Chapter 22: The fog is here.
"Well well well, if it isn't Quandale Dingle and some randoms?" "Jarvis, your end is now!" "Hah! Did you already forget? I curbstomped you the first time, what do you think is going to happen now, at my prime?" "Yeah right you have no power anymore, you can thank our planning for that." "Mnnhmm, sure, kill countless innocents just because that could maybe slightly dull me. I mean you could have needed an army to stop me. LOOK AT YOU, YOU AND WHAT ARMY?" A smirk formed across Dingle's face. "This army." From the ceiling, a blinding pillar of light struck down. Thousands of angels along with millions more of common citizens began making a formation. "Oh no how will I ever deal with this fodder?" With a snap, the teleporter crumbles to dust and the militia gets teleported away. "Why am I even here? I should be leading my army. Well, get them, my elite forces." Jarvis begins levitating away. Fari looked at the scene bewildered. "Okay, you have to be kidding, we gotta ner-"
He got slammed down to the wall from a punch, a bone shattering sound reverberating across the terminus. "We just wanted a concert, but if this is what it takes for you to learn your lesson, so be it." Four figures emerged from the shadows. "You wretched children will pay for your sins." An old decrepit man began launching fireball after fireball from mirrors. "I will take you to the pit where it burns myself." A revenant rushed directly towards Fari and began dragging him across the floor. "I'll rip you all apart, do you really think you all could outdo us in villany?" A demonic turtle spewed inferno onto the Pyro. "Snooping around realities you were not meant to be, causing more pain than good as usual?" A wrecking ball clubbed Quandale in the gut. "Of course, Meen, Ganon, Bowser, and Eggman, just who I was looking for." Quandale stood up ready to retaliate, but then got slashed by a rapier. "I may have bested millions in combat, but those millions were to benefit all of Europe, you slaughtered numbers I can't even comprehend all for a random man in the sky." Quandale moved to brandish his knife, but it got blasted out of his hands. "Father was right, you are just a killer, one to be executed right now." "Gosh dang it yall either are just completely lost it all or tried too hard to be edgy, you know what is edgy though? This swordfish." Quandale then took Quanlingling's swordfish, he wasn't going to use it either way. He then turned around to slash at the two artificial beings, not expecting to be parried.
When he got knocked back, he saw Pyro doing everything in his power to avoid getting overwhelmed by the Koopa King while Fari was being ragdolled by Meen and Ganon. Robotnik was preparing to attack Quanlingling, but he made the mistake of actually making any type of banter. Quandale turned back to his two opponents. "Napoleon, Mirus, I will delete you both." He pulled out the swordfish and began spinning, which is a good trick. Whirring in with the might of a tornado he went for Napoleon first. He jabbed the cheater, knocking him back before spinning around, bashing Mirus away. He would deal with this cheater first. No amount of lives would save him now. He gripped Napoleon and thrusted him in the air before rising up and slashing him 36 times, sending him into the ground and going full auto on the arrogant prick. He then pulled back and dunked Mirus into the ground, who was trying to third party. He then descended as well, throwing fist after fist at this doll. He began tapping into time manipulation, speeding up his punches to the point that to any other onlooker, it looked like a still image before slamming with one punch that created a shockwave across the room. Quandale then backhanded Napoleon who was trying to go for a backstab. He had more important things like saving his squadmates right now. He began with assisting Fari, raining incendiary ordinance on the two old hags. With this sudden distraction, Fari got the opportunity to use the wand and book to detain Ganon while Dingle began relentlessly slashing Meen, smashing loose debris into the wizard. After a good few tons of steel and rock were introduced into that man's cranium, Dingle moved on to assisting Pyro, but Pyro was actually holding up well and he got flame Crits ready. On Pyro's mark he engaged his rage while Dingle blasted the Koopa, until the monarch got reduced to a skeleton.
