Wile E. Coyote for sure thought he got the Roadrunner right where he wanted the bird with the sand paper trick but all that not so wily coyote did was get stuck in it himself for the poor lucky mammal wasn't looking at the road that he had entirely covered up in the sticky trap; the Road Runner managed to use the build up speed in his talons to get out, leaving poor Wile stuck in the position of being ran over by the speedy avian since the coyote chalked this up as yet another failure that stuck to him literally.
