"Herbie you okay, why're you carryin that huge laundry basket with overflowing laundry." Herbert heard Rocket asking seeing his dad carrying a massive laundry basket.
It was night time on Wondergore and RJ was busy doing Groot knows what but Rocket saw Herbert struggling with that laundry basket making up his mind to help him stunning Herbert as he saw his crown-prince sitting on the floor with the laundry basket folding laundry which made Chance curious ashe walked in asking Rocket what he was doing on the floor folding laundry. "It's called helping bud. Herbie was struggling with this laundry basket and I felt like helping him." he explained to him.
Chance was then sitting on the floor beside him folding socks making Rocket smile knowing they were helping Herbert plus listening to music while doing this taking on Mount Laundry as Rocket had named it but making progress enjoying that Chance was helping him but RJ was perplexed as to why his dad and Chance were folding laubdry asking why.
"We're helping Herbie as he needs it, he was overwhelmed like Poppa Rockie said." Chance told him.
"That's right buddy. Herbie is so overwhelmed being king of Wondergore, he doesn't have time for this stuff so we have to help him." Rocket told him seeing Herbert smile checking on them hugging them seeing they were done bringing them milk and cookies seeing Chance smirk drinking milk seeing Rocket nodding as he wanted to bond with him since RJ was his dad, Chance was his grandkit so washangingout out with him. This made RJ and Eric impressed asking Rocket if he didn't mind watching Chance some more while they were having some fun. "Sure buddy as we can have fun. You two be careful out there." Rocket told RJ seeing him hug him.
Chance grinned seeing his dads leaving as he was enjoying being with his Poppa Rockie sone more plus realised itvwas Temple night and he was deciding to take him with him to Temple since he was part of their family so was Jewish making Herbert smile. "That's sweet of you, go have fun." he told Rocket seeing them leave.
"Did you have fun buddy, at Temle buddy." Chance heard Rocket asking. It was almost subrise on Wondergore and Rocket was tucking the badger cub into bed as he knew RJ and Eric were home and getting ready for bed after eating. "Yeah Poppa Rockie and wanna go again, if that's okay." Chance said yawning making Rocket smile tucking him in so no sunlight couldn't burn him but turned the sun lamo on knowing like RJ, it helped him sleep being a vampure cub leaving the room heading to the kitchen to make himself coffee seeing Herbert there ready for the day asking if Chance was okay.
"Yep, he just fell asleep and guess RJ and Eric fell asleep. You're a good geandpoppa Rocket. You and Chance are adorable together." Herbert told him as they were sitting at the table having coffee and having breakfast. After a while Rocket was heading to take an nap after being up all night with Chance which Herbert found sweet letting him be knowing he got cranky when woken up early like RJ and knew he'd had fun with Chance earlier seeing him nod.
"Yep, as the cub needs somebody around to teach him things. He's adorable just like RJ." he told him.
Later after waking up, Chance hugged Rocket's leg making RJ chuckle because it was sweet, and knew they'd be starting school soon but noticed that Chance was quiet about it seeing Eric and RJ go play seeing Chance go with them making Rocket sense the lil guy wanted to tell hin something so would ask him later when they had alone time making Herbert get it and knew he could help Chance with whatever was bothering him.
"He's startibg at Xavier's soon and doesn't know anybody plus he hasn't told RJ andEric yet. You should talk to him." Herbert told Rocket making him nodding as he could help the cub with his anxiety.
