'There are several moments in our lives;

But only a few of them actually count for something,

It's in these small moments of truth that we find our true selves.'

-DireWolfEmily

(Back with Mabel...)

This was it…

The moment of truth!

Mabel bit her bottom lip as she, Ivan, Steve, Candy, and the members of the Zodiac hid in one of the destroyed buildings just below the Fearamid.

"Do you think he's ready for us?" Pacifica asked. "Dipper I mean?"

Mabel could feel the uneasiness in her stomach growing. She hadn't physically seen Dipper since he told her not to risk coming to the barrier anymore. Instead Steve had ran back and forth between them, sending letters.

She missed him dearly, but for the last three days Dipper's letters had grown colder; almost as if being away from other humans was effecting him,

Making his heart like stone…

She was hoping that it was just her imagination, but if she didn't know better she'd say Dipper was starting to sound like Bill.

He was starting to sound like a heartless demon! "Mabel?" Pacifica asked breaking her from her thoughts.

"He'll be fine." Mabel said quickly, thought she wasn't sure she believed her own words. "But how are we going to get to him?" Candy asked. "We're all out of Bill's blood."

"Steve?" Mabel asked. "How did your assignment go?"

Steve cleared his throat as he held up a small bag of pixy dust. "One bag of pixy dust as requested my lady."

"Dust how is that going to work?" Ollie asked.

"Duh Pixy's use the help of their dust to grant wishes." Ben explained.

"So?" Ollie asked still not getting it.

"So we can use the dust to make our own wish, like I don't know; wish we were already in the Fearamid outside of our enemies view." Ben said.

Mabel smiled, and dumped a little of the dust into her hand. "And so you have wished it, and so it shall be!" she couldn't help but giggle as she blew the dust out of her hand.

Everyone gasped as they disappeared only to reappear inside the Fearamid. "Whoa that's amazing Ben!" Timmy exclaimed.

"Wait a go Mabel!" Wendy said with an encouraging smile. She knew this all had to hard for her, after all winning today meant she'd be sending her brother away to a decaying world forever.

Mabel appreciated the sentiment, but even though she was conflicted by the outcome of today's events; she knew that this is what Dipper would want.

He wouldn't want her to hang on to him, and risk the safety of the Multiverse. She had to let him go.

"Okay guys we can't stay still for long." She warned them.

"No doubt the ceremony will take place in the throne room." Ivan stated the obvious.

"Okay someone else make the wish." Mabel ordered.

"What do you mean someone else?" Pacifica asked.

"You're only permitted 1 wish per pixy. So if we wanted Mabel to do all the wishing we'd need several different sacks of dust; each from a different pixy." Steve explained.

"What a rip off!" Robbie whispered.

"Guys will someone please make the wish before we're spotted!" Wendy snapped.

"Dudes I got this!" Soos said, then after clearing his throat he made his wish. "I wish we were in the throne room, out of sight, and invisible from the enemy!"

"Good job Soos!" Mabel praised and blew the dust out of her hand.

The group disappeared again, only to poof into the throne room visible to each other, but not to the enemy demons who were busily decorating the room around them.

"How long do you think this wish will last?" McGucket asked.

"About 20 minutes maybe 30." Ivan answered him.

"Then let's get started!" Mabel whispered. "Robbie can me!"

Robbie nodded and handed her a can of paint, and Mabel began to drawl the Zodiac on the floor behind the throne.

"Steve and I will act as the look out." Ivan told them. "You guys do what it is you do." Everyone nodded as Mabel finished the circle,

It was time!

"Everyone get in your spots and join hands!" Mabel whispered.

Everyone did as they were told and the energy began to flow through them as a dark ring of clouds formed over the Fearamid.

This was it, the moment of truth!

Mabel took a shaky breath hoping to whoever was listening that they would make it out alive!

(Back with Bill...)

"This is it Teeth." Bill said happily. "In 30 minutes I'll be an untouchable God with a beautiful Goddess by my side; and nothing will ever pose a threat to our cause again."

"You said it Boss." Teeth laughed nervously. "I mean I admit I still have a few doubts about that kid, but in the end your right."

"Doubts?" Bill asked.

"Well yeah, you know with him being a demon of vengeance and all." Teeth spoke shakenly.

"Usually your fears would be understood." Bill told him as he straightened up his bow tie. "But Dipper is a special case, unlike most demons of vengeance Pine Tree's human personality is calling the shots..."

