Summary: Yuigahama Yui wonders if Hikigaya Hachiman and Miura Yumiko would ever get along. They do.

"Get away from me, creep!" The fire queen of Sobu, Miura Yumiko shouted as she shoved the fish eyed teen, Hikigaya Hachiman out of the way. The blonde was visibly angry at the teen and is not afraid to show it.

"What did I even do to you woman? I am minding my business here." Hachiman responds. He was a bit angry that the blonde girl decided to push him around for seemingly no reason. He wasn't even blocking her way. "I'm literally standing near the wall, what the hell is your problem?" He questions the fiery maiden, who just rolled her eyes and didn't answer, opting to go and walk out the door.

"Hikki!" The pink haired Yuigahama Yui exclaims as she approached the fish eyed teen. "Are you okay? I'm sorry about Yumiko, she was having a bad day!"

"Don't apologize for the actions of others, Yuigahama. It wasn't your fault, it was hers." The dead eyed teen says as he lifts her bowed head up. "Besides, she's like that towards me every day, it's kind of the norm for her." Hachiman explains as he laughs awkwardly. "Let's go to the Service Club." He offered, to which the pink haired girl accepted. A short walk and minutes later, the two of them were in front of the Service Club room.

Opening the door, Yui greeted the lone occupant with a bubbly greeting. "Yahallo Yukinon!" It caused Yukino to stiffen and look toward the door.

"Good afternoon, Yuigahama-san, Hikigaya-kun." The raven-haired girl, returns the smile the pinkette gave her.

"Yo." Hachiman greets as he enters the room.

"Still lazy with the greeting as always, Hiki-lazy-kun." Though her words sounded insulting, the playfulness of the girl's voice made sure it was anything but that. Yukino was smiling at the teen when she spoke.

As the time went on, Hachiman couldn't help but smile as he watched his club mates interact. The comfortable silence brought by this part of his daily routine was something he deeply treasured. As he continued to read the light novel, the fish eyed teen felt his phone vibrate. Placing the novel down to check his phone, Hachiman saw that he received a message.

"Rooftop."

The teen ignored it and went back to reading, until his phone vibrated once again.

"Now."

Sighing, the teen decided to go. The fish-eyed teen stood up, drawing looks from his club mates. "Hikki?" The pinkette questioned the teen. "What happened?"

"Hikigaya-kun?" The ravenette questioned the dead-eyed teen as well. "What are you doing?"

Hachiman then answers their question. "I'm just going to grab a drink." He reasoned as he went towards the exit, leaving the girls to themselves. Yukino then sees the face of the pinkette beside her turn into a frown. "Yuigahama-san? Is something bothering you?" The club president asked with concern. "Does it have to do with Hikigaya-kun?" Seeing her frown, the ravenette asked a question once more. "Did Hikigaya-kun do something? Just tell me if he did and I'll tell it to Hiratsuka-sensei."

Yui waved her arms frantically and quickly refuted her words. "No no no, Hikki didn't do anything! That's also the problem." The bubbly pinkette frowned once more. "I just wonder if Hikki and Yumiko would ever get along, you know?" Yui then had a faraway look on her face as she speaks once more. "I feel that they wouldn't get along, but I want them to!"

"Did something happen earlier between the two of them?" Yukino questions the pinkette.

"Before Hikki and I went to the club room, Yumiko was mad at him for no reason!" Yui explains. "He told Hikki to move out of the way, but Hikki's not even in blocking the way. He was on the side, as he waited for me."

"It seems to me that Miura-san cannot stand Hikigaya-kun." The ravenette remarked.

"I just wish that the day would come where they could get along. Hikki's not a bad person, and I'm sure once Yumiko gets to know him, she will want to be his friend as well!" The pinkette smiles as she looks at Yukino. "But enough about them, I wanna know what happened to you earlier Yukinon!"

The raven haired girl swears she would get a headache.

