Chapter 7: Taking Tour in the City Part 1

A few hours ago

Wendy had the girl placed in the extra bed although it didn't have sheets or covers. However, she used another blanket in the wardrobe to keep her warm. Wendy was looking from her side pondering about something. "Her scene doesn't smell that of a human. Why does she remind me of a story that Grandeeney told when I was trained with her." Carla was asleep on the bottom of her bed.

Present

The next morning

9:30 am

At St. George's Cathedral

Saiji and a few of the members were gathered inside the cathedral. "This can't be real, Touma's helicopter has crashed."

Ushibuka had his arms crossed. "Yes, but, how can a helicopter crash just like that?"

Kouyagi felt the same way. "Yeah, what is the helicopter old or something?"

"Doesn't matter, Touma was inside that thing and now we hear it's crashed into the ocean." Saiji groaned looking troubled. "Itsuwa has heard about it and she hasn't come out of her room."

Isahaya adjusted his glasses. "Yes, a lovely girl like Itsuwa shouldn't be so down, but, crashing in the ocean is so dangerous that the chances of him surviving..."

"Don't say it!" Tsushima interrupted. "Old man, don't say it!"

Just then a teenage girl arrived in the room. She had hair tied in a ponytail and had a small smiley face as a decorative ornament. She had a phone on top of her head. She wore a purple shirt, a red sports skirt, and white thigh-high socks. "Everyone, I just got a call from Heaven's Canceller, he told us that Touma and the pilot are safe."

Everyone was most relieved to hear that information.

"Where is Itsuwa?" Uragami asked.

"She's in her room," Saiji answered.

To his and everyone else's confusion, Uragami shook her head. "No, she wasn't in her room, she left earlier to get a chance on a plane to Academy City." The Awakusa Church members were left speechless for a second until Saiji broke the silence. "Let's make sure she reunites with Touma, it'll be the perfect time for her to have a heartwarming reunion with him."

Touma was in one of the hospital rooms and he woke up as he felt a hand touch his cheek. "Uhh..." He softly groaned and sat up placing his hand on his head. "Ow..." He felt like everything that just happened the previous night was a dream. Images of the pirates flashed into his mind and Vanessa's true form came back to his mind. "Damn...what was that...even real?"

"What do you mean son?" There were Touma's parents.

Kamijou Touya

Age: Mid-30s

Occupation: Traveling businessman

"Touma, you had us worried, we heard that you were taken here by a helicopter and it crashed into the ocean." Touma let out a small gasp as he looked at his mother.

Kamijou Shiina

Age: Mid 30s

"Yeah, as for the pilot, if you're wondering, his family was notified too. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear that the guy is gonna make a full recovery." Touya added with a big smile.

Touma was relieved to hear that. His thoughts went back to the Fish Tiger Pirates. "That's right, that Jasmine lady was a doctor, she must've treated us when the pilot and I were unconscious. Wait, does that mean she's also a Fish Lady?" He pondered in thought.

Just then the frog face doctor walked in. "I see that you're awake now." He was holding a clipboard with a sheet of paper. "I'll discharge you today. So, you can return home anytime." Touma smiled at the elderly doctor. "Thank you, sir." The old doctor smiled and then reached into his pocket holding three letters. "I almost forgot, I was asked to give these letters from three young girls."

Touma was puzzled at first when he took the letter but what he saw on the front of them was three hearts though only two had kiss marks on them. Touya noticed them and smirked. "Well, looks like our son has three secret admirers."

Shiina giggled. "My, my, our son has grown to be a man."

"Shut up!" Touma retorted with his face beet red.

"Touma!" The boy flinched when he heard a familiar voice and saw a small female nun looking angry as he quickly hid the letters behind his pillow. "I heard the helicopter that you were in crashed and I found out that you're here without giving me a call."

Touma chuckled nervously. "Oh, I was out cold for several hours, and I..."

Chop!

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Touma yelped in pain as the nun was biting on his head. "Damn, rotten luck!" Touya and Shiina just smiled at the little reunion. "Well, anyway, son, we'll be on our way."

