Splitting from the show in the 7th episode, Penelope calls off the wedding after Colin's "entrapment" comment.

So I'm rewriting it, and filling in the many gaps and plot-holes that left us questioning

Colin has returned home from his travels after not having heard from Penelope, he missed her but has she missed him? He has dreamed about her for weeks, his feelings now clear. Will she return his feelings or reject him. POLIN STORY. RATED T FOR LATER CHAPTERS.

The summer following the death of Archibald Featherington is a change for the Featherington family. Penelope visits the Aubrey Hall, as she has done each summer only this year, Colin is not going to be there or so Penelope thinks. An unexpected visitor shows up at her home to take her to Aubrey Hall. Will this summer be more different that she could have ever imagined?

This story takes place after Penelope's "Stand by me, Hold me, kiss me speech" A small gesture right after this speech leads fans to believe that she is telling Colin she is pregnant. I am on of those people. This is what happens in my minds directly after.
