A couple of months after the attack on the school, Alex was hanging out with Robyn and Nicole at her house.

"I'm surprised you agreed to this sleepover," said Robyn while walking into Alex's room with a large bowl of popcorn before sitting down next to her and Nicole as a movie started to play on the TV.

"And why is that so surprising?" asked Alex.

"You have been so busy with the whole Max Girl thing," said Nicole.

"We did not know if you would be able to hang out tonight or not," she said as she took some popcorn.

"Sorry, I'm trying to balance my life more but I guess I've failed to do so somewhat," said Alex.

"No one said being a hero was easy," said Robyn.

"Not even the comics," said Nicole, which got a laugh out of all three of them.

"I'll try to be a better friend and lay off the hero stuff a little more but I don't promise that I won't have to leave at some point when we are hanging out," said Alex.

"All we ask is that you try and hang out with us outside of school a little more," said Robyn. Meanwhile, in a lab somewhere in the city.

"How is the project coming?" asked Lizzie's father as he entered the lab.

"Mr. Ravencloff," said the head scientist as he walked over.

"I would like to introduce you to the three advanced human weapons for your next attack on Max Girl," he said while motioning to two men and a woman who was standing nearby.

"They all look to be far stronger than Shotgun was," said Mr. Ravencloff.

"Shotgun had nothing on us," said one of the men as his right hand burst into flames.

"The three of us are far more than humans and tech," said the woman who had long blonde hair and had a dark skin tone. She was controlling the wind to create a small vortex before her.

"To beat a freak you have to become one," said another man who was just sitting in a chair chewing gum.
