundings. To his horror, he found ashes near what looked like burnt body parts of Maddie. "No! No! NO!" Cody said in horror as he checked the pile of ashes and body parts. They were indeed Maddie's. "No..." Cody said weakly, before hugging the ashes and body parts. He felt an emotion he had never felt before. -Broken. -Completely broken. The world had finally gave him something good in his life, and it took it away from him in one fell swoop. Cody took a while to process what he saw, before anger replaced his thousand-yard stare. "I will kill whoever did this..." he said in a scary voice. Then, he screamed in rage.

"RAAAHHH!"

"That was Cody!"

"C'mon! Let's help him!"

Professor Mark, Professor Meena and Hazel heard Cody's scream, they rushed inside Maddie's house to check on what was happening. When they did, they were horrified! Cody was huddled near the pile of burnt body parts and ashes that were once Maddie. Tears were falling from his eyes as he kept on mumbling hateful things to himself.

"C-Cody? A-Are you okay?" Hazel asked nervously as she approached him. "M-Maddie..." Cody spoke softly as he kept hugging her remains. Then, his expression was replaced with pure anger once again. "I will KILL the bastard who did this!" he shouted. Then

FWOOSH!

"AHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

"-YOU! -I SHOULD'VE KNOWN!"

"You're a fool for thinking that you'd be happier in life for a very, very long time. Think again. As long as I roam this planet, I will ruin your life. But don't worry, you'll soon join her."

Pure rage rushed through Cody's body, before he activated the controller's Master System. However, before he could do anything else Black Jack spewed fire at the controller!

FWOOSH!

"AAH!"

The controller was incinerated, Black Jack laughed as it was reduced to ash just like some of Maddie's body parts. "RRGH!" growled Cody, before he tried lunging at Black Jack. Just then

SLAM!

"Oomph!"

"Cody, you can't physically fight him anymore! He's made of flame now. He's a spirit, and he's much more powerful than before."

"Wh-What am I supposed to do then?!"

"You know that new program I was working on?"

"Yeah?"

"Complete it. Go back inside the lab and complete it. You have enough knowledge to finish the rest of it, you learned how to modify and hack games. So you'll be able to do this. Then, after it has completed its installation into the new weapon I'm creating you can use it to take revenge."

Hazel stopped Cody from lunging at Black Jack, reminding him that he was a spirit now and was made of flames. She then told him to complete the program she was working on so that he would be able to use the new weapon she was creating so that he could take revenge on Black Jack. Cody nodded, before rushing to the lab. Meanwhile, Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena all tried their best to keep Black Jack away from Cody and distract him. Meanwhile, Black Jack started to spew more fire to the surroundings. "All of you will burn in the fires of Hell! Ahahahahaaa!" he said psychotically before he kept burning everything in sight. Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena were alarmed as they saw what was happening.

Some time later...

Cody finally got back to the lab. When he did, he quickly went inside before heading towards the secret real lab that the building hid. He looked around, and saw a computer opened with multiple tabs on it. On the bottom was a white keyboard with some wires attached to it. Cody then went towards the computer screen and got to work. He started typing in the codes and commands to complete the weapon Hazel was working on.

Meanwhile...

SLAM!

"Agh!"

Black Jack had caused total destruction to the surroundings. Everything was charred to a crisp. The people ran before they could get burned. Then, Black Jack roared "Just you wait, Cody! I will hunt you down from here! And then-". But before he could finish that sentence, Hazel threw a bucket of water at him to distract him.

SPLASH!

"ARGH! WHY YOU LITTLE-"

FWOOSH!

"AAH!"

Black Jack spewed fire in retaliation, but Hazel ducked and rolled to the side. "W-We can't do much to him! He's a spirit, and he's too powerful!" said Professor Mark, "Call the exorcist that helped us back then!" replied Professor Meena as she narrowly avoided getting her face burned off. "That's what I'm doing right now!" Professor Mark replied back. However, Black Jack spewed fire on his phone and burned it.

FWOOSH!

"AHAHAHAHAAA!"

Black Jack laughed again, before trapping Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena in a ring of fire. Then, he added "I will take you all to Hell with me!".

Meanwhile...

"C'mon... C'mon..."

Cody was waiting for the program to be finished installing in the new keyboard that Hazel turned into a weapon, the installation was almost complete. Cody waited for a few more seconds, then

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"Installation complete. Would you like to release the keyboard?"

