They were going to the Southern Air Temple, one of the first places Aang and Katara went to.

Aang said "I think we should check on Ba Sing Se."

Katara said "Why?"

Aang said "To check on our friends and we can tell Zuko to tell his soldiers to track and hunt us. You know, to make it more real. "

Katara said "That's a great idea!"

They landed at the gaang house in Ba Sing Se.

Aang and Katara held hands. Aang knocked on the door. Sokka opened the door and said "Aang, Katara. Good to see you!"

Katara said "Good to see you too!"

Sokka said "Wow Aang, you grew taller than me."

Katara said "Aunt Wu said I would marry a tall man."

Sokka said "You know, that fortunetelling thing might be real."

Aang said "I know it is."

Sokka said "Come on in."

Aang and Katara came inside. They saw the whole gaang eating breakfast. Aang said "Hello guys!"

Everyone looked at him in surprise and said "Aang!"

Zuko hugged Aang and Katara and said "What brings you here?"

Aang said "Well we needed your help, we are going to travel the same path we took when the war was there. We are starting at the Southern Air Temple. I thought you all could join. And to make things more realistic, I want you to send your soldiers to follow us around the world."

Zuko said "Great idea, just one thing. Soldiers will also be hunting me down right?"

Aang said "Yep."

Zuko said "Sounds weird, but can do."

Aang said "Great, you guys can have breakfast. Afterwards join us outside."

Aang and Katara went outside and cuddled. Katara said "I love you Sweetie."

Aang said "I love you too Sweetie."

AFTER BREAKFAST:

The gaang hopped on Appa and took off.

They had fun playing truth and dare on Appa.

Aang looked at a mountain range and said "Look, Patola Mountain Range, we are close."

Katara said "Hey Sweetie, remember we had our date over on the other cliff."

Aang said "Yeah, it was fun."

Aang said "There it is, the Southern Air Temple."

The gaang looked at it and said "Wow, this is AMAZING!"

Katara had already been there but still loved the view.

They landed on the temple's base.

Katara opened a door to a room.

Katara said "Hey Sweetie, what is this room for?"

Aang said "You found it! That's my room."

Katara said "Looks nice."

Katara said "Is this your bed?"

Aang said "Yes."

Katara smelled the sheets and layed down on it.

Katara said "It smells like you and is comfy."

Aang said "It is comfy."

Katara said "What's this?" She held up 4 toys.

Aang said "Those were my favourite toys when I was a kid. They were the avatar relics. I picked them out of thousands of other toys. That's how the monks knew I was the avatar."

Katara said "Which one is your most favourite?"

Katara said "The fan one. You pull the string and the fan flies."

Katara pulled the string and the fan was flying.

Aang said "That toy is a cultural Air Nomad toy."

Katara said "It's fun. Let's take them for you future children."

Katara blushed and so did Aang.

Aang said "Sure."

Katara looked through his drawers and found a note.

It said
_

Dear Monk Gyatso,

I really like you and wanted to spend time with you because you were my guardian.
I eavesdropped on the meeting you and the other monks had. I did not want to leave
my home and go to the Eastern Air Temple. So I'm running away. Thanks for everything.

Love, Aang.

Some of the text was smudged off by a drop of some liquid. It was probably a tear from Aang.

Aang sat beside Katara.

Katara said "Hey Aang, I know how sad you felt when you left this temple 104 years ago."

Aang said "You looked at the note, I know. I'm just happy to have you though."

Katara kissed Aang and said "So, you aren't sad about leaving?"

Aang said "I am sad, but I also realized that if I stayed I wouldn't get to meet you." Aang hugged Katara.

Katara hugged back and said "Well, I'm glad."

The gaang clapped from the door.

Everyone was in tears except for Mai of course.

Sokka said "That's so sad but kind of happy."

Aang said "How long were you guys here?"

Sokka said "The whole time."

Aang said "Anyway, who wants to play Airball with me?"

Sokka backed out. Zuko was about to raise his hand. Sokka held it and said "Better not play it. It'll put you in a world of pain."

Zuko listened to him.

Katara said "I will."

They held hands and went to the airball arena.

Aang said "I will go easy."

Katara said "Oh come on, play your best. Now I know waterbending."

They invented a new game called air-water ball.

Aang took the serve in a cool way. Katara sliced it back. Aang kicked it with airbending, Katara made a water tentacle, jumped and smashed. Aang missed the ball and went through the goal gate.

Katara said "Yes, I won!"

Aang said "You are a natural."

Katara said "Thanks."

They had dinner. Katara said "Hey Sweetie, can we sleep on your bed."

Aang said "Sure."

They went to his room and cuddled.

Katara said "When the group sleeps, can we explore the rest of the temple?"

Aang said "I was planning that."

They both giggled.

Aang said "Let's check out the staff room. I can probably find a new staff. Not saying mine is not good. Something more tradational."

Katara said "Ok then, let's go."

They saw the gaang asleep. They went to the staff room.

Katara said "What are those pictures up there?"

Aang said "That is where the avatar's love is drawn. Let me draw you."

Katara stood in a beautiful way. Aang looked at her and couldn't stop looking.

Katara said "Sweetie, will you draw me or not."

Aang said "Sorry, just kinda dozed off."

Katara said "I know why."

Aang drew her and revealed it to her. It looked realistic.

Katara said "I never knew you could draw."

Aang said "Airbenders draw to express how they feel."

After a while they went back to Aang's room and slept.