"Yes, take care of yourself, son."

Touma regained his composure and waved at them with a smile. "Yeah, sure." Index calmed down and sat down behind the boy. "Either way, I'm glad that you're alright." Touma smiled with a soft chuckle. "Yeah, and, I'm sorry about lying to you." Index giggled. "It's fine, it's all water under the bridge now."

Just then Kanzaki, Stiyl, and Tsuchimikado entered the room.

"Well, I'll be damned. The moment I thought you'd kick the bucket, you're here. Though, I figured you would escape death." The blonde Esper magician Hybrid joked.

Touma narrowed his eyes at his classmate's perverted friend joke which the guy noticed. "Hey, no need for that look, you escaped death and here you are alive."

"Yeah, Index found about it the moment we landed and was getting all pouty about wanting to see you," Stiyl grumbled.

Kanzaki sighed. "I admit you had me...uhh...us worried." She looked away hiding her blush. "Anyway, we need to talk about something."

B

At Touma's apartment.

Gray woke up rubbing his head. "Wow, what a nap." He sat up only to hear a familiar snore. "Geez, is Pyro going to sleep for the entire morning?" He stood up from his bed. "Well, might as well wash my face and brush my teeth while I have some quiet time. No doubt, the others will wake up soon."

Elfman and Mirajane were already up and dressed, they went to the room where Aquapad and Lisanna were staying. They explained what they learned on the news channel. "Wait, did this family description of the pirate ship?"

"Yes, the ship was described as a tiger shark with wooden shark-like teeth and had a jolly roger with black hair." Aquapad was relieved to hear this. "They got to be alive...they have to be." Tears fell on his cheeks. "Jimbei...Fisher Lily and her crew are still alive..." Mirajane and Elfman smiled happily at the Marlin Fishman. Lisanna patted her Fishman boyfriend in comfort. "Is there anything else?"

Mirajane shook her head. "No, but, we can probably assume that they're on their way to Academy City, in theory."

"Theory or not, at least we know they're safe," Aquapad wiped his tears with his arm. "So, we have to find a way to contact them."

Cana was putting on her usual outfit, though, she was wearing a jacket. "I could use a drink. Too bad, this place doesn't have any in the fridge." Juvia was rearing to go. "I can hardly wait to take a tour around the city, especially with my darling Gray!"

"I should've expected that," Cana said with a sweatdrop.

Lucy was wearing her new outfit(the one she's wearing in the 100-Year Quest Anime). "What a good sleep I got." She stretched out her arms. Erza was busy combing her hair. "Yes, it's been quiet for now, until Gray and Natsu start a brawl." Lucy couldn't disagree with that. She then began to think about Wendy. "I hope Wendy and Carla are doing okay."

Erza chuckled a bit. "They'll be fine, we'll contact them once Anna has the meeting ready for our assignment today."

Rufus was getting into his usual outfit. "That was a good night's sleep." He looked out the balcony. "Quite the view especially in the morning."

Anna got the commuication lacrima out. "The lacrima is ready. The others will be here any minute and after that, I'll contact Lahara and the others." Yukino nodded and was just done getting dressed.

At the Tokiwadai Middle School

Wendy woke up and got dressed in her outfit. She was checking on the teenage girl. "She hasn't awoken yet." Carla had her arms crossed. "What I want to know is why was someone like her doing outside the school's gate entrance."

Knock Knock

"Wendy Marvel. It's the Head supervisor, we need to talk at once."

"Uh...why, is there something wrong?" Wendy asked nervously.

"The gate security cameras caught you bringing an unwanted teenage girl into the school." Wendy flinched realizing she had found out. "Security cameras...what is that?" She quickly shook the thought off and stood up. "Listen, I'm sorry I didn't notify you sooner head supervisor. She looked like she went through a rough time. So I had to help her."

There was silence on the other side. "Let me come in and look at her." There was a softness in the head supervisor's tone so Wendy obliged and let the strict woman in.

