133. The Changing Of The Guard VI: Friends

Warnings: The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.

This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.

As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 133: New Futures And Fresh Starts IX: Time's Arrow and Recovery Ix

"Doctor you got a schizo effective here, over the sarcophagus, and with it, her fears of my leaving the SGC, she crossed, she's one of them now." he said and he nodded, as Daniel pulled out a multitude of files necessary. "Better listen to this." he said, pulling out a recorder. "This was the second here that, after I told him the truth, to what we were doing there, he decided on the same tactic Maybourne said, but here's what happened next."

"But this is dead man walking here right now, because in my case, is, and I'm being honest, they're holding me hostage so they never walk back in there. On the one hand they want off the base line team, but on the other, they still need me. And for two reasons, but I just decided the hell with it, they want to die, then fine. It's no business of mine, they kill themselves foe not following medicals." he said to them gently then.

"Whatever gets said next, is putting in psyche here right now, because she's facing a serious case of Linda's stay in my side of the psychiatric department. David, Jack, Adam, Rob, Erica Mark." Hancock said sternly and the men looking the quintet all nodded to the orders. "We do it in the morning, if he brought back any technology we can use, we do that." he said they and Rosen nodded sternly then to that, knowing Rosen decided then.

Just to work with the trio then finally. "Just jump over the arrest and them telling you the truth, and move to you confronting them in the mines, Teal'C is one of mine we know that. So the traitors are the duo, before you show us the entire episode from your point of view. Because this is enough to get them killed now." Parker said sternly and he nodded to the orders, knowing this was really going to piss off the team then, after what he told them so far now then.

"What the hell is going on?" Jack asked and they heard Sam followed that up with the next question. "Been days since we saw you, before hearing from you next, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm still working at getting you guys out of here, oh in the mean time. I've discovered something incredible.', this sounds matched to the episode, you were pretending. Now, to be tanked and out of your mind, but on a health food binge and protein shake, medical recovery."

"But knowing you better then you know yourself, you tricked them." Walker said to this gently. "Well this sounds like the exchange on the episode." Hancock's orderly said and he nodded. "It is, with my personal touch, but remember your remark dad, oh I can't, I have my orders. Too Colonel, I obey mine." he said and Hammond nodded. "Is she questioning our decisions, when a mere captain, we gave you orders, to study the damn thing." Hancock said to that news then.

"She did, but her arrogance is military intelligence, in every way you can say it, but seems this was the sextet's plan, but the sheep lead in trick. And Pyrus got a consolation prize in the form of Jack now, I'm a plant, working for the colony ring, in bringing them back. Jack was the bait, as he waited for you to send Makepeace and Johnson, and we got them all. Carter was the unsuspecting bonus, and the elixir is the symbol, just like his arm." he said and they nodded.

"It's been days since we saw you?" she asked and listening carefully they knew his eyes flicker to another spot in the cave right behind them. "You really care about me, or just getting out of here sooner?" he asked and the generals nodded. "Yes that's going to have them back pedal alright, as you never normally talk that way to him. With you just getting over your cold and you're still recovering from the P.T." Henderson said, smiling sternly to that.

"For your information the damage done was 30 broken bones, 15 damaged internal organs, my leg was broken in two places. And along with my ankle, I'm still in P.T., Colonel, Captain, that dad and the sextet. Now decided to extend the mission, so sorry, if I never came sooner, I'm getting over the flu. After my P.T. slammed me into the wall here." he said warningly and Hammond nodded, knowing they paled at that news.

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?!" she said quickly, as they heard the fear enter her voice then."Do you really care or are you determined to have me pick the pace, to get you out of here right now, because I'm sure they. That's the medical department, would say keep my head down, do my research. And recuperate, as such, the conditions shifted from hostage situation to trade dealing right now at the moment."

"But after nearly killing 350 miners and guards, you, the SGC, owe them a new mine, Captain." he said and knowing they went even paler, he went further. "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm still working on getting you guys out, oh in the mean time. I've discovered something incredible." he said and she nodded firmly. "Yeah like learning that she's been lying to us for 3 months, and she's in big trouble." Hammond said sternly and Hancock nodded.

"You do know we're dying down here, right?" Jack asked and Matheson sighed at that. "You're dying, how about you causing a cave in, that nearly killed me, or is it only your lives matter here, you self righteous…, well I see no reason here to do anything. I mean anything, to save your sorry but from conviction or worse when I get home. You really stepped there now didn't you, I can have you removed from the program.'

