Chapter 18: Wrath the Two Spriggan Twelve

At the flying fortress.

Maria groaned as she sensed two strong presences fade. "Dina...Zira...have fallen such a pity." A faint smile was shown on her face. "Such stupid clones I created, they're expanding just like Zeref's other demons." The powerful dark aura emitted from her body as her voice became demonic as she was possessed by a demonic spirit.

Hordy Jones and his crew continued to destroy other buildings in School District 22.

"To think these buildings exist in this world." Hordy Jones said looking at the destroyed building he just sliced. "Too bad, they're all be nothing but a pile rumble!"

Zeo swung his silver chain at some trees breaking them down. "Such trees that the humans love shall see them as nothing but old dying plants."

Daruma was chewing through the spa until it came crumbling down. "Itching for more chewing...ca-ca."

Ikaros threw one of his new squid spears at a building which exploded leaving a large hole. "I can't wait to find more humans I can impale my new squid spears."

Hyouzou was chowing on some jerky. "This isn't octopus meat, but it'll do."

Back at School District 7

Kouta and his army of androids were causing havoc, destroying buildings nearby and trees being burned to the ground.

"Such destruction..." He thought as he felt regret. "Maria...I will obey you." He had his robot put its hand out firing a laser beam that blew up a small building.

Konori, Kuroko, and the other Judgement officers arrived. "Charge!"

Kouta sensed multiple presences. "Looks like Judgement Officers are here. Will they be enough?" He started to move his robot in that direction. "Regardless, they're my enemies."

At Judgement Training Ground

Dimaria was pacing impatiently. "Gee, do we have to wait this long?" She saw Brandish was having fun treating the soldiers like dogs. "Heel and beg."

The soldiers started to pant like dogs and heels too. "Good dogs," Brandish said in a cutesy tone. "This time..." She quickly trailed off when she sensed a few magic powers coming their way.

"Looks like they're here," She turned in the direction she was sensing the magic powers.

Dimaria had a wide smirk. "About time, I'm dying of boredom."

A jeep stopped in front of the two Spriggan twelve and out came Wendy, Carla, Kanzaki, Index, Touma, Lucy, Yukino, and Misaka.

Lucy confronted Brandish. "Brandish, why don't you recognize me?" She asked quickly. Brandish tilted her head in confusion which the other celestial spirit noticed, but she couldn't get distracted. "Now the plan..." She recalled what Kanzaki told her.

"Touma has the power to destroy illusions, in other cases, he can nullify other people's powers. If Index's theory on your old enemies being brainwashed because of a spell or something is true, then have Touma make contact with his right hand." Lucy also remembers Dimaria's magic and how it gave Wendy, Cheila, and Carla a hard time including her God Soul power.

Dimaria wasn't amused to see little kids. "So, I have to fight against little kids, not funny." Misaka took offense to that comment. "Kids huh, at least, I'm not an old lady like you."

Wendy gave the former Spriggan Twelve a stern look. "Dimaria, you might not remember, but I heard you became a farmer after Alvarez was defeated. Also, your friends are safe, they were worried about you." Dimaria just scoffed. "Sorry kid, but, you must be mistaken, the Alvarez Empire will never fall."

Carla was afraid this would happen. "The brainwashing spell must've altered their memories because they won't remember their defeat."

"Enough of this nonsense!" Dimaria yelled getting more impatient. "Men attack!"

The Alvarez soldiers charged at their enemies with swords, axes, and pistols.

"Open Gate the Scale: Libra!" Yukino proclaimed holding a golden key as Libra appeared.

"Gravity Change!" Libra activated the power of scales and trapped the soldiers in a gravity bind that pinned them to the ground.

"Aqua Metra!" Brandish put her hand releasing the sand from the area turning into a stream that was sent at Yukino.

Touma quickly leaped at the attack and put his right hand out which made contact making a glass-shattering sound thus stopping Brandish's attack.

"What the hell?" Dimaria cursed in surprise.

Brandish had never seen something like that before. "How did that boy do that?"

Lucy delivered a drop kick in the green-haired's chest sending her crashing into the sand. "Sorry, but, I have to get opening so I can free you!" She was in her Taurus Star-Dress with Taurus standing beside her. "Moo! I'm moo-ving for this match!"