"Yes! And hurry!"

BEEP! BEEP!

"Weapon completed."

As soon as the computer finished the installation of the program into the keyboard, Cody quickly got it before returning to the scene of the battle just as quickly as possible. "Gotta get back there! Before there's no "there" left to save!" thought Cody as he kept on running.

A few minutes later...

"I'm tired of you all meddling with my plans. But now, you will join me in the underworld! Ahahahahaaa!"

"Not gonna happen!"

"Huh?"

"Heeyah!"

SLASH!

"ARGH!"

While the fire came closer to Professor Mark, Professor Meena and Hazel, Black Jack said that he would take them to the underworld with him. But a voice replied saying that that wouldn't happen, followed by a slash near Black Jack's head. "ARGH!" Black Jack roared as he looked at the one who slashed at him. -It was Cody! He was back!

"Come back for more, Cody? Ahahaha! Are you ready to join your lover in the underworld?"

"It's game over for you, Black Jack!"

"On the contrary..."

Rarrrgh...

"Wh-What?!"

"You see them? They are under my control."

"Two can play at that game!"

Black Jack had an army of black paintballs from the game Paint Brawlz behind him. But then, Cody activated the keyboard's console before typing a command in it. Immediately, an army of different colored paintballs backed him up.

"So, just because you have an army you think you'll be able to stop me?"

"I'll fucking fight you if it's the last thing I do!"

"Hahahaha..."

Black Jack smirked, before roaring and spewing fire at Cody. Cody jumped to avoid the fiery waves from the roar. Then, he slashed on the other side of his neck.

SLASH!

ROAR!

Black Jack roared in pain as he held his neck. Just then, Cody started pressing some keys. They were able to make him attack Black Jack without touching him just like the controller could do. "RRGH!" growled Black Jack, before he sent out a big burst of flames at him. Cody tried to duck, but his left arm was burned! "AGH!" Cody screamed as he held it, it now had a huge burn mark on the top. "-YOU MOTHERFUCKING-" shouted Cody, before he pressed Ctrl and D on the keyboard.

BEEP! FLASH!

"ARGH!"

The Ctrl and D keys could delete things when pressed together, so Cody kept on using that against Black Jack. Over time, Black Jack's body became glitchier as it slowly started to get deleted. Just the, he tried unleashing a huge blast of fire towards Cody. However, Cody pressed Ctrl and Z to undo what he did. Black Jack was surprised, "I-Impossible!" he said. "-I'LL KILL YOU FOR KILLING MADDIE!" Cody screamed at the top of his lungs, before he tried slashing at Black Jack. However, Black Jack spewing fire everywhere and moving fast made this difficult. The keyboard may be very powerful, but it wouldn't work if it wasn't pointed at the thing that Cody wanted to affect. And that included Black Jack. He was disappearing and reappearing fast, spewing large fireballs out of his mouth as he did so.

Meanwhile, the colored and black paintballs started to fight against each other to the death. They bit and ripped apart each other, leaving splatches of paint everywhere.

Cody and Black Jack continued to fight, Cody had received several more burn marks from Black Jack continuing to spew fire at him. "HOLD STILL YOU LITTLE-" Cody shouted as he tried to point his keyboard at Black Jack. "Make me! Ahahahahaaa!" Black Jack laughed as he managed to hit him with fire again. Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena tried to help him, but their laser blasters didn't stand a chance against someone who could disappear and reappear at any time.

"You don't have enough power to defeat me! I am a spirit, and you are just a mere mortal with some fancy gadgets and some paintballs on his side!"

As Black Jack continued to appear and disappear, Cody kept on trying to delete him. But he was too fast. Then, some of the black paintballs started attacking him. Hazel was the one who was currently available to help him as the others were occupied with the other black paintballs. However, even she couldn't fend them all off as they kept on piling on Cody. Cody pressed Ctrl and D to delete the hordes of black paintballs, but they kept on coming. Hazel continued helping him with her laser gun. Once enough black paintballs were killed, Cody tried running. But Black Jack roared "Stop him!" to some other black paintballs. They then started chasing Cody.

Cody tried to kill as much black paintballs as he could, but even his keyboard wasn't enough. There were too many of them. Even with Hazel's help, he still found it difficult to fend them off. "Get away from me you little shits!" he shouted as he slashed at and deleted them.

