The fairy stumbled across the empty halls as the sound of loud thumping could be heard from the lobby. It sounded as if people wanted to escape from this place by breaking through the door… The fairy sighed, understanding that it was likely impossible that they would be able to escape from the mansion right now if that wouldn't do it. It seemed like those people were stumbling harder than herself...
…That fairy's identity was one of Daiyousei, Cirno's friend.
She had secretly followed Cirno within the confines of the mansion to make sure she was okay, but it seems she had caught herself up in something that she shouldn't have involved herself in… She felt scared, but also happy that she was in this place with Cirno at least.
As she looked around, she ended up becoming lost within the endless empty hallways of the mansion. They were vast, with no way out in sight.
…One thing was more strange than the vastness though.
It felt odd, staring at the empty places that would usually be bustling with maid fairies, when there was in fact no maid fairies within any of these areas at this time. It was unnatural. What caused them all to disappear? She assumed that the maid fairies were all helping out in the escape, most likely… Hopefully that was the case. If not… that shiver down her spine might be worth more than she thought.
As she walked, there were paintings on the walls. Ones of Remilia, ones of Flandre. Even paintings of both of them together, as well as some unknown figures.
…As she walked down the hallways though, she felt as if the Remilia portraits were changing to something else. As if they were fading away. As if… this wasn't her mansion anymore. Something else wished to claim the mansion as its own.
The memory of this mansion faded away. Replaced with the nonexistent reality before her.
…This is a familiar face.
That was all she could think as the nonexistent portrait stood before her. It was unrecognisable, yet still viewable to the naked eye. There's only one person who would match that description. Beyond recognisability, yet still undeniably within this world's very fabric. What she looked like was purely up to the imagination.
…Rin Satsuki.
For once, she thought of the name. Daiyousei remembered it well. She couldn't speak it though. That would cause problems. For one, if one were to simply speak it… There would be a universal disturbance due to her… position in the universe, let's just say.
It felt as if she had forgotten, but now she remembers. The one who used to be doomed into an eternal slumber, but now they have awoken. Thanks to her, no less.
Was this a good thing though…? She shook her head. She wasn't sure.
She was sure that even she was here if Rin Satsuki was here as well. Daiyousei didn't quite remember her identity, but it was clear to her that she felt guilty in some capacity for the fate that she had given Rin. That's why she had to be here.
Daiyousei had no choice...
...She feels dread just thinking about it.