"Earth Wave!" Lucy cracked her whip at the ground and sent a rolling earth attack that was heading toward Dimaria, who jumped out of the way and landed back on the ground.

Dimaria took out her backsword and charged at Touma. "You'll pay for your interference abomination!" Kanzaki took out her two-meter nodachi colliding the Twelve's sword. "Stay away from Touma and don't speak to him like that!"

"You got skill," Dimaria commented with a sly grin.

More soldiers arrived. "Damn it more of these guys." Misaka cursed under her breath.

Yukino returned Libra and took out another Golden Key. "Open Gate of the Paired Fish! Pisces!" Two giant fish appeared from the ground as they slammed into the soldiers.

"Wow, such big fish!" Misaka exclaimed.

"They look yummy!" Index drooled.

"Idiot, this isn't the time!" Misaka retorted.

Touma was taking on a few soldiers punching them with his fists and kicking in them in their stomach. "These guys are tougher than I thought."

At the Certain High School

Nikka was sitting on the top of the school's roof. She was still waiting as she began to think about stuff from her past. "Mother, do you think that the Heartfilla is alive?"

Child Nikka was in her bedroom being tucked in by her mother and having a chat about the Heartfilla family. "I do not doubt once her descendants find out where we are, we'll be saved and return to our original home."

"Do you want to go home, I think I like it here and the church loves you." Nikka giggled.

Nezuko chuckled softly. "Yes, I know, but, a part of me wants to see the Heartfilla family for helping our people. Sure, there aren't any more of our people since the dragon war. Though, we have to keep pressing forward no matter how long we have to wait to be rescued." She pats her daughter on the head. "Of course, we can stay here to live here with Dad, we just can go to Earthland for a visit."

Child Nikka giggled. "I would love to meet the Heartfilla Family, I'm sure they'd welcome us with open arms!" Nezuko was happy to hear that. "That's the spirit, either way, we'll just enjoy our life here and with Dad."

Nikka's curled with anger as blood dripped from her bottom lip. "That won't come true because Anna was busy hiding and never bothered to find out if we were alive." Tears were forming in the corner of her eyes. "Mother..." She put her head on her legs as she quietly sobbed.

At School District 4

Bloodman was looking around for any enemies. "Can't detect any enemies yet."

Wall had a wicked smile. "Not so fun, I hoping to take down some foes."

Zancrow felt utterly bored. "Damn, if I don't burn anyone with my God flames I'll be pissed off!"

Natsu and Happy were riding in a vehicle with Saiji and his group.

Natsu's cloned sisters were resting in the back. Natsu looked back at his sisters. "Are they okay?" Orsola smiled sweetly. "They're doing fine, they just need a rest." Natsu just smiled and turned his head away.

"I was amazed that those two are your sisters," Saiji had a grin. "Say, are your sister available?"

Whack

Tsushima pushed the back of Saij's head. "This is the time you pervert!"

"Oh sorry, can't a guy have a little fun, party pooper," Saiji groaned rubbing his forehead that hit the steering wheel.

"He loves her!" Happy teased putting his paws to his mouth.

"I still can't believe the kitty can talk," Angelene whispered to Lucia.

"Yeah, it's unnatural, but, he's a good kitty," The other sister nun whispered back with hues on her cheeks.

"By the way, is true that you were raised by a dragon?" Orsola asked curiously.

Natsu went silent upon hearing that question but took a deep breath. "Yeah...his name was Igneel King of the Fire Dragons. He was a great father, he taught me how to read and write a little. Though, I had to use a stick to write and spell." He rubbed his head a little embarrassed. "Though, I learned to write and read some more when it was revealed to my guild." He shivered comically. "Just thinking about that time gives me the willies."

"O-okay..." Orsola said with a sweat drop.

A soft chuckle was heard from Natsu who had a bright smile. "Besides that, he was a good father. He might not be here with me anymore, but he'll live on in my heart."

"Oh, that's so sweet, I could just cry!" Saiji comically wailed with crocodile tears.

"Oh brother," Angelene facepalmed, though regardless felt slightly touched by Natsu's story.