The black paintballs continued to pile up on Cody. By now, he was getting exhausted. He couldn't keep this up for much longer, and neither could Hazel or everyone else. The black paintballs were overwhelming them with their numbers. It got to a point where Cody accidentally dropped the keyboard and could no longer fight or resist. "H-Help..." he panted as the black paintballs kept on mauling him. Just then

"Enough! He's mine!"

Someone suddenly commanded the black paintballs who were on top of Cody to stop. It was Black Jack, he made them get off of him. He wanted to finish Cody himself. He flew next to him before saying "You should've never been born!" and burning him. "AAAHHH!" Cody screamed as the flames started to consume him, "CODY!" yelled Hazel as she tried to get out from under the pile of black paintballs that were on top of her. However, she was exhausted as well and couldn't fight back or resist anymore. She had accidentally dropped her weapon as well which made things worse.

As the flames consumed Cody completely, Black Jack began to laugh maniacally again. He had finally destroyed one of his worst enemies.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!"

"CODY, NO!"

FWOOSH!

Cody was reduced to nothing but ash. His ashes flew in the wind, before scattering in the air and disappearing. "No!" Hazel tried to say, but she couldn't speak under the hordes of black paintballs that continued to attack her. "Hahaha! First I will rule this town. And then, I will rule Cody's town. It won't be long before I rule the entire Earth! And perhaps the universe as well! Ahahaha! But now, I have a score to settle with Cody. My job is not done yet. -Not by a long shot." said Black Jack, before disappearing.

Meanwhile...

FWOOSH!

Cody had been teleported into a world filled with flames and burning rock. It was red all over, and it was horrifying. The screams of the damned echoed throughout the place, and there were lost souls floating around. It didn't take him too long to figure out where he was. "B-But I tried to stop Black Jack on my last hours on Earth... H-How... -Wh-Why?!" Cody thought as he looked around anxiously. Then

FWOOSH!

"Hahahaaa!"

"-YOU!"

"That's right. Me! I told you I was going to take you to the underworld with me. And now that you're here... you will suffer for the rest of your life! Isn't it pathetic how far you've fallen, Cody? Now... you have nothing. No weapons, no controller, no keyboard. But most of all, no one to save you. Ahahahahaaa!"

Cody looked around once more, he had fallen into Hell. He looked down and said "Well, just end me now. I've got nothing to live my secondary life for anyway. Not that I'll have it long...". "Ahahahaaa! And now... I shall destroy you just like you destroyed me all those years ago!" replied Black Jack, before he grew horns, wings and a tail. He had turned into a demon.

"Y'know, Lucifer really did an excellent job on this demon form."

Cody tried to think of what to do. Black Jack was right, he had no weapons, powers or someone to help him. He was alone and powerless. But he wouldn't be alone for long.

"You're wrong, Black Jack."

"Huh?!"

"He's not alone."

Cody and Black Jack looked to the side to see who suddenly spoke. It was a teenage girl with black hair tied to a ponytail and yellow eyes. "H-Hayley?!" Cody said relieved. "Yes. My soul has left the new body that Zeus gave me. Thank you for sticking with the good guys until the end, I knew you could do it. -Even without me." Hayley replied. Cody was relieved, Hayley wasn't completely gone. But that could change real soon.

"RRAGH!" roared Black Jack as fire formed all around him. Then, he tried to spew a huge fireball at Hayley. Hayley made a shield out of yellow energy, blocking it. "You'll never win, Black Jack. In the mortal world, you're a huge threat. But in this world, the ones above will always defeat you." Hayley continued. Wings then spread from her back, before a yellow halo appeared on her head. Just then...

FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!

Human-like beings descended from above as they spread their wings and let their halos show. They wielded swords and shields. Soon, Hayley made her own sword and shield appear. "Attack!" she shouted, before she and the others started charging and flying towards Black Jack.

"You all want to put yourselves between me and Cody?! Fine, I'll have you all consumed by my flames!" roared Black Jack, before an army of demons flew behind him. "So nice of Lucifer to provide me with an army." he said to himself, before shouting "Attack!".

ROAAARRR!

The demons and angels charged towards each other, before fighting each other to the death. Meanwhile, Hayley yelled "Cody! You have our powers too! Use them! And take out your weapons!". Cody then made two wings emerge from his back. A halo then appeared on his head, before a sword and a shield appeared on his hands. "Alright! Now we're talkin'!" he said, before adding "It's really "game over" for you this time, Black Jack!" and flying towards him.