"I see, she looks pretty banged up, and judging from her appearance, she's probably over 15 years old." The head supervisor adjusted her glasses. "Unfortunately, she should be attending high school, so she won't be able to stay in this district." Wendy felt worried about that. "However...I know someone that can help." The older woman said with a smile. "I'll make a call and be back in 15 minutes." With that she left the room, Wendy was relieved to hear the girl would get some help.

Just then the communication lacrima glowed. "Wendy, are you there?" Anna's voice was heard. Wendy locked the door and placed the lacrima on the bed while holding it. Carla was sitting behind the girl. "Yeah, how are you doing this morning?"

"Pretty good, how are things over there on your end?" Anna asked.

"So far so good, but, I found this girl." Wendy picked the lacrima and showed the unconscious girl. "I found her outside Tokiwadai Middle School gate entrance."

"Who is she?" Gray asked.

"Not sure, but, I sense magic power from her, I don't know why, but her magic reminds me of story that Grandeeney told me when she was training me," Wendy replied. "I can't put my finger on it though."

Carla decided to share another detail. "Not only that, but she was muttered in her sleep a few times last night. Her words were "Touma...Touma" If I have to guess, she was talking about a boy."

"What is going to happen to the girl now?" Elfman asked.

"The head supervisor of the Tokiwadai Middle School is going to make a call and help her settle down somewhere," Wendy replied.

"We got some intel to share too, according to yesterday's news, there was a sighting of a pirate ship that describes Fisher Lily's flagship," Aquapad said. "The only thing that we don't know is where they are now."

Lucy had her thoughts. "As for Brandish and Dimaria, we haven't gotten anything about them yet." Erza could see that the blonde was worried about Brandish the most. "Well, we're taking a tour and looking for whatever we can find. However, Ms. Komeo will be here in a few hours to drop off our school student outfits."

"Yes, I'll stay behind to contact Lahara and the others. As for you guys, we'll split into two teams. Team A will have Natsu, Happy, Gray, Elfman, Cana, Lucy, Juvia, and Erza." Juvia was so excited that she hugged her crush's arm. "Did you hear that my love, we're finally on the same team...but, Lucy is here..."

"I told you I don't want Gray!" Lucy retorted.

"Anyway..." Anna continued. "Team B will have, Mirajane, Aquapad, Lisanna, Rufus, and Yukino."

"I suggest both teams take extreme stealth modes, in other words, don't use your magic carelessly, we don't want to draw unwanted attention."

Touma and Index arrived at home at the bottom area. "Looks like we finally arrived at home."

Maika was seen riding the cleaning robot. "Touma, Index, welcome home you two." Touma waved at the maid. "Maika, how are you doing?"

Maika giggled. "Doing fine, by the way, you have new neighbors, they seem like nice people. Not only that, they'll be joining your class next Monday." Touma was a bit surprised. "New neighbors, this should be a breeze."

"Need to remind you that Ms. Komoe will drop by to give us our outfits. So, if you see her, tell her I said thanks." Maika added as she left. "Wait, I have to talk about you about something!"

Touma shrugged and went his way to the floor where he was living. "New neighbors, I hope they're not so loud." He began to think about the Fish Tiger Pirates he met out at sea. "How do they know me by my last name besides looking inside my wallet." He wanted answers so much, but, he didn't know where they were at the moment. "Also, what Tsuchimikado mentioned at the hospital concerns me."

F

Motoharu, Stiyl, and Kazanki were having a discussion with Touma and Index. "We discovered a crash at a site by the river. But, nothing was found but a burning ground like something hot landed there with incredible force." Styil explained. "We searched the area for anything else but nothing."

"Wait, do you think we're being invaded by enemies from the outside?" Touma asked.

Motoharu had his arms crossed leaning against the wall. "Not sure, but, one thing is clear, whoever landed had magic power, we detected multiple magic presences even though they were faint."

"Wait, there is more than just one?" Index questioned.

