When fated mate bonds are tested, will love be able to overcome the unthinkable?
Sasusaku Werewolf AU. I'll leave a summary at the end to explain this one. And yeah… sorry again for another werewolf AU. ?
'Sir, there's an intruder.'
'Who is it,' the alpha wolf demanded from his office chair, his long fingers steepled in front of him as his eyes narrowed in annoyance. He was waiting on an important client… one who could change the entire dynamic (and future for that matter) of his pack, and the last thing he needed was to be interrupted by some ignorant rogue trying to soil his lands.
Though it didn't seem like it, the alpha was a stern, but fair man.
Loving with his pack, yet had a hard, 'no nonsense' exterior towards outsiders and traitors alike. And on a normal basis, the alpha had more patience and a little bit more tolerance for interruptions such as this and was surprisingly accommodating to most of the wayward travelers or simple passers by; depending on their situation and intentions of course. However, not today.
The mind link with his patrolling wolves felt fuller as yet another wolf entered into the conversation. 'It… appears to be a lone she-wolf, sir.'
'No, not alone. She's carrying something, alpha.'
'Track her down and catch her…,' he sighed as he closed his eyes briefly before rising from his chair. 'Don't kill yet. I'll be there soon.'
'Yes, sir!'
The sounds of his men as they answered in unison resonated in his mind before he cut the link to them entirely; the sudden onslaught of a severe migraine forming. With great effort, and a growing frustration, he made his way out of the pack house and into the surrounding woods, unknowingly being followed by his youngest offspring.

The she-wolf, who's dense, blonde coat looked as if it had seen better days, staggered half-hazardously in a daze through the large blanket of brush as she made her way through the surrounding foliage of an unknown forest. Her feeble attempt to shake off her attackers was seemingly futile, until she ran straight past the border of the most powerful pack currently in existence.
Even those rogues knew better than to cross that line and quickly turned back, towards the direction they came. Mebuki felt as if she had no choice and pressed on, feeling the life force in her body waning with each passing second. A tiny whimper built from within her chest, a sorrowful sob fueled by the grief raking her entire body, sending it into spasms. Her mate, her beloved Kizashi, had perished, of that she was certain— just as certain as she was that she to would soon follow his lead.
Their pack had been attacked.
They had lost.
All had perished— apart from her and her precious cargo.
With no alternative, the crippled she-wolf made her presence known… her precious cargo weighing her muzzle down where she held onto it firmly. Mebuki crashed into smaller trees, purposely toppling them over in order to get the attention of the large wolves patrolling the border, and of course it worked.
The desperate she-wolf heard them gaining on her quickly and let out a massive sigh of relief.
She only hoped that they wouldn't kill her on sight, nor the precious cargo she held so dear, once she was gone from this life. She slowed to a trot before stopping completely as four much larger, jet-black wolves surrounded her. Her pointed ears went flat as one made to move closer, and let out a warming growl for him to stay away. He returned it with force, and took up a defensive stance in front of her.
'Who are you,' he questioned, his voice deep and rough. It was intimidating to say the least, but she was firm in standing her ground; knowing that her young pup's life depended on it.
'Please, sir, I mean no harm. I only wish to converse with your alpha for a moment.'
'I said, who are you…,' he repeated, his tone more firm as he pushed his aura towards her. She felt the pressure of it all at once, down the full length of her spine, and if it hadn't been for her muscles tensing, the she-wolf probably would have fallen to the dirt, with her belly up in submission.
It took everything Mebuki had to keep from doing so now; and yet a whimper still left her as she averted her gaze to the ground quickly; a show of weakness that she couldn't fault herself for, given his superior status and her current circumstances. This she-wolf may have been a formidable Luna in her own right, but these werewolves were something completely different.
It took her another full minute to register it… taking in a deep inhale of forest air… but when she caught their scent, her eyes widened in fear. 'Lycan…,' she thought all too late, and a feeling of dread began to fill the pit of her stomach. In her confusion, Mebuki had gone in the wrong direction. She hadn't crossed over into the Uzumaki lands as she'd thought; she'd unknowingly trespassed into Uchiha territory.
Lycan territory.