'And forever if you do this, you remember that, well now it's my turn right now, but dark cave, or jail cell, and drugs, if you're looking at the guard behind me in fear. It's he's an alien Segei, your record down to the limit, you are mine now, mine!' Daniel said in shocked disgust. "And that remark is enough to have him convicted for conspiracy and sedition, you just went one better and got them marked for us." Barnes said sternly to that.

"Uh huh, well after trying to kill me the other day, you deserve to be stuck in here, Colonel, he knows who you are, both of you. In fact you walked right into Aramis and Athos's king, his daughter's my betrothal contact. And now I got to fix what you screwed up, a trade deal worth 900 octillion now." he said and they knew Jack had paled. "Well that's enough to scare the crap out of them now." Walker said, smiling sternly to that.

"How can it worth this much, there's nothing we can give them for what they're offering us!" she said shaking and he smiled. "Actually there is, this is what Addison was talking about: to make peaceful contact, to make friends. Well this was the side portion of the job they created for me, but Farming supplies and livestock. In exchange for some drugs, that should help emergency arrest." he said to her gently.

"Before you ask why I didn't tell you this, I'm working for Sanderson, this was something. That they desperately needed medical technology worth something to the military medical. However Sanderson and Hancock are connected to Dr. Rosen himself, you remember: the psychiatrist looking like Plummer at his current age." he said and they heard a thunk. "Yeah she panicked and tripped over something." Rosen said to that gently.

"But I've taken the opportunity to do a little research on the sarcophagus, it's amazing, in what it does to you when you're already healthy." he said and Anna nodded as she translated that. "Research on the sarcophagus, ordained by Uncle Jerry and the president, you know if your father was in the program at that time. That he's telling you to suck it up Captain, just because you're being hold hostage, doesn't give you the right to question it."

"Question orders given by the president, of the United States of America, and the joint chiefs, your bosses." Parker said, knowing Sam started shaking. "And again, you're a captain, he's a Lieutenant Colonel, and we're 2 to 5 star generals, who wins here right now. In who he's going to listen to, you two ranks behind, Jack one rank ahead, or us, 3 to 7 ranks ahead." Levy said, knowing she realized she was screwed, she couldn't dispute orders without being court martial.

"And definitely when he's no where near recovered yet, so you can just wait right there, till he's recovered enough to return to base, but he's been coming us every days. That this next exchange was enough to land you in the pot, as you boiled alive in your psychosis." Patterson said and knowing they'd panic, realizing it didn't matter what they said. So long as he wasn't healed yet, they were stuck in the mines, till the trade deal was finished as they heard it.

"Whaa, is that really such a good idea?" she asked and she shook her head as Anna sighed. "Dumb question young lady, the medical/psychiatric department demanded a detailed research doctorate on the parameters necessary to keep it off earth right now. Earth and the colony ring, and because Jolinar's knowledge is not enough, we need this. From an Earth human standpoint, because everyone not on earth is an earth human." Matheson said to that remark sternly then.

"Yeah, now the truth is out right now, it takes 6 doses in a broken one, to fix the damage." Carson said to that. "You questioning the orders of your father, your godfather, and the joint chiefs let alone the president, Captain?" he said her sternly then. "Now wait a second, this doesn't sound like something they'd say." she said, shaking and he said it, and Sanderson crossed his arms. "It's got to be Reg's double." Geordi said to that sternly.

"Indeed it was, after we realized we been hijacked by the Keeper, they became convinced, if the orders never make sense. Then we been compromised, only now the orders were real, after Philonius told me, Daniel went to the quartet. Before we went to La Rochelle, and Daniel sent a letter." Teal'C said sternly to this then. "Oh are you calling your commander delusional, or brainwashed, even being replaced here, if the orders don't make sense, as the last."

"In times was artificial, this time it's real, like the Keeper jumped back into your head, this doesn't sound like the real General Hammond to you. Then I'm hallucinating as a reason to claim the technology is affecting me. So tell me, what if, when we go home, they heard you're suffering schizophrenia now. The orders don't make sense, then it's a lie right now, brought on by drugs?" he said sternly and they heard it in her voice then.

"Ouch yeah that's a good accusation here, she's convinced here, what we told you is all in your mind right now, and we're not the real deal. And someone's impersonating us, yeah this makes a good reason: psyche eval now." MacGregor said sternly, crossing his arms. "In fact I'm willing to bet the blending has altered your memories, one personality. Slowly destroying the primary, that you don't see this for what it is, Argos, in X-rated form."

"So with that, I think we need to have you checked, in an eval, barely 3 months annd already the alter ego is rewiring your memories, Jolinar never checked it. To realize you keep ignoring Argos, to not realize this is Argos in X rated form now. So I wonder how the generals will take it when they find out now, you're suffering a psychosis. Of the orders never make sense, then it's a lie now." he said and they heard a back pedal.

