Disclaimer: I do not own the anime/manga "Naruto" or the video game "God of War" (2018), and the only thing I own is this alternate/parallel story that I wrote for fun.

Naruto and his older brother looked with amazement at the land split in two, it was obvious that this was not here before and it was a consequence of the fight between father and the stranger.
"What...? How did this happen?" asked Atreus without taking his eyes off the cliff which he couldn't see had a bottom... which made it more terrifying.
Kratos walked down the split ground silently followed by his two sons, he didn't feel much like talking about it... but Atreus was getting more and more insistent.
"Who was that guy?"
Our beloved protagonist was looking around carefully, no doubt, the fight between father and the unknown guy must have been unique.
"I don't know," Kratos answered without much desire to talk about that subject.
The half-god/giant boy didn't give up and kept pressing with his questions.
"What did he want from us? We're nobody," Atreus said with his gaze on the bottom of the cliff. "Did you kill him?" he asked again and at the same time climbed onto his father's back so he could cross safely.
The ancient Greek god crossed the narrow cliff clinging to the wall.
"I did what I had to do," Kratos replied with no regrets about snapping the neck of the guy who dared to disturb his peace.
Naruto followed close behind (without much trouble) his father and older brother, but suddenly, the three of them stopped as a tree broke loose from the ground and ended up falling into the cliff.
"You could have died..." commented Atreus almost in a whisper because seeing how tired father got no doubt that tragic end could have happened. "Don't you ever leave us alone again, okay?" he said as he jumped over the cliff with a touch of difficulty.
The ancient Greek god looked at his eldest son and saw the concern on his face.
"Agreed." Kratos promised without a moment's hesitation and he too smoothly jumped the obstacle.
Naruto smoothly jumped the cliff and now he observed that it was their turn to climb a wall, and that same they had to do to continue their journey.
"You had to kill people before, didn't you? Are you used to that?" Atreus asked question after question with his gaze on his younger brother who followed them closely, for a moment he was a little envious because he would like to do that without the help of his father.
The ancient Greek god searched with his eyes for his youngest son and to his peace of mind he was following them closely without any problems.
"We do what we must to survive, child," Kratos answered with sincerity because in this cruel world the strong sea survived and the weak sadly died at the hands of the former.
Naruto agreed with his father's words, but with the difference that he wanted to help all the 'weak' like the humans and the giants (Jötun), the latter were victims of the Aesir gods commanded by Odin, who sent his son Thor to slaughter them mercilessly until almost exterminating them... he hated that damned God of Thunder.
And every time he heard his mother Faye's stories that included that guy... he couldn't help but get annoyed to the point where he wanted to tear him apart with his hands-.
"Naruto!"
The boy with tousled black spiky hair almost fell off the cliff at his father's scream, but luckily the latter caught him just in time before such a tragedy happened.
"Concentrate," Kratos commanded sternly, but there was also a trace of concern on his face for his youngest son because this had never happened before... he would have to keep an eye on him, just in case.
The coal-dark-eyed boy immediately put those thoughts aside and focused his gaze on his father.
"Yes, sir," Naruto answered without any hesitation at all and incidentally arranged his leather bag because he almost dropped it due to his distraction. "This anger... it's much worse than when I accessed the nine-tailed state/mode..." he thought seriously and a bit worried because it was very difficult for him to control himself when he was consumed by that feeling he feared so much to harm the people he loved.
Atreus watched his younger brother in silence because it was the first time that something like this happened... by the expression of the latter seemed very angry with something or someone. When a break he would ask him what was bothering him so much and by the way he wanted to know more about that ability to sense the presence of living beings because it was obviously very useful.
"Well... Let's move on," Kratos said as he corroborated that his youngest son was already focused again and had put that anger aside. "I hope it's only temporary..." he thought when he withdrew his gaze from Naruto, who was following them closely in silence.

Omake 5
Naruto's eyes shot open and he tried to stand up quickly, but stopped when he saw a familiar figure staring at him with his arms crossed.
"Mr. Kratos...?"
The Ghost of Sparta never abandoned his scowl and rarely (never) smiled, but this time he was more serious than usual and the reason was to find his youngest son unconscious on the ground. It was obvious he was worried.
"What happened?"
The spiky black haired boy froze as he realized that the man who raised him saw him possibly use his Chakra, so far no one had seen him do that and it was a secret he had kept very well... he prayed in his mind to Kami-sama that it would remain a secret because he was not yet ready to show his abilities.
"I... trained hard."
Kratos just by looking at him knew that wasn't the whole truth, but he didn't keep insisting because he saw that his son wasn't hurt but tired and that brought him some calm.
"... Make sure it doesn't happen a next time, got it, kid?"
Naruto sighed a sigh of relief in his mind, thankful that his foster father didn't fill him with questions because he had no idea what they were going to tell him. In the end, he answered as follows:
"Yes, sir..."