"We have to assume that's the case," Kanzaki answered. "I suggest you guys keep an eye out for anything suspicious, if you notice anything, contact us at once. Also, one more thing, Itsuwa will be her way to see you, so, expect a visit from her at your apartment." Touma didn't have a problem with that until he felt a disturbing aura coming from Index. "Touma...you have a look on your face."

Touma was already on the floor he needed to be. "Well, nothing is out of the ordinary here." He thought not paying attention to where he was going.

Natsu was running fast without thinking. "Alright, let's begin our tour and find some bad guys!" Touma wasn't able to move out of the way in time as he and the pinkette boy crashed each other causing them to fall backwards on their butts. "Hey, watch where you're going!"

"You ran into me while I was walking genius!" Touma retorted back.

"Geez, our first day in the city and you're causing a racket now," Gray said approaching behind his childhood friend.

"Who is the boy?" Juvia asked.

Touma stood up looking a bit mad still. "Excuse me, would you mind explaining who you guys are before asking me?"

Erza chuckled a bit. "Pardon my friend's manners, he has a knack for getting into trouble. To answer your question, we live here for now."

Touma realized who the people were the same ones that Maika mentioned. "I heard from Maika we had new neighbors. So, nice to meet you, my name is Touma Kamijou."

Lucy put her hand out. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Lucy Heartfilla." Touma offered his hand to shake until his foot stepped on a small liquid losing his balance he fell forward and his hand landed on Lucy's skirt and pulled them down revealing her panties.

There was an awkward silence as the others were flustered at what they were seeing. "Oh my goodness," Mirajane muttered.

Yukino felt flustered seeing such an embarrassing scene.

Lucy was speechless for a moment as her cheeks went red. Touma gave an awkward smile not moving his hand from the blonde's skirt. "Quit smiling at me like that you pervert!" Lucy comically beat the boy right on the head with her fist.

"This is a memory that shouldn't be forgotten," Rufus murmured tilting the front of his hat to block his view.

"Talk about a bad trip," Gray thought.

Cana giggled in a flirt matter. "That boy is kinda cute."

"Cana...behave," Mirajane said with her cheeks puffed.

"Touma..." Index just arrived at the scene and wasn't too happy with what she was seeing. "You making moves with another girl again?" Touma abruptly stood up despite sweating. "Oh no, I just fell that's all, it was an accident...I swear!"

Chomp

"Damn, rotten luck!"

Aquapad has never acted this way before. "This is unusual."

"Ahem..." Erza cleared her throat. "Pardon, but if you don't mind, can you show around the city?" Touma lifts his head. "You see, my friends and I are new here in the city, so, do you think you can give us a tour around the place?"

Touma sighed. He just got discharged from the hospital and now he's the new neighbor's tour guide. Though, he was curious about the new people he was meeting. "I have to do some shopping, so, I suppose I can give you a small tour." He turned to Index. "Listen Index, I have to go out and do some shopping, so, can you stay here with the Sphinx until then."

The nun looked at him for a moment making the teenage boy nervous until a big smile took shape on her face. "Okay, just don't forget the food."

Touma approached the new people. "Tell me, where do you want to go before I start shopping?" Erza didn't think of that, so she put her finger to her chin in thought. "Well, in that case, since both of us will explore in separate groups, can you show us the places that you're planning to go?" Touma sighed knew this was going to be a long day. "As for the others your friend..."

"My is Index Librorum Prohititorum." The nun introduced.

"Index...Libroumbingo..." Natsu pronounced incorrectly.

"Just call her Index. It's much easier," Touma intervened.

"Her name is unusual." Gray thought.

Natsu's scene caught something about Index. "Funny, her scene isn't human." He thought.

"Anyway, I'll take the other group which is..." Index was approached by Mirajane and her group. "I see."

A short time later.

Anna contacted using the portable communication lacrima to talk to Lahara and her group explaining the situation. "So, two people are giving Natsu and Mirajane's team a tour, am I right?" Lahara asked.