Orsola smiled sweetly. "I think your father sounds like an amazing guy. I wish we could've met him."

"Anyway, what do you plan to do with your sisters?" Lucia asked.

Natsu crossed his arms for a moment. "Honestly...I don't know." The others could almost face fault. "That was a fast answer, I think." Natsu just gave a casual look. "Well, no need to worry, I'll figure out what to do with them later after this war is over."

B

Kanzaki and Dimaria continued their sword duel as their blades made metallic sounds whenever they collided with them.

Dimaria smiled impressively. "Not bad, it's been so long since I had a strong opponent that was my level and I can detect strong magic power from you." The priestess gave the Twelve a stern look. "I'm not just some magician, I'm a Saint, which is the most formidable magicians in Academy City."

Dimaria just chuckled amusingly. "I see, I don't much about Saints, but, how you putting it, I can see why you're so strong." She clicked her teeth and split second her clothes were torn.

Kanzaki didn't realize it until she saw part of her top ripped open and her shorts were falling off. "No...why did you do it!?" Everyone looked to see a half-naked Priestess who just knelt to cover herself.

Lucy was perplexed. "Oh no...and I thought had it bad."

Yukino covered her mouth with her hands blushing pink. "Oh my goodness!" The soldiers saw this distraction. "Take this!" The soldier punched the girl in the face knocking her down but the girl quickly recovered as one of the giant fish tackled the enemy sending him crashing into several other soldiers.

Touma's eyes went wide with bright redness on his face. "Touma, don't stare at her like that?" The index covered her protector's eyes.

Misaka felt utterly jealous. "Her boobs are so big...and Touma was just..." Wendy felt the same way. "Such bigger boobs than mine."

"Child, this isn't the time!" Carla barked with shark teeth.

Brandish saw her chance and kicked Lucy in the stomach sending her skidding to the ground. "Aqua Metra!" The green-haired mage gathered a stream of sand at the blonde.

Acting quickly, Lucy took out another Golden Key. "Open Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!" The Celestial maid appeared. "You called a princess!"

Lucy activated her star dress giving Virgo's outfit. "Let's move!" She dug underground and quickly made it to Kanzaki. "Kanzaki, take these clothes." Virgo popped out her hand carrying the extra clothes that were hers.

"Uh...thank you," Kanzaki quickly snatched them and put them on.

Dimaria chuckled a bit. "Not bad, but, I'll just keep cutting your clothes again and again." She swung her backsword as she was about to click her teeth again. Index saw this and acted quickly. "Sento Joji no Sel'iki, lit." Just as Dimaria clicked her teeth, nothing happened which she noticed. "Wait, what happened...what didn't my Age Seal spell work."

Lucy was perplexed by what the little nun in training did. "No way, she mumbled a few words and Dimaria's Age Seal didn't work!"

Touma felt relieved. "It worked, it's all thanks to you Index." Index turned her head away hiding her blush. "Uhh...no need to thank me." Misaka looked at the two with jealousy.

Brandish was stunned with disbelief. "A little nun that can use spells to distort space time, quite impressive." She looked at the nun. "I can tell she's no ordinary girl, her magic is something I never felt before." She gathered more sand. "Well, I'll have to take her out first!" She released the stream of sand at the little nun.

Touma quickly got in front and blocked it when his right hand canceled out the attack. "Damn, that boy is becoming a nuisance."

"Hey, keep an eye on your opponent!" Misaka summoned strong electricity that struck Brandish electrocuting her intensely. She wasn't done as she gathered some iron sand and made a iron whip. "Have a taste of my...Iron Whip!" She swung her iron whip slashing the Twelve across her stomach.

Lucy felt nervous about what just happened. "Be careful!"

Misaka just waved with a smile. "Don't worry, I won't hurt her too badly."

"Randy!" Dimaria yelled seeing her friend getting hurt by a little enemy. "Enough of these games!" Strong magic energy started to emit from their body and was soon cloaked in shadow only showing her jaw. In the darkness her upper part of of her face, two small, bright discs area all that denote her eyes. The region of her body below her neck is marked with ethereal lines that streak across her body in various patterns.

Kanzaki felt utterly afraid. "What kind of magic is this?"