Hachiman, who took a short detour to the vending machine, finally reached the final set of stairs towards the rooftop. Opening the door, the dead-eyed teen was smothered by someone. The fish eyed teen then glances at the perpetrator, and finds a mop of blonde hair at his left side. "Miura." The young man said as the girl he mentioned looked at him.

"Hikio." Yumiko Miura looks at the fish eyed teen intensely.

Then she tiptoes and meets his lips with hers. Their intense liplock session lasted for almost fifteen seconds before the need for air arose, separating the two.

The blonde young woman pouts at the man she's currently embracing. "You called me that again." She says as Hachiman laughs at her plight. "We're alone, so just call me like usual."

"Yumi." Hearing the man call her nickname sent warmth to the young woman's heart, making her feel giddy. She smiled at the teen as she gave him a chaste kiss. "That's better. Come, let's sit over there."

The couple sat down at the nearby bench, where the blonde left her bag. "Have you eaten anything nutritious for today?" The blonde inquired. "Or did you just buy a curry bread once again?" The fish-eyed teen just avoided her inquisitive look as she pouted at his antics. "I told you that you need to eat something nutritious or your body won't develop!"

"I think my stamina speaks in my defense." The teen remarks, which makes the blonde's cheeks redden. "Besides, I eat plenty of healthy food at home, and I've stopped eating chips." He tried to ease up her worries.

"Why won't you just let me cook you lunch? It won't bother me since I already cook for myself." Yumiko says with pleading eyes.

"How would I get it then? We can't meet halfway since you live on the other side of Chiba. The only time we'd meet would be at school. You know what would happen if people saw us, that would tarnish your reputation." The dead-eyed teen shut down her idea.

"But I don't care about any of that!" The blonde girl shouts in frustration. This makes the fish-eyed teen look at her in surprise. "Why can't I do something that my boyfriend wants, even if it hurts my reputation?! You know that I don't care about any of that right? I love you more than my reputation." Yumiko said with such intensity that the teen couldn't help but smile at her.

"I'm sorry for being the most hated man in Sobu, Yumi." Hachiman said as his right hand cups the blonde's face.

"I'm tired of acting like I hate you, ya know!" The girl said as she hugs him once more. "Like earlier, I didn't want to yell at you like that. I want to shower you with my affection in public, I don't want to yell and curse at you in front of our classmates." Tears form at the sides of the young woman's face.

The dead-eyed teen kisses her forehead, as he tried to comfort the woman. "I'll try and find a way to increase my reputation points." The young woman smiled at his choice of words.

"You'll have to change how they perceive you." Yumiko states as the warmth from the man's kiss lingered. "That means you'll have to change your look as well."

"What's wrong with my look?" The young man asked. "I look good right? You wouldn't love me if I didn't" The man quipped, which made the blonde giggle.

"True, but if you stopped slouching and removed that grumpy look that you always have, I think people would find you more approachable." Yumiko then uses her hands to forcefully to make her man smile. "If you smiled more, then I'll have to make sure to let everyone know that you're mine. I think girls would take their chance to steal you away from me, especially Yukinoshita and Yui."

Hachiman sighed as he knew where the conversation would end up. "You know that Yuigahama is just being nice. You don't need to be jealous with her."

"How could I not be?!" The fiery blonde exclaims. "She gets the opportunity to cling onto you and she takes it every chance she gets! It's unfair!" The fish-eyed teen couldn't help but laugh at her jealous antics. "Don't laugh! It's really unfair you know?! Besides, you know that she has feelings for you right?"

"Even I'm not that dense." The teen responds. "But you know how I see them right?"

"My Eight-kun is so manly that many girls just flock to him." Yumiko says as she pinches the man's cheeks, eliciting a strained grunt from the man. "You have your girls at the Service Club, then Kawasaki from our class, even Hina gives you strange looks after the stunt you pulled at the bamboo forest."