"Yes, I'm sure the two kids are reliable," Anna replied. "Either way, what is your idea for the day?"

Lahar had that already figured out. "Aiho is taking us to her office, showing their technology and machines they call computers. Primo and my magic will come in handy to check out their equipment. So, I'll be taking Primo, Gajeel, Levy, and Lily. Usagi will stay here to greet the two kids that Aiho is looking after."

Anna nodded. "Understood, if anything else comes up then we'll contact our portable communication lacrimas."

"Secondly, Mest will take Joan and Kovu to take investigate the city and with Mest's teleportation, his team be able to make it back to the apartment, rather inside it." Lahara continued.

"Good idea, I'll talk to you later." The communication lacrima stopped glowing and next to her was a guidebook. "Might as well check out the guidebook to the apartment."

Itsuwa arrived at the airport carrying a suitcase. "Touma..." She was worried about the boy she cared for so dearly. She was determined to make her move before any other girl like Kanzaki the priestess did. Little did she know that Saiji and some members of the Necessaries were secretly following her.

"Operation: Itsuwa and Touma's reunion is underway," Saiji whispered to the others, who all nodded.

In the city parking lot

The RV vehicle was parked. Fisher Lily and her crew were awake getting dressed then transformed into their human form.

"It's 10:30 am, it's almost lunchtime," Maggie said looking at the clock.

Growl

Sanosuke's stomach growled. "Damn, I'm hungry."

"Not surprising since you love to eat," Yuna teased.

"Alright, what shall we do today?" Irisbi asked.

Fisher Lily already had that figured out. "For now, we need two supplies. Arista, you will go into the city to buy supplies we need for our ship." The shipwright nodded.

"Maggie, you'll be in charge of shopping for food since our food supply is low." Maggie thought of this putting her fingers on her chin. "I think I might have a better solution, we'll need more money, we only got over 1000 left, if we use it on food or supplies, we'll eventually run out."

Vanessa had to agree. "Indeed, we'll need jobs only temporary, that, we can register the young crew members to go to school for a little a while until we find a way to get home. I'll take Yuna, Sanosuke, Nasagi, Holly, and Morgan with me. As Irisabi, you'll remain here with the captain to look after the RV." The hammerhead shark lady nodded her head.

"In that case," Nasagi took out a map placed on the table. "Here are the locations where Arista and Maggie can shop for food and supplies, I marked one spot on the map." Fisher Lily smiled. "Good job. So, we know what our tasks are, get to it, and if anything is wrong, report here right away."

On the streets

Kuroko was taking a walk down the street. "Geez, sissy hasn't gotten out of bed in almost a week." She rubbed her head. "If that troglodyte doesn't return, sissy will be as moppy as a sob sister!"

"Hey, Kuroko!" The pig-tailed girl saw Saten and Uiharu running at her. "Has Misaka gotten out of bed yet?" The other middle schooler shook her head. "Not at least once, she hasn't eaten much lately."

"Oh my, that's awful, I'm concerned about her health," Uiharu said worriedly.

Satan put her hand to her chin. "I suggest that we look up some news articles. Let's go."

Mest, Kovu, and Joan were taking the monorail.

"This is quite the train," Kovu said.

"Yeah, I've never seen a train like this before," Mest commented. "It's just as big as a train in our world."

Joan noticed the stares they were getting from other passengers.

"They're dressed oddly."

"Yeah, the man with the long dark brown hair looks like a jungle man."

"Mom, look a jungle man!" A child pointed at Kovu.

"Don't stare!" The boy's mother lectured.

Just then the bus came to a stop and then two thugs came in with rifles. "Hey, don't any of you move unless you want to end up dead!" The one who spoke was a man with tan skin and short spiky hair. The other was a short man with white hair, who looked less intimidating.

The passengers froze on the spot.

Mest gritted his teeth. "Damn it." Joan cursed despite her remained calm as the two thugs approached the monorail's door.

