Hi there, back with another chapter and we are getting near the long-awaited fight against Riser. I have a ton of ideas for that fight, I know I stretched this story to fault, but hey at least you all have something to do while looking over. At least the story is so far long, and you can have fun while reading and I am glad that I got this way.

I am doing things in my opinion in a good pace, I feel that I can end season 1 this year. I don't know, but lets make sure that happens because there is something planned after the battle that I really want to write about it.

Also, I got into a talk with someone saying that the reason that Issei doesn't have sex with the girls is because he is still traumatized by Raynare and I have to say this is 100% shit. He is traumatized? If he was, he wouldn't let any girl come near him, saying Issei has PTSD is the same as saying Naruto doesn't eat ramen, because if that was the case he wouldn't let Asia, Rias or any of the girls move with him or he'll even come near a girl at all. This is a weak excuse, the real reason is because DxD was still being published in an public ligh novel imprint, they can get away with nudity and fan service but having sex is forbidden. When he does have sex is offscreen and he is already distant from his kid. Look, I already accept that the grab with Issei is that he is a MC which the viewer can see himself being in his shoes, because I will still look down on him until the day I die.

Sorry for this rant, but I wanted to express this and yeah keep your hate comments coming. Now lets start.

At isolated Moutain

The Peerage of Rias Gremory was going to this place, to what reason? To train. With the upcoming Rating Games tournament against Riser they had to work as hard as they could, luckily they had a good amount of time to train and Luffy would be the one to help them to get strong. At the moment Luffy was eating a giant piece of steak while holding a giant bag, the biggest one that the group had. Issei was with a smaller backpack, but he felt he was going to die.

"This hurts so much! I can't take this anymore.' Said Issei pissed.

"Come on Issei, this is nothing.'' Said Luffy with a smile.

"Easy for you to say! You are a monster way before I became a devil!'' Scream Issei.

"What are you talking about it?'' Asked Luffy.

Issei just saw that in frustration, he was trying to impress the girls but all that pain wasn't worthy. Luffy was taking all that luggage and was lifting as if was nothing, he was getting even more than Koneko who had a backpack bigger than her.

"Are we there yet?'' Asked Issei.

"Almost Issei, just be patient.'' Said Rias.

Rias thought the place of training would need to be somewhere they could go all out without having to worry about keeping a secret.

Riser Peerage was one of the strongest in the Underworld, they have to get creative and put all their effort in beating all those jerks. Just 10 days would be a short time, but Luffy had to be creative with even shorter time.

The group kept walking the mountains with no problem, none of them were flying so that's why it was taking too long. The girls were wearing kind revealing clothes as asula, this was the only thing that was keeping Issei mind on this plane of existence while Luffy was just thinking about kicking Riser.

Rias soon saw their destination and smiled to her friends.

"This is our stop. Welcome to our training grounds.' Said Rias pointing to a lovely Ivory Mansion with a glistening pond and a stargazing platform near it.

"Woah! This look so cool.'' Said Luffy excited.

"Finally, I thought I was going to die!'' Said Issei.

"What are you talking about it? You are not carrying as much as I.' Said Koneko with the giant backpack.

"Uh.'' Said Issei feeling a bit down.

"Stop complaining and get up, the real pain starts later.'' Said Lucy.

"Alright, first lets change clothes when we get there. Training session starts as soon as we arrive.'' Said Rias.

"Good.'' Said Luffy all excited.

"Wait wait!'' Said Issei not sure about that.

Rias just chuckle at that, seeing Luffy all excited even at these moments was kind of cute. He kept giving a positive attitude and that was very welcome in times like this when she felt her freedom would be taken away.

An hour later

At the Mansions

The girls all changed into their training gear, all wearing sports training clothes and some of them were even showing off a bit of her breast and curves. Raynare was just there to be a supportive person but the Fallen Angel decided to get stronger too, even thought she was not a member of the Peerage she felt like she owned her life to them. Rias and Akeno had no problem with that because she was no longer a threat and even if she decided to turn back they could kill them with no problem.