"To be honest, Ebina probably looks at me as she formulates whatever fujoshi fantasy she has at the moment." The man interjected as he corrects his girlfriend."

"Still!" The blonde stands her ground as she continues listing off women that surrounded the dead-eyed teen. "Then you have Sagami, then Iroha, even Hiratsuka-sensei gives you strange looks you know?! That's just those who are in school. Shiromeguri-senpai acts chummy with you whenever she meets you, and even Yukinoshita's sister does it! Did you save a boatload of children in your previous life?"

"I'd like to think that I saved the emperor in my past life." Hachiman quipped. "There's also Yuigahama's mother, as well as Yukinoshita's mom."

The look of disbelief in Yumiko's face was priceless for the teen. "Really!? Even their moms?!"

"I'm just kidding." The fish-eyed teen quickly responds. "Yukinoshita's mother loves to discuss psychoanalytic theory whenever we meet, usually when her eldest drags me in the social gatherings that they frequently attend." Hachiman explained. "Yuigahama's mom just wants me to visit their place as she says that she "enjoys" my presence."

"I still don't like it." The blonde pouted for the nth time. "I hate that they can show their affections for you, and I can't."

The dead-eyed teen then gives the troubled girl a pat in the head, making which she smiled at. "There there, don't be jealous at them. You know how I show my affection right? You're the only one who gets it rough, which I think you like."

A quick jab to the rib stopped the upcoming laughter that the man would have.

"I'm just joking." The teen clutched his side.

"Well learn to make it appropriate!"

"You don't want an inside joke?" The dead eyed teen questioned. "You'd rather have me inside, I see." Swiftly standing up to avoid getting smacked, Hachiman cackled at his words.

"Get back here!" The red-faced Yumiko shouted as the teen ran away from her. "You better get back here, or I'll tell Komachi-chan where your stash is!" The blonde smirked as her boyfriend quickly went back.

"You wouldn't!"

"I will!" The blonde glared at the teen, freezing him in place.

"Fine." The resigned sigh from the dead-eyed teen was all she needed to hear as she felt victorious. Her joy was short lived, as her phone started to ring.

Time's up.

"Guess that's my cue." Hachiman remarked as he stood up.

Yumiko doesn't want him to leave though. She quickly stood up as well and wrapped the man in a tight hug. "Can't you stay?"

"Yukinoshita would have my head if I don't come back. I've been gone for quite some time now." The dead-eyed teen responded.

"I don't want you to go." The girl pleads, looking at the fish-eyed teen with a puppy-eyed face that she knew he couldn't resist.

"Then I'll just go to your house once I'm done with the club. You don't have any outings with your friends, right?" The blonde girl wanted to find copper and struck gold.

He would come to their house, which means she could coerce him to spend the night.

"Promise?"

"I promise." Hachiman knew that she was planning to do something, but just let her be. "Then I'll go now. I'll see you later then."

Yumiko gave him a sloppy kiss before leaving.

"Hikki!" The bubbly pinkette exclaimed at the teen. "I thought you're just going to grab a drink. What took you so long?"

"Hikigaya-kun, it's been 30 minutes since you left. I think that you might have an explanation for your absence." Yukino inquired, though it felt like she was not going to let the fish-eyed teen not answer.

"Uh… Zaimokuza was in the vending machine. He then took me in the gaming club and asked me about the novel he was writing, which was just tiresome. You know how his works go right?"

Being reminded of the silver haired man's literary work, the two shuddered.

"Did you have fun?" Yui questioned. "I'm sure they made you play some games!"

Reminiscing his time with his beloved girlfriend, Hachiman's lips quivered upwards. "Yeah… I did."

A/N: This fic was conceived as I read Enokido's doujin, the Beauty and the Beast, which borrows certain elements like the texting and such. This was a fun writing experience, I might write more, though it would be focusing on Hachiman's relationship with other girls.

Let me know if you enjoyed it! Write a review if you have something to say, and as always, thanks for reading!
