Hey, there time to get back into this series and see how things will play out as the X-men will see a demon for the first time. Look, there will be an OC Demon that will appear that will be the reason of why these demons are here, the one that is that is a regular Demon with Blood Demon Art, but he is no way near 12 Moons ranks, the one that sent him that is the one I am still developing. At this moment, I don't have nothing special, plus the story that I got inspired to do this one hasn't been updated in almost a year. Well, so let's go around and see what will happen now.

At the Danger Room

Its been a few day since the news have reported that gruesome story. It's been a nonstop boot camp for the X-Men, the New Mutans on the other hand have been having their usual training with some hard times here and there. Xavier still couldn't find this so called ``cannibal``, which made him more worried and even wonder if the being was a mutant or not but that was going to deep into the investigation.

At the moment in the Danger Room both Cyclops and Jean were conducting a new training regime, making the rest of the team do their best and show what they got. Jean was levitating projectiles while cyclops was shooting his laser beams to simulate an attack

''They are coming right at us! Kurt, try to give me a lift!'' Said Kitty to the blue skin mutant.

'Alright!'' Said Nightcrawler grabbing Kitty and then disappearing.

BAMF

While that plan worked for now the others weren't so luck, Rogue got hit in the stomach by a projectile while Spike kept shooting at Jean projectiles and he was loosing balance.

''Urgh!'' Said Rogue getting hurt.

''I will be there Rogue!'' Said Evan.

''I am already better, keep going.'' Said Rogue feeling better.

''Getting better at this Rogue.'' Said Cyclops with a smile.

''Maybe I am adapting to this training.'' Said Rogue.

''Well, I am glad to see it.'' Said Cyclops.

''You are doing a great job in here Scott, be proud.'' Said Jean praising Cyclops as they both have puppy eyes at each other.

Seeing the two banter made Rogue curse a little bit in her thought, she was glad the professor wasn't there to read her mind and comment on her language. She didn't know if could go forward with Scott or if he would see her more than just a friend.

''What don't they go out already instead of this teen drama crap.'' Thought Rogue.

''Hey Rogue, are you ok?'' Asked Kitty.

Rogue saw Kitty and Kurt coming towards her, and she had to get back to regular state so she didn't looked jealous.

''Sorry, I am still a little hurt and I am trying not to think on the pain. Is harder than I imagined.'' Said Rogue with a little lie.

''Ok, we can go to Dr. Mccoy and check your stomach later.'' Said Kurt.

''Thanks, I might need a checkup later.'' Said Rogue.

''don't worry we can go with you.'' Said Kitty being friendly with you.

The two went to Rogue side while she kept seeing Scott and Jean just being close to each other, she was starting to feel like a creepy already.

''What if he just sees me as a friend?'' Thought Rogue.

Scott and Jean were too busy talking that they didn't notice most of the group already up and looking at them a little bit annoyed. After a minute or two passing and then they noticed the group.

''something wrong?'' Asked Scott

''Uh…are we going to continue or are you two just going to keep talking?'' Asked Kitty.

"Oh yeah, I guess training is done for today.'' Said Scott.

"Thank God, I am starving!'' Said Evan all exhausted.

The main group went off to the mansion to wash up or eat, but Scott stopped them to talk with them.

''The professor might ask question for us later. Be on alert for any mental message.'' Said Scott.

''I hope isn't something complicated, after all this I want to eat, take a bath and sleep.'' Said Evan.

''We might be under attack; we need to get as much help as we can.' Said Kitty.

''Yes, I don't want to imagine a mutant who feast on human flesh. That would be the worst power of all, it's more like a curse.'' Said Kurt

The group went and talked about the mysterious creature that killed those cops. They wonder what kind of person would be so messed up on the head to attack some random people.

''What if it's not a mutant?'' Thoguht Rogue.

At Cerebrus

Xavier was searching for the so called ``cannibal`` mutant, but even after 5 straight hours he wasn't able to locate this individual, which was a big problem. Soon Hank arrived at the base to talk with Charles for an update.

''Any news?'' Asked Hank

''Nothing.'' Said Xavier nervous.

''How is he able to stay hidden so well from your mental range?'' Asked Hank.

''I don't know which makes me worried.'' Said Xavier.

''Me too, we never faced with a mutant that you couldn't find it. Even if they have awaken their X-Gene recently you should've spotted them in a instant. All of this is not making any sense which also drives me insane.'' Said Hank.

The blue haired man was speaking the true, Charles was a man full of patience but this situation was giving him some headaches and a lot of mental stress. All he wanted was the safety of his students and making sure that no innocent mutant would be persecuted because of a mistake on the news.

''He would have to be hiding somewhere around the forests of Bayville.'' Said Xavier.

''Why would be hiding at the moment?'' Asked Hank.

''Maybe some weakness or injuries?'' Asked Xavier.

''It could be, but we don't know if they have tough skin or a regeneration factor.'' Said Hank.