The other thug was young and looked a little timid. "Come on man, if we don't pull this off, we'll go to jail." The other guy sneered at his partner. "Stupid spineless ass, we won't go to jail if I can help it, I'll slaughter everyone on this bus if they try anything funny." He chuckled sinisterly as most of the passengers had fearful expressions.

The tan man noticed Joan and her kinky outfit. "Well, look here, a sexy chick here." He approached with a smirk on his face. "Tell you retards what, I'll spare you if this chick comes with us." The passengers didn't make any arguments."

"Good now-" Suddenly a hand grabbed the tip of his gun and crushed it. "You were saying, you bastard?" The hand was Kovu's, who looked pissed off.

"Alright, you die-" The man pulled his gun's trigger only no bullet came out. He looked at the gun of his rifle and the tip was crushed so badly that he'd realize.

"Brother, get-" The tan man saw Mest appear behind holding his head to the ground. "I think it'd be best for you not to do anything stupid, understand?" The younger thug nodded with a whimper and dropped the gun.

"I ain't going down while spilling someone's blood!" The tan man took out a knife and attempted to stab Kovu, surprisingly and shockingly, the jungle man caught the knife with his mouth. Kovu pulled it away and bit the blade apart. "Heh..." Kovu chuckled with a smirk. The tan man backed away in utter shock. "You're a monster!" Kovu headbutted the thug on his forehead knocking him unconscious.

The passengers were astonished at the scene that was just displayed before them.

"Mommy, they were so cool!" The boy beamed happily.

The passengers and the driver clapped at the rescue.

Kovu and Joan didn't say a thing. Mest was happy that the two thugs were upperhanded and now wasn't the time to cheer. "Does anyone have a phone to contact Anti-Skill?"

Natsu's group and their new friend Touma were strolling down the street waiting for a crossroad.

Lucy decided to make conversation. "Touma, how long have you lived in the city?" Touma rubbed his head. "Since I was a teenager or so. As for the school I go to is A Certain High School."

"Oh yes, we met your teacher Ms. Komoe," Erza informed getting the spiky boy's attention. "She helped us find a place at the apartment. Also, in two days, we'll be in your class."

Elfman pumped his arm. "If that's the case, we'll be in the manliness class of all together!"

"O-okay," Touma stuttered not knowing to response to that.

"Anyway, do you know where we can stop to eat?" Natsu asked holding his stomach.

Happy looked hungry too.

"Geez, we just ate 2 hours ago," Gray groaned.

"Hey, my stomach can't help it if it's hungry, ice jerk!" Natsu barked. "Did you call me an "ice jerk" dragon dweeb?!" Gray growled pressing his forehead against the dragon slayer.

Touma imagined the way Index and Misaka looked at each other the same way. "Damn, my luck."

"Do you boys mind?!" Erza roared causing the two to freeze on the spot.

"Whoa, she's scary," Touma thought with a sweat drop but he regained his composure. "To answer your question, I do know a fast-food restaurant nearby."

"Then what are we waiting for!" Natsu was practically drooling.

"Fast food, not healthy," Lisanna's sweat dropped.

"Either way, we can use a bit to eat," Juvia said.

Erza nodded. "Good thing, Ms. Komoe gave us some money." She said.

They went inside the fast food restaurant Macronall Hamburger and took a three tables.

One had Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and Gray

Second had Juvia and Erza

Third had Cana sitting next to Touma which was by a window.

Natsu was munching on hamburgers like an animal. "So good!" He chowed loudly. Nearby customers were practically gagging at the young man's table manners.

"Geez, does he have any manners?" Touma asked a little grossed out.

Cana chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll get used to him." Touma wasn't too surprised, Natsu's appetite was just as crazy as Index's.

Juvia was having a glass of cold water with fries and a hamburger. "Not bad, these meals are tasty."

Lucy had drinking sweet tea and a plain cheeseburger. "Not bad." She remembered what the Celestial goat-man told her about her eating properly.

Elfman was having fries with ketchup and chowed on it. "Tastes super manly." His loudness caused some customers to stare oddly.

