[Kivotos]

"Arius Death Squad. The President has disappeared." A tall female figure addressed the squad of girls. "And right now, a man is being transported here." She placed a map of the gondolas route. "Shoot him down, keep Kivotos in this chaos!"

"Just transfer the money and it'll get done." The shortest of the four girls said as they turned and walked out of the room.

"Schale will fall before it even starts."

[Gondola Entering Kivotos]

"Sensei, can I have a moment of your time?" A purple haired student asked her companion.

"Hm? Oh yeah, sure. Whats up?" The black haired man said as he opened one eye to look at her.

"I just want to know, are you one of those weird adults that makes impulse buys?" She asked looking at him.

"Impulse buys? Like mecha figures? Pssh, hell no." He responded with a huff. "Collectables arent my forte, I just order take out from time to time." He stood up to stretch and look outside of the Gondola.

"Kivotos, huh."

"Have you been here before?"

"Kinda, my step-sister goes to one of the schools here." He gave a small smile, and his eyes softened looking over the various schools and their districts.

"Your step-sister? Whats her name? I may know her." His future student asked out of curiousity.

"Nessa. From what our mother told me she was a Trinity student." He said remembering the stories of Kivotos from his sisters letters.

"I'll look take a look into where she is. At the moment, Trinity and Gehenna were in the middle of peace talks, but..." She trailed off.

"But with the President of the General Student Council, gone missing, any peace talks have 'officially' broken down." He finished, turning back towards his future student. "My apologies, we have been talking this whole time and I didnt even catch your name. I feel like a fool, Hehe." Sensei chuckled nervously.

"Hayase Yuuka, and you? Its only fair that I get your name as well. Calling you Sensei all the time will get boring after all." Yuuka said as she walked to his side, and looked out of the window of the gondola.

"Kriv."

"Well, Kriv-Sensei, the president left you with a lot on your plate. Running the Independant Federal Investigation Club or Schale for short." Yuuka said going over the smaller details that Arona missed before they met at the Skyride station. "Final decisions, requests, and even disaplineary actions do not happen without you having final say." She continued as the sun started to set over Kivotos.

"Im sure a little paperwork wont be a bother. Well, as long as my trusty assistants are by my side I should be fine." He said watching Kivotos draw closer.

"Kriv Sensei?"

"Whats Up, Arona?" Both he and Yuuka looked at his tablet.

"Incoming projectile." was the only warning the duo recieved before the gondola shook violently.

Yuuka screamed as it shook, "Forgive me, Yuuka." She heard him say, as Kriv wrapped her in his arms to keep her steady. "If this conduct is not becoming of me as your Sensei, then I apologize in advance." He said in a hushed tone.

[Kivotos Streets between Millenium, Trinity, and Gehenna]

"Sensei of Schale!" Was heard as four figures surround the now grounded gondola. "Welcome to Kivotos, Sensei of Schale." A girls deep voice was heard from their left.

Kriv and Yuuka stood up in unison. "Yuuka, Arona. I need intel, quickly." His hushed voice heard only inside the carridge.

"Working on it, Kriv."

"It better be fast, I dont have a halo like you girls do."

"Do you have any last words SCHALE Sensei?"

[Gun Rechambers]

"Oh Dear. Seems like my sister left out some nasty details. Especial about some very scary students that wish to harm the innocent Sensei." Kriv said in concern. "Discipline will be required at a later date." The young man said.

Arona finally chimed in with a plan."Yuuka! Shield!"

"Sensei!" Yuuka leaned into him and a blue barrier with a hexogonal pattern appeared around them.

"Arona do we have any reinforcments on the way?!" He asked as their attackers were closing in on them.

"I've been sending out the signal since we hit the ground. Im sorry sensei." Arona said checking for any response to her SoS.

"Yuuka, dont worry about me, weapons free." He told her as he finally let her go.

[BOOM]

"Please tell me that was reinforcments." He said as a wall to his right crumbled.

"Master! Your maids are here! Misstress Rio sent us after recieving your distress signal." An excited girl called out to Kriv.

"Arona, you did great."

"Tch, we've been had! Leader, its your call!" The attacker behind him called out.