Meanwhile Luffy and the boys also changed into their training gear, of course Luffy was the buffest guy there even making Issei annoyed.

"If only had those big muscles, then I would have girls all over me.'' Said Issei.

"Well, we are here to train, I believe you can get big muscles too Issei.'' Said Kiba.

"You aren't jealous of that. You are a prince charming and Luffy has the body of a muscle-bound guy, how are you ok with that?'' Asked Issei.

"I am happy with my body, I get stronger to assist Rias-sama succeed, so when I decided to get stronger, I will go all out.'' Said Kiba.

"Yeah Kiba, you don't need giant muscle to say you're strong, just show them your determination and speed.'' Said Luffy.

"Thanks.'' Said Kiba with a smile.

"Fine, oh before we leave, I wanted to ask you something, why were you so pissed when we were in the church? Like you even talked about you have a dislike of Nuns and Fallen Angels.'' Said Issei remembering Kiba's words.

"Oh yeah, but you don't have that for Asia and Raynare? They are our friends.'' Said Luffy.

The knight had a little sad face, but he soon got back with a smile.

"I had a rough time in my past and they represent a big part of that. The president saved my life so I own my life deeply to her, Asia-chan I fully accepted as a member while Raynare despite her memory being lost is still going to take me some time to fully accept her as an ally, but so far she is ok.'' Said Kiba.

The two boys were a bit confused, but Luffy knew that whatever personal struggle Kiba was having he could eventually conquer those in the future. The main thing he was glad was that he didn't hold a grudge to the new members of the club.

"Well, that's good to hear, I am sure you will accept Raynare as a Nakama soon Kiba. I know that sometimes life can be thought, but if we just think about the past then what is the point of thinking of a future?'' Asked Luffy making the two boys had a look of surprised by his deep answer.

"Thanks, Luffy-kun, that means a lot to mean. Even if you're another world I consider you a deep and close friend.'' Said Kiba.

"Ha, don't worry!'' Said Luffy all simple.

Kiba just smiles with a great pride of Luffy, if he was also a devil he would be love to fight by his side. Issei saw that and also smile at Luffy easy going and soft-spoken style.

"He can make people change their mood with just a few words, what is his secret?'' Thought him.

At the lawn of the Mansion

Rias was coordinating the main training of all her members, Raynare was at the side with towels and water to help out whoever was in need. Kiba, Luffy and Issei were sparing while the girls were all dealing with magic.

Luffy was the main attack while Issei and Kiba main job was to survive as long as they could, this would teach them quick tactics and dealing with a bigger opponent.

Kiba was with some of his swords at hand ready to attack while Issei had a practice sword. Luffy was with his bare fist as always,

"Look out!'' Scream Issei as Luffy went to attack them and hit the floor.

Bam

Luffy just had a grim on his face as Issei looked terrified and Kiba kept a serious look.

"You guys are not even trying. Come on, keep going.'' Said Luffy.

"Alright Luffy-kun, you wish me to try.'' Said Kiba using his knight speed.

Kiba was faster for the human eye to see it, even Issei who was a devil was keeping a hard time getting used to that level. Luffy just kept a cool smile and sensed Kiba with his haki.

"His speed is really good, definitely would be great in a pirate ship.'' Thought him.

Then in a second Kiba launched at Luffy with a sword, going to pierce him.

"I am sorry Luffy-kun, but I promised the president to succeed in this training and I will do that!'' Said Kiba.

Luffy saw the sword coming toward and using his hand covered with armament Haki he grabbed that thing with no problem. It was covered with devil fruit powers, Magic or some other stuff it was just a sword, so it was easy for him to catch it. Kiba saw that in horror.

"Huh!'' Said him in shock as Luffy punched him in the chest with a great amount of strength.

Bam

"ARGH!''' Scream Kiba being tossed to a wall.

"Kiba!'' Scream Issei worried going to check on the blonde devil.

Kiba was having trouble getting up but Issei came to assist him.

"Are you alright?'' Asked Issei

"Yes, thanks for the help Issei-kun.'' Said Kiba.

