Author's Note: Hanta Sero is the last member of Class 1-A to receive All for One for his birthday. Hooray! I've finished my goal for the year! I suppose now I'll have to go pick on other characters.

On the first day of school, when Shouta Aizawa announced he'd be expelling the student who placed last in the Quirk Apprehension Test, Hanta Sero tensed. This seemed unusual. Could it be targeted at him? A convenient excuse to get rid of a villain's son? His eyes scanned his teacher's face, looking for any hint of recognition.

His fears of being sabotaged during the test proved paranoid. He placed in the middle of the pack. And no one was expelled after all.

Later, Hanta would learn that such tests were par for the course at U.A. The only surprise had been that Aizawa hadn't thrown out his entire class.

It was a bit depressing for Hanta to learn his father might have had a point when he'd called U.A. a hell school.

After the villains attacked U.S.J., Denki Kaminari did his best not to panic. Yes, he was a hero student, but he hadn't expected to fight villains this early.

Especially not villains who seemed perfectly willing to kill teenagers.

When the villains had teleported everyone, Denki had ended up alone and stuck of a tree. At the sound of footsteps, he tensed. He felt greatly relieved to recognize the voice of a fellow hero student, Hanta Sero.

Hanta didn't sound scared—unless he expressed fear through anger. He was cursing up a storm. Most of his curses were directed at his father, including some truly creative threats to feed his sperm donor his own innards. Whoa, Denki would have pinned Shouto Todoroki as having the biggest daddy issues in the class, but apparently there was a dark horse candidate.

"Up here!" Denki waved.

Hanta stopped and looked up the tree. "Do you need help getting down?"

"Yes," Denki admitted, hanging his head. "I could electrocute the tree, but that might start a fire, and it seems like a very bad idea to start a fire in the same tree I'm currently trapped up."

"Yeah, don't do that." Hanta used his sticky tape to help Denki down.

"We should find a teacher," Denki said.

"Too late," a female voice cackled. Needle Hair strode out flanked by two Nomu. "Little hero students, you'll make fine corpses for—AHHHHHHHHHH!" Needle Hair dropped to her knees and bowed her face to the ground in front of Hanta.

Denki had been about to unleash his quirk, but it seemed unchivalrous to attack someone who'd already surrendered. He froze awkwardly, one hand raised. Could this be a clever villain trick? But how? He glanced sideways at Hanta, who looked completely done with this situation.

"I'm terribly sorry." Needle Hair groveled even lower to the ground. "I had no idea it was you. I never would have threatened you."

The Nomu surrounded Hanta. Denki stiffened again, electricity dancing at his fingertips. But instead of attacking, the Nomu rolled over the show their bellies.

Hanta petted the Nomu as if they were dogs. To Needle Hair, he said, "Just get out of here, strange person I've never seen before in my entire life."

"Anything you say." She got to her feet. "Is this all part of a plan…?"

"Go!" Hanta barked, and she fled. He called after her, "Take the Nomu! And don't you dare kill anyone!"

When the villain was gone, Denki cleared his throat. "So that was strange."

"Very strange," Hanta agreed. "I have no idea what happened."

"Uh…do you have a fear-inducing ability…"

"Just tape!"

"Were you a former vigilante before you enrolled in U.A.? Did you have a reputation?" Denki hoped so, that would be cool.

Hanta looked tired. "Nope. I'm just a normal hero student like you."

Denki doubted that, but he decided not to question the person he owed for saving him twice. Plus Hanta seemed like a good person to befriend.

Hanta didn't actually want to place too high in the Sports Festival. It would attract attention. Villain attention…was not the concern. That horse was out of the barn. Frankly, Hanta worried more about the HPSC.

Even though Hanta had been deliberately slacking off, he feared his efforts had been all for naught because his father, Kurogiri, and Dr. Garaki had shown up with a giant banner reading, "GO HANTA SERO!"

Between events, Hanta stormed over and growled, "I told you not to come."

"Aw! But I wanted to see your performance! Even if it's something as stupid and worthless as being a hero student, I'll still be here for you. See? I'm trying to support you." All for One pounced and tried to ruffle Hanta's hair.

Hanta dodged. "Are you insane? All Might is here!" he hissed.

All for One shrugged. "That's what I have Kurogiri for. Besides, your Uncle Machia desperately wanted to come along. He only agreed to stay in the mountains because I said I would record every last moment. Do you want to see what would happen if Gigantomachia came here?"

"No." Hanta pinched the bridge of his nose. "But you're almost as bad! What is All Might going to think if he catches you with a banner with my name on it?"

"That I'm a great father? A way better father than him."

"All Might doesn't even have children."

"Not officially, but I have my suspicions about the green-haired kid." All for One winked. "Yes, One for All is a passed along ability. But have you seen the kid's All Might impersonation? Very convincing. I read a fascinating online conspiracy theory."

"I don't care about how far Todoroki spread his theory in the last five minutes!" Hanta resisted the urge to tear out his own hair. He took deep breaths. He was getting side-tracked. To win, he needed to be subtle. "Dad, why don't you use a Demon King banner instead? I, uh, would feel greatly encouraged to see the Demon King's iconic face. It would be even more encouraging than my own name."

