He watched from a safe distance as the Avater gave out a powerful dragon roar that definitely scared some wild animals away, The roar was a testimony of power but if handle with little control could harm the user more than anything else.
He watched as she scolded him.
The Avatar looked down.
She placed a arm on his stomach...'Wait when did they get that close'... rubbing it and said something from the corner of his ears.
He wasn't close enough to hear it but the blush on the Avater's face could mean very few things that he doesn't want to hear or know.
He didn't know what they were doing but right now he just wanted to rest... even for a few minutes.
But he know he shouldn't and has to watch both of them Incase she tries to kill him.
Zuko looked around and spotted Toph around the corner, seems like he wasn't the only one on guard. Today.
Zuko looked up to the sky and huffed.
She had followed him, beat him up and order him to follow the Avater, just the two of them, he didn't trust her and still doesn't but he couldn't throw her off his war balloon even if he wanted to.
That irritated him, even without bending she could still best him, and her annoying taunting smirk didn't help his mood.
No lipsticks, even better.
She clearly didn't carry anything with her.
Except her armor.
They spent days following the Avatar 'Aang' and his friends, days of her constantly mocking him with nothing but her eyes and smile.
He really wanted to throw her off the balloon.
Getting the Avatar and friends to accept him was hard, getting them to accept her was... what was the word...'Problematical'... somewhat easy, all she had to good was kill the mercenary 'HE' sent, place the blames on him and everyone else 'Family' and smile 'without her lipstick on' at the Avatar.
Why did that seem to annoy him? He would ask Sokka later.
And the kid was red-faced from just a smile.
A freaking smile.
Why was everything so easy for her.
But he was glad that Katara was hateful at her as she was at him.
It's been a few days since they joined the team but she was already friends with Toph and Aang 'I thought he was into Katara' but in a way he was happy for his sister and glad she was here with him.
Toph said something to Aang and Azula, he didn't know what it was, the red-faced Avatar was something he wasn't surprised for but the slight pink on his sister's face wasn't something normal.
He would ask Toph what she said later.
Now he just wanted to rest.
Being a brother wasn't easy.

The is my first one-shot story, hopefully not my last one, this story just popped into my head, I didn't want it to disappear to I decided to write it down without knowing where it was going.
it feels like a mystery to me actually, these are my first time writing fanfictions, am into family and love drama if nothing else and the whole point of these stories is simply to get ideas out of my head and test my writing skills.
Thank you for reading this
