TwinstarDragon: 1) thank you. 2) i understand what you mean. However, you MUST remember that melani is in the middle of magnolia. If she practices her magic, chances are good that she'll wind up killing some people by accident.

"Also, there's a little girl at the guild that specializes in poison magic. So, don't just approach her, alright?" cobra told him. "Sure thing, cobra," macao said.
"Later," cobra said, before he turned away and started to go to his destination.
Now
"Oh, lucy," cobra said before he left for his job. "Yes?" lucy responded, as she looked at him. "Tell melani that i will be back, soon, ok?" cobra asked. "Ok?" she replied. "Thanks," cobra said, before he went on his job.
After natsu, lucy, happy and macao managed to get close to the guild, they saw romeo having a sad look on his face. "Hey, romeo," natsu called out to him. Romeo looked over to natsu, and saw his dad with his arm around natsu's shoulder, with natsu helping him walk. Tears started to gather in his eyes, before he did a flying tackle hug on his dad, as he cried out "DAD!" joyfully.
Father and son fell to the ground, with macao's head colliding with the ground rather painfully, even as he smiled and hugged his son. "I'm so sorry, dad," romeo was sobbing. "Hey, hey, don't be like that," macao said soothingly.
Macao then pulled his son away a bit, so he could speak to him face to face. "The next time those bullies bother you, tell them this: 'can your fathers beat nineteen monsters on their own? Because mine can'," macao said with a grin on his face.
Romeo hugged his father, again. "I will, because i'm a wizard's son," romeo said tearfully.
With melani
Melani was sitting at the bar, waiting for news of her daddy, when an older guy with blue hair and a white jacket walked in, bandages all over him. "Hey there, master. I'm back," the guy said. "Ah, welcome back, macao. I trust there's a good reason you're so late in returning?" the old man asked.
The bandaged guy winced at that. "Well, there IS a reason, but i don't know if it'll be a good one. Well, for starters, the client needed to specify the amount of creatures than just 'a nest' because there were TWENTY vulcans in that nest," the bandaged guy said. The old guy's eyes widened in shock at the number. "Luckily, i managed to beat nineteen of them on my own. However," the bandaged guy gave a sheepish chuckle. "In my exhaustion, i was not as aware as i should have been, so the final vulcan got a hold of me. And, i was possessed, until natsu and cobra freed me earlier, and that's the report, master," the bandaged guy said.
"Well you managed to beat nearly the entire nest by yourself. That alone is praise worthy. However, your punishment for not being aware of your surroundings was to be possessed by that vulcan," the old man said. "I hope that you will be more aware of your surroundings in the future, macao," the old man said. "Yes, master," the bandaged guy said.
Third POV
Macao then sat next to melani, and she got nervous. "Can i have a drink, mira?" macao asked. "Sure thing, macao, but not too much. I imagine that romeo wants to spend as much time with you as he can," mira said, as she poured macao a drink.
Macao accepted the drink, and took a BIG gulp. "*BURP*, aah, that's better," he said. Melani whimpered, which macao heard. He turned to her, and had a surprised look on his face, the parts that were NOT bandaged. "Huh, i've not seen you here before, little one," he turned to face her. "Who might you be?" he asked in a gentle tone. Hey, as a father, he knew when a child was nervous or scared, so he knew when to be gentle.
"M-m-melani," she said quietly. "'Melani', huh? That's a nice name," macao said. Melani smiled a bit at that. "Now, what are you doing here?" macao asked her. "Daddy brought me here, he's on a job," melani said.
"Huh, i hope to get to meet him, some day," macao said, as he gently reached out to her. Melani flinched at that, and was about to release her poison on instinct, alone, but then she relaxed when he felt her rub her head.
Suddenly feeling tired, melani yawned. "Oh, dear, it looks like a certain someone needs a nap," mira said. "Not sleepy," melani denied, as she rubbed her eyes in a futile attempt at staying awake. Mira chuckled, as she went around the bar and picked her up and held her. "Yes, you are, melani," she said.
Melani whimpered a bit. "No, wanna stay awake till daddy comes back," melani said tiredly. Mira looks over at makarov. "What job did he take, master?" she asked him. "A babysitting one, mira," makarov answered.
Mira then turned her attention to melani. "Don't worry, melani. Your daddy will be back in a few days," mira soothed the little girl in her arms. "Ok," melani said. She was too tired to put up any more fight, so she fell asleep in mira's arms.
Macao looked at melani. "Huh, cute kid. Who's the dad?" he asked mira. "She's adopted, macao. Her latent magic activated, killing her parents. Luckily, one of our guild members found her, and was able to adopt her," mira explained, as she gently rocked melani while she was asleep.
"So, the dad is a member of this guild. That narrows it down by a lot," macao said. Just then, a guy in a green hooded jacket and wearing sunglasses burst through the door.
"It erza, she's coming back!" loke nearly yelled. The only reason he DIDN'T yell, was because he saw melani asleep. He may be a ladies man, but he knows when to keep quiet.
The guild got REAL quiet at that declaration. "Oh, man, and the only one that can keep her calm is out on a job," wakaba said. "Just hope she doesn't wake up melani. If the girl's magic doesn't kill us all, her father likely will," wakaba felt a shudder of fear run up his spine at the thought of cobra being pissed off at them all.
After all, it was bad enough when someone messes with his coffee. Someone messing with his daughter was enough for him to KILL the person.