Index felt uneasy about this too. "I heard her magic was strong but this is insane."

Misaka could tell that this chick wasn't playing around anymore.

Wendy gritted her teeth. "You guys, be careful, she's using her Take Over spell God Soul: Chronos!"

Carla recalled this. "Yeah, not only that, be careful not to let her energy beams strike you, it'll do serious damage!"

"I will have fun slaughtering every one of you," Dimaria spoke in a deep tone. "Overflow!" She unleashed a shockwave of outpouring energy that destroyed everything within the radius."

Wendy quickly activated her defense spell. "IIe Armor!" Her spell was used on everyone and on herself to protect them taking serious damage as the shockwave blew them away. Touma quickly put right his hand out which destroyed part of the shockwave and saved himself though he was knocked on his butt due to the strong force of the shockwave. "This chick is tough, probably at the same level as Kanzaki and Aqua of the Rear."

Once the shockwave was gone, everyone regained their balance. Kanzaki looked at herself. "Strange, I'm damaged but not as badly."

Wendy walked over to the Priestess. "That was one of my enchantment spells, I'm able to attack, defense, and speed boost spells that are used to increase those types of skills."

Cough Cough

Misaka held her stomach as blood came out of her mouth startling the others.

"Misaka!" Carla cried in shock.

"Oh no!" Wendy whimpered.

Misaka suddenly collapsed on the ground and was unconscious. "Cough...cough..."

Wendy and Carla went over to her. While Lucy just stared in disbelief and confusion. "What just happened?"

Touma gritted his teeth. "Crap, I forgot, Misaka's is Esper!" Wendy and Carla looked at him puzzled. "To be clear, Espers and Magicians can't use one of the other's powers, it results in a nasty side effect that causes the victim's body to fall apart from the inside."

The earthland wizards gasped in shock. "Is she going to be okay?" Yukino asked concerningly.

Kanzaki had a suggestion. "Keep her away from the battlefield for now, Yukino and Index, protect her in the meantime while we handle the enemies!" Index and Yukino nodded in response. "Picses return!"

Wendy felt guilt hit her in the stomach. "Oh no, this can't be happening!" She sobbed as tears fell down her cheeks.

"Wendy, it's not your fault!" Touma said gently. "It's mine, I forgot to mention this and..." He placed his left hand on the young girl's shoulder. "The point is, I'm the one to blame, not you."

"Enough!" Dimaria roared. "Save your pathetic crocodile tears when you all of you die!"

Wendy then activated her dragon force. "Here we go!" Her hair color changed to pink including her eyes and her hair was longer than it was.

Kanzaki was taken off guard. "Such power from someone so young." Wendy rushed at Dimaria with high speed and punched the woman in the face.

Dimaria fell over temporarily until she regained her balance. "White Moon!" Carla cartwheeled into a dropkick on top of her God Soul mage's head. "Thanks to Wendy's IIe Veriner, my speed was increased and caught Dimaria off guard."

"Maria!" Brandish exclaimed in shock.

"Keep an eye on your opponent!" Lucy comes from the underground and punches Brandish from below. "Spica Lucy Punch!"

"Spica...Lucy...Punch..." Index said as she began to laugh. "That attack name is so lame!"

Lucy felt offended by that. "It's a good name!"

Brandish quickly recovered and snapped her fingers making herself taller. "I will crush you all with my giant feet!"

Wendy began to form a fast wind barrier with her arms spread out moving in a counterclockwise direction. "Dragon Slayer Secret Arts: Shattering Light Sky Drill!" The wind barrier was contracted inwards toward the tall Brandish.

Brandish covered herself with her arms feeling the damage. "Such power!" She thought.

"Time to die!" Diamria pointed their finger and was about to release her energy beam.

Kanzaki raised her sword. "Red Lotus Flames!" Dimaria was surrounded by strong red flames creating three explosions upon the Twelve.

"Dimaria!" Brandish yelled as she felt her anger boil inside her. "That's it, I'll take out you all!" She gathered streams of sand.

Lucy felt greatly worried. "Oh no, if she uses Aqua Metra again that size, we'll be taken down!" She glanced where Touma was. "Touma is too far, he'll need a few minutes to get to her in time!"

