Hey there, time to get a new chapter on the Ultimate universe with the Straw Hats in there. Thanks everyone for the nice reviews and likes on the Ultimate Spider Man chapter. Now this one will be split in parts because I re read Ultimate X-Men issue again and I have to say it's a lot of things in just one issue, Spider Man had a lot of patience, and he doesn't have the costume until issue 3. Now we have the first part of this issue.

At the Straw Hats hide out.

Most of the crew was out and there was only a few people there. Nami was in a chair reading some newspaper articles while Brook was fixing his violin while Franky was getting back from the junkyard after getting a lot of new parts.

"Yo Nami, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to another shopping spree.'' Said Franky.

"I was going to but then I saw this article and I was pretty much glued the entire morning. This is the type of thing that Robin would love to read over and over again.'' Said Robin.

The navigator put the newspaper on the coffee table and then Franky and Brook looked at the main article.

``Mutans among us. Who do you trust?``

The shipwright and musician looked at that article in confusion.

"Mutants?'' Asked Franky.

"Yes, people who were born with a weird gene that grant them superpowers.'' Said Nami.

"Oh, that's sound really cool.'' Said Brook.

"Incorrect, according to politicians and journalist they say that mutans are horrible people that deserve to be killed or put behind bars before they ``turn`` against us.'' Said Nami.

"Sounds very familiar.'' Said the tough voice of Jinbei.

The group remember that Jinbei went to the main river to grab some fishes for dinner. He had made a good effort to keep a low profile, but he had heard about the mutant problem and it has given him flashbacks to their world.

"Hi Jinbei, you heard about it too?'' Asked Nami.

"I have been hearing about that talk around the docks. There are a few mutants in the area of New York, and they call upon the cops to take them.'' Said Jinbei.

"So, it's a discrimination thing.'' Said Nami sigusted.

"It's kind an embarrassment, so what those people have super powers? They could help each other so why the hate?'' Asked Franky.

"I am not sure about the way of thinking that the people of this world have but apparently they aren't very welcoming to new things.'' Said Brook feeling bad for those mutants who are been target by the police.

Franky looked at the article more closely, he saw a bunch of bullcrap about calling mutants as ``monsters`` and trying to take over, all that talk it could go to the garbage. One image that caught his eyes was of a bald man in a wheelchair.

"Who is this bro?'' Asked Franky.

"His name is Charles Xavier; he is a well know mutant. He's apparently a psychic or something and is a very rich man, I hope we can meet him very soon.'' Said Nami all excited.

"Man even with other species Nami doesn't change.'' Said Franky with a sweat drop.

"Don't even bother.'' Said Jinbei with a deep sigh.

"By the way Nami-san what are you doing here? I thought you would be doing to a event representing SH corporation.'' Asked Brook.

"I am just killing time, Robin is talking to some investors now. I just want to get the right dress for tonight.'' Said Nami.

"Well you two are some of the faces of the company, its important to look good.'' Said Brook as he messes with his hair.

"We are going to play with the usuals cards, as long they don't ask about Luffy we will be good.'' Said Nami.

"I am going to check our stocks to make sure we are still good.'' Said Franky.

"Thanks Franky, I will check the TV to see what is going on.'' Said Nami.

The girl soon turned on the TV and put on CNN, she saw that Breaking News portion and she saw the tittle ``Mutant Nest in L.A``

"What the?'' Asked her confused alongside the rest of the crew.

Soon she got the volume up and they watch the news.

"Good evening I'm Boaz Eshelmen and you're watching breaking News. Thought top story, trail run of the Sentinels is hailed as a triumphant, success as a mutant nest in Los Angeles is uncovered and neutralized with no civilians casualties. Were these mutants' terrorist behind the recent anti-human bombins in New York and Washington? Police say the evidence is undeniable but humans rights campaigners amnesty internal have coded the action as ``Inhumans and unconstitutional`` providing a stern white House response…'' Said the newscaster giving the new.

The Straw Hats saw the giant robots, the Sentinels going down and killing Mutants and the news saying to be ok because no regular human were killed. The Straw Hats just looked enraged at that, Mutants were still living beings and people were celebrating their deaths.

"That's sick!'' Scream Nami.

"It's like the Tenryubitto.'' Said Jinbei.

"Yes, but I don't know how many of those robots they can create. I bet they cost a fortune.'' Said Franky.

"What if we destroy them?'' Asked Brook

"If we get them to be in New York we can break them and try to fight for a good cause.'' Said Franky.

The Straw Hat just saw the giant robot who might as well be this world version of a Pacifista, they can tell it would be a lot of trouble, but they would do anything to stop this nonsensical massacre.

"This world is as sick as yours.'' Said Nami turning off the TV.

At a random Bar in NY.

