Chapter 5
Connor and Wendy were looking around the house; whilst sitting on the sofa. "This is a really nice house," says Connor. "Yeah, it must be hard when it's just the two of them," says Wendy. Suddenly, Wendy's phone was ringing. "Sorry, I gotta take this." "Don't worry, it's fine." Wendy stood up and walked to a window. She saw it was Jennifer that's calling her.
"Hey mum, I'm ok. I'm at a friend's house," says Wendy. "Wendy, did you forget what day today is?" says Jennifer. "Mum? What's wrong?" "Tonight, there's going to be a full moon! You need to get back before you change!" Wendy looked outside and saw that the sun is disappearing. "Oh shit. I'm leaving now." "Be careful Wendy."
Wendy hangs up the phone and says: "I'm sorry, but I can't stay long." Connor stands up and says: "Why? What's going on?" "My mum doesn't want me to be late back. It's really important." "You're not going anywhere." Connor and Wendy turned around and saw Freddy pointing a gun at them. "Freddy?! What the fuck are you doing?!" says Connor.
"I waited months for this moment, and I'm tired of waiting. Wendy? Unless you want Connor to die, I suggest you call your parents and tell them to come here. Now!" "Wait! Why do you want my parents? Why are you doing this?!" says Wendy. "Because the three of you are going to pay for what you did to my family."
"What are you talking about? Who are you?" says Connor. Freddy smiles and says: "Freddy Talbot." Wendy's eyes widened and she says: "Talbot?" "Oh, I see you recognised that name." "Wendy? What is he talking about?" says Connor. "His dad is Red Talbot. He attacked my mum before I was born." "And now, he's dead. Because of your fucking parents!"
"Hang on. I thought your second name was O'Brian?" says Connor. "That was my mum's second name. But I like Talbot better." "Freddy? Your dad's death was an accident. Why would it be because of my parents?" "Because, when he was released from the Monster Detention Centre, my mum wouldn't let him see me. Because he accidentally attacked your mum. Because he was seen as a savage Werewolf."
"It wasn't an accident, he attacked my mum on purpose," says Wendy. "I don't care!" says Freddy. "My dad was a good man. And your dad made everyone think he wasn't." Wendy looked outside and saw that it was night. She then took a deep breath before kicking off her shoes. "Wendy? What are you doing?" says Connor.
The full moon shore a light into the house and Wendy says: "I'm sorry you have to see this."