"Sure, but don't humans get vengeful too?" Teeth asked.

"Sure, but Pine Tree still loves me far too much to do what must be done." Bill pointed out the obvious.

"Which is?" Teeth asked.

"Once I become a god He'll have to take me to the break of death in order to destroy my physical form, which will suck us all back into the Nightmare realm." Bill explained. "Not to mention once we bond we'll be equals, meaning Pine Tree will have to start making deals in order to gain more power, and well if you think we dream demons wreak havoc when we make deals you should see demons of vengeance; now they wreak some havoc. Not to mention, unlike me Dipper would actually have to get his pawns killed, or kill them himself in order to consume their soul to gain more power in the first place. Which is something we all know he could never do."

"I suppose your right Boss." Teeth agreed.

"Of course I am, now-" Bill froze as a bad feeling suddenly swept over him. "No!" he growled.

"What is it Boss?" Teeth asked.

"I don't know how she's done it, but somehow Shooting Star is here…in the Throne Room."

"What are we going to do?" Teeth Asked.

Bill stopped to think for a moment, and then smiled a wicked smile.

"I think it's about time we tested Pine Tree's loyalty to our cause." Bill snickered.

Teeth couldn't help but snicker as well,

This was going to be good…

(Back with Dipper)

"I do..."

"Come on King say it with feeling!"

Dipper rolled his eyes and took a deep breath "I do."

"Seriously no one is going to buy that!" Light hissed.

Dipper groaned in frustration, after the close encounter with Bill this morning, the room was put back in order and Pyronica had come in got him ready; and then left to help with the final preparations for the ceremony.

Leaving Dipper and Light to practice their "I do's" Not that they needed to.

"Light the wedding isn't even going to happen, Mabel is probably already in the Fearamid." Dipper pointed out.

"True." Light whispered. "But if they fail-"

"They won't!" Dipper said, interrupting him.

"How do you know?" Light asked. "Are you a demon of fate?"

"No…" Dipper admitted rolling his eye.

"No you're a demon of vengeance with an unconvincing I do!" Light lectured. "Now let's try this again!"

"I…Do" Dipper said bluntly.

"Now one more time King!" Light ordered. "And let's make it convincing this time!"

Dipper couldn't help but groan again. "What's the point? Besides Mabel will beat him!" he assured Light.

"Well for your sake, and more importantly mine; I hope she does." Light agreed.

Suddenly the door opens; it's Pyronica. "It's Time!" She says.

Dipper forced a smile. "Then let get this puppy on a roll." He joked as he followed her out of the room and towards the throne room.

(Back with Bill...)

Bill entered the throne room fully aware of his current situation…

He walked up to the arch way which was right in front of the throne, he knew good and well of the danger that stood behind it; but he had it under control.

This would be Dipper's chance to show his worth, and earn the trust of his men; this was his chance to prove he really was commented to their cause.

Wedding music filled the room as a purple diamond demon began to play on the piano. Bill smiled happily, despite the predicament he was currently in.

The large doors opened revealing his beautiful bride to be.

Dipper walked down the aisle trying to appear unaware of what was about to happen, after all if everything went wrong now, he'd be the last hope for then all. He didn't even get half way across the floor before Bill's throne suddenly lifted up in the air revealing…

"Well, Well, Well." Bill mused. "If it isn't Shooting Star, and here merry band of misfits!"

Dipper froze, Bill wasn't surprised, and worse still he didn't look worried either; and that made Dipper shiver.

Something was wrong he could feel it!

"It's over Bill!" Mabel exclaimed. "We're here to exile you from which you came!"

"Really?" Bill asked looking unphased by her threats. "Well let's see what my fiancé thinks about that?" he said as he moved behind Dipper, using him as a shield.

Oh God!

All eyes turned towards Dipper!

"Fiancé?" Wendy snapped obviously pretending to be surprised for Dipper's sake. "You're going to marry this jerk!"

Dipper knew he should be feeling a sudden since of doom wrapping around him. But to his surprised he didn't, in fact now that he thought about it he wasn't really worried that things were going wrong; even though he knew he should be totally freaking out!

"If Dipper's marrying you it's because you gave him no choice!" Mabel declared. Obviously keeping up the act, and everyone seemed to follow her lead. It wasn't like they could do anything else after all Bill was behind Dipper, and without a clear shot Mabel; and the others would not be able to deliver a single blast of energy towards Bill.

"Yeah you creep!" Pacifica yelled backing Mabel up.