Zoro was drinking at some random bar, he didn't know if he was in Queens, Bronx or even in New Jersey. He had a credit card and would get a cab to get back home, he had his swords on his waist and anyone who dared to look him in the eye would get an arm broke. As he drinks his beer a short man with a ton of body hair was sitting next to him.

"Hey, take those stupid toys away.'' Said the short man telling Zoro.

"They are not toys, they are the real deal.'' Said Zoro.

The short man just looked at him with an annoyed look.

"Are you telling me these are real swords? What do you do?'' Asked the short man.

"I am not telling you man, if you keep talking, I will make you regret it.'' Said Zoro.

"Is that a challenge?'' Asked the short man.

"Maybe.'' Said Zoro with an annoyed.

Then something unexpected happened, the short man took out some weird claws out of his knuckles and they looked as shard as hell.

SNIKT!

"Come on tough guy!'' Said the short man.

Zoro now had a grim on his face, this was going to be interesting. He was now taking out one of his swords out.

"Are you one of those mutants?'' Asked Zoro.

"Why do you ask?'' Asked the short man.

"Because I wanted to fight one, not for stupid reasons I want just a good challenge.'' Said Zoro.

The two just jumped at each other destroying the whole bar. The short man claws were strong, Zoro was sensing that they were hard to break and not even Haki was scratching them.

Once they caused a clash, they went full ahead as trashed everything, slashing everything and destroying most of the stuff on the place causing a lot of property damages. Soon they ended up outside of the bar as Zoro slashed the short man sending him flying away out of the place.

CLASH

Crash

"Argh.'' Scream the short man.

Zoro went outside to see his opponent, he thought it was all over, any regular person would be done after been cut by him.

However, the short man launched toward him in full feral mode and Zoro used two swords to block the attack.

"Uh?'' Asked Zoro surprised.

"Urhg!'' Scream the short man pushing Zoro to the other side.

Zoro took a step back and was beyond confused on what just happened. He then saw the place where he cutted the short man and saw that cut was gone for real.

"You can regenerate?'' Asked Zoro.

"Yeah, got a problem with that too bub?'' Asked Zoro.

"Ok, now this will be interesting.'' Said Zoro with a smirk. He was ready to have a really good fight when suddenly.

"Freeze!'' Scream the police.

The two turned around to see around a dozen cops pointing guns at them.

"Put the weapons down and come with us.'' Said a cop.

The two looked at the cops all annoyed, they were spoiling their fun.

"Should we kill them?'' Asked the short man.

"No, they are just doing their jobs. Knock them out cold is enough.'' Said Zoro.

"Fine by me.'' Said the short man

The two went towards the cops and had just a smirk on their faces.

10 seconds later.

Zoro and the short man had knocked out all those cops, destroying their guns and lay them all in the floor.

"Ok, lets return it.'' Said Zoro.

"Wait, let me check the time.'' Said the short man.

The short man looked at one of thee cops watch and had a snark on his face.

"I need to go.'' Said him.

'Uh?'' Asked Zoro.

"I have business to attend.'' Said the short man.

"What?'' Asked Zoro.

"Sorry bub, but I need to keep going.'' Said the short man.

Zoro just had a smirk, a little smile on his face, he had fought someone worth to fight in this world and he could regenerate, this was something interesting to clash with.

"Let's fight again another time.'' Said Zoro.

"Yeah, if we see each other again we will see who will be the last one standing.'' Said the short man.

Zoro then tossed the short man a beer, he just looked at the green haired pirate confused.

"You didn't get one, my bad.'' Said Zoro.

"What is your name?'' Asked the short man.

"Ronoroa Zoro.''

"Logan.''

Zoro just smirks at the mutant named Logan, and just points his sword at him.

"This is a promise Logan, next time just one of us will stand up.'' Said Zoro.

"Fine by me, because I will be the one winning.'' Said Logan drinking his beer.

The short man went on his way as he kept walking, Zoro put his sword back and went to find a taxi, meanwhile the owner of the bar was screaming to the heavens wanting to know how he would fix things.

Later

Nami and Robin were in a gala event representing SH Corporation. The two were looking fabulous, Nami was wearing a sparkling red dress while Robin had a beautiful purple dress. They were of course being seen by most of the men of the party and the two pirates just looked around for possible people to make business or to trick.

"Do you remember what this event is even about it?'' Asked Nami.

"About some political party fundraisers. They will be asking for a good size of donation.'' Said Robin.

"If he or she is legit then he will get the same, if not then we will take their house.'' Said Nami with a smirk.

"We are doing very good in this world. I am surprised by that.'' Said Robin.

"When you are not a wanted criminal the sky is the limit.'' Said Nami with a smile.

"And our ``CEO`` is behaving very well. He hasn't caused any shakedowns, what is even doing tonight? Just wondering.'' Asked Robin.