"Fall ba-"

[BOOM]

As another wall got destroyed.

"What?!"

"Oh, Come on! Did that really need to happen?" Kriv asked in an annoyed tone.

The flag of Gehenna Academy could be seen throught the dust. "Gehenna? arent they at a stalemate with Trinity? What are they doing here?!"

"We recieved Senseis distress signal." A blue haired young woman with an impressive bust said while brandishing her weapon, a handgun she called Hot Shot.

"Its a busted OP. We're out!" The student wearing a mask yelled to her squad.

"Roger!"

[FWOOOSH]

Four smokebombs were set off as his attackers escaped.

[Beep Beep]

"Hm? Go for Kriv." He said as he answered his phone.

Ah, Sensei, this is Tsukatsuki Rio, President of Seminar.

"Ah I have you to thank for sending, Cleaning & Clearing."

Yes, I hope they reached you without delay?

"They did. As well as a squad of girls from Gehenna."

I see, we will discuss this more once you reach SCHALE. Is that ok with you Sensei?

"Thats fine, Rio. Thank you, again."

[Click]

"Excuse me! To who from Gehenna do I owe a thank you?!" He yelled towards said academy students.

"Amau Ako, part of the Prefect Team! If you ever need to survive another ambush, dont hesitate to contact Gehenna~." She said with confidence in her voice and a tempting sway of her hips as she walked away.

[Thwack]

"Ow! what was that for!?" He rubbed his head as he looked over at Yuuka.

"Sensei." She said as she was clearly pouting.

Kriv rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Lets get going Yuuka. I think we both have had enough fun for one day." He said he looked up to see the vibrant azure blue sky give way to a beautifully firey orange sky signaling the evening.

[Schale Lobby]

Kriv and Yuuka arrived at the Schale building, she yawned.

"Yuuka, why dont you stay here at Schale for the night. That ambush took us by surprise and Im worn out as well." He said as the lobby elevator openned revealing the President of Seminar: Tsukatsuki Rio.

"Kriv Sensei, allow me to officially welcome you to Kivotos." She said with a small smile.

"Im going to be honest, Miss Rio. Im worn out, and ready to rest." He said trying to suppress a yawn.

"Of course, Sensei." She said with a smile as she led him towards his office. "This is your office. The door to our right is the attached bedroom. I'll explain more in the morning." Rio said as she left the office. "Yuuka, please make sure Sensei isnt disrupted tonight?" She asked of the purple haired girl.

"She can take the bed, I'll take the couch."Kriv said as he flopped on the nearby couch, and almost instantly fell asleep.

"Sensei, you should sleep on the bed!" Yuuka whined as Rio watch them with a smile. Not even officially our Sensei and he's already changed the mood around here. "Oh dear, Yuuka being so bold." Her thoughts were interuptted by the scene currently infront of her.

Yuuka somehow managed to lug a sleeping Kriv from the couch to the bed, but couldnt make it back to the couch, so she just flopped on top of him.

"Goodnight Sensei, Yuuka."

Tommorrow was where the real fun begins.

[The Next Day]

"SENSEI YOU PERV!" rang out throught Kivotos as Yuuka realized where she fell asleep.

Kriv was sitting at his desk filling out the newly arrived paperwork, while sporting a black eye. "Yuuka, you know that wasnt my fault. I was asleep on the couch." He said as a nurse came in, and introduced herself.

"Sensei, I am Sumi Serina. A member of the Knights Hospitaller of Trinity." She said as she curtsy'd.

"Welcome to Schale, Serina. Please, assist Hayase Yuuka. She injured her hand on something hard." He chuckled as said student just pouted.

"You shouldve taken the bed!"

"Well, I was being the adult and gave you the bed. I will not subject a student to sleeping on the couch" He said with finality, only to flinch with how tender his eye became. "You didnt have to fall asleep on top of me while I was out cold."

"Oh my, is this a lovers quarrel?" Serina teased both of them to ease the mood.

"Hm, I just met Sensei/Yuuka yesterday." They said in stereo.

"Oooo Love at first sight! How romantic!" The nurse continued as she finished wrapping Yuukas hand, and made her way over to Kriv. "Ready to get healed up Sensei?"