"Oh I assure you Pine Tree had a choice, and he chose us!" Bill declared.

"YEAH!" The demons around them cheered.

"And now here's his chance to prove he can be trusted." Bill continued placing his hands on Dipper's shoulders giving him a sweet smile. "Darling if you would do the honors of getting rid of these peasants!"

Again Dipper knew he should be panicking, but he felt nothing. He just stood there, dumbly staring at Mabel and the others. Something was wrong, Dipper could feel it, but what he felt wasn't the problem.

It's what he didn't feel!

Usually he'd get over joyed when he was reunited with his sister after so long! But there was no since of joy upon seeing her face, it did not warm his heart to know that she was safe like it used to. Just like he didn't feel a rush of joy to know that his friends were here to take out Bill.

No, if anything it filled him with dread, Dread and…Anger! "Stay out of this Dipper!" Mabel exclaimed. "We got this!"

Bill laughed. "You just don't get it do you?" he asked. "Pine Tree is with us now aren't you Pine Tree?"

Mabel had hopped it wouldn't come to this, but she could see now that it was inevitable. Somehow the twins' plan had gone terribly wrong, and they were on opposite sides of the playing field. "Dipper move aside!" Mabel yelled, begging him with her eyes to let her take Bill out as they planned.

But Dipper no longer wanted her to take Bill out!

'This is too easy!' Light hissed. 'If we let them take him out now he'll never learn his lesson! He'll just come back and try again, regain a new physical form and bam! Just like that he'll be right where he is now!'

Dipper couldn't agree more, sure he wanted Bill to get his just deserts; but a part of him felt as if this punishment wasn't sever enough for his crimes. Bill took away his Uncles, killed other's and used their corpses to rebuild his throne. Bill had taken everything from them, and yet if they took Bill out now they wouldn't be taking anything from him! No, they would just be prolonging his plans is all. Sooner or later he'd try again, and the Multiverse would find themselves in the same mess they were in now.

And that wasn't good enough for Dipper!

Dipper didn't want to just defeat Bill! No, he wanted to get even! He wanted to give Bill everything he ever loved and wanted. And then take it away from him!

He wanted to play him as the fool!

Just as Bill had done to him, just as Bill had done to everyone who ever shook his hand!

Because that's the kind of vengeance Bill deserved to be dished out at him, and nothing less would do! After all the punishment should fit the crime, and if Mabel had it her way, then Bill would be getting off easy. And that wasn't going to fly with Dipper! Oh no! He was a demon of vengeance, and that made him judge, jury and executer! And no One was going to get off easy!

Especially Bill!

He supposed He should have known it would turn out this way; that sooner or later his since of justice would become twisted and perverted. After all, all demons of vengeance had a sick since of justice. Sure their human personality stayed intact unlike other demons.

But you know what they say about Evil:

'If you stay around it long enough, sooner or later it will consume you.'

Dipper had been dragged down to hell, and corrupted! His Justice was not Justice, but vengeance; plain and simple.

"I'm sorry Mabel." Dipper said, and yet he wasn't really sorry at all.

It was strange and hard to explain, but now he could see the truth; somehow he had lost his connection to all the people he had ever known, and loved.

Including Mabel!

And now Mabel could see it too, her fears had been realized; Dipper was like them now. He was a heartless demon, with only his own interest in mind!

'I should have never stayed away!' She realized. 'I should have come with Steve every time regardless of what he asked.'

Of course that realization had come a little too late. And now here they were on opposite sides!

"If you want Bill you'll have to kill me first!" Dipper yelled.

"Traitor!" Ollie yelled, still following the ruse; but he could tell everyone in the circle was very afraid.

They hadn't plan for Bill to use Dipper as a shield, even worse they hadn't plan for Dipper to willingly protect him! No, they were hoping Bill would handle things, and Dipper would just be a bystander. But that hope went out the window as soon as Dipper floated forward with two yellow flaming fist, standing in front of Bill protectively.

Mabel, and the others braced themselves.

"Mabel wait!" Ivan yelled from behind them. "The Zodiac is meant for Bill, it'll work on other Demons, but you'll just waste your energy."

Mabel let go of Gideon's and Pacifica's hands, and pulled out her Pixy Dust; pouring it into her hand. "I got this!" she told them.

"Mabel if you leave the circle Bill-" Timmy began.