"Dang, why are these people so ea, wait, oh dang, Quanlingling is dead, that sucks. Guess this is the part where I avenge someone that the best relationship I ever had was not meeting him." The Dinglinator floated next to Eggman, crouching, catching a fist in midair. "Buddy, you should have known that being the strongest in a universe of children ain't going to cut it here." He then twisted Eggman's hand, before cutting a stray bullet in half and suplexing Eggman off of his machine and slamming him down on the floor. "Wait, where is Fuzzy Fred?" Quandale asked, before getting hit on the head by Fred's head.
"Well, this is why you never offshore your work. You had a nice warmup I presume, now I guess it's just me and you." Jarvis descended, tossing the body of Fred aside. "Little pest destroyed any way out, that's fine. My army is already invading, your death was always in my plans, so let it be here now, buster."
"Don't worry Quandale, you got us on your side!" "MmmMMMPPPH!" Fari and Pyro cheered excitedly, ready to finish this. "If you wanted my destruction, you are going to have to try harder than that." From the floor Mirus once again rose. Napoleon took another triumphant stand. "You imbeciles, I have survived much worse than your pathetic attempts. I have returned like I returned from Elba, re- ACK."
Both of the Androids were being raised from the ground. Jarvis looked at Quandale with a grin. "You, YO-" "You talk too much." With one hand motion the very form of Napoleon began to detonate, code particles blasting out before he himself exploded into thin air. "FATHER, Father, why?" "You were both fine artificial creations, but fine is not enough. Have you ever heard the term cog in the machine, I'll introduce you to your own." With another hand motion he began rending Mirus apart, limb from limb as the very sparks cried out for mercy. Then with a snap, her form disintegrated into dust. "Now of course this is a trade, so sorry, but not sorry." He made a simple snap and Fari and Pyro suddenly fell to the floor lifelessly. "Oh, you know what, I am not completely devoid of compassion, Fred, you can go free." Jarvis suddenly reconstructed Fred. "I can leave for my family?, LET'S GOOOO!" Fred walked out into the sky, and got eaten by a bird.
"Well I didn't plan for that, but now Quandale, you see the futility of fighting me. I can end anyone by my will." Quandale stood in shock at what just transpired. He suddenly felt dazed but quickly recovered. "Ah, so I am going to have to try on you." Jarvis said condescendingly. Quandale then stared directly at Jarvis and his very existence. "You know what, I'm going to get some dust in your eyes." "AHAHA, I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" Jarvis taunted, beginning to rise in power. The throne room itself began to get consumed until it solidified into a solid platform in the cosmos. Jarvis then turned to Quandale. "Quandale Dingle, what a stupid name for the last name of a dying world."
Jarvis starts instantly by firing a swarm of void projectiles at the Dinglinator. Dingle slashed two, dodging the rest. Jarvis then blitzed directly at Quandale, barely being blocked by a switchblade. Quandale retaliated with a burst from his handcannon machinegun, but he finally learned that his bullets are rather ineffective against people beyond the mortal realm. In frustration he blasted himself at Jarvis swinging his gun at the cryptid. He watched in horror as Jarvis stopped it midair before he slammed Dingle back with a backhand. The Dinglinator was sent flying back, it was clear that he was going to have to try something else. Using gravity, he began clumping up asteroids and launched them at Jarvis. Of course Jarvis blasted the asteroids easily, but he didn't anticipate Quandale Dingle flanking Jarvis and getting a few good slashes before a tendril caught the blade.
"Very clever, very clever, one problem, THIS." Jarvis summoned a black hole and launched it at Quandale. The Dinglinator moved back, struggling with the pull, during this struggle Jarvis launched himself at Quandale, but he didn't anticipate the juke being launched into the black hole. "You know what, that is a very good gambit, but you are going to need more than a trap to stop me. You are going to need something more than you." Jarvis launched out and fired a massive beam that Quandale wasn't prepared for. Getting ragdolled he was in free fall as Jarvis teleported above him and slammed him into the ground. Quandale was losing ground, being pushed closer and closer to the edge. He spent so much of this adventure so of his life basing his strategy on working alone. It was only in the moments where he trusted in others where he really, wait, is this really going to boil down to allowing others to help in the most anticlimactic way, relying on a higher power?
