Chapter 2
Luna: "Come on little bro. We're having a meeting in Lori's room to discuss project day."
Great, now I have to go! Since my chance of escape is now gone. Hmph! So out I went, from my room all the way to Lori and Leni's. Hold on…I turn around to go get my shoes. Anyway…upon walking into my sister's room I could see that all my siblings were already seated for the meeting. All except for Lori, who is standing behind her desk. Ready to bang her white heel against it to get our attention.
Lola: "Well, it's about time!" (Glares at me): "What were you even doing anyway."
I rolled my eyes, trying to think of an answer. But before I can say anything…
Lori: "Take your seat already Lincoln. We have a busy day ahead of us."
I look around the room for an open spot to sit on. Luckily I found one on Lori's bed, between Lucy and Luan. But as I sit down, I feel like someone is staring at me. I look around and see Lucy looking straight at me…well maybe…She could just be looking over at Lori, or have her eyes closed. I can't tell at times with Lucy's bangs covering her eyes.
Lucy: "Hey Lincoln…"
Hey Lucy…Just then Lori bangs her heel to start the meeting.
Lori: "Okay guys, today is Project Day. And for the first time in Loud Family history, we all have projects to do."
You can say that again…Lori then points to a whiteboard next to her. Sitting on the rim of it are different color makers.
Lori: "I want each of us to write or draw what they need to do today. I'll go first…"
In light blue, Lori drew a golf ball and club and explained that she needed help to knock off some strokes from her golf game. Luna takes her turn with a purple marker and draws some musical instruments: A guitar, violin, and a keyboard.
Luna: "My instruments need a major tunning dudes."
Lisa: "I would like to point out that a keyboard doesn't need tuning, Luna. It probably just requires a change of batteries."
Luna (Rolls her eyes): "It would still be too much for me to do it all on my own, Lis."
Next in turquoise, Leni wrote, to our surprise, a whole paragraph. Saying that she needed help setting up a closet organizer that she bought for her and Lori's closet. As well as to separate their clothes. With the yellow marker, Luan drew a stage with wheels underneath it and a handle on the side.
Luan: "I want to build a traveling stage for my birthday party gigs. That way I won't have to worry about the parents who book me not having one in their backyard."
Then Lynn and Lana got up and …both grabbed the red marker?! Uh oh…A game of tug-of-war soon quickly started. Come on guys! Why don't you take turns with the red marker? I said to them with an eye roll. They look over at me with big smiles.
Lynn and Lana: "Thanks Lincoln!"
Lynn went first, and before she handed over the maker to Lana. She drew a line to separate their drawings. Then Lola went with the pink marker. Lisa with the green marker. And Lily went last as she used the violet marker to draw all of us giving her crib a makeover.
Luan: "All we need now is to decide whose project to do first."
