The recent news about the visibility of falling stars caused by the perseiden meteor shower also known as the tears of Laurentius led me to write the following four 100-word drabbles, in which the main characters each make a wish under the night sky.
I do not own any of the characters. I do like to receive reviews.
Felipe
Felipe tidied the stable, preparing for Toronado's return. He grabbed a bucket, walked outside to fill it with water. A faint streak of light in the dark sky caught his attention—falling stars. Diego had explained some astronomers believed they were pieces of stone. But Felipe preferred the idea of a miracle, where seeing one meant making a wish. *Help Zorro bring his quest to a successful end,* he wished. Bring Diego and Victoria together. Only a fool will think they aren't meant to be. He didn't need to wish to be able to speak. He knew he could do that.