"Oh, if you really think so." All for One immediately brightened at a chance to promote his favorite character. He altered the banner using a quirk.

Relieved, Hanta returned to the group. No one had even noticed the banner, all too focused on winning. Except perhaps Denki Kaminari, who gave him an odd look.

Class 1-A had gone out for bubble tea to celebrate everyone getting into the Forest Training Camp. Hanta was cheerfully slurping on a strawberry lichee drink when a group of thugs burst in the door.

The one in the lead bellowed, "We're here to collection protection money—" Hanta looked up. Their gazes locked. The thug immediately fell on his face. "I'm very sorry, I had no idea this place belonged to you."

"We're sorry!" all the wannabe thugs wailed together, collapsing to the ground and sobbing.

"Please don't turn us into Nomu!"

"I have a family!"

"I have a life-size sex doll waiting for me at home!"

Hanta ducked behind Denki and pretended to be someone who had absolutely no involvement in any of this nonsense. He glared at the thugs, trying to convey with his eyes that they shouldn't incriminate him. This only made them wail louder.

With none of his friends looking, Hanta risked shooing the thugs toward the door. They fled.

"That was odd," Momo said.

Tenya adjusted his glasses. "Clearly those low-lives were terrified upon seeing hero students at this restaurant. As well they should be."

"They were scared off by me!" Katsuki claimed. "I won the Sports Festival."

Shouto muttered, "Actually, they said something about Nomu. It almost seemed like they feared All for One."

Hanta sweated.

"Perhaps the owner of this restaurant might be All for One?" Shouto asked.

Ochaco laughed. "I've been going here since I was a little kid! The owner is a sweet old lady."

"All for One's lovechild? His secret squeeze? There must be some connection."

Hanta counted himself lucky that no one listened to Shouto's nonsense.

The Forest Training Camp attack was the most terrifying moment of Denki's life, and he'd gotten between Ochaco and the last mochi.

Denki stumbled through the forest, Moonfish chasing him, cackling, "Sweet flesh…"

As Denki's legs grew heavy, and his heart beat madly, he finally realized he'd run up against a cliff. He turned to face the villain.

"There you are!" Hanta cried, running forward. He planted himself between Moonfish and Denki. Glaring at the villain, he said, "I'm in no mood to deal with you. Fuck off."

Moonfish wailed, "Flesh…"

"Do you want my father to turn your flesh inside out and feed it to the Nomu?"

Moonfish lowered his head and slunk away.

Hanta turned to Denki, looking sheepish. "So…about what you just saw…"

Denki stuttered.

"Hey, little brother!" Tomura Shigaraki ran forward, waving. "Glad I found you before I finished this side quest. How have you been doing?"

"Tomura!" Hanta wailed. "You can't just call me that!" He looked around for anyone else listening. "And I've been doing horribly since you attacked my friends and ruined my camp."

"Sorry. Every mission requires losing some hit points." Tomura shrugged. "I thought if I kidnapped a friend your age for you, maybe you'd give up on this hero DLC and join me on the main quest to conquer Japan."

"Don't you dare!" Hanta shrieked. "Leave my friends alone. Get out of here!" He chased off Tomura, pummeling his back with his fists.

Tomura let himself be driven away, but not before calling over his shoulder, "Are we still on for playing League of Legends tomorrow?"

Hanta gripped a tree, panting. Eventually, he said, "You must have questions."

"I already know that you're All for One's son," Denki said. Remembering his manners, he added, "Thanks for the save."

"I'm surprised no one else has figured it out." Hanta sighed deeply. "I guess people just don't notice me."

"Yeah, all the attention goes to flashy kids like Midoriya and Bakugo."

"I didn't tell anyone because I was afraid people would suspect me as a spy and throw me out of school. But it turns out my teachers barely even remember that I exist, much less notice anything odd about me. At this rate, I could probably do a dance and announce my father's real identity on television, and no one would believe me."

Denki laughed. "Man, that would be silly! No one would do that in real life."

"I know." Hanta cracked a smile. "I'll keep it in mind if I ever get desperate. But I'd rather people don't know. I mean…it's All for One. He's just too embarrassing."

"I get it. I promise I won't tell." Denki held out his hand, and they shook on it. "What are friends for?"

OMAKE TIME!

All for One: My son and I are going to be rivals. Hero and villain locked in an epic showdown! It will be awesome!

Hanta: Truthfully I see myself as more of a support hero. Can you fight Midoriya instead? Todoroki says that he's All Might's secret lovechild.

Aoyama: Why is the boss' son in my class?

Hanta: You don't talk about me, and I won't talk about how you used to be quirkless when we played together as kids.

Aoyama: Fair enough. Hey, weren't you quirkless too?

Hanta: My dad later gave me a tape quirk because he wants us to always stick together.

Aoyama: I'm happy to just be the spy and not his son.

#

Hanta: No one even notices that All for One is my dad.

Ojiro: Fist-bump. It was the same way in my own birthday fic.

Hanta: I'm also super good at manipulating All for One.

Denki: Fist-bump.