"Don't spread it, I am just worried on what the president might think of you failing.'' Said Issei annoyed.

"Right.'' Said Kiba with a smile.

"Alright guys, great job!'' Said Luffy with a smile.

"What a great job! You just kicked us around like two rag dolls.'' Said Issei.

"But this is how every training should start. If you knew you could beat me then why are you even here.'' Said Luffy with a point.

Issei was a bit silent while Kiba laughed.

"He got us.''' Said Kiba.

"Hey Luffy lets forget about this, how about a lunch break?' Asked Issei.

'Sure, let's eat!'' Said Luffy excited.

"Leave some for us!'' Scream Issei.

The group went to a dinner table where a good amount of food was being served. There was dumplings, rice balls, sandwiches, eggs dishes, meat and so much more.

"Man! I loved this place, why didn't Rias told me about this?'' Asked Luffy as he eats most of that stuff.

"The president has many houses around Japan and in the underworld. This was the closest one to Kuoh where we could train a lot.'' Said Kiba.

"Rias is truly a great girl; I am glad she is my friend.'' Said Luffy all simple.

"Yes, she is hot and also pretty cool. I am glad that I became her servant.'' Said Issei while eating some rice balls.

While in middle of the meal Kiba decided to ask something to Luffy, just wondering something.

"Luffy-kun, tell me as a pirate you went to various island and meet all sorts of people correct?'' Asked Kiba.

"Yes, I meet a lot of people, some started out as jerks, but they became my friends.'' Said Luffy thinking of a ton of people he meet up.

"And your enemies, the marines do you consider them your friends?'' Asked Kiba

"Not all of them, but I do have some great friends in there that I considered them very important.'' Said Luffy.

"Really, even thought they are allied with your enemy you still consider them as friends?''' Asked Kiba.

"Yeah, Koby, Helmepop and Smokey are all good friends of mine. They have to chase me because its their job, but I don't mind that without a marine to follow you it becomes kind of dull in being a pirate.'' Said Luffy.

Kiba was lost for words now, Luffy just called his enemies also his friends, but like his said not all of them he had a few ones that were Marines, and he considered as friends. He was kinf of a very forgiving and very inclusive person.

"Understood, I will try to keep that in mind when we meet more people.'' Said Kiba.

"Cool! Glad you're getting this Kiba.'' Said Luffy.

"Yes, I mean we are probably the most mixed-up group in that school and we never let Raynare stop hanging around with us ever since that day. Even I am letting her a bit more.'' Said Issei.

"Really, but she tried to kill you.'' Said Kiba.

"Yes, but that was the old her. This Raynare is kinder and looks like needs some help, I wonder if she was like this before she became corrupted or was desperate for power. All I know is that she is not the same skank that tried to kill me.'' Said Issei making Luffy laugh.

"Understood, looks like I have a lot to learn from you two.'' Said Kiba.

The boys kept having a good conversation while eating, well Luffy did mostly eating while Issei tried to fight for his food, Kiba just sat there laughing and enjoying this funny scenario.

At another portion of the house.

The girls were all together practicing magic, while the boys would be mostly work on the physical aspects Rias wanted to focus on the magic aspect of her new members. Especially Asia and Lucy who need it desperately.

"Just focus on your mind and then let it go smoothly.'' Said Akeno explaining it.

"I did it.'' Said Lucy showing off her magic.

The others saw Lucy making a small amount of water, it was already a lot of improvement and with a great amount of concentration she could make a whole water fountain in a instant.

"Impressive, Lucy well done.'' Said Akeno.

"I guess I am not just ice powers.'' Said Lucy with a smirk.

"I think I did it!'' Said Asia all happy.

The group saw Asia making also a great amount of water out of nowhere, they were impressed by her quick thinking.

"You did it Asia!'' Said Raynare praising the former nun.

"Ara Ara looks like you have also a talent for magic.'' Said Akeno.

"Me and Asia might be newbies, but we can learn the tropes quickly.'' Said Lucy.