''All theories are possible.'' Said Xavier.

"Urgh, these theories will preoccupied us for hours. Do you have any leading ones?'' Asked Hank.

''Nothing at the moment. Facing unknown problems is the worst problem I can think.'' Said Xavier.

''I agree Chuck.'' Said a gruff voice.

The two turned to see Logan who looked angry and a bit concerned.

''Do you have any ideas Logan?'' Asked Xavier.

''I don't know, for the first time in a while I am feeling like a prey instead of the Predator. Trust me, we are being played like chickens with no head, just waiting for whatever this thing is to attack us.'' Said Logan

The two serious mutants didn't like this idea, it almost feels like they are not up against a misunderstood person but instead an actual monster that was willing to kill anyone that come near them.

''I will keep this in mind Logan, at the moment for the night routine I would like to be around the X-Men.'' Said Xavier.

''Who is coming?'' Asked Logan now not sure if all those kids could handle that monster.

''Just the main team, the New Mutants are not ready for a quest like this.'' Said Xavier.

The answer made Logan a little bit calm, while he doesn't think the main team is ready, they had more field experience than the New Mutants. Now he hoped they were ready to what might come at night.

''Great, what about good our rusty? Any news on him?'' Asked Logan.

''No news on Eric or the Brotherhood.'' Said Xavier.

''This is also something we need to look out, if they decided to go after whoever is doing this we might have more troubles than we imagined.'' Said Hank.

The group nods at that, Logan wouldn't mind if Creed gets messed up by this monster, as long he didn't die at their hands, he would be fine. Also, Mystique brats while she doesn't like them he didn't wanted them to be killed or slaughter.

''I will check on them, you two should eat two. Specially you Chuck.'' Said Logan.

The two looked surprised to see Logan sounding concerned by their health status. He is not the most dedicated person in the world, but he shows that he cared. Hank had also agreed with him so he decided to roll Charles to the kitchen for a meal and also have a small break.

At night

The demon was about to come out of the cave, he saw the moon glowing as he felt safe to come out.

''Another a great night to hunt, no Demon Hunter for miles to see. This must be a pure paradise.'' Said the demon with a smirk.

He had his cave full of remains of his prey, a bunch of bones and bodies parts all around. He didn't know how he would come back to the infinite Castle, but he knew that Lord Muzan might have some trick upon his sleeve.

''Well time to go hunting.'' Said the demon going out to hunt.

At the Institute

Xavier was using the Cerberus once again to look for the mysterious enemy, as he tried to find him, he sensed a couple walking around the woods of Bayville, however he soon sensed a lot of fear and horror in their minds.

''Uh?'' Asked Xavier confused.

Then Xavier sensed the thoughts of horror of the couple as he hears their scream of pain.

''What is…'' Thought him as he heard their cries.

''AAAAAAAH!' Scream the couple as they are being slaughtered.

''My god!'' Thought Xavier.

The old man knew it was time to act so he was about to send the team.

''To me my X-Men.'' Thought him to everyone in the mansion.

5 minutes later

The entire mansion was up, and the main team was already with their uniform and ready to come. Xavier had a look of worry, but Logan, Ororo and Hank had a serious expression on their faces, he knew they had to come.

The telepath looked at Scott and making sure he was fine in going out for this mission.

''What is their location?'' Asked Scott.

''The woods, they are using a hunting scenario.'' Said Xavier.

''You want all of us coming, Charles?'' Aked Ororo.

''It would be for the best, just you are all and the main group. I will stay with the New Mutants.'' Said Xavier.

''don't worry professor, we can take care of you as well.'' Said Amara.

''Yes, we might be new, but we are no slacker.'' Said Bobby.

The small banter made Xavier laugh a bit, but now it was time to send the main group out.

"We are going out Chuck, wish us luck.'' Said Logan putting his mask.

''Please, be careful.'' Said Xavier as the main X-Men went towards the Blackbird.

A little late

At the Woods

The demon was enjoying his meal, which was a couple who was exploring these areas. He was just chowing down his meal while talking to himself.

''I have to say these people have some unique taste, but nothing major.'' Said the demon.

Then he sensed light which made him confused since it was still night, and the sun would take a few more hours to come up.

''Light?'' Asked him confused.

Then a group of people dropped out of a flying mechanism as they all stare at the Demon.

''Stop with these atrocities!'' Scream Cyclops coming down as him and the X-Men see the monster.

The Demon just smirk at this he saw those people and he could smell the difference. He wonders what kind of taste they had.

''Well…I think you're the so called mutants.'' Said the demon with a smirk.

Ok, it's not the best written chapter, even I have to say this is not the best but I am just need to keep this up so we can continue. I want to get around so we can get up to Tanjiro which is still going to take either 4 or 5 chapters, yes it's a buildup thing. Sometimes these stuffs are annoying but it works out, I hate stories that ended up like ``and then this happen don't question it``.