"Bill will be able to get the slip on us? Yeah I know." She told him. "But if we stay we'll waste all our energy on Dipper. And I won't let this get screwed up again, no; not this time!" She gave her brother a hopeful look. "Dipper please…"she pleaded. "We can beat him together!"

"There is no 'We' " Dipper told her "Not this time."

"So what? You're just going to turn your back on humanity after all we've been through?" Wendy yelled.

Dipper didn't even bother to answer her, but his silence was enough for Mabel to get the picture. She stiffened her upper lip, and held her dust filled hand in front of her mouth. "Then for my wish, I wish to have the power to fight you!"

Time seemed to crawl as Mabel blew the pixy dust and a brilliant white light flashed around them. And once it clear everyone gasped.

For suddenly floating in the same spot as Mabel had been standing was a demon… In the shape of a shooting star!

No one spoke for the longest time, it was a dead stand still.

Finally it was Timmy who managed a whisper. "What is she doing?"

"And how is she a demon?" Ben asked.

"It's the wish, the only way she can be strong enough to fight Dipper is to become a demon herself." Ivan explain as he slowly walked up to them. "Don't worry it's not permanent she'll turn back to normal in about 20 minutes or so." He assured them.

But his assurance only pointed out an obvious truth. Mabel only had 20 minutes to win the fight, and she had little to no experience in magic. Unlike Dipper who had been taught by the best, and learned the dark arts all by himself; in one night no less. No, the odds where not in her favor; but Mabel refused to step down. She would not let Bill hurt anyone else, and if that meant she had to take her brother out too; then so be it!

"Last chance Dipper!" Mabel warned. "Don't make me hurt you."

"It's you that's going to get hurt!" Teeth spoke up. "You're messing with powers you don't even understand!"

"He's right Mabel it's over!" Dipper said softly, but his voice was cold; ice cold. He wanted to feel differently towards her, but no matter how hard he tried he felt nothing!

Nothing at all!

"There's no since in reasoning with you is there?" Mabel screamed. "There's nothing left!"

"No I'm sorry." Dipper admitted. "There isn't."

"So be it!" Mabel said doing her best to hold back her tears.

"Mabel listen to me!" Ivan yelled. "Let your anger guide you; it's the only advantage you have."

Mabel immediately began to follow his advice, letting her anger consume her; but as always Dipper was one step ahead of her.

"Anger?" He scoffed. "Don't you know old man?" he asked as his color changed from blue to green. "I'm a demon of vengeance, and no being; demon or otherwise knows anger like me!"

Mabel turned purple with rage. This was all that stupid Light's fault; he and Bill had corrupted her brother. And now they will both pay!

Purple flames engulfed her fist as four black ribbons attached to her back danced around like four extra arms.

Light watched as one of those black ribbons shot out at him, he dodged with ease, as Did Bill; but the demon behind Bill wasn't so lucky!

Teeth screamed as a thousand volts of electricity coursed through him.

Bill couldn't help be laugh, "A demon of electricity!" he mused. "You know Sixer always said you had an electrifying personality; and boy he wasn't kidding!"

The demons around her laughed loudly!

Mabel wanted to make them all shut up, but she forced herself to focus her rage on Light.

"How could you!" she yelled, lashing her ribbons out at him like four electric whips. "We trusted you!"

"Trusted?" Bill asked, giving Light a suspicious look.

Light dodged Mabel's new attack with ease. "Don't you get it you idiot!" Light laughed. "We sent those letters to lure you in so we could get rid of you once and for all!"

"You brought them here!" Bill asked suddenly in raged.

"Of course." Light said.

"Why!" Bill said turning red.

"Why for you!" Light said. "As a wedding gift." Of course Light was lying through his teeth, but he had to cover his own butt somehow. Mabel was lost in a rage, and had no control over what she was saying. "Now the last hope of the multiverse will be extinguished, and then nothing will be able to stop us!"

Us, not you; but US!

Bill couldn't help the overwhelming sensation. His Pine Tree was now seeing eye-to-eye with him; they were truly partners now. "Baby I'm touched." He said full heartedly.

"You traitor!" Mabel screamed and dove for Light.

Light dodge her once more, but this time he allowed his elbow to ram into her back.

Dipper watched her fall, but again he felt nothing. He knew he should be angry, but his body wouldn't let him. 'Why?' he asked himself.

Was it because he no longer saw himself as one of them?

He supposed that made since, sure he still felt emotions for Bill; but it was desire, and lust, not love!