"My son, you are so close, don't falter now." "Freeman, how can you speak to me from here?" "You did a good job baiting Jarvis into my territory, you can beat him back. Don't worry my boy, we are coming." Quandale at this moment began to feel rejuvenated by the power of very convenient contact. Power and hope begin to fill Dingle like every stereotypical ending. "Not sure why I waited until now, but you know what, you've piqued my interest. Just remember, you got spectators," "Huh. Guess I can step up my game now. Jarvis, if you are the void, call me null." Quandale stated, rushing back into battle.
Jarvis released another flurry of orbs, but Dingle dispelled them instantly. Jarvis then blitzed to Quandale and began to launch slam after slam but Quandale responded equally with furious strikes. The Dinglinator then made a right hook knocking away Jarvis. Using newfound power, he launched a dying star at Jarvis, watching it supernova directly at the figure. Dingle looked at the explosion, waiting for what was coming next. From the bottom Jarvis blitzed at rates Quandale had never seen before. Jarvis got a few cheap shots before Quandale caught his fist and swung it into the middle of the platform. Jarvis stood up, leaking void energy and void particles flying off of him, floating to the opposite side of Quandale. "You have been a thorn for long enough, no matter, I'll end you now. It's time for you to wither."
Jarvis then began summoning and concentrating his power into a beam. A beam of pure void began to be fired at Quandale. He tried sidestepping it, but it tracked him, forcing him to use his gun. For once, the bullets were actually doing anything. The mix of void and lead created an equilibrium. Dingle rolled his eyes. "Of course, all fights just have to end with a be-." Quandale got knocked back into the wall. That's what he gets for yapping during a climatic power exchange. Quandale then changed his gun to fuller auto and began concentrating, shifting the favor to him. Jarvis, sensing his disfavor, poured more of his power into the beam, sending it back at Quandale. He then completely locked in and turned on fullest auto. The bullet hail began overcoming the void, ripping away some of Jarvis. With a screech, Jarvis put everything, truly pushing back things back to Quandale and he had no more settings to switch to. The beam was now awfully close to him, he could feel the burn and the freeze of pure void.
"Of all the times to be late, why is it now?" Quandale thought. He was beginning to lose out to the void and the light, the aura of Jordan was nowhere in proximity. The void began to creep closer and closer. Suddenly, from nowhere a strange type of blade appeared in his hands. On it was attached a note. "Member the Alamo." He felt the sheer power of the weapon and decided to fire it back. "Gee, I never thought void was this inky, the perfect thing to write your death warrant with." Quandale then fired the weapon. The blade instantly pierced Jarvis. From the blade an overwhelming wave of force followed. The last thing Quandale saw of Jarvis was surprise as the figure got completely obliterated by the weapon. There ain't going to be any reconstructions. Quandale then went down on the floor to catch a breath.
*Angelic and hopeful music begins playing* "Never worry my son I have sensed your danger and I have come to save you from this abomination." From the ceiling light began to pour though as a creature of celestial light emerged. "For the will of Jordan Freeman, the only one fit to rule this reality, I, the archangel of judgment, sentence you Jarvis to annihilation." The archangel then fired a pure torrent of light completely obliterating nothing. "Wait, Jarvis has already been erased, then THIS WAS ALL FOR NOTHING, I QUIT!"
The archangel then teleports out. Emerging from where the archangel once stood was the entire army of Heaven and walking down was Jordan Freeman himself. "I am so proud of you for what you have done. You saved everything and everyone from death." "No worries." "I didn't forget my word, once we get back to Heaven, I will return you back home as promised." "Thanks, as long as I am working with saints, I welcome you." *Chuckle.* "Well then my son, let's get going."