"No I didn't say that, but normally they never take risks with alien technology, that why start now." she said and knew Daniel nodded. "That's never take risks with military technology, but they do with medical technology, Pyrus's leader of the human side. Of the 5th race, they found a way to harness the power of the sarcophagus now. To create life saving drugs, but behind the 17th century facade, they are beyond now."

"Technologically advanced, their skills in chemistry are practically magic, because it's mixed with the healing powers of the sarcophagus. Because the medical department need to see if there's something useful in medical technology out there. I may have just found it, in the form of the effects of it, rather then using the damn thing. And directly, is there a way to synthesize the healing properties of the technology."

"As we're too young to harness that effect, they went to trade with the king, for the arrest drugs, that I'm testing out now." he said and they heard a panicked tone. "Why they never tell us, that's what we came here for." she said and they nodded. "It's because you're too close to the root cause, but, as you're clearly. Now, not thinking straight, when the person running the medical side is a 5 star medical psychiatrist."

"He and his 5 star command counterpart suggested to the president, that they run testing on the damn thing. And followed by a question/answer session with the oldest man alive, as they don't trust whatever you get from Jolinar. 1) and 2) is the fact, she could be as you said about Hathor, who is her master here. And before she became Tok'ra, so needing a human side." he said and they nodded, knowing she had gone pale.

"Ouch now there's a beyond brutal opinion, we can't trust her knowledge, just who did Jolinar belong to, before she became a Tok'ra, as she said. When the CIA grants sanctuary to an enemy turncoat, they never trust their intel, they watch them like a Hawk." Apone said smiling sternly and MacGregor nodded, knowing Daniel was right then. "What, why would they do this without telling us why we really came here, I have that knowledge, why do they."

"In truth need it, and send us here without telling us why we came?!" they heard her say in fear and Hammond nodded as they heard it. "Young lady, do you really deserve to know that, right now, I'd say that the arrogance of the Goa'uld. Inflated your overly inflated ego right now, but as O'neill said, he's going down, and he wants to take you with him. Now suck it up and wait it out, this mission is not over till we say it is." Henderson said sternly to this attitude.

"And to quote Curry, after the goat said the place was cursed, well there's an informed opinion here." Lou said and Anna started laughing at that. "Said knowledge that never came forward yet, and, so whatever you tell dad, he can hear that from Teal'C. But seems to me this is a psychosis about to start, said you're trying to keep the blame here. On the sarcophagus for sounding like what I am now: a Commander and one here now."

"That is seeing this as you're sick to death of my saving your life, and wanting to take things extra slow now, so with that. Is there something you're trying to hide from them or me right now, if you're against their orders to me. And my spending this much time with the king and Princess?" he asked and they heard Teal'C say it with a bemused smile. "Indeed Captain Carter, why are you so against this." he said to her then gently.

"I was hiding a smile here right now, as they were both looking at him, but the king told me he read her diary, said chapter, and this was enough to completely irk me. So I decided to test her myself, and locked gaze with the guard, and he nodded, before tapping his knee. And I knew the shock of learning she lied to us, said was too much, as two traitors now. I'm the only loyal one now in truth here." Daniel's best friend, Teal'C, said and they nodded in understanding then.

"It's not that, I'm just worried about how that's going to affect you, it could be dangerous." she said and Hammond nodded. "Teal'C, to the generals, dad and the president, the secretary, they see this as anything she gets from Jolinar's memories. They can get from you, you grew up with the technology, you know how it works here, are there any side effects?" Daniel asked and they heard a gentle tone to him then at that.

"The euphoria is going to wear off after a time and back to being you again, but currently, you're thinking the way. That Drew's husband was on the movie, only the roles are reversed right now. With you not done healing yet currently, so said number you give us, with it possibly being broken, is by 3's now. The added side effects, are some extra adrenaline, and the only way to get rid of it, is by excessive Cardio."

"Wearing yourself out right now, you'll be fine, but a couple weeks recovery here now, and then back on the job, it doesn't effect your kalach. And with sum number doses, you're about to tell us now, it's after 50 in a broken one. And 100 in working one, that's dangerous now, as it turns you from good, to so good. That you appear evil to everyone else now, and makes you tell the truth, no matter how much it hurts."

"And that's been known to happen in a human now when the servos inside it start getting old, when broken it triples the dosing here right now. So though looking all healthy, you're not done healing yet, if Commander Philonius is here." he said and Rosen crossed his arms. "That's exactly what he told me, exactly what Pyrus told me, he did the same testing on it I'm doing right now." he said and knew Teal'C nodded then.