"Lucy is right, it might be hard at first but with the right training I think I can become an expert in this.'' Said Asia smiling.

"Well, this is a great start, however you two will have to learn to use the proper balance of the elements in order to cast more than one spell.'' Said Akeno.

"What do you mean?'' Asked Asia.

"Magic takes a good time to learn and master it. Once you have your element figure out you can do as much as you please. First you need to clear your head and focus on what you want to make it.'' Said Akeno.

"If Issei was here all he would think was all of us naked or some hot making out session.'' Said Lucy.

The girls just looked at Lucy with a confused look, Akeno was laughing while Asia and Raynare were pretty much blushing like mad, Koneko was just in her neutral look.

"Oh yeah, like he doesn't think of this stuff sometimes.'' Said Lucy with a raised eyebrown.

"Agreed.'' Said Koneko.

The girls decided to let that thought go away and keep focusing on the next part of training.

With the boys

Luffy was back in fighting Issei and Kiba, this time the other two were doing much better, being able to dodge more and even take some punches.

"Issei you getting a lot better!'' Said luffy ready to attack some more.

"I not going to stop until I lay a sigle hit on you Luffy, call me crazy but I do want to win sometimes.'' Said Issei.

"That's the spirit!'' Said Luffy all excited.

"Luffy-kun! Better watch out.'' Said Kiba charging towards Luffy.

The rubber captain just grim at that and soon dodged the attack at ease, Kiba just looked annoyed as another plan failed. While the knight took some time catching up his breath Luffy looked at Issei with a smile.

"Come Issei, you said you wanted to at least get a hit on me! Come right at it!'' Said luffy.

"Why are you giving me so much hype?'' Asked Issei.

"Because you are my friend, this way you can get some confidence!'' Said Luffy making Issei might.

"Thanks, Luffy, but I promise to not go easy!'' Said Issei showing his gauntlet.

"Alright!'' Said Luffy with smirk.

Issei soon open his wing and went as fast as he could, even faster when Asia got caught by the Fallen Angels. He was determined to hit a single blow on Luffy.

"AAAAH!'' Scream him like a mad man, pretty much throwing himself at Luffy and during that madness he managed to land a hit on Luffy chest.

Pow

"Uh!'' Said Luffy feeling that.

Once he saw what he has done Issei just broke down the biggest smile he had of the entire day.

"I did it! I fricking did it! I hit Luffy and I didn't die!'' Scream Issei all happy.

"That's right! Good job Issei.'' Said Luffy all excited and htne Issei collapse in the floor due to exhaustion.

BAM

"Issei?'' Asked Luffy confused.

Kiba saw that and just laughed, Luffy was really making training for a rating game a really good time.

While this was going on someone was watching all these events in a room.

Rias was using the magic items around the mansion to see everyone training, she saw the progress of everyone and just had a big smile on her face.

"We are in a good pace! We can definitely win this!'' Said her.

The thought was positive, but she knew Riser would play some dirty trick, she only wished Luffy was going to participate in the games. He would be unstoppable and the person who she truly loved would be the one to save her.

"Luffy, if you were a devil things would be so much easier.'' Thought her looking at image of Luffy.

The devil girl just decided to forget about that question, she knew Luffy had made up his mind and he wasn't going to change it. She just wished he would participate in this event, the entire underworld would know the destructive power of Monkey D. Luffy.

So yes, we have the first part one of training. We are in a good start and everyone is working their ass off in order to gain power. Luffy is being serious but still friendly with Kiba and Issei during his training, I decided to do that for some levity. I know in canon he would just do horrible things like Garp did, but Luffy is not his grandfather, and he knows when to do some funny moment in these times.

I know someone will complain that I am doing Luffy character right, but only one person knows Luffy character to a core and its Oda. I am just doing what I think Luffy would do. I am writing the dumb dumb one because that style pisses me off, it would be ok if this was pre time skip and he just left East blue but this post Wano, Luffy while being a genius is a lot more rational at this point, I even think he has a high IQ when it comes to battle styles.