Just then, erza appeared in the doorway, carrying a GIANT bejeweled horn, to which she slammed the base onto the floor. "I've returned!" erza declared. Just then, immediately after she said that, EVERYONE in the guild shushed her, shocking her. "Why?!" she asked, as she demanded to know.
Most of the guild members pointed over at mira. Erza looked, and was shocked at seeing a little girl asleep in her arms. She picked up her horn, and walked over to mira. "Who's that?!" she demanded.
"The daughter of one of our guild members," mira said calmly. "Why haven't i seen her here, before today?!" erza demanded. "Her father brought her here, while you were on your most recent job," she said, before mira got a dark look on her face. "Now, why don't you just be QUIET and let her sleep, huh?!" mira stated.
Needless to say, erza was pretty damn shocked. Both because of the child in mira's arms, as well as mira herself, for ordering HER around.
With cobra
Cobra had gotten to the destination for his latest job. "Ugh, motion sickness pills or not, i HATE motion sickness," cobra complained. "I know, corba, i know," yuki said. After a few minutes of walking, they got to the client's place. Needless to say, they were shocked. Why? Here's the reason: they were at the gate of a five story mansion with what looks like over 300 acres of land.
An intercom came to life, getting cobra's attention. "Who are you, and why are you here?" the intercom said. Cobra looked at the camera on the intercom. "I'm cobra, and i got the job request," he said. "Show me your guild mark and the job flier," the intercom said.
Cobra did so. After showing them, the intercom said "wait a moment," before the gates opened. And so, cobra and yuki entered the manor grounds. After walking for about 20 acres, yuki was exhausted. Seeing his exceed tired and worn out, he picked her up and let her hang onto his shoulder from the back (like what yachiru does with kenpachi) and cobra resumed walking. After he got to the door, it was opened by a butler.
"Welcome, sir. if you will follow me, i will take you to the master," the butler said. With a nod, cobra followed the butler. After getting to a particular door, the butler knocked on the door. "Master, a mage has come about the job you requested," he said through the door.
"Send them in," a voice said through the door. The butler opened the door, and cobra walked in. "so, you came about the job?" the man said. "I am," cobra replied. "The job is very simple: babysit my daughter," the master said.
"Alright, when will i meet her?" however, before the master could answer, there was a knocking on the door. "Daddy, can i come in?" a little girl's voice came through. "Right now, actually," he said to cobra. "Come on in, sweety. There's someone i want you to meet," the master called out to his daughter.
The door opened, and revealed a little girl wearing a flowery dress, blonde hair and green eyes. She looked at cobra and yuki, and gained a disgusted look on her face. "Daddy, who is this?" she asked. Before her father could answer, cobra faced the girl. "I am cobra, of fairy tail. I'm here about the job your father sent out," cobra said.
The little girl got an angry look on her face. "I don't WANT or NEED a babysitter," she whined. "Cobra," her father said. Cobra turned to the master of the house. "Sir?" "keep my little girl safe," the master said. "i understand. I recently adopted a little girl, myself, so i know how you feel," cobra said. The master nodded, and left.
Shortly after the master left, the house shook. Cobra heard a screaming, which he left to investigate. When he got to the location of the scream, he saw the little girl being surrounded against the wall of the room, a large hole in the wall, revealing the source of the shaking.
"Who are you lot, and what are you doing?" cobra asked out loud, getting the attention of the intruders. "Well, lookie here, that guy hired ANOTHER babysitter for this brat. You'll last no longer that the others," one of the intruders said with a smirk. He then pointed at cobra, and said "TAKE HIM OUT!" to his men.
Five of them rushed at cobra, who got into a combat stance. When they got close, he sent each of them flying with a punch to the face each. "Disappointing," cobra spat. Just then, one of the intruders made a purple object appear in his hands. "You won't survive if this cuts you," the intruder said, before he attacked cobra with the magic made weapon.
Cobra blocked the attack with his bare arm. "HAH, you let my poison weapon touch you! You'll die within moments, HAHAHAHA!" the intruder said, before he started cackling. After a few moments, he felt the weapon be torn from his grasp, so he stopped cackling, and looked at the one who grabbed it, and saw that cobra was holding it.
"WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD, YET?!" the intruder demanded to know. "Simple," cobra began, before he pulled down his mask. "Poison has no effect on me," he said, before he took a big bite out of the weapon, shocking everyone. "Ugh, are you SURE that you're a poison mage?" he asked in disgust, before he ate the rest of the weapon. "Because this is the NASTIEST poison i've ever eaten," he said as he swallowed, shocking everyone in the room. "My daughter makes better poison than that, and she's around six years old. Still," cobra smiled, showing sharp canines. "Thanks for the food, moron *burp*" cobra finished.
"WHO IS THIS GUY?!" the leader demanded to know. "The name's cobra, of fairy tail," cobra introduced himself. The intruders paled, as they had heard of the poison dragon slayer. "Yuki, get the girl out of here, i don't want my poison to affect her," cobra ordered. "Right, cobra," yuki said, before she sprouted wings, grabbed the girl and flew out the hole.
[poison dragon's roar], cobra thought, before he breathed out a beam of poison. Most of the intruders were caught in the poison. So he simply punched the awake intruder in the stomach with an iron stomach, causing hims to pass out from pain.
Cobra then ate the excess poison surrounding him, and swiftly bound the intruders. "Yuki, it's safe, again," cobra called out. Yuki brought the girl back. "Great job, cobra," yuki said.