Erza was a little disappointed. "Too bad they don't have strawberry cake." She muttered. "Should've expected to hear that," Lucy sweat dropped.

Happy had some raw chicken. "Not bad, but, raw fish would be nice." Lucy covered his mouth. "Keep it down, the people and Touma will hear you."

"The cold soft drinks aren't too bad," Gray drank a sip of HC orange.

Cana glanced at Touma, a sneaky smile on her face. "Touma..." The young teenager looked at her. "What is it?" Cana slowly started scooting over to the boy which he noticed. "Tell me, have you ever thought of dating a girl?" Touma was taken off guard by that sudden question. "Dating...no...I never did think of that..." Touma stuttered nervously as her breasts bounced slightly making his face red and scooted against the wall trapping him. "You know, if you have an idea, I can show you a good time," Cana spoke in a dirty yet sexy tone. Touma's face went beet red as his eyes averted to her chest showing a bit of her cleavage. Happy had a sly grin on his face seeing the scene and the others were just staring with gaping mouths.

Stomp

"Cana...this isn't the time and we're public." Erza said in a deeply annoyed tone freezing her friends including other customers and employees.

Cana giggled nervously and backed away sitting back down. "S-sorry, I was just playing with him."

"She's scary," Touma whimpered with a sweat drop.

In the Anglican Church Dormitory.

Orsola, Agnese, Sherry, Lucia, and Angelene were getting packed. "To think that idiot survived while being out in the ocean with the pilot."

'Yes, according to Kanzaki, she learned that he was found by a group of sailors, at least, that's how he put it." Sherry said a little suspicious. "From the tone of Kanzaki's voice, she might've thought Touma was holding something back."

"And she didn't bother questioning him more?" Lucia questioned.

"No, but, considering her liking toward the boy, I guess she didn't want to stress him out," Sherry replied with a shrug.

"Anyway, we're just glad that Touma is safe and sound," Orsola said sweetly. "Honestly, I was so worried about him."

"What about the other Necessaries?" Lucia asked.

"They left already, we'll catch up with the plane to Academy City sometime tomorrow, I mean we could've booked one today, but, they're so full of passengers that we have to wait," Orsola informed. "Oh well, we might as well shop kick back and relax."

At the Pizza Hut restaurant.

Index along with Mirajane, Aquapad, Lisanna, Rufus, and Yukino checking out the mall. "Wow, this mall is even bigger than the outside," Yukino said with astonishment.

Rufus was impressed at the countless stores. "Indeed, this shall be a memory to remember."

"What store we check out first?" Lisanna asked.

"Food!" Index was practically drooling like a hungry dog. "I want to eat food!"

"Oh my, she's hungry," Mirajane felt like she was seeing the crazy appetite of Natsu and Akame.

"Well, we still have a lot of time, so, perhaps we can use this to get to know each other," Yukino suggested.

Shortly after, one table had Mirajane, Rufus, Yukino, and Index. A second small table across was taken by Lisanna and Aquapad.

Their three pizzas arrived. One was a cheese pizza and pepperoni pizzas Mirajane's group. Lisanna and Aquapad had a Cheese pepperoni pizza combo.

Index was chowing a slice of pepperoni pizza and drink at the same time. "So yummy!" She beamed and took a sip of her soda.

"Careful, you keep doing that, you'll choke," Yukino warned.

"Her appetite is crazy as Natsu and Akame's," Rufus commented. Index stopped abruptly as she looked offended and chomped her teeth on the Mermory-Make mage's head.

"Oh my goodness," Mirajane said a little surprised.

"Ow! Cut that out!" Rufus yelped trying to get the white outfit nun off his head.

"Easy, Index, Rufus didn't mean to say that," Yukino comically pleaded.

Aquapad chuckled a little. "She's a lively one." Lisanna shared the same reaction. "That's for sure." Though, another thing was on her mind. "That girl has magic power, though, her magic isn't beyond what I can sense."