"I bought him some videogames. If someone ask, he is in a international business meeting.'' Said Nami.

At the Hideout

Luffy was with Chopper, Carrot and Yamato and they were all playing Super Smash Bro on the Nintendo 64, and they were having a huge party similar to a middle school on a Friday night.

"Come on Mario!'' Scream Luffy.

"No, Pikachu don't go down!'' Scream Carrot.

"Hey, why Yoshi is not walking?'' Asked Chopper crying.

"I am the one who shall be the Smash winner! Now go Fox!'' Said Yamato.

The group kept playing and playing, meanwhile Sanji was on the duty to watch for them and specially Luffy so he doesn't get around loose and start any mess. He was a bit bored and wished he was with the girls on the Gala event, the others went to other places, but they could be trusted outside alone other than Luffy.

"Why do I feel like a babysitter?'' Asked Sanji looking at Vogue magazine.

Back at the party

Nami and Robin kept looking at everyone in the gala, they were mostly 1%, a bunch of rich snobs donating a little amount of money to gain favors or power.

"Do you see anyone interested to talk?'' Asked Nami.

"No, most of these people don't have much to work with.'' Said Robin.

"Will Tony Stark be here?'' Asked Nami excited, she saw how rich Stark was and she wanted to get a good amount of his bank numbers.

"It would be interesting; he has a lot more to talk about it than just money and business.'' Said Robin with a smile.

"He won't mind a few millions missing.'' Said Nami.

The two pirates kept looking around for people to interact with and they were rejecting the ones who they think are boring or don't deserve help. While walking around the gala they saw a group of people talking to someone over the corner, Nami took a look and was shocked.

"Oh my god!'' Said her.

"What is it?'' Asked Robin.

"Charles Xavier! The bald mutant, he is here!'' Said Nami in shock.

"He is here? Well, that's sounds like a good talk.'' Said Robin.

"What should we talk? We haven't discussed what to say towards someone like him, plus I think he is a telepath or something. We should avoid contact with him.'' Said Nami.

"Well, he is coming over here.'' Said Robin.

"Eeh!'' Said Nami a bit nervous as she chugs a cup of champagne.

The wheelchair user came towards the two pirates, Nami appeared to be a little bit nervous, but Robin kept her cool self.

"Oh my I never seen any of you two at one of these parties. Nice to meet you two, I am Charles Xavier and I like to meet new people at these events.'' Said Xavier.

"Is a pleasure meeting you Professor Xavier. I am Nico Robin, and this is Nami, we both represent SH Corporation.'' Said Robin.

"Hi there.'' Said Nami.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you two.'' Said Xavier.

"You are a world known figure; can we have some of your time?'' Asked Robin.

"Of course.'' Said Xavier.

Robin and Nami walked alongside Xavier who was moving around with his wheelchair as they talk.

"So, its true that you opened a school?'' Asked Nami.

"Yes, I decided to help ``gifted people`` in finding their place in the world.'' Said Xavier.

"Well, you are doing more for society then most of these people here.'' Said Nami.

"If you want I can give you two a tour of my school.'' Said Xavier.

"Sure, I heard that you own one of the biggest mansions in Manchester.'' Said Nami thinking on Xavier money.

"Already thinking about this gentleman money. We need to check for information about Xavier and his students, Luffy would like to see that place to so it would be better…'' Thought Robin taking mental notes when suddenly.

"Sorry to interrupt your talk but who is Luffy?'' Said the voice of Xavier in Robin head.

The two girls stopped walking as Xavier just smile at them.

"Are you reading our mind?'' Asked Nami in shock.

"I can read them but also interact with your mental state, but I mean no harm. However, I sensed different ideas for two people of a suspicious corporation that surprised the country for a couple of months and nobody knows why.'' Said Xavier.

Nami just gulped at that, she didn't liked to discriminated people but she already hated telepaths.

"If you want, we can talk privately, would you two prefer that?'' Asked Xavier.

Robin just looked a bit nervous; Xavier was a man who was smarter than he appeared to be. If she wanted to make sure that the crew was saved from attacks or law enforcement so she would have to play as hard as she could to bring peace with Xavier.

So yes, we will stop here, and we will go into more later. I wanted to make the Straw Hats some minor interactions at first with the X-Men, later they will meet the entire team and see what they are made of it. I actually really liked new X-Men, when Millar, Kirkman and Bendis were writing it was really good then later it turned into crap.

I know the dialogue isn't the best one, but I had a hard time to think on what the situation would be about it. I wanted to be simple and direct to the point, this is how I write my stories, I am not a complex writer and I am ok with that.

Thank you all for reading. Next time we will do the rest of the talk and then meeting the X-Men. Now Xavier vs Robin, let's see what they will do. At least this Xavier isn't as bad as the 616 Xavier is at the moment, it will take forever to we get classic Professor X back in comics.
