Ope Deku
Notes- I am honestly surprised I haven't seen this crossover story yet but basically I'll be giving Deku Law's powers from One Piece with a few tweaks and creative liberties you will see later on. This is my first story so don't be too harsh on me I beg there will be no harems involved and I might be giving Haki to Deku but for now it's just the Ope-Ope powers for now not sure how long this story will go on for but enjoy :D
The boy and his mother sat in the doctor's office in silence waiting on the results to come back with baited breath. The young boy was nervous as his quirk was yet to come in, and elementary was about to begin. All his friends had their quirks, even Bakugo had his. Izuku turned 4 several months ago so his quirk should have shown already and he was getting nervous. His mother seemed to read his mind and grabbed his hand and told him that she was confident he would get his quirk as she said that the doctor walked in with a set of papers and took a seat across from them. "Well your results are in and they are quite puzzling as they show all the signs of someone with a quirk. So if you haven't noticed anything then it must be a dormant quirk, or it needs more time. Until we have an actual activation we will have to put your son as quirkless in the registry. If you don't mind, what is your quirk Miss Midoriya?" "Oh it's nothing too crazy, I have telekinesis. I'm not too sure what the upper limit is as I never trained it but my current limit is 5 pounds or so." nodding, the doctor then asked "and the boy's father?" "His dads quirk was a bit more unique; he had the ability to create barriers that allowed him to sense things trapped inside. He could do more inside the barriers but unfortunately I don't know what." then the doctor turned to the nervous 4 year old "chin up young man I am sure you will get a strong ability." The boy looked up at him with big green eyes shining with anticipation and asked "can I be a hero then?" The doctor let out a chuckle and patted him on the shoulders. "I'm sure you will be a great hero with that attitude." he gave the documents to the mother and left the room. The car ride was quick and quiet and Izuku had nothing on his mind but quirk and what it could be, but little did he know it would be a very long time before he found out and things would get real tough for the young boy.
"So you're quirkless" said an angry looking pomeranian. "No i'm not Ka`chan the doctor told me it's just dormant"he tried to argue to no effect and the blond just rolled his eyes and scoffed "yeah whatever you're the only one without a quirk so that makes you the weakest. HA I guess you actually are a useless Deku after all." and so started the name calling and it only spiraled from there as Bakugo got his minions in on it. Things began to get out of hand once they got to middle school. The bullying went from verbal to physical and Bakugo began to use his explosive quirk on Izuku who still has not awakened his quirk and the whole school thought him to be quirkless. Unfortunately for Izuku even the teachers were prejudiced against him ,and turned a blind eye to Bakugo's blatant abuse and quirk usage. Izuku's only relief was another victim of the explosive boy who found him beaten and bruised on the ground. "Oh my god are you ok let me get you to the nurse" she reached out to him with a concerned look on her face. He reached up and took the outstretched hand and and examined the girl "I-Im okay bu-but
Look at you, your clothes are burned, are you okay?" he said while trying not to look too hard at her exposed skin "no i'm fine It was just a graze I think he just wanted to scare me or something he. I bet he won't try again after I slapped him with a handful of acid. I'm Mina Ashido by the way and you're Deku right?" Izuku looked at the girl puzzled, not knowing how to react still freaking out that he actually spoke to a pretty girl "n-n-no my name is actually Izuku Midoriya Katsuki just likes to call me that to make fun of me." looking a bit downcast he let out a sigh and collected his things his bag had ripped in the beating he took earlier and his hero note book was damaged in the process. Mina bent down and looked at the mess of school supplies on the ground and saw the book and decided to ask "so you want to be a hero too?"while reaching for the book. Izuku blushed and grabbed it before she could get her hands on it "y-yeah I do it has been my dream for as long as i can remember." he said while quickly looking away as he could see her bust from the angle she was bent at. Unfortunately for him he unintentionally started something he wasn't properly equipped for because the girl noticed his reaction to both the notebook and her. She looked up at him with an evil look in her eyes "Oh what's in the book is it a secret, can I see, is it something naughty?" even more flustered and frantic the boy waved his hands "No nothing like that I promise it's just a book of quirk analysis I have done, but if you're that curious you can see them. Here" handing the book to the strange looking girl she flipped through is seeing all types of pro hero descriptions and breakdown. "Impressive, these are very detailed and organized
Even the drawings look good. Did you actually do this?" Embarrassed he thanked the girl "Yeah a lot is still unfinished like the All Might page i still haven't worked out what his quirk actually is yet" excitedly the girl ran at him "Hey can you do one for me you got some really good suggestions in here." extending his hands out silently asking for space he replied "sure just tell me what your quirk can do you said something about acid earlier didn't you." Ignoring Izuku's silent request she got closer "yeah I can make acid from any surface of my body I can also control how potent i want it to be or even the texture to some extent super cool right" taking a step back from the excitable girl before he had a heart attack. "Yeah that sounds really useful for hero work you could coat yourself in acid to make attacking you directly dangerous or coat your hands in acid to make your fist lethal weapons or_" "wait, wait, wait,your talking to fast" "oh sorry I kinda ramble when I get excited" he apologized looking embarrassed. "Ha Ha I noticed anyways what's your quirk since I told you about mine."Looking like a kicked puppy again he let out a heavy sigh "My quirk has not awakened yet" Without skipping a beat "oh ok then i'm sure it will be cool when it does you still got 3 years before UA so you can practice with it when you get it." surprised and confused, Izuku looked at her. "So you aren't going to hate me or something" now her turn to be confused " No why would I." "well most people hate the quirkless and-" "well I'm not most people, and I'm definitely not like Bakugo. Besides, you're way too interesting to hate because of something so trivial." Izuku sat there stunned, not knowing what to say "Hey you have a phone right can I have your number?" Mina asked with an outstretched hand. 'Is this really happening' he thought to himself. Giving her his number and saving the contact he got in return he looked at her "Well I have to be on my way my mom is expecting me and I shouldn't keep her waiting." "Ok well i'll text you later on and don't forget about my analysis" she waved at him and left as well.
