Clover groaned loudly.
"I don't get it! I've met hundreds of guys! Why can't any of them ever meet my needs?! Why can't I find Mr. Right?!"
"Why not ask Danny?" Alex suggested.
"Danny? Eww... he's only moderately cute. Like, average cute. He's not a stud." Clover went.
"I think she means to ask a guy why you're not finding help meeting a guy," Sam suggested.
Clover huffed and rolled her eyes.
"I guess that can work." She said, giving in.
Later
"So, since you're just average, I figure an average guy like you can figure out why I'm having trouble meeting Mr. Right," Clover said.
Danny glared at her in displeasure.
"And I should help after you bluntly called me average. Why?" Danny asks.
"He's got you there, Clover." Sam points out.
"Look... I'll buy you lunch from Sushi Shishi, okay?" Clover asks, getting annoyed.
"I don't really eat a lot of sushi. I also don't like overpriced places like those." Danny responded.
"Fine! I'll order you a pizza! Just help me?!" Clover asks.
"Fine... so, what do you need me to do?" Danny asks.
Clover then handed out the long pile of papers she once used for her questionnaire.
"Behold!" She went happily as Danny observed it. "Bluey green eyes, buff but not bulky, names starts with a T..."
Danny took the papers and quickly skimmed through them.
"Mm-hmm... mm-hmm... mm-hmm... I think I found your problem, Clover." He went.
Hearing that, she smiled widely and had her eyes sparkle with hope.
"You did?!"
Without dropping his smile, Danny picked up the papers.
"You're... ungodly picky." He said before dropping them on the floor, his face never dropping the smile or looking away from her.
Clover gawked at the papers as Sam and Alex nodded.
"Oh, that makes sense..." Alex went.
"Pollution aside, you make a good point," Sam nodded.
"I am not picky! I prefer... highly selective." Clover defended.
"That's just what picky people say to defend themselves," Danny stated with an eye roll.
"So, what? I'm supposed to date a nerd?!" Clover asks.
"For all you know, the next buff guy or musician or whatever is also a gamer, a comic book artist, or something else. Again, you're just picky," Danny said.
Clover, gritting her teeth, felt her temper rise.
"I AM NOT PICKY!" She shouted, turning away and storming off.
"Huh... that was almost attractive..." Danny admits with a small smile.