Index had an idea. "Hey tall lady, do you know your feet stink!" Brandish heard that remark as an anime vein appeared on her head. "Yes, after being in the sand, I bet it reeks of sweat!"

Not everyone understood what was going on until Lucy figured it out. "Good job, Index keep it up and Touma, be ready!" Touma followed as Index continued to insult Brandish as she was pissed off.

Yukino saw her chance and recalled Libra. "Now Star Dress: Libra Form!" Yukino's outfit became similar to that of a belly dancer and also bore Libra's Zodiac sign on the belt of her skirt.

Lucy was amazed. "When do you learn that, Yukino?"

"From you, that, after the last year, I was training and learned this technique." Yukino giggled proudly as she and Libra put their hands out. "Gravity Change!"

Brandish felt her gravity being altered as she struggled but started to be hard because two people were using gravity change on her at the same time. "Touma, once you get close, we'll stop the Gravity Change and use your Right hand to break the spell!" Touma nodded and ran as as he could toward the tall green-haired wizard.

Dimaria got up despite the damage she took from the three explosions. "I don't know what you plan on doing but I'll make sure it doesn't happen abomination!" She pointed her finger again in Touma's direction.

"Dragon Breath!" Index by a miracle she was unleashed her powerful dragon breath magic and took the Twelve by surprise she was hit greatly by the breath attack and was sent flying away. "I can't...be defeated not yet...by a little...bra..."

Once Touma was close to Brandish, Libra and Yukino stopped their Gravity Change and that was Touma's cue to use his right hand as he touched her heel causing a shattering glass sound.

Brandish felt her power being nullified and the spell that was on her was broken as her size was altered reducing to her normal size as she passed out.

"Go after Dimaria now!"

"I'll give you a hand!" Kanzaki used her wires on Touma's to pick him up by his body giving him a lift.

"Thank you, Kanzaki," Touma said with a smile causing the Priestess to faintly blush.

Dimaria was getting up just as Touma noticed and threw his right hand delivering a punch to her head and knocking her thus breaking the spell that was on her rendering her unconscious.

"We did it!" Wendy cheered as Carla smiled proudly.

Lucy held up Brandish. "Brandish...Brandish...are you okay?" The green-haired wizard opened her eyes slightly. "Lucy...where am I?" Lucy put her finger to her lips in a hush position. "It's fine, you're with friends, we'll take you somewhere to rest."

Touma carried Dimaria by her arm. "This chick was strong, so, what do we do now?"

Kanzaki had a suggestion but before she could a word in, a truck drove to them, and out came Kikyou. "Everyone alright here." Lucy recognized the woman. "Hey you're-"

"Yes, I believe we met before, I'm Kikyou. Anyway, how are things going here?" Lucy explained the situation. "I see, in that case, I would be glad to take your friends to the hospital." Seeing that would save a trip, they couldn't turn down her offer. "Alright, also, Index and Yukino, go with them," Lucy advised.

"Why us?" Index asked.

Touma stepped in. "Because they're going to need someone to look after them in the meantime, and as for me, I will continue to fight in this war. I'll be fine with them so you two get going."

Index could see that Touma wasn't going to budge from his choice. "Alright, but keep your promise." Touma smiled as Yukino approached him. "I must admit your power is amazing, I think you're cool." The black-haired teen blushed red. "Uh...thank you."

"Touma...are you flirting with her?" Index growled with a disturbing aura. "Huh!? No! No! It's not like that!" Touma panicked comically as the little nun chased him while baring her fangs like an angry dog.

Lucy, Kanzaki, Carla, Yukino, and Wendy just sweat dropped at the comedy routine.

Later Yukino and Index caught a ride with Kikyou and left the two unconscious Spriggan Twelve.

Back at the flying fortress.

Maria felt the link between Brandish and Dimaria was gone. "The two Spriggan Twelve have fallen...such incompetent humans..." She had a wicked smile. "Let's see if the others will fall, though, it won't a difference." A creepy evil chuckle was heard from the girl.

Brandish and Dimaria were defeated and the spell on them was broken thanks to Touma's Imagine Breaker. As for the others will they win their fights, find out next time. The Iron Whip move goes to the writer MangaToons.
