Chapter 4
A few months later, another day of college was over. Connor and Wendy were standing outside, then a car pulls up to them. Freddy was in the driver's seat and he says: "Hey guys, guess who passed their driving test?" "Wow, congrats dude," says Connor. "How did you afford this car?" says Wendy. Freddy gives a small laugh before saying: "It's my mum's car. She let me use it for the test."
"Oh right, sorry." "It's fine. Actually, I need to drive back home to return it. You should come with me." "Are you sure that's a good idea?" says Connor. "Yeah, it's no problem. I'll introduce you to my mum. She's always talking about me making new friends." "Come on Connor. I'm sure it will be fine," says Wendy. Connor takes a deep breath before saying: "Ok. So are we going then?"
Both Connor and Wendy jumped into the car and it drove off. It parked outside a house and everyone got out. Freddy knocked on the door and his mum opens the door. "Hey mum, I passed." "Oh Freddy. I'm so proud of you." Freddy and his mum hugged each other. "Are these your friends?" "Yes mum, these are the ones I was talking about."
"Hello, my name is Wendy." "And I'm Connor." "Well then, come in." All four of them walked into the house and the door was closed. "This is a nice house ma'am," says Wendy. "Thank you. I did my best to keep it clean. Freddy? How about I go get you something special to celebrate the driving test?" "Sounds good mum. I'll keep the guests entertained."
Freddy's mum walks out the house and into the car. She then drives away, Connor and Wendy sat down on a sofa. "Ok, make yourself comfortable. I've got something cool to show you," says Freddy. He walked upstairs to his room. He then lifted up the floorboards and hidden in the floor was the two briefcases.
He picked up one of them and placed it on the bed. He opened it, reached inside it and pulled out a gun.