"I understand, then you, me and the king are plenty, in reliable intel, she's very young here now, that the generals will see here, that our knowledge. And combined together with the knowledge of the drugs they possess, that can save lives right now." he said and Hammond smiled and nodded. "So two valuable, reliable sources of intel, combined with Daniel's advanced research, how can she deny this now, when Jolinar is not a real Tok'ra at all."

"Young lady don't go there, just because you think your knowledge based on Jolinar's is enough, well it's not, we need a human source of intel. Not a biased opinion, based on 72 hours right now." Adam said sternly crossing his arms, as they heard it quickly. "If it's broken, then you really need to stop using it!" she said and Hammond swung his hand up, as Matheson nodded sternly to the news. "Never know when to stop, do you." Barnes said to that sternly.

"He's under orders here, you're breaking ranks, young lady." Jordan said and they heard a warning tone enter his voice to her then at that. "Why exactly, well really Captain, do you need information on everything, I'm working the psychiatric department. One, and 2) and more importantly now, do they have to give a reason for anything. I mean anything that they do right now, and get it approved by you, Captain, huh, that it."

"Is that it, that what you're thinking here, when you're a mere captain, you think you're so special. That you, or your precious Colonel O'neill deserved to be told what their true intentions on a meet and greet are here right now?" he asked and he nodded. "Yeah once you play back the visual memory for us, we're seeing them both go white, realizing they can't dispute orders without getting court martialed." Henderson said and Barnes nodded.

"And you're right, the Tok'ra point of view is beyond biased, we need intel based on a human point of view, of the technology, not using the damn thing directly. We can synthesize it's healing properties, to create drugs, as we see what their drugs did for you. It pans out, with Pyrus, we do his entire kingdom as France is one of the healthiest countries. So good food, great health benefits, all it costs is farming supplies, gold and silver." Picard said sternly to this then.

"Well news flash, Captain, it's not like they need your approval for everything they do here right now, where the program is concerned. You a Captain, them a 2 to 5 star general, they demanded a research battery, and with them the president. I'm simply following orders here, given to me by my uncles and our commander in chief's orders. But that research study was ordered by the entire joint chiefs and the president."

"And with them, the very men your commander is afraid of, who just arrested him, during her." he said, knowing she went white at the threat, knowing as a captain, as they out ranked her by 5 to 9 ranks. "If that's not a warning of don't go there and even attempt to, you're being court martialed. And nothing ever is, but we say, she does, end of story, but if that's not arrogant in her case here and nothing ever is." Henderson said and Picard nodded.

And in stern agreement then at her arrogance, she couldn't question this now, without being arrested for why it happened. "But I can't get Shyla to trust me if I don't show I can't trust her, she's helping me with the research. And it's working so far at the moment here now." he said and she sighed as she answered that. "Oh it's Shyla now, first name basis, Shyla." Jack said and she sighed at that reaction as she looked at him in annoyance.

"Colonel, I suggest you just shut up right now, she's my betrothal contract, I created it with her, to prevent what you did, during her." he said sternly and Jack started shaking in fear. "Yeah I'd have a panic attack too if I were you, are you really choosing now to insult royalty, and not just any royal, the future wife of the next king of La Rochelle." Pulaski said sternly, in shocked disgust, as even seeing the guard standing there, he's getting insubordinate.

"But you really thinking I would never figure it out, what you intended to do, throw me up in your place, to be free of Claude and Porthos?" he asked and he went white. "I'm not imagining this, I read your notebooks." he said sternly to them. "And that's enough to have them completely freak out, as they had to turn it around fast. And you gave the knee jerk reaction, as she came to me now, before you passed out." Henderson said to that sternly then.

"But I've used it before without side effects, and look no glasses." he said and she said it, her tone concerned. "That looks like a side effect to me." she said and they heard an ignorant tone from Jack. "Daniel get us out of here." he said and listening to the fast remark as Hammond heard it carefully she realized it. "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm working on it, I just need a little more time right now." he said and she nodded sternly.

"The president authorized trade right now, but you screwed up your chances for royal hospitality here, but let me be frank right now." he said and he started shaking in fear. "Nice emphasis on Frank's name, and he starts shaking in fear, as he knows he just got caught, this was his record down to the limit, and we have him now. George explained everything to Danny." Picard said sternly then and Hammond smiled at that remark sternly to then news.