She continuously swallowed past the lump forming in the back of her throat, but just as the male lycan in front of her made to move closer, a colder (more formidable) presence could be felt behind her and she closed her eyes as fear caused her entire body to tremble. 'This must be the alpha,' she concluded.
"Who are you, little she-wolf? Why have you come here onto our lands?" His voice was rich and deep, demanding compliance… much more intimidating than the others… and the she-wolf slowly turned to face him; her eyes remained firmly downward. Even in his human form, she could tell that this man was dangerous. He could easily kill her if he wished.
She'd need to proceed with extreme caution if she wanted a chance at saving her pup. 'Please…,' she begged as her head hung lower. 'I-I only wish to find refuge for my child. Our pack was attacked, she will be the lone survivor.'
"You've come to the wrong place, little she-wolf. I cannot help you. Leave our lands at once and never return. Take it with you." He began to turn away and she panicked; her head lifting up when she made to step forward, but Mebuki's vision suddenly blurred, and she stumbled; falling to the ground while a soft whimper of pain escaped her lips.
The alpha paused in his strides, head turned slightly as he gazed at her with an unreadable expression. Her bright green eyes met his knowing full well how disrespectful it must be, but she was unable to look away from him as she tried to plead with him again. 'I-I'm… all that she has now. Soon… s-she will b-be alone. I o-only wish for her to have a s-safe place to g-grow up, and t-to live a full and happy life. Please, d-don't leave h-her to d-die… when I-I'm… g-gone.'
Her vision grew fainter, blurring with tears and the beginning of death before her entire body went still; her jaw went completely slack as her spirit began to quickly fade. A whimper escaped her lips; and then, she was gone.

The powerful alpha let out a deep sigh and closed his dark eyes, fingers twitching at his sides, before he turned away from the scene. "Take care of this," he instructed one of his patrol wolves… who in turn bowed his head in submission and compliance.
He started to walk away, but then—
"What are you doing here, son?"
"I followed you, Father."
Fugaku shook his head, his lips twitched and itched to form a small, soft smile for his beloved kin. "You shouldn't have done so. What would I have done if something had happened to you, son? If it had been a real threat?"
His youngest pup ignored the question and made to step around him, his head tilted towards one side as he gazed at the scene behind his father in curiosity. A firm hand on his shoulder stopped him. "No," his father simply said when the child looked up at him with a perplexed expression. "Come along."
"But…," the youngster protested while a small frown formed on his lips. "What will happen to her?"
"That is none of your concern. Come along before your poor Mother worries about your whereabouts."
The child suddenly jerked his arm out of his father's grip… who was surprised by this. His youngest was normally compliant. 'What has come over him?' The alpha observed in complete and utter astonishment as his offspring walked with purpose towards the now deceased she-wolf and her pup; titling his head as he bent down to closely inspect the pair… before then reaching out to lift the tiny, little white thing into his arms.
He cradled the shivering, whimpering pup against his chest firmly, before moving confidently past his father in the direction of their pack house.
"Sasuke, what are you—"
The dark-haired child turned, eyes serious. "I'm not leaving her behind," he stated, and with that left his father and alpha standing in the center of the woods completely speechless as he made his way home, with his precious cargo in hand.
Author's Notes:
If any of these sound like your own writing or another you have read I apologize but I didn't copy anyone's work. This is entirely my own writing.
So, the idea that I have for this one goes kind of like this:
Sakura is from a normal werewolf pack who were attacked by a group of wayward rogues. Her mother escapes with her, but dies shortly after due to the loss of her mate and injuries sustained by the fight. (Their souls are basically connected as one once mated, so if one of them dies… so does the other.) Sasuke is a foolish little boy who manages to take the young Sakura in & his father actually allows it, not knowing why the two seem so connected— until their 16th birthday, when the first signs of their mate bond begin to make itself known.
But how will the rest of Sasuke's "pure lycan family" react to having a mere werewolf as their new Luna once she's of age? Will they accept or reject her?
What will Sakura do once "competition" arrives right on the pack house's doorstep, in the form of a sexy, young seductress? Will she be able to hold onto her title as future Luna… or will Sasuke's heart be taken by another; by an evil enchantress. Does she have the power to defy fate & steal Sakura's fated mate as her own or will she be stopped before it's too late by Sakura, with the help of some unusual & unlikely alias.