After Index calmed down, Yukino decided to make conversation. "Anyway, Index, can you tell me about yourself?" The little nun looked at the Celestial wizard. "Well, I live with Touma for reasons, he saved my life when I was in pain."

That detail shocked the wizards. "What, you were in pain, how bad was it?" Lisanna asked.

Index rubbed her head. "Well, it's kinda hard to explain, but, I can tell you, guys, that if wasn't for him. I don't know where I'd be right now." She said smiling softly. "Though, that moron has a habit of running off somewhere and ends up in the hospital and picks up girls too!" As she chewed on the table like a beaver chewing on wood.

"Easy, you'll break your teeth!" Yukino panicked comically again.

"Her teeth must be made of steel," Lisanna muttered with a sweatdrop.

"Man, this makes me wonder how Gajeel can handle her," Aquapad added with a sweat drop.

On top of a building.

A dark long-haired girl wearing large glasses and having golden-colored eyes was observing the city. "To think the city has seized the tension."

"I was glad that Touma was safe after World War 3 was finally over." She looked up at the sky with a slight sudden concern. "But, I have an ominous feeling that another battle is going to unfold." She noticed some antil vehicles heading in a certain direction. She quietly followed them to a bus stop and saw two thugs being arrested. "What happened here?" She saw some Anti-skills talking to a few unusual people. Kazakiri observed them and sensed their magic power. "Their magic...it's...nothing I'd felt before." Just then Kovu's eyes averted in her direction. "Did he spot me? How could he?"

"Kovu, what is it?" Mest asked noticing his old friend staring in another direction. Kovu glanced at his captain. "I thought I saw something...something unusual."

Joan didn't know why, but, she sensed something too. "That magic...it felt like mine but a bit different."

Maggie and Arista were at the School District 15 where the largest shopping center is.

"This place is bigger than I last remembered." She thought observing the multiple shops. "Well, I might as well go ahead and start my shopping."

"Yes, I'll gather some info on tools and supplies," Arista said then she halted as she felt a faint presence and turned her head around seeing nobody. "Who was that?" She chose not to ignore it and continued. Around a corner of a nearby shop was Motoharu, who was peeking from the wall where he was hiding. "Did she notice my presence?" He chuckled with a smirk. "Clever chick."

At a private salon in School District 23

Stiyl and Kazanki were staying a one of the hotels. "To think that brat survived a helicopter crash in the ocean." The red-haired magician was sitting on a couch looking puzzled. "He claimed to be saved by sailors but knowing that little punk, he was holding something back."

Kanzaki had her face lowered. "True, but, we should focus on what's going on, according to news about that strange fish creature sighting it might've caused the scientists to get curious." She knew scientists were always interested in discovering new life or species. "I don't know, the sighting is legit, but, we should investigate into other matters."

"If you're referring to the crash site, then we should focus on that. My three apprentices will find Touma to keep a sharp eye on him."

"Speaking of, where is Motoharu?" Kanzaki asked curiously.

"He said something about checking something suspiciousness," Stiyl replied. "Honestly, I don't what he meant by that, but, it's clear that idiot has an idea." Kanzaki would disagree but, regardless that the blonde spy was a pervert he was also smarter than he looked.

Ms. Komoe arrived at Touma's apartment and was met by Anna. "Hello, I brought the kids their school uniforms." She gave them to Lucy's ancestor. "Also, I got a call that someone will be coming to live here. Kikyou will be dropping the new roommate." Anna was interested in this but she then had an idea. "Ms. Komoe, if you have a few minutes, could you come inside, I would like to ask a few questions about your student, Touma." It was a strange request, but, the little teacher didn't see a problem so she agreed.

Both Fairy Tail groups went to take a tour with Touma and Index separately and are causing havoc. Mest's group has drawn attention by stopping two thugs from hijacking a monorail. The other ladies that Touma saved hear of his survival and are already making plans to take a flight to Academy City. Anna is going to have a talk with Ms. Komoe and learn about Touma's character. What will happen next and with Lahara's group, find out next time.
