Chapter Notes

Author's Note's:
Time on Mewni goes by faster than Earth which explains why it is Star's 14th Birthday several days at the end of the last chapter. But still only moments after the barrier comes down in this chapter on Earth.
Me: Finally we're updating this story!
Bill: well if you didn't have so many!
Me: What I can't help it! When I get an idea I must stop everything and write!
Random Fan: I think her stories are amazing. There's a large variety of them, and she always finishes them...eventually.
Bill: Well I want this one finished now! Or at least get to the real action! Who cares about Earth? really that's old news!
Me: I know I want to get to Dipper meeting Star too, but there's this thing called a plot!
Random Fan: you should try writing a plot less story, now that's a challenge.
Bill: Don't give her any idea's or else she'll start another book! And then we'll have to wait even longer to get this done! Now Read!
Random Fan: FINE! (Starts reading) Back with Mabel…
"A toxic desire for vengeance always leads to war..."

(Back with Mabel seconds after the barrier came down.)
His betrayal had cut into her deeper than any knife could have ever done.
Their chains and zipped up mouths had long ago vanished, but the group of friends wasn't sure it was safe to move.
Finally Wendy dared to test fate, "That's it I'm getting up!" Wendy stood nothing happened. She took several steps forward, and nothing happened.
"They just let us go?" Candy was stunned.
"I can't like believe it!" Pacifica was amazed.
"Why keep us we can't stop them now." Mabel said getting to her feet.
She feels numb and it sucks!
"Mabel we can't give up, the others are planning to fight, and our families are out there!" Wendy told her.
Mabel turned and began to walk away.
"Look we know your bitter about Dipper, we all are, but even if there is no hope for us to defeat Bill everyone we love that is still here deserves a chance to survive! They deserve to live Mabel."
Mabel froze, her eyes narrowed. "You right." She said turning to them. "We have to save as many as we can!" She said as her hope, and will suddenly began returning as a new purpose emerged. "We can lead them to the ruins it's the last safe place we know of."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Ollie asked.
"Yeah let's go save the world one human at a time!" Ben agreed.
The team of rebels cheered and charged, all but Mabel who paused for a moment.
"Hey you coming?" Wendy asked as she happened to notice her lagging.
Mabel nodded. "Yeah let's go beat some demon butts."
Wendy laughed. "It's about time, and Mabel?"
"Yeah?"
"Welcome back."
Mabel smiled. "It's good to be back." She said, and she meant it! In fact for the first time in a long time she was sure that somehow, with or without Dipper by her side everything would be okay. "Let's go!"
Wendy cheered as the two ran to catch up with the others.
Neither of them realizing the dangers that they would soon face…
(Back with Dipper...)
The chaos,
It should have made his stomach churn with disgust… But instead Dipper felt only excitement!
"DIE YOU HUMANS! DIE!" Yuko exclaimed cutting several strings causing innocent humans to die in her wake. She then gathered their souls stuffing them into a bag for her master.
"Burn! Burn everything!" Magenta agreed.
Dipper laughed and threw more fire balls just to amuse her. It felt so good, he felt so free!
A maniacal laugh fills the air, and Dipper looks up to see Bill. He is in full demon mode, red hued, with several fanged filled mouths, and multiple clawed hands.
'He looks so powerful, and so handsome!' Dipper sighed.
'Okay he has officially done something to us!' Light screamed. 'I mean you being lovey dovey is one thing, but now even I'm feeling something here.'
Dipper ignored him and floated towards Bill, all starry eyed.
'Hey are you even listening to me!' Light screamed. 'Hello earth to King!'
Bill laughed full heartedly as his minions herded the humans in the next town over for Gravity Falls into their town square. "Alright you stupid flesh sticks the name is Bill Cipher, but you can call me your new God and Lord for all eternity now bow, or else!"
"Or else what?" one of the humans dared to ask.
"Good question." Bill mused, and then seeing Dipper approaching he said. "Everyone this is my Wife and your Goddess Dipper, and together we'll show you what happens when you question the strength of your Gods." He offered Dipper his hand.
Dipper took it without hesitation and their flames mixed as the two fused into one.
The humans gasped as the large beast scooped up the human who dared question them, and swallowed him whole!
"Now bow or else!" Dipper and Bill spoke at one.
The remaining humans fell on their knees, their hands folded; begging for their mercy. Bill laughed, this was great! He felt so powerful, so free, so…
Wait what was this feeling? He hadn't felt it the first time they had fussed, but he sure felt it know and it felt strange.
Like he and Dipper weren't alone…
"THAT'S IT HUMANS PRAISE YOUR NEW KING AND QUEEN!" Yuko demanded. "I SAID PRAISE THEM!"
"All hail Bill Cipher all Hail Dipper Cipher!" The humans chanted fearfully.
The demons around them joined in. "All hail Bill Cipher all Hail Dipper Cipher!"
Dipper twirled in the air happily as the two separated sighing deeply.
Bill gives him a weird look.
What was up with him, sure it was cute having his love sick Pine Tree back, and he hadn't been worried about it before but now…
He just couldn't shake that feeling he had when they were fused, the feeling that he, and Dipper weren't alone. He had no idea what it was, but he knew it wasn't Light, he and Dipper make up the same presence so it couldn't have been him. 'Then who?' Bill thought. 'Who was there?!'
"FOR YOU MASTER!" Yuko presented her bag of souls to Dipper.
'See I told you she'd come in handy.' Light mused forgetting his frustrations for the moment.
Dipper smiled reaching into the bag and taking out a soul, and devours it!
Only to throw it back up seconds later! "Yuko! This soul is rotten!" Dipper yelled.
Bill gives him another weird look. 'Souls don't rot!' he realized. Besides he saw the underling pick them fresh moments ago.