KLANG! KLANG! KLANG!

The angels' swords and the demons' pitchforks clashed against each other, it was total chaos in Hell. Hayley helped Cody try to defeat Black Jack, but he was too quick and they were having a hard time landing hits on him. "Y'know, even with great power in your hands you're pathetic!" Black Jack shouted, before lunging towards Cody. Cody was then slammed on to the ground, "Agh!" he groaned as he tried to get Black Jack off of him. Hayley helped him by driving her sword into Black Jack's back.

CHAKK!

"AAGH!"

Black Jack roared in pain, before Hayley pulled her sword out. Black Jack tried biting, clawing and spewing fire at Hayley only for Hayley to dodge his attacks and knock him down with her wings. Cody and Hayley then kept on attacking Black Jack together.

It took a good long while. But eventually, the numbers of demons were decreasing. And the angels were able to drive them away. Cody's side was winning. "Fine! Run you cowards! I'll finish them myself!" roared Black Jack, before he faced towards Cody.

"It's over Black Jack. Your army's gone. There like a bazillion of us, and only one of you. You wanna take those chances?"

ROAR!

"That's gonna be the most idiotic decision you ever make."

Black Jack roared at Cody, before lunging at him. Cody ducked, before stabbing him with his sword.

CHAKK!

"Argh!"

Black Jack stopped as Cody's sword was driven into his stomach. When Cody pulled his sword out, blood leaked from the deep wound that Black Jack got. Since he was already severely weakened from the battle, he began to feel light-headed before dropping to the ground.

THUMP!

"Nnngh..." groaned Black Jack, before he closed his eyes and stopped moving. All the life from his body was gone. Cody then raised his sword up, before stabbing him in the head for the finishing blow.

CHAKK!

Black Jack then immediately vanished, never to be seen again. He crumbled into dust, and his remains were blown away by the hot air. "Cody, you okay?" Hayley asked while checking over Cody. "I-I think so... I-I'll survive. I-I think..." Cody answered, before letting himself slump onto a rock. He was exhausted from the battle. All he wanted to do now was rest.

"Come on, Cody. Let's take you home. Your real home." added Hayley, before she carried Cody in her arms. Cody was too exhausted to say or do anything. And a few seconds later, he fell asleep. Hayley then took him to the world above, where he would spend the rest of his days in paradise.

Meanwhile...

Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena had taken care of the black paintball situation. The battle was over on Earth, but the damage had already been done. The battle managed to reach Cody's town, and it was eviscerated from the inside out. Professor Mark and Professor Meena looked down as they saw the charred remains of the homes and buildings nearby. Hazel then sat down and put her head in between her knees, she couldn't believe something like this had happened. Not only were property destroyed, but there was blood and dead bodies almost everywhere. Hazel shed some tears as she took a moment to process the destruction she just saw, "It's horrible..." she thought as she continued crying. Just then

FLASH!

"H-Huh?"

"Hmm?"

"Huh?"

A bright light emerged from the sky. It was Cody and Hayley, they had returned to the mortal world. "Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena. Thank you for sticking with me through my journey in the game of life. I have won. And now, it's time I gave a reward just like how a game does when one wins." Cody spoke, before he and Hayley started glowing brighter.

Rain started to pour down, washing the blood away. Then, in a matter of seconds everything was restored to normal. The people who had died in the battle were revived, their homes and other property had been fixed as well as other property in general. The skies became clear, some birds flew across it. And a rainbow had appeared in the distance. Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena looked in shock as they saw the beautiful things that happened. Cody then added more to what he said.

"I believe this is the last time I'll be here in this mortal world. Do not worry about me anymore, for I am once again truly happy. I am reunited with my old friend. And I have won the game of life. Farewell, may you all join me in paradise when you complete your final levels in your games of lives."

And with that, both Cody and Hayley disappeared. Hazel, Professor Mark and Professor Meena then looked around. It was like nothing had happened in the first place. It looks like Cody has actually won the game of life.

Meanwhile...

In the heavens above, Cody was being hugged by his old friend Hayley. It was like comforting a baby so that it could sleep well. Cody and Hayley would spend the rest of their lives in paradise, where trouble would never reach them again.