No demons like him and Bill didn't feel love, they could tell themselves it was love, and perhaps it was the closes thing to it that they'd ever feel. But it still wasn't love.

No it was lust; plain and simple.

After all he was a demon like Bill now, and Mabel well… She was just simply in the way!

Mabel hit the floor with a loud thump, her vision blurred.

Dipper, and Light didn't even give her a chance to get up before they blasted her, with an energy blast. "Dipper please…" She moaned, she could barely keep her eyes opened.

'Sorry Sis.' Dipper and Light told her mentally, their voices spoke as one. 'But it has to be this way. Maybe someday you'll understand.'

'You're choosing revenge over me, your own sister?' Mabel asked. 'Can't you just let it go? Don't you see the lives that you'll ruin if we don't stop him now?'

'There is no other way!' they told her, and fired another blast of energy.

Mabel felt no pain, as the blast consumed her; a single tear ran down her face as her world went black. The demons cheered around Dipper as Mabel turned back into her original form.

He wanted to feel disgusted with himself, but instead Dipper found a smile slipping on her face. He had won the trust of his future subjects.

'Perhaps your sister served a purpose after all.' Light mused.

Bill smiled as he floated towards him. "Well done Pine Tree."

"Dipper how could you?" Wendy cried.

"So not cool dude." Soos agreed.

Ivan and the others stayed silent, trying their best to hold their ground, even though they knew they were finished. Mabel was down, and out so the Zodiac was worthless, and she had used the last bit of dust for her wish.

They were defenseless, with only their unicorn spelled sweaters to protect them. "So what do we do to them Boss?" Keyhole asked.

"Can we eat them?" 8ball said hopefully.

"No." Bill said bluntly. "Pine Tree has honored his promises to me and now I will do the same." Bill rose up in the air to address his subjects as a hole. "No more senseless killing! Every human no matter what they have done will be given the chance at a better life, to redeem themselves."

"Even them?" Teeth asked.

"Of course." Bill mused. "After all once our ceremony is complete they will be powerless against us. Speaking of-" Bill turned to Dipper hopefully. "Still want to get hitched kid?" he asked.

"I don't see why not." Dipper said as he returned to his blue form. "After all why should we let these peasants ruin our special day?"

"Very well, Teeth take the humans to the dungeon where they will stay until after the barrier is down." Bill ordered.

"Sure thing Boss." Teeth said and began to force the group to walk forward.

"Oh and do remember I'm sparing you now in order to give you a chance to be a part of our new world. But try and escape or get in our way again, then my men will have their wish in tarring you apart!" Bill warned his new prisoners.

Wendy and the others tried to fight, but several more demons joined in and grabbed them dragging them to the dungeons bellow.

All but Mabel who stayed lying on the floor.

"I've got Mabel." Dipper said, picking her up in his arms.

"Very well." Bill said. "But hurry back because we still got a knot to tie."

Dipper smiled. "Will do." He answered and then began his journey to the dungeons. When he got there he was met with hurt faces full of distain.

"Trust me one day you'll understand this is the only way." He told them.

"Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself you did the right thing!" Wendy shouted.

"To bad we're not buying it twerp." Robbie snapped.

"Do you think I care?" Dipper snapped as he placed Mabel down on the floor of the dungeon before. "I could care less if you believe me or not, but I am right; this is the way."

"Leave us alone traitor!" Ben yelled. "Can't you see we don't want you here?"

"Yeah!" Ollie agreed.

"Watch it that's your future Queen you speaking poorly to!" Teeth shouted ready to bounce.

"Don't let them get under your skin Teeth." Dipper ordered slamming the dungeon door shut between him and the humans. "Besides in about thirty minutes they'll be obsolete any way!"

"You monster!" Ivan yelled. "If Ford could see you now!"

Dipper turned his back on him. "Even Ford knew when he was beaten." He challenged and then walked away with the demon soldiers following behind him.

Wendy could feel the tears forming in her eyes. What had happened to him? Where was the Dipper she had once known?

He knew he was falling down a spiraling slop, but Dipper couldn't stop himself from feeling a sense of pride. He now had Bill and his men eating out of his hand, and now phase one of their plans were complete.

'Now for phase 2.' Light said.

'Which is?' Dipper asked.

'Why the wedding of course without this ceremony it will take us centuries just to catch up to Bill in power, and even longer to surpass him.' Light reminded him.

Dipper nodded his understanding and went to clean himself up, after all this was his special day, and everything must be perfect…!