"Looks fine to me." Magenta said, giving it a little taste. "Tasted fine too."
"Well it taste awful to me! Get me another one!" Dipper snapped.
Yuko hands another soul to her master fearfully.
Bill watches him closely.
Dipper samples the soul and spits what little he put in his mouth back on the ground. "This is awful, all these souls are awful!"
"I'M SORRY MASTER PLEASE PUNISH ME I DESERVE TO BE PUNISHED!" Yuko cried.
"Here let me try." Bill reached for a soul.
"Get your own souls!" Dipper screamed snatching the bag away.
Bill is more than stunned. "But all your doing is spitting them back out." He argued.
"So! Yuko picked them for me not you!" Dipper hissed forcing more souls down his throat.
Light waits for the sickening taste to return, but suddenly the souls taste fine again. 'Okay now I know something is going on!'
Bill watches as Dipper goes back to setting things on fire, he continues to munch on some souls as he works.
"Okay what did you do to King?!" Light snapped appearing in the reflection of the window behind him. "I didn't do anything!" Bill said defensively. "You saw all I did was reach for a soul."
"Oh no you did something, you're always guilty of something." Light yelled. "No fess up!"
Suddenly Dipper rushes back over, and he's carrying a bag of…
"Dorito's Pine Tree seriously?" Bill shook his head. "I thought you stopped eating human food."
Dipper smiled. "I just wanted to see if they still tasted good, and boy do they ever!" Dipper continues to wolf the chips down. "Hey Bill look if I use my imagination I can pretend I'm eating miniature yous" Dipper takes a Dorito and uses his best impression of Bill's voice. "Help me I'm being eaten, wow this is not how I wanted to spend my day!"
Yuko and Magenta burst into laughter at Dipper's open display of teasing.
"My voice does not sound like that!" Bill yelled turning dangerously red.
"Oh come on Bill I'm only teasing." Dipper said giving him a kiss. "Lighten up will you!"
Bill just blinks, completely dumbfounded.
"So just like that he's not angry at you anymore?" Light was confused. He was getting mixed signals from King. Usually he'd be angry for a while, and Bill would have to work for his forgiveness. But this was different. It was almost like it wasn't Dipper who was angry at all. No it was more like something else was angry, and Dipper was just a puppet for whatever it was to express its anger through.
It was weird and Light didn't like it,
He didn't like it at all.
"Light be honest with me." Bill said suddenly.
"Mmm" Light asked.
"How are you feeling?" Bill asked.
"What do you mean?" the green pine tree demon asked.
"Well you and Dipper feel the same things so-"
"I knew it!" Light exclaimed. "You do have something to do with it!"
"No it's just a theory!" Bill snapped. "I have a theory!" and it was true he did have a theory, but he wanted to be sure.
"Then please share your theory!" Light said; in a non-convincing tone.
"I don't want to freak you out if it's a false alarm." Bill told him.
"Fine you want to know what I feel! Fine!" Light Snapped. "I'm so confused! It's like I don't even know him anymore! Like I don't know me anymore! And I just know you did it!"
"Okay anything else?" Bill asked.
"No-wait Yes!" Light said.
"What?" Bill asked.
"I have a sudden urge to eat…octopus?"
Bill turned just in time to see Dipper slurping up an octopus.
"Awe it's so gross!" Light cried. "Yet strangely satisfying." He realized.
Bill gave Dipper another weird look.
"Bill?" Dipper asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Are you okay?" Bill suddenly asked him.
"Why I've never felt better!" Dipper exclaimed happily. "Now let's go we got a world to conquer!" Bill watched as Dipper took command.
"All right you free loaders some of you stay here and round up the rest! Everyone else come with me, we have more ground to cover NOW MOVE!"
The demons cheered following their Queen into the unknown, screaming their battle cry!
"Wow boss looks like the new Queen has really embraced the role." Teeth said.
"Yeah…" Bill said looking more confused than ever.
"Something wrong?" Teeth asked.
"No…Well actually Teeth I have a little assignment for you." Bill said changing his mind.
"Okay shoot Boss!" Teeth said eagerly.
"Go to the library of knowledge and find me everything on Bonded Demons." Bill ordered. "I need to find out as much as I can about mine and Pine Tree's new limits." 'And find out what's up with Pine Tree while I'm at it.' He said to himself.
"You mean if there is any." Teeth said. "Limits I mean."
"Yes now go!" Bill ordered.
"Yes Boss!"
Bill watched him go, of course he had his suspicious about what could be happening. But he wanted to be sure, he also wanted to know how to handle the situation!
After all if it was what he thought it was then it was a very delicate situation indeed!
"Now as for the rest of you, if you want to live you will do as you're told!" He said addressing the humans.
The humans nodded feverishly.
"You will receive a mark from a demon, it is the royal seal of the Cipher's." Bill continued. "This seal tells the world that you are a loyal subject of the Gods; it will protect you! Once you have it you will go home, lock you doors; and answer the door for no one!"
"And if we do?" A little girl dared to ask.
"Then you are dead!" Bill screamed. "Anymore stupid questions!"
"What if you don't take the Mark?" an older man asked.
If you are found without this mark…" Bill paused for dramatic effect. "Then your fate will be far worse than the worse death imaginable…"
Keyhole grabbed a human's arm and burned them with a brand.
The man screamed, and when Keyhole let go Bill scoped him up. "Behold the royal crest!" It was simply Dipper's and Bill's fused image in the form of a brand.
"If you are caught without this mark, or associating with anyone without this mark then you are dead!"
The humans quickly lined up to get their marks, some even pushing to get them first.
Bill smiled as he watched them struggle to become his subjects, and he had to admit. Light was right it was great having people worship him…
