The next day, the Staff of Choas was sitting at the table, and the Pines family surrounded it.

Dipper asked, "So let me get this straight, you remember Euclidia because you and Bill were best friends when he was little?"

The Staff chirped, "That's right, Ursa cub! The days we spent were so precious to me."

Stanford asked, "So where were you when he destroyed it?"

The Staff replied, "I was here! Waiting for him! Bill sent me ahead of him just in case things turned sour with Inga."

Stanley asked, "You honestly expect us to believe that this was all just some misunderstanding?"

The Staff of Choas sighed, "Of course not, but who else would know any of this?"

Mable answered, unsure, "Time Baby?"

Dipper glared at her angrily.

Mable asked, "What?"

Stanley asked, "Is there anything else we should know?"

The Staff replied, "Prime lives!"

Stanford stood up and asked, "Mabel, did you finish that plush?"

Mable held up a teddy bear with one eye and chirped, "I sure did!"

Stanford took the bear from Mabel and turned to Stanley.

Stanford said, "Lee, It's time to let him go."

Stanley was bewildered, "Woah, Woah, Woah! You don't seriously believe I still have a piece of our triangle tyrant in my head, do you?"

Stanford snapped, "Don't start that with me, Lee! You know better than anyone that your memories are restoring means Bill was being restored too!"

Stanford shoved the teddy into Stanley's arms and said, "Now, do what's right for the sake of the family you claim to love so much."

Stanley sighed, picking up the bear and staring into it. He shook the little bear's paw. Instantly, a gold glow left Stanley's eyes and head and entered the Teddy Bears.

Stanley asked, "How do you like your new vessel, Cipher?"

Bill took a moment to adjust to his new fabric form and chirped, "Beats existing in your creaky body, old man!"

Stanley huffed playfully, "Oye!"

Bill chuckled.

Dipper asked, "Shouldn't the unicorn hair shield keep Bill's magic out?"

Stanford said, "When he's at full power, yes! But it would seem both Teddy Cipher here, and our new Wizard ally isn't as powerful as Prime."

Mable asked, "Where did all that power go?"

Stanford said, "Who knows, it could be just a side effect of having his essence of his being erased."

Teddy Cipher snapped, "No! It's because Rephic is actively draining Bills! I should know! He tried to drain me!"

Stanley said, punching his hand, "Luckily, I know a thing or two about punching!"

Teddy dropped to the ground, a bit annoyed.

"Then that only leaves one question," Dipper said and then asked, "Why is Rephic draining other Bills of their magic, and what would that mean for Prime Gravity Falls?"

Teddy stood up, dusted himself off, and said, "Well, if I were to hazard a guess, it's because Rephic plans to simulate all Bills into Prime so he can escape from where he is and get revenge!"

Stanley said, "Then we should be trying to stop him!"

Teddy said, "But that's just the thing, me and Wizard aren't the only Bills in the multiverse who oppose Rephic."

Teddy projected a little image of other versions of himself from his eye.

Teddy explained, "I see several Ciphers refusing Rephic."

Mable noted, "Hey, they all befriended SpongeBob in some way!"

Stanley said, "Okay, that's adorable!"

Stanford began thinking.

Dipper asked, "Is there a way for us to talk to these other Bills?"

Taddy blinked away the projection and said, "Not without a portal!"

Stanford said excitedly, "We still have mine in the lab down below. I can repair it, and we can gather them all to stop Rephic before he tries to free Prime!"

"Now hang on," Stanley said and then asked, "How do we know you're not just lying to us so you can try to destroy our world again?"

The Staff lifted off the table and flew over to Teddy, hitting him in his plush head.

Teddy Cipher whined, "Ow."

He grabbed the Staff and said, "That's how."

Mable said, "I'll go tell Wizard the good news!"

Dipper asked, "Don't you have a date with Gideon?"

Mable sighed in a longingly kind of way impulsively, "Gideon, my sweet marshmallow."

Mable shook herself to snap out of it. She then said, "That's not until later tonight."

Dipper said, "Okay."

She then rushed off. As she ran through town, She bumped right into Gideon. Pink stained her cheeks once more.

Gideon said, "Mabel, my darling, It's a pleasure to bump into you so early for our date."

Mable affection impulsively flared, "Oh, Gideon."

She smacked herself and said, "As much as I want to stay and chat, I'm on a rather important mission. Our date can wait till I'm done."

Gideon said, "But surely you want to spend as much time as possible with me since you're so in love. Right?"

Mable felt conflicted and said, "Well, I guess so. Maybe we can see Wizard together!"

Gideon asked, "Wizard? Why do you want to see Wizard?"

Mable said, "We came up with a plan with Teddy Cipher to stop Rephic before he can help Prime Bill escape from where he is!"

Gideon said, "Oh, Can I help?"

Mable said, "Of course, we'll probably need the whole zodiac!"

Gideon took out his phone to send a mass text that read, "Meet at McGucket's mansion."

Gideon and Mable then held hands with Gideon as they went.