"Yes, M'am." He said as he leaned back in his chair and tilted his head back.

"Thank you, Sensei."

"I dont know how to feel, honestly. I just arrived in Kivotos. Was targeted by some rogue squad of girls, and defended by two of the three biggest schools here." He said as she gently put a cold press over his eye.

"So, Trinity and Millenium?"

"No, Millenium and Gehenna. The attackers left before anyone from Trinity showed up. But, I did see a girl with angel wings at her waist and long ash blonde hair." He said recounting seeing a figure standing on the Trinity district wall.

"Kirifuji Nagisa, was there?!" Serina nearly shouted in surprise.

"Is she a big deal in Trinity? I think the swelling went down." He said as he removed the cold press from his eye.

"It did, but we need to drain the excess blood." She confirmed as looked through her bag.

"Thats fine."

"Kirifuji Nagisa is the current 'Host' of the Tea Party, which basically the student council of Trinity. The fact that she even left the terrace where they meet is a rarity." The medic said as she found what she was looking for. "Lean over your desk, and hold this pan." She instructed.

"Ok, Im ready. I guess big deal doesnt even begin to scratch the surface." Kriv said as Serina made a cut above his eye to drain the excess blood.

"Sensei, Im sorry."

"Sorry for what Yuuka?"

"If only-"

"Yuuka stop. As your Teacher, I dont want to see you put youself down. Pardon my language, but shit happens sometimes. Neither of us knew that ambush was gonna happen until it was too late." Kriv said with a reassuring smile. Well, as much as he could while Serina was stitching the cut closed.

"Thank you, Sensei."

"Besides, I owe you dinner at least as a thank you. Thank you, Serina. Is there a medical unit nearby? If so, please set up shop there. Just in case we need your assistance." He said as he went back to work.

"I have a feeling that may be soon enough, I will Sensei." She said with a curtsy, then left for the medical unit.

[1230pm]

"Yuuka, go grab some lunch. Im sure your hungry by now." Kriv said as he check his watch. It was 1230.

"Do you want anything Sensei?" She asked as she stood infront of his desk.

"Uh, yea. Grab me a wrap or something. Im not picky." He gave her the money to cover it.

"Alright, I'll be back." Yuuka said as they left his office.

"See ya in a bit." Kriv escorted her to the elevator.

[Ring Ring]

"Go for Kriv."

Sensei, this is Ushio Noa.

"Ah Noa, your Yuukas friend correct?"

Oh? Very astute of you Sensei. How'd you figure that out?

"Yuuka may have mentioned having lunch with you earlier today."

We do have plans for lunch, but this wonderful conversation isnt why I called. You have two students asking about you from Hyakkiyako.

"Oh?"

A first year and a member from their student counsil.

"Thank you for letting me know, Noa. Also, please stop by sometime. I'd love to have another conversation with you."

Sensei, you charmer! I would love to as well. Ah, Yuuka just arrived. Talk to you later!

[Click]

Watching the lunch rush of his dear students moving to and fro from their respective schools. A guy could get used to this.

A shadow passed by his face. "Hm?"

[Ding]

The elevator opened revealing a fox girl, with long dark brown hair, yellow eyes, and red fox ears at the top of her head. Her outfit was familiar to say the least.

His step sisters best friend in Hyakkiyako.

"Aka-"

"Kriv, if you call me by my Aunts name. I'll send you to her universe myself!" Her anger held no heat to it, as if they've been through it many times before.

"Im surprised you still remember me, Kosaka Wakamo." He said as he ignored how she broke the fourth wall.

"Do I get a hug or am I a stranger?"

"You've gotten older." She gave him a hug.

"You've been causing headaches again?"

"More or less."

"Come, sit down. What can I, the Sensei of Schale, do for you?" He asked with soft eyes and a relieved smile.

A/N: Yep, Blue Archive was next on my list. Busted out this chapter in a few weeks, it would've been hours, but life aint fun. Im having a little fun with BA, just come along for the ride. I made soooo many changes to the openning and middle part. Next chapter will ramp up with some action, lunch shall be had and a night out on the town will be mandatory. See you next time.
