Chattering noise and bright lights were seen in the busy town of the Leaf village. His gaze softened as the sound brought nostalgic feeling before hardening as he felt the ache in his heart recalling the betrayal he experienced. Turning towards the tallest tower of the village - Hokage tower - where their leader resides, he noted the time. Slipping through the shadow, he decided to disguise himself before disappearing.

It was past midnight, when he decided to leap through the trees, silently slipping through the room and decided to wait for the person to notice his presence. Not alerting the ANBUs, he uses his aura - Kagome taught him how to use it before they separated - helping him erect a barrier to protect whoever invades him and vice versa. Turning towards the sleeping Hokage, he decided to get near only to hear the popping sound of the substitution technique, moving silently, his whole body stiffening as the cold sharp object pressed on his head.

"Who are you?" Hiruzen stressed out, feeling no malice from the invader. Rotating his head, he turned his eyes towards him.

"Sandaime-sama, it is I" Hiruzen hummed as the familiar voice was still unknown to him. Putting away the kunai from his head, he let the invader face him. Gasping, his pair of eyes widened at the figure in front of him.

"You! I thought you were dead-" shaking his head to erase the illusion and shouting release in his mind only for the figure to remain solid in his eyes. "Shisui Uchiha.." Facing the leader of his once village, he knelt in respect.

"I have return, Hokage-sama"

Pair of blue eyes look at the men who were said to be Temari's siblings. Holding the gaze of the younger one, she waited. "Kankuro" calling his older brother's name, Kagome breaks his gaze at him. Hearing a 'tsk' from him, she glared at him.

'Fucking rude'

Being released from catatonic position, she tried to wiggle her fingers and toes before facing them fully.

"What business do you have with me? If you're looking for Temari, she's not here" her ire was still present, however, she tried to be respectful as much as possible. Picking up the letter that fell on the floor, she turned her back on them.

Placing an invisible barrier around them, she looks back specifically to Gaara. Her eyes glowing slightly as to stress her authority.

"Tanuki, if you dare come near me without revealing yourself properly, expect my wrath." Letting a small aura slip from her form, making Gaara shiver from unknown emotion as sweat makes its way down his forehead. Kagome releases her barrier, before continuing in her path down the street of the town. Kankuro decided to rebut but a gaze stopped him. Gaara looked at her back before turning around.

"Let's go"