"Pyrus just happens to be the king, the quartet all talk about it, King Pyrus Beaumont, his daughter Shyla, is my Shyla, my betrothal contract here. And quite frankly, knowing certain truths, I decided to leave the search alone. But I been comming the SGC every 24 hours, knowing here the president wants the trade deal. I mean if just the serum and elixir can make an impact, what else is there is healing drugs now."

"Oh I sent General Hammond another message, hopefully he won't order an all out attack." he said as he went further at that remark as the entire group nodded firmly to that. "Look if we do this right, we'll have access to all the naquada and the sarcophagus." they heard as they heard the emphasis on the word sarcophagus. "The Naquada no, but that thing forget it, we're not bringing it to earth." Henderson said and Guinan nodded sternly then.

"What we need is the research, hence, 'I took the opportunity to do a little research on the sarcophagus.'. not paying attention to that young lady, huh. As he made it emphasized, he had orders not to rock the boat, keep his head down, till the quintet walk in. And now things change course here right now, some friend you are, not to see what he was really saying." Henderson said and Sanderson nodded, as he listened to this carefully, as Barnes crossed his arms.

"How many times have you used it?" she asked him and he sighed as he repeated it then say it. "I don't know, 9 or 10." he said and Anna covered her eyes as she sighed as Hancock said it for her. "Oh god, that's 3.5, times 3 that's why you're looking like this right now, you're running on fumes and you need back up, but can't call in anyone. Or that could get the others arrested and subjected to what they're doing to you." Beverky said in shock to that news then.

"Oh Sam, everything is so clear, I feel like I could do anything." he heard and sighed and nodded as he read through the subtext. "That's the reverse, you're so exhausted, you're likely to fall asleep on your feet now. The alnighter from hell, you just put in three weeks of over time here, but it's going to take weeks to recover. And from whatever else was going on, on this planet and both physically and emotionally now right at the moment here, but whatever here."

"Now, that he says next, that seals his fate in being deactivated till 451." Patterson said gently, to this now then. "One thing, you only have to do one thing, and if you can't handle it. Then we're going to break out of here without you!" he snapped at him coldly. "You're done, young man." Henderson said sternly, knowing he kept his eyes on her. "She wants me to marry her." they heard Daniel say and they sighed at that remark and news then gently.

As they heard the accepted tone. 'First I have to get Sha're back, get the little parasite out of her, and then put her and the baby into hiding.' Daniel said with a sigh of acceptance gently, know he decided to get married a second time. "What?!" they heard from Jack as he started to say it as she looked at Jack. "Alright look..." Jack started to say to him at that news then and they saw Daniel's eyes narrow in anger as he snapped at him then firmly.

And as they heard the hate in his tone and knowing Jack paled, knowing he was screwed now with Hammond then. "No you look Jack, alright that's enough of this, you know I am so sick and tired, of you deciding what's safe and what's not. That what the hell hero, what the hell, you think you're so special, I should ignore my own recovery. Not going to happen, and now I have to fix what you nearly screwed up, that trade deal here."

"And it's enough to bail the entire military out of the red line 9,000x's, now shut up and listen up, I've got everything under control. God man, you never show me any respect, now I'm handling it, all you have to do is hang in there." he snapped at him angrily at that in response then. "Alright, alright that's plenty, as I play this back to her, you had orders from us right now to study the technology, in the middle here."

"And of that research, you and the queen fell in love, but not quite, in order to protect yourself, you took on the marriage contract with her. But if she becomes Linda, on Furlong regarding you, and she's being put in the maximum security side. of the hospital. I got a few orderlies, this is Jack Barlough, he's, in appearance. Said orderly that knocked her over, but him, the man that got the keys thrown at him, the duo."

"That went her, said female security guard and 3 security guards, all of them matching the quintet that kept doing Linda at the time." Hancock said and Daniel nodded in relief to the news then. "Well I'm not answering any letters, no phone calls, nothing, she deserves this for her cruel remark, regarding Sha're. But Jack gets Dr. Rosen, the duo with him, she gets you, so she's about to make her situation worse with every action."

"But if she becomes completely deranged out of desperation, you have no choice, she needs help, it's not my job to prevent them from making fools of themselves." he said and he nodded. "No kidding." he said to him then sternly as they all said it together, that wasn't his job, they had to concentrate on the right one, that was the elixir. "I spend most of my time space bound right now, but we need to recon the planet we found her on."

"That it could be an ancient planet, it is, we know we're on the right track at the current moment, just 4 years, I bring it in. But we have 2 years, in 5 to 6 months, who knows what we can get done in that time here. No war slowing progress down, as we have a war starting, between you and the NID, as Jacob said.
